Marcus rolled over onto his back, pushing himself upright when Rin offered him the hot coffee with an unintelligible mumble. Then he took a sip and, covering his eyes with an exaggerated yawn, said "yeah, you can say that again"
the morning passed uneventfully, neither of the two really addressing or acknowledging what had happened the other night from the murder to the incident in the shower. They seemed perfectly happy to just pretend it didn't happen.
So they went about their morning routines and managed to make it downstairs in time to grab something to eat before the kitchen closed and started preparing for lunch. With their last minute food they made their way outside to find something to do.
Marcus was currently tearing a bagel to pieces and swallowing hazardously large chunks as if someone was going to steal them from him if he didn't eat it all RIGHT NOW. Between bites he asked Rin what she wanted to do, if there was anywhere she wanted to go, but stayed clear of mentioning her family or the repair shop.
"Come on," He said after swallowing, already readying another decent chunk to inhale. "Theres gotta be something to do around here other then sleep in! Im still new here so you're supposed to be like the tour guide host person. So, host! He poked her in the ribs sharply with an elbow before the rest of his breakfast disappeared down his throat.
