@The Omnipotent Sphere Love the character, Is he actually a Cleric of Orcorum or is he just a worshiper? He's fine either way this is just my own curiosity. I like the touch with the Gold Knights, I like the ship ALOT. I can't seem to spot anything particularly problematic. I think he will fit in quite nicely with the Knights of Star.
And Gods TYPICALLY only have one Avatar and that sounds good to me
Quick Geography lesson for Galendar: ANgel's Landing sits smack in the middle of the continent and the whole nation of Galendar is made up of 8 Providences and Angel's Landing is the capital of Carincal the Providence that sits at the center of the nation. Its also the largest city in Galendar, second only to one called Kevin's Watch which sits on one edge of the nation. At some point here I will get a map all put together for reference
He's not a true cleric, as in he's not part of any official holy order. He's just a worshiper who earned the God's favor along with his four companions through their dedication and accomplishments.
I can make smaller, less detailed sheets for the other Gold Knights if they ever appear on the scene.

Sounds good, they can always go in the NPC section if you decide to use them for something. Oh and on that side note if anyone has characters from their characters back story that you think it might be interesting to put in The Stygian Blade, let me know. That could always be interesting.
Lux can be described as a very sweet and gentle woman. Protective of her friends and of those who are less off, she comes across as a selfless giver, eager to please the world and change it for the better. At times she can become the life of a party, merry and jolly for her comrades and those who call her, her friend, and always makes sure to keep everyone entertained. Though while Lux is kind, thoughtful and happy, she can appear Bitter, spiteful and enraged when provoked too far, and finds herself unable to keep a clear head during these moments, she isn't perfect, and even she has her weaknesses.
Biography/history:
"So... You wish to know about the Lady of the Veil?" Spoke a white cloaked woman, her skin freckled yet void of impurities, her fingernails sharp and strong, clawed almost, like a demons. Her voice was strong, mature and deep. You and the cloaked female sat in a garden, lonesome and devoid of people, as the woman patted a wood and monochrome bench beside herself for you to sit, whether you sit or not, was up to you...
"I suppose I should start from the beginning then? Atleast, from what information tells us... The lady of the veil's name is Lux Shizuku, born into the middle class, granted a life time of opportunities. The world was her oyster, and could have spent the rest of her life getting fat off the land available... But she was different. The lass, even as she was a young girl, strove for peace. She was born between two people, a human male, an alchemist and a scholar by the name of Lisandar, intelligent, smart, but mysterious, and a woman, a cambrion, a cambrion born between a demon and a cambrion herself, which made Lux a Chaos Scared. Her mother was named Merillis, confident, with a strong will and a different attitude than most demons, infact it was her personality that transfered to lux, her desire to protect, was thanks to her mother.
Lux was born as the little sister of two years younger between two twins, Akira and Unaxis, both of which were polar opposites. While Akira was much like lux and their mother, Merillis, desiring to put criminals and putrid people to justice, Unaxis was more... corrupted, petty and easily manipulated, and as such, became more demonic as many would picture them. He loves to manipulate, control and dominate, seeing himself in the most narcissistic light one would ever imagine.
Lux as a child, was helped to train under the sword from her mother as well, as she gained her mothers sword and reflex skills, she put them to good use and from an early age trained her. Akira was a man who talked as his weapon, never needing a blade, while Unaxis went off to train by himself, spiteful for not being trained like lux was, even as lux trained, offering to teach Unaxis, his stubborn pride made him walk away, too snobbish to let a young girl teach him.
Over the course of her training, Lux acted like a rather adorable pint sized knight, while she wasn't slaying monsters or killing people, she used her skills to protect the lower class from their higher class tyrants, and time and time again assisted those less fortunate than herself, while even giving them coin to live on, not being able to stand oppression or classism.
The more she trained, and the older she grew, her talents would only increase. As she got older, she was instructed in the powers of magic as the next stage of her training, and was taught much of what she knew through it, her brother Akira, studied to become a politician, so while she could influence the world for the better with her blade, he could do it with his tongue, while her other brother Unaxis, did what he desired of his own accord, without their knowledge... knowledge that would soon bring ruin to the family.
At the age of 19 years of age, Lux had finished all the training that her mother could have given her, which was convenient and lucky for her... and yet, unlucky at the exact same time. Lux had taken a shop as a mercenary for hire, and made herself busy protecting those who sorely needed protection, and was unaware of the events of her home city in the process. On her return from an assignment, coin in her hands, she found her city swarmed with screams, upon entering, the streets were litered with corpses, blood soaked into the dirt, as did the corpses of men, women and children.
To her horror, the civilians of the city were ravaging eachother, like psychopaths, they consumed eachother fleshy bit by fleshy scrap, like zombies, all the while screaming in agony which cannot be fully described, and she slashed down all who opposed her. With nobody to save, her only choice was to head home, to break the door open and to find... her mother, stripped of flesh and completely skewered with blades, the only thing left, being a long white veil, a special memento of hers, tied to her neck.
Removing it slowly, she rested her mothers body down, not even given the chance to give her a proper burial as the city practically tried to eat her alive like some form of horror come alive. Even with her skills, escaping for her dear life, she was lucky to keep her skin intact, and was able to flee the city, with her mothers veil in her hands, perhaps it was the veil that saved her... which she would find to be true, as a mist coated her vision when she had took it.
In the space of a day, she was all alone. She had no idea where her father or brothers had gone, like they had vanished into thin air. But she knew unaxis couldn't have murdered anyone, he was smug, but he wasn't insane... He was mainpulative and smart, this wasn't his doing... And so, the Lady adorned the veil, and headed off alone... becoming what one could consider a hero.
What heroic deeds could she have done? If you can call them heroic, she saved civilisations, free'd communities from tyranical rule, slayed mighty beasts, put her life on the line for mere strangers, and so forth... A hero of the selfless calibur, and a lady who shrouded herself in the veil, strengthening herself to protect the people, and perhaps one day, find out what happened... That's when she came upon Angel's Landing, to hopefully make a difference to the lives of many...
The cloaked lady stood up from the bench and removed her white elegant cloak, to reveal the face of lux, the veil upon her head. She sighed contently, and gave a slight nod to you, before her body became almost phantasmal, a thick mist coating the garden, as she vanished from sight, leaving you to your thoughts...
Reason for recruitment: Even though anyone in her predicament would go the cliche path for revenge, Lux doesn't care for revenge or vengeance when she joined. In all honesty, she had joined just so she could stop what happened to her from happening to other people, to keep them safe and secure, and to give up her own life protecting those who can't protect themselves, and asks nothing in return from the ones she saves.
Still, thoughts of getting her revenge do surface from time to time, but she tries to bury those feelings away, and simply desires to put an end to terrible monsters for other people, not herself, as that would be selfish.
Strength of Will: Greater
Magic:
illusion magic:
Veil: Swiping a long transparent veil from her pocket, she covers her head, from which a hazy mist pours, not turning her invisible, but making her incredibly hard to see through the mist, as her body appears phantom like. The moment she THINKS about attacking, she appears complete again. This effect can last several minutes, and gives her a great chance to ambush enemies, and is known well for this technique, granting her, her title and nickname, using her will to think passively until she is right up to her foe, to gain an upperhand. Cannot be used over and over or abused (( to be fair, obviously ))
Force Magic:
Zephyr bolt - Channeling magic through her high frequency electro longsword, Lux can swipe her sword forward to send razor sharp wind slashes toward her foes which are coated in the electricity of her HF blade, allowing her to slice her opponents with the sharp wind and deal lightning bolt damage simultaneously. The electricity can travel to three targets in close proximity, to zap and either stun or deal damage.
Abjuration magic:
Will Shield - Plasma steel round shield: Channeling her Abjuration magic through her shield, Lux is able to conjure a transparent magic shield in the shape of a circular wall, which allows her allies to see through, but which her enemies cannot. Depending on how big the wall shield she conjures is, it will drain her of her ability to use magic either slowly or quickly, but is very durable, but will eventually shatter after enough hits.
Abjuration Magic:
Curse Siphon: Channeling the energy around her, Lux can phase her open hand into an ally like a ghost, and physically extract poison or exorcise a spirit possessing someone, though that would take hours to accomplish and would drain her of her magic very quickly, this type of magic is used to help remove poisonous liquids from the body, which could take seconds or many minutes to accomplish, depending on the severity.
Innocence touch: By placing the palm of her hand on her ally, and by expelling her magic outward, Lux can heal an ally who has been harmed by damage. If she expels more of her magic out, she can heal them faster, at the cost of more magic, or place both hands on her ally to become defenseless, but will allow her to speed up the healing process.
conjuration magic:
Energy blades: Concentrating her will, Lux can summon three energy/plasma glowing longsword blades around her, to act as extra weapons. Upon contact with an enemy, they explode for magic damage, and are easily shatterable by enemies, taking one strike to take down, the upside is that these cost little energy to summon, and can be used to add pressure when combatting an opponent.
force magic:
Frigid Fetter: Aiming her fingertip out, Lux can fire a small orb like iceball from within and attach it to her opponents limbs. If she manages to attach a couple of hese small orb like iceballs to limbs, the ice changes and immediately becomes a pair of shackles to chain the opponent down, slow them, or keep them from attacking, which may last for several seconds, or minutes, depending on the strength of the opponent.
Scarlet Serenade: Humming into herself, and closing her eyes, Lux casts from her body a firey cylone before her, which possesses a low amount of tracking, its main power is its speed, which when it connects to the opponent, burns them alive, lifts them up and explodes, to let the fall deal the rest of the damage she needs to hurt her foes.
God relations: Lady of Air - Finding Lux's wild magic of her manipulation with air impressive with her manipulation of air to control fire, the Lady of Air decided to bestow Lux with some of her magic to help her improve.
Tech:
High-frequency longsword: A steel bladed longsword infused with magic and crafted with technological metals which, on the press of a button, become coated in a powerful electric aura to hurt or stun opponents. The longer she keeps the electricity on, the longer the battery drains, and can last up to 4 hours until it needs to be charged a further 4 hours to use the electricity buff again. Aside from that, it is a durable and fairly sharp blade.
Plasma round shield: An infused round shield which is made of the same material as her sword, this shield however is made of mostly energy/plasma, which is held together by a metalic ring around it. The round shield isn't small but not large either, giving a balance between weight and protection. She is able to throw the shield outward, and with a strong magnetic connection to her wrist, is able to call it back, allowing her to use it like a boomerang.
Data comp: Attached to her arm is a holographic computer allowing her to access information about the climate, the wildlife, and keep her up to date on her ally's vital signitures. She can also use this to check information on the information she has stored or others have helped to store on the system
Possessions/items/property:
A playback video holodisc which continuously plays moments of Lux's childhood with her family.
Book of puns - Someone has to keep them!
Thought recorder - A small journal which she taps on to replay the thoughts that she recorded previously, simply by thinking a date.
Skills:
Swordplay: I think it's pretty understandable by now, Lux is a close up combatant, keeping her sword arm strong, she can deal quick and dexterious strikes with her blade.
Reaction: Using her shield, one has to be quick on their toes, as is Lux, able to use her split second thinking to effectively block strikes thrown at her by opponents. Of course, with split second thinking, that doesn't mean she is a auto-dodge queen, no, she can easily be assaulted if under pressure, if teamed up on, or ambushed, her reaction times just give her a better chance of avoiding damage if possible.
Trustworthy: This plays on her ability to get others to trust her, and is able to persuade individuals to get on her side, to help fight for whats right or to help her in whatever mission she has at the time. It takes a lot to trust someone, for lux, it's not as hard to trust her, having just the right... aura, if you understand?
Okay I have to teach martial Arts for like 2 hours, I need food first so I'm going to jet a little early. Grin SHOULD pass through here again tonight while im gone. I doubt wind will be back until tomorrow so If no one can answer your questions right this second, im PRETTY good about checking in between teaching classes. @The_written_JohnI like the character so far. I have to finish reading but I assure you I will have that taken care of tonight.
Everyone else lurking in here that I havent seen a post from. Hi! Im Merlin. I don't bite, if you have questions even if you don't feel like expressing interest yet or ever you can still ask I dont mind :D I'm looking at you. And if you don't feel like it I won't be offended. Just don't feel the need to be shy. I like new people
And yo, viet, there's nothing wrong with tried-and-true if you think you can pull it off. Trust me. Some of the most fun I've had has come from playing blatant, unrepentant ripoffs of certain characters.
@vietmyke My character literally saved a princess in there background, as long as your character has a quality motive they're probably a good character.
@The_written_John I don't think her Greater Will is represented in her abilities, she doesn't seem much stronger than Abrasax and he has Potent Will.
So you might want to reduce it to Potent, or upgrade the scope of her abilities. Also, if her mother was a "demon" and not a "cambion" then I think she would end up a cambion instead of a chaos scarred.

Nnnooo, id prefer her as chaos scared thank you, her mothr isnt some form of succubi, which is what makes a cambion (succbubi and human), so cambion she is not. And i dont think she classifiess as second generation? Either way, rather keep her as she is.
And if i need to improve or advance her abilities, so be it, i didnt know what was too much, so il add to that in the morning.
@The_written_John This RP isn't based on religious canon, a cambion isn't the child of a succubus in Galendar they're just a second generation demon. My character is a cambion, their father is a pure demon and their mother is another cambion.
As far as I understand, chaos scarred was meant for those with diluted demon ancestry.

Well whatever, the races list says second generation, i dont know if lux classifies as second generation... Cuz tecnically you could apply that to all demon born.
Edit: seriously? So i guess my entire app was pointless then? Dammit..
@The_written_John Well if their mother is a demon I would think that their mother is a first generation demon, her children would be second generation demons, and Lux's children would be third generation demons (unless their father was a 1st gen) which would make her children chaos scarred.
Although, of course, this is mostly a cosmetic discussion and doesn't really effect the character, I was just mentioning it.
(Edit: I haven't read your full history, so I wouldn't say it was pointless, if the chaos scarred part was important I'm sure there's some adjustment that could be done D: )
Name: Theros Leonin Alias/Nickname: Theros of The Way Age: 110 Race: Fae - Gæians
Theros is of a particular breed of Fae known as Gæia. Gæians are commonly mistaken for monsters such as lycanthropes. Gæian is actually the collective term for a group of species sharing both animal and humanoid characteristics; centaurs and Minotaurs fall into this category. Due to the wide range of species, people generally give Gæians in general a wide berth, as while some species are more docile and civilized, others are violent and akin to monsters. Subhuman and Beast-man are often used as derogatory terms to refer to Gæians. Most breeds of Gæians live to around 200-400 years, though the vast majority of breeds mature into adulthood around 15-20. and it is rare to see a Gæian live past 150.
Personality: Typically calm and collected, Theros is mature and reasonable under most circumstances. Rather orderly and somewhat strict, Theros prefers structure and organization to haphazardness and acting on the spur of the moment. Strong willed, and somewhat hardheaded, Theros is often blunt, but not cruel or callous. Expressive and commanding, but not tyrannical, Theros has no issue taking the initiative and portrays many leadership qualities. Stalwart in the face of adversity, Theros isn't easily intimidated and welcomes challenges as a opportunity to better himself. Brave, but fiercely prideful, Theros isn't easy to anger, but is easily susceptible to pricks against his pride and character. A worldly man, and a bit of a cynic, despite possessing a well developed moral compass, Theros will often ignore morality and act in what he believes are in the best interest of himself and his compatriots.
Biography/history: Hailing from the eastern Plains of Irith, Theros was born the second son to the leader of one of the various nomadic Gæian clans. As the son of a Clan leader, Theros lived a rigid childhood, a constant circle of travelling, training, and learning - all revolving around the Clan's warrior-religion, known as "The Way". The Way was known as a path to spirituality through the process of mastering the arts martial. At a young age, the followers of The Way chose a martial school to follow and strive to master. Theros' brother chose to follow The Way of the Staff, Theros chose the Sword. The brothers, both male lions of the clan butt heads often. Their arguments were plenty, and their arguments were loud, at times aggressive. The Clan elders often sought to reconcile the brothers, but their efforts only brought temporary peace before the brothers would be at one another's necks once again.
When he turned 15, he underwent the Trials of the Plains, as all members of the Clan did when they became of age. For the next 3 years, Theros wandered the plains alone, meditating upon and training his craft, relying on his natural instincts and the kindness of other Clans for sustenance when needed. He returned a changed man, and successfully passed a series of martial rites given to him by the Clan elders. His brother returned shortly after he. Many of the Clansmen thought that the trials would soothe the tension between the two brothers. His older brother eventually took the place of their father as the Clan leader, and Theros was to become his right hand.
Theros and his brother continued to have disagreements long into their adult years. The tension between them growing until it reached the breaking point. One fateful day, Theros challenged his brother to a duel to decide the leadership of the clan. The fighting was fierce, but in the end, Theros was defeated, and cast out of the Clan into exile.
Leaving the plains of Irith, Theros stepped into the world of man, where he slowly integrated himself into their society. Theros eventually found himself in Angel's Landing, where he worked for a time as a mercenary, guard, or any occupation that required a physical touch. Eventually, Theros wound up in the employ of the Knights of Star.
Reason for recruitment: Theros joined the Knights of Star as a steady source of income for his needs.
Strength of Will: Potent Magic:
Abjuration
Protection of The Way - A thin shell of magic that coats the user's body. This barrier shields the user and lessens the force of blows- though not completely. Alternatively, it can project a singular plane to stop blows like a typical barrier.
Healing of The Way - A simple spell that reduces fatigue in increases the rate at which wounds heal over time.
Mind of The Way - A spell that clears the user's mind and enhances the brain's processing speed, greatly enhancing the user's reaction time. This spell is rather tiring, and requires an hour of rest/minimal physical exertion per minute used.
Strength of The Way - A spell that increases the user's physical capabilities.
God relations: Theros worships no particular god. Instead, he follows the ideas of The Way, which is more akin to a type of lifestyle than religion.
Tech:
Nanoweave Clothing - The clothing worn by the Clans from the Plains of Irith are often made of strong nanoweave fabricated by techniques and materials known only to them. This makes nanoweave a highly valuable commodity that the Clans often use as trade goods with the outside world. Nanoweave is quite flexible, but provides protection comparable to full plate armor.
Plasmatic Blade - A sword made of high tech metals and superior craftsmanship, this weapon projects an energy edge around the blade, providing the weapon with increased cutting power. For optimum performance, the leading edge, 'pointy end', should be applied to the enemy and thrust into vital regions. This should be repeated as necessary. The weapon's scabbard also serves as its capacitor for recharging.
Force Staff - A rather common mage and militia weapon. Force weapons are fairly easy to make and simple in function. The concept of the weapon revolves around its enchanted orb, and can be attached to a variety of platforms, from topping a staff, to the end of a mace, or cudgel. Upon impact, the orb releases a blast of kinetic energy in a manner that applies crushing or pushing damage on a target. The strength of the energy blast depends on the quality of the orb. Most common quality Force Weapons provide enough force to crack bones- though not necessarily through armor.
Possessions/items/property: Aside form his clothes and his weapons, Theros carries scant little else. He carries a satchel with which he places necessary supplies- water, food, etc, as well as tools for his weapon. Skills:
Swordsmanship - Theros is an adept swordsman, with traditional training stretching all the way back to his cub years. His recent decades in Angel's Landing has also familiarized him with many modern styles of swordsmanship, and Theros has combined several of the different styles he has learned into a single fluid style. He wields his staff in the same way as he wields a bladed weapon. He often serves as a swordplay instructor for many of the new recruits
Unarmed Combat - While never trained in hand to hand combat, given his size, speed, and strength are greater than that of an average human, he can usually handle himself in a fistfight.
Its late and I'm tired, so I'm going to have to clean the rest of this up tomorrow. Here is my character as is so far though.
@The_written_John Well if their mother is a demon I would think that their mother is a first generation demon, her children would be second generation demons, and Lux's children would be third generation demons (unless their father was a 1st gen) which would make her children chaos scarred.

Suppose il just have to put lux down to potent will... and race as cabi-whatever Sigh... :[ now i feel less enthusiastic ^^
Really quick. SO. A Demon. Is anything born of TWO demon parents. A Cambrion, is anything born of ONE demon parent and something else. Even if the other parent is a Cambrion or a Chaos scarred, the child is a Cambrion if it has ONE demon parent (unless the other parent is an Angel but don't ask). A child is a Chaos scarred if ONE of its parents is a Cambrion OR a Chaos scarred. So you can have Chaos scarred orcs, chaos scarred humans, etc. But you are a Cambrion (its actually a technical race) if you have ONE demonic parent. Same for the other two races like this. Angels, and Devils
Also. Will is not always directly related to magic ability. Its related to magical POTENTIAL
@The_written_John We'd have to ask the GM, but I think the will listing in the races section is just their standard strength, you can still be at greater if you're a cambion.
Of course, you could also just change your mother to a cambion and that'd make all her children chaos scarred, if you wanted to be one of them that much.

Guess my apps totaly poinless then, sorry for wasting your time.
