Instructions
  • Post your character sheet here using the template provided below.
  • Please do not post anything else here, all questions and comments should go to the OOC tab.
  • Only post here once character sheet has received GM approval

Notes on Equipment
  • Neo-Crusader arms and armor is pretty standardize as per the reforms pushed with the establishment of the Neo-Crusaders to make them more like an actually army then a group of raiders.
  • Neo-Crusader Armor varies rather in color. In order of increasing hierarchy they go Blue: Standard Trooper, Silver: Veteran Trooper Red: Rally Master, Yellow/Gold: Field Marshall.
  • Neo-Crusader Shock Troopers such as your characters are a little bit special, since they are under the direct orders of the Mandalore's second in command Cassus Fett and they happen to be doing suicidal crazy things they get the new toys from the war forges before everybody else.
  • All Neo-Crusader Shock Troopers have jetpacks for mobility and when they are pushed out of moving aircraft in low orbit.
  • In terms of weaponry Blaster Rifles, Pistols, Vibroblades, etc being elites you have a little bit more freedom in what toys you get.

Character Sheet Template

Name:
Age:
Gender: While those new to Mando ways may scuff at it, in their eyes anyone can be a warrior no matter gender.
Species: Discrimination based on species is not a real issue either, as long as you can fight well they could care less.
Combat Role: What is their role in the squad, marksmen, heavy weapons, new guy etc
Years in Mynock Squad:

Appearance:
Preferably a solidly written description, if you have to use a picture you may but only as supplement to the description.

Skills and Abilities:
  • In order of potency from most to least

Equipment
  • See notes above

History:
Once again a solidly written backstory so that I and the rest of us can know where your character is coming from and where they are going. Most Important facet would be how they came to be part of the Neo-Crusaders and more specifically part of the Mynock Squad.

Psychological Analysis:
Personality, motivation, etc. This and the history should be interlinked I.E one explains the other fairly well example grumpy mcgrumpster because parents were brutally murdered etc

Character Relations:
What they think of the rest of the members of the team, yep that is right I'm forcing you to think about other people beside yourself for a change. It may even require talking to people so spooky.

Name: Russ Oranus
Age:24
Gender:Male
Species:Human
Combat role: Close Combat Specialist
Years in Mynock Squad: Four

Appearance: Russ stands at just under six feet and weighs in at a feather under one hundred kilograms. He is built for both speed and power favoring neither over the other instead using them to bolster the other where one alone would fail. His muscles are taut from years of hard training under a harsh drill instructor. He has pale red hair, just slightly to dark to call strawberry blonde. His hair is buzzed short along the sides of his head and cropped closely to his skull along the top. His eyes are startling pools of blue and often glitter with humor, as morbid as it may be at times. A dark still healing jagged scar sits under his fight eye and when he removes his armor there are obvious signs of past battles and reckless charges. The marred flesh telling of not so near miss blaster bolts and vibroswords.

Name: Enu'falu | Enufa Lu-Vizsla
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Species: Twi'lek
Combat Role: Support
Years in Mynock Squad: 1

Appearance: Standing at 1.6 meters (5’3”) and 131 pounds, Enu’falu doesn’t tower over the majority of her teammates if any of them at all. With her young age she isn’t particularly battle-worn in appearance outside of a few cuts from vibroblade brawls and blaster fire. Her eyes are an icy blue much like her complexion and skin tone with light angular markings on her tendrils which extend past a metallic headband that was once her mother’s. When outside of her armor her appearance is likened much to that of a fringer or freight smuggler with a long jacket, tunic, and utility belt. Cosmetically she does not favor the superfluous or excessive.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Bounty Hunter
Trained from a young age with a wealth of experience in combat and non-combat by Mekket Vizsla, Enu’falu has very distinct knowledge and skills. This is not to say she is a master bounty hunter or mercenary but she is skilled enough to be competent at it. Tracking, predicting target psychology, information gathering, and ambush tactics are all part of her skillset.
  • Uncanny Reflexes
Due to her conditioning and training by Mekket Vizsla, the twi’lek has found herself faster than most with good instinctive reflexes and perception of her surroundings which has allowed her to avoid critical injury in senseless brawls with her betters. However she isn’t as fast as she used to be given that she is an adult and not an adolescent.
  • Tough Learner
Enu’falu has trouble learning quickly, which admittedly is not a good trait in a potential hunter or mercenary. In tight spots she will rely on a proven method of success rather than adapting in a pinch which can be quite problematic.

Equipment
  • Mekket's Mandalorian Helmet
  • Mandalorian Shock Armor
  • Aratech Heavy Blaster
  • GXW Blaster Carbine
  • Grenade Belt
  • Toolkit
  • Vibroknife

History: Enu’falu had a childhood that wasn’t particularly idyllic, but it wasn’t terrible—or it wasn’t until her father found himself on the unintended receiving end of blaster fire from a panicked target of a bounty. Given her mother’s death three years prior this left Enu orphaned on a backwater planet and at age seven would’ve been left to the elements of the underbelly of the planet if not for the guilt of the bounty hunter who indirectly caused her father’s death. This bounty hunter was a Mandalorian named Mekket, a veteran hireling from the infamous Vizsla Clan, and the man she would come to know as her second “father”. Despite this guilt and debt he thought he owed the young twi’lek, Mekket also found himself in an ill situation to raise a child in-between jobs as a bounty hunter/mercenary, his cynical worldview, a lack of experience with children, and poor time to do it. For a time he searched for a better home for the child but by the time he had found something remotely suitable found himself decidedly attached to the point he changed his mind about not raising her himself.

In time Mekket knew he had to prepare Enu if she was going to be able to do anything after his time had come and his final fight had passed. It was here that he began instilling Mandalorian values in her as well as constantly conditioning her as a hunter and fighter. Despite Enu’s difficulty learning quickly, constant training and lectures began to prepare her in several ways—even if Mekket had not birthed her himself he most certainly had a child of his own, something that kept him pushing her harder and harder as his expectations had to be met. After all, the galaxy was far more harsh and unforgiving than any difficult session of training. Following his private mentorship, Mekket began taking Enu on his contracts—explaining the occupation, what it demanded, and the consequences of failing; and seeing it point blank was far easier to grasp than being told like she had been previously. She operated as his pseudo-partner on these jobs and in time she did well despite some failures in the beginning that cost Mekket partial vision in his left eye. Consequences, indeed.

However, a fit of nostalgia and duty had been filling Mekket’s heart—one unrelated to his newfound daughter-partner. This was of course, the precedent of the raids that led up to the Mandalorian Wars. Enu couldn’t agree more with her adopted father due to what he had taught her and how he had in a way told her how to think. She was Mandalorian in many ways already, so with an eager hunger the duo found themselves on Dxun— where he had all of the rites enforced upon his non-inducted daughter. It was 3971 BBY. The training on Dxun was not easy and as Mekket set off to join the war himself with her on Dxun she found adrenaline and drive in her desire to make him proud—he had raised her since she was seven years old after all. She would go on to endure the Mandalorian training rites and earn respect, when she saw Mekket again he had given her his helmet as a keepsake: to keep her pushing on even if they were apart. After a modification the helmet became her own and she kept it close.

After a series of battles and surviving assaults where her comrades had perishes the higher command took an interest to her skills and looked to the vacancy of a role in the well-regarded Mynock Squad. To which she began serving under Rika Lapaz starting in 3963 BBY. It has been a year since, and the story carries on…

Psychological Analysis: Deflecting emotional issues with sarcastic snark, Enu finds trouble opening up to others. She’s admittedly abrasive and difficult, choosing to be rash and stubborn over obedient and open to new ideas. However, she does get decidedly positive results despite her difficult psychosis. She was admitted to the squad for her results and perhaps the benefit of working with others in a team climate to better her own cooperativeness. Perhaps it is due to only enduring loss that this rigid shell was born, or perhaps it was the mentorship by Mekket Vizsla and how he explained people to her in her childhood who himself had decidedly cynical views of the universe. Despite all of that however she does have virtues of courage, honor, guile, and loyalty – though it would take certain circumstances to breed such behaviors such as comfortability, friendship, or nostalgia.

Name: Mar Den
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Combat Role: Sniper/Force Recon
Years in Mynock Squad: 6
Appearance:

He stands at around 5'11 and weighs about 200 pounds. Eyes a chill blue, and hair a deep brown (that is often joked at it being due to a lack of washing facilities) when it is allowed to grow though often it is shaved off. His face can quite often appear burned, depending on where he's stationed, rugged and cracked with a serious look often plastered to his face. Underneath his chin there's a thin scar as if something once almost cut his head clean off. Whoever it was did succeed though in removing his right hand, which has been replaced by a synthetic hand which is encased in armour. Though it looks a bit stupid in the few times he is out of armour when in armour it looks identical to his other hand.

On his left shoulder he has a tattoo of his clans crest, which also sits on the chest of his armour right beside a skull. Another piece of graffiti is that the armour casing for his right hand has a kill count on it for high value targets that he has taken out.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Sharpshooter - Mar can boast impressive kill shots. Always hits his mark.
  • Force Recon - No matter the terrain he can scout ahead by himself, getting into the best position possible to relay information to the squad.
  • Melee Combat - He keeps a knife attached to just above his elbows, his middle, thighs and ankles in case he has to get close and personal. He also knows how to use them.
  • Survival Training - This goes without speaking, he can spend days if not weeks on his own in inhospitable conditions. He knows how to care for himself.
  • Air Capable - Naturally being Force Recon he has become quite practiced at using both Jump packs and speeder bikes.
  • Artist - Yeah, he can draw too.

Equipment

  • 1x Blaster Sniper Rifle - He doesn't get attached to a rifle, and will just use whatever is available.
  • 2x Blaster Pistols - One on each hip, for if it's getting closer.
  • Knives - One at each joint, and then some hidden blades. For when it gets really close.
  • 1x Standard Issue Jump pack.
  • 2x Flash/Stun Grenades
  • 1x Notepad.
  • 1x Pencil

History:

Mar Den is the youngest member of his family, and one of the many members of his clan acting as advanced scouts within the Mandlorian ranks. Even from a young age it was obvious what he would become, living in highland areas of Mandalore with vast forests his clan crew up being hunters. They wouldn't farm animals to butcher, for there was no challenge. Instead once a Den became old enough to carry a rifle he would be taught how to hunt.

Like the rest of his family Mar took a shining to this, he would go out on the hunting trips with other members of his clan. Often the youngers and the elders together as those of fighting age were often taken to be trained in the military for whatever the Manda'lor had planned.

On his thirteenth birthday it came time to go through Verd'goten, and he was ready. He was given a beast to track, a rifle and some basic rations. From there, it was up to him. Verd'goten would last as long as it took him to return, however he could not return without his prey. It took him three weeks, his clothes were tattered and his rifle only had enough charge for one shot. Though over his shoulder he carried the best, dumping it in the centre of town with a smile on his face. He had done it, he had become a hunter and he had become a man.

There was much celebration that night, as now an adult he took his first drink (With many more to follow) in celebration. They danced, and they sang songs. Until the headache in the morning. Training before he was an adult had been tough. What he was about to be put through was something more.

Though most Mandalorians didn't know it the Manda'lor had plans to expand, to let the Mandalorian people have the glorious battle they deserved the chieftens did and they had to get their people ready. As some of the best hunters on the planet the Den tribe had to get better. They could track prey across a planet, but could they track other living beings? The forest and nearby mountains became fake warzones. Mar would both be hunted, and th ehunter. Wearing the most basic armour provided to him.

His face became rugged, cracked and bruised as he climbed through trees and waded through foliage. It wasn't until he had five "Confirmed" kills that they felt him ready to be trained in a jumppack.

That was a new challenge entirely. It changed the playing field, he was used to fighting using variances in terrain but now he could reach places previously unreachable. At the cost of being noticed, the packs not being the most quiet of devices. His kill streak improved, then the war broke out.

Being immediately assigned to Mynock squad it was a change of pace again. Yes he had targets, but he had time limits. He had to hunt, and then relay the information back. Having worked as a team before it had always been with his clan mates, people like him. Now he was put into an entirely new theatre of conflict. Six years on, and he hasn't changed. Except for the loss of a hand, and it's subsequent replacement.
Psychological Analysis:

  • Emotionally Distant - He's spent most of his life hunting, he doesn't speak unless he needs too and is used to having to work by himself. That doesn't mean he can't work as a team.
  • Hunter - Years hunting he has grown accustomed to it. He sees himself very much as a predator having little to no care to the targets he's after, they're just his prey.
  • Clan Man - Like most Mandalorians he is very faithful to his clan, will likely marry someone within his clan and spent most of his life with them. They are his main weakness
  • Honour Bound - He may be a hunter, but he is honour bound. If challenged to a hand to hand/melee fight he will likely accept. That said if it's a mission he won't risk everything on his honour. Even if it breaks him.
  • Caring - Don't expect him to ever show it. But he cares, if his comrades are in combat he will engage the targets who are the biggest threat to them first. That said like before he won't risk the mission on it but if he can it is what he'll do.
  • Artistic - Nobody really knows where it came from, but he's artistic. He'll quite often spend time drawing scenes while he waits, usually requests from other Mandalorians
