And I haven't actually read or watched Oregairu, but after peeking at the Wikipedia page a few days ago, I've been considering it.

Well, as I see it, it's just an emergency escape button or a very vague 'bad things might happen to you' notion, neither of which is particularly strong or weak anyhow (but kind of makes him into their weird dodgy bruiser kinda guy).

But uh yeah, Oregairu's a good series. First season was okay, but the second is great.

Ok, so I decided to shake things up a bit, in two fronts to say the truth. The talk was good, but Reiko has at least twice the experience as any of the other characters should have, so I don't think it's too much of a stretch for her to notice the others are Ikaishi.

Also, I wonder what Daichi will do at the prospect of going on a "date" with a four years older woman? At the very least, I can bet that his friends at school will die of jealousy. Perhaps, if he plays his cards right, Daichi might even get out of this with a genuine girlfriend... who knows?

Speaking of which... It's actually normal in Japanese (and in most Asian cultures, iirc) to initially refuse a gift or offers of that sort (because that's the polite thing to do, 9 times outta 10), so the one being weird here is teeechnically Reiko. But meh, technicalities.

But like I said before, Reiko behaves more like a foreigner than a Japanese. She has had much contact with people from overseas since she studies more western Philosophy, so she kind of got absorbed in their culture. Also her family might have foreigner blood, like I mentioned.

She might be weird, I admit, but that just how she is supposed to be.
