I gotta ask... why Damien? Tim makes so much more sense... *shrug*

Because Tim isn't robin in the new 52 anymore and Damian is going to have a better connection with Raven than Tim ever would.

Which is funny cause Ravager was the only one who liked him when he became a Titan. Knowing our luck, aside from Jason/Red Hood set to appear in the live action films they'll jump straight into Batman having a kid with Talia...

I dig they gave Jaime Reyes a mohawk without his Beetle mask on. The way Beetle's armor looks next to Cyborg's you can tell they were designed by the same person with the amount of similarities. I think in the animated film universe they should update Cyborg's look to what he's got now with more of his arms showing and it being more streamlined.

It seems like this Raven is more new to the Titans or at least she kept her heritage a secret. When you look at it Damian and her have similar problems. They're both expected to be villains and bad, but they both want something else.

I also love it that they used Starfire in this instead of Wonder Girl, it's a great tribute to the famous run the titans.

I like the Wolfman/Perez era Titans, don't get me wrong, but that seems to be what everyone thinks is 'the' Titans team. Without a legacy character like Robin the whole thing would seem off. The original team of Robin, Wondergirl, Kid Flash, Aqualad, and Speedy needs more representation. The more modern Superboy also works well as a Titan since generally the founding five were all sidekicks in some form or fashion.

I'm a weirdo though when it comes to assembling a diverse and perfect team. I've edited my JL line-up for this game like three times now LOL

Did no one enjoy the Dan Jurgens run on Titans? =P

Personally, I'm more excited for the animated adaption of The Killing Joke.

@The Kid Lantern I'll do my best to have a character up for you sometime Sunday.

The thing is the New Titans run is like the Uncanny X-Men, it's the comic that everyone knows the most about and has the most famous members. Everyone who knows the X-men will know Wolverine, Storm, Cyclops and Jean who were members of the X-Men during that run. The New Titans is the most famous run of the team, I do like the original, but the New Teen Titans is just too beloved to simply be put aside, it has one of the best story lines which is the Judas Contract and it also introduced a good number of new members during the run.

The 'One Year Later' arc after Final Crisis introduced something like 48 new Teen Titans in the span of the lost year. Some of those had potential like the new Zatara, Kid Devil, Bombshell, Aquagirl, Mas y Menos were introduced into the cannon, etc...

I'd take those characters over the others introduced in New Teen Titans any day of the week. Kid Wildebeast, Bushido, Golden Eagle...? Red Star was about the only one of any value.

And I did like the Jurgens Titans with the younger Atom. Was even more giddy when during the One Year Later somebody took up a similar suit calling themselves Molecule in the Teen Titans. Too bad he got killed before he could be developed.

I wish power boy didn't die. Also I really hope they have Wendy and Marvin join the titans eventually, it would be a great reintroduction of those two characters

Power Boy was a douche! And when he couldn't have Supergirl he had the female Hawk [of Hawk and Dove] dress up like her in the sack! And what kinda guy has a boob window for himself?!? Left unchecked he would've been the next superpowered rapist, I'm glad they killed him off LOL

I'd just as soon have the Wonder Twins than Marvin and Wendy. Though I liked how when they were introduced they were retconned into being the children of the Calculator.

I hated that aspect of his character and it sickens me how comic creators screw up male characters for that bullshit. I would reintroduce him as a better character and not a walking gender stereotype. God I hate white knight comic writers

To be fair, they introduced him for that sole purpose. The writers knew he wasn't gonna last long and be one of the deaths during that Titans East one-shot. So for the few months he was around, he was the guy they wanted you to hate. I was more shocked that Hawk would want to be with him, let alone dress like Supergirl for him. I could get past the whole Dawn having a sister nobody knew about for two decades, and I thought the all female Hawk & Dove looked awesome the few times we saw them leading up to that Titans East one-shot, but Hawk jumping at the chance for Supergirl's sloppy seconds? Noooooooooo....

which shows how sickeningly misandrist comics are. I hate how male characters are reduced to that crap! Seriously know wonder boys today are screwed up when white knights who will do anything to get laid are in control of these creative outlets and create this sick man-hating culture.

I'm also get really sick and tired of how DC and Marvel have been turning their female villains into role models and reducing male characters to sick gender stereotypes. Power Boy and the misandry behind his creation represents everything wrong with modern comics and the sick neo progressive propaganda behind it. I plan to help put an end to the sick misandry that has taken over the medium when I start writing comics and I plan to give the white knights a taste of their own medicine

If I can break into comics, it's my goal to write them for an All-Ages audience rather than cater to 30-45 year old fanboys. There shouldn't be a line of comics JUST aimed at kids based on the crappy cartoons also aimed at them. The medium was built on nickels and dimes of children in the 30's and 40's, to stray this far away from the kids to the point Ultraman snorts powdered kryptonite like cocaine for power and every other female character is over-sexualized... it's ridiculous.

My son wants to read Superman comics with me, not cartoon/campy Superman comics.

I'm more concerned with the normalization of violence against men in comics and the fact that comics are patronizing women. I don't care about how sexualized male or female characters are, people like visual stimulation, it's normal.

PC culture is killing comics

I'm guessing you've already shown him All-Star Superman? That is hands-down my absolutely favorite thing Superman has ever been in. The DC Animated Universe is a very close second though.

I agree about the PC thing, though in some cases it isn't as bad as others. It bothers me it's mostly 'which character can we make black' in most cases. Lately it's been 'who can we make a female'. Instead of worrying about making a character something they're not, why not focus on the actual minority characters and female characters that already exist?

Static is one character who hasn't got a fair shake in awhile. Hope DC/Milestone fixes that soon...

He likes the DCAU stuff he's seen, he LOVES Young Justice and Teen Titans Go. He's also really into the Lego Batman and Lego Marvel games, which are also all ages. Ultimate Spiderman Web Warriors, Super Hero Squad, and Hulk and the Agents of SMASH are probably his favorite Marvel shows. He enjoyed Spectacular Spiderman as much as I did and once in awhile he'll humor me and watch the 90's Spiderman show and He-Man. For some reason though they've never got around to putting Batman TAS or Superman TAS on Netflix or Hulu.

His first favorite though, was the animated Superman/Shazam flick with the Green Arrow, Spectre, and Jonah Hex shorts at the end. That animated movie made him a HUGE Captain Marvel fan overnight.

@The Kid Lantern I can't remember if there was an All-Star Superman movie but I was referring to the comic of the same name by Grant Morrison.
