"From what little history the first men brought with them to Miras it is believed that The Knights of The Dawn Covenant were brought to the continent by its founder Korimund Ektruin. Originally they were the private army of Ektruin who was the high priest of the pantheon of the old gods. Their original purpose was to serve as a defense against heresy towards the old gods but after The War of The First Era the organization underwent a drastic change in ideology. The head of The Order, Wymund Ildengard, was secretly a follower of a new cult known as The Dawn Covenant. From his place of power Ildengard began to subtly convert The Order to the teachings of The Dawn Covenant. Ildengard was successful and his efforts proved to save The Order as not long after the Kingdom of Farendar itself converted to The Covenant."

Also, are you saying the Templars currently are leaderless? I was kind of expecting for Damien to have 'somebody' to report to now that he is back from the front.

Oh one more thing. I just got home and read your post for Evelyn. If she passed Marco, Teagen, Tabetha, and Kaathe, she would have noticed Damien on the way out, not to mention a very dead, undead horse in the entrance courtyard.

The entire leadership of The Order was murdered in the attack on Starguard. Evelyn was the highest ranking member to survive the attack though there are other Knight captains scattered across the continent, however they are probably unaware of what's happened.

Ah shit I thought the horse dissipated upon Damien's dismounting of it. Alright, after this is settled I'll put something in about that. Also Evelyn probably saw him but was focused on dealing with the current situation. Plus she's not seen Damien prior to his first appearance so she had to reason to order him to follow though you can do so if you wish.

And yeah, Theodore tried to lead his dwarven miscreants into the castle but was caught and now they getting punished...not like that.
