The Academy of Solomon from the outside appeared just a lonely mansion on empty stretch of road. The building was large, massive in fact, Gothic in design. These floors house the students along with the staff who would care for them, however below the house lay the school itself. The halls were coated in hard word, the walls decorated like that of a grand cathedral. Reaching the bottom floor you find stairs descending and halls way with windows either side. Below that floor were monsters captured and trapped down their for Hunter to train against and for testing students. Releasing creatures for the novice hunters to face.

Outside of the building, just behind the tower is a Leyline gate. These lines run across the planet and where they cross magical pools openly. The Academy was built in such a spot. The old gate is activated letting those traveling by Leyline reach the school. As the students enter, papers with their names on them lay along the brick crumbling brick wall by the gate. The older students head to their rooms, their only eighty students taken in a year. The current fourth year class has only forty students in it. Students are divided in to teams are sent on missions together, the school also makes students on them same team share the same dorm hall. The rooms each have two beds, meaning two students to a room.

You have all arrived, the first order of business is to get settled and meet those assigned to your team. By the end of the first month you will chose a team lead. They will act as your representative among the other students and be considered the leader of the group. If you cannot come to an agreement your leader will be picked at random. First years all begin with basic combat, magic, and Hunting courses. Should you die the school will let your family know and add your name and picture to the to the book of the fallen. Graduates receive an amulet with a splinter of the staff of Solomon, allowing them a one time chance to heal their bodies and prevent death of any nature. Normally only about twenty students survive. So settle in and prepare, your first mission comes some time first day. Those who fail or die are sent home a failure.

Despite being only a few hundred of kilometers from home Estelle had already noticed how different England was from her home in continental europe, in her view the different from her home in the sunny fields by the alps to this ever-overcast island was a clear frontier between the life she had been leading to what the future would hold for her, it was the time to forsake what was gentle and to make her body and mind into the same steel that composes a sword...

"My sword right now is a paperboard though" she whispered to herself, interrupting her own introspection and quickly noticing that by now she was already in front of the gate.

She was still not sure if joining the hunters would be smart or not, she was not one to trust others, specially authorities, she could already picture herself being yelled at, yet, it was her chance to develop her power. If there was one thing that frustrated her was wasted potential and the idea of ignoring her mystic side in favor of a simpler life was just so wrong.

With a sigh she took a step forward into the academy, hoping for the best, and maybe a nice bed, a roommate that wasn't too annoying and that the academy's food wasn't made by a englishperson.

James had arrived earlier hoping that being early was a good thing. He was eager, yes; but most of the reason was he was nervous and wanted to get the introductions and first day done. His parents didn't look very sad at his departure, which was worrying, but in any case things couldn't get any worse. Not unless he had to fight something. Then things might have gone downhill.

James had been called a witch hunter from an early age, which wasn't fitting as he had killed very few. His parents would be contracted to have James get kidnapped by the witch, where the boy would proceed to decimate it using magic. This got him transferred to the very academy he was standing in. A famous one, definitely - but not his first choice, but that was how things went in his family. Looking around, there were some people beginning to enter, but none that note worthy. None except a girl around his age entering, looking slightly worried and lost, but receiving some optimism on her face as she entered. Christ things are already looking rough. Where the hell am I supposed to go? he thought, spinning around and scanning the area for a possible sign, but finding none.

'Not a fan of Leyline.'

"Well, you're going to have to get used to it." Li muttered to herself. She was carrying a medium size baggage pack and a big backpack and wearing a medium length black dress over a pair of leggings as well as a pair of knee-height black converse. Black made her feel protected and warm.

The Academy was... Interesting, to say the least. Surely there was more to it than a huge mansion. Probably a couple underground chambers or the like. A lot of the seniors were entering the mansion already and Li figured that asking one of them what she was supposed to do would be the best course of action, yet there were a couple others who stood out to her. They certainly looked as young as Edge, so they were probably new students like herself.

There was a girl and a boy. Naturally, she walked toward the boy (James).

"Hello. Where are new students supposed to go?"

Darlene's father did not even bother to see her off from the airport, not that she expected him to anyways. At least her older brother, Junior, was nice enough to drop her off. Though his goodbye was definitely not pleasant.

"Try not to get killed, bitch," he called out from his pick-up truck.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Thanks for your concern," she shouted back.

She thought about her younger brother, Simon. She already missed him and it has only been an hour since she last saw him. But she was ready to start her journey to prove to her father that she had what it takes to be a hunter like him.

One long flight and cab ride later, she arrives in front of the famous Academy of Solomon. Carrying her luggage in one hand, she entered without hesitation. There were already a couple of people here, but she did not pay too much attention to them. She simply wanted to get into her room and settle down as soon as possible so they can start the entire hoedown as soon as possible. She did not know where to head, but as long as she was going forward it should be fine.

Somehow she was able to figure out where she was supposed to go; thanks to the help of some of the staff on campus. She entered her dorm and saw that she was the first one there. She could not help but wonder who her roommate would be, even though that wasn't too important. She began to unpack her stuff, which wasn't much. All she had was a couple sets of clothes, her trusty ax, and other necessities. She decided to stay in the room until her room mate arrived as she wanted to formally meet them. It was the only the polite thing to do after all.

Alex walked up the steps towards the academy, but stopped and turned around like he heard someone call out to him. He sighed before he continued up the stairs. His Soul Edge was chained and wrapped in cloth on his back and occasionally it twitched. Alex stopped at the stop of the stairs and looked at the academy that looked more like a mansion rather than a school.

“Time to prove to my peers I’m ready to become a member of the Holy cross. I promise I’ll make all of you proud,” Alex said before he took his first steps into the academy. His first trial was already over. His journey started at the doors of the Holy Crosses church where he was given a sort of going away party, but it was more a pray session. From there he trenched all the way to the academy on foot. Venturing through dark forests and braving the elements to finally make it here.

“I don’t need you laughing,” Alex said as though he was talking to someone, but rather when he said this his Weapon on his back twitched. Alex shook his head and continued into the courtyard. Just remember, they’re only voices of evil that will stray you down the path of evil. You’re training has help you block out their noise. Alex thought.

Alex walked over to a large tree and sat under it, still keeping his weapon chained and wrapped in cloth on his back. Each link of the chain looked like a cross and the cloth looked like it had a pattern on it. Should someone unravel the cloth they would see a large silver cross with wings and scriptures written all around the cross in a circular motion. Alex sat down and laid against the tree to rest for a while.

After spinning, and entirely forgetting the reason for doing so, a girl came up and questioned about where new arrivals should go. Looking at her, she seemed kinda out of it. Though James wasn't really one to judge.
"Not gonna lie I'll be damned if I know. I'm still trying to figure it out myself." he replied, looking at her with a look of "What did you really expect from a guy spinning in circles" covered up with "I have no fucking clue..." Then another girl entered, walking straight and talking to a person on the grounds who pointed her in the general direction of where to go.
"I assume we can ask that guy or someone like him and he will let us know. At least, I hope." he said, walking up to the guy and asking where on Earth the new comers were supposed to go. He pointed to an area which was apparently the dorm rooms and James made his way there, gesturing for the girl to come with him.
"Names James by the way. James Ferron. Nice to meet another new comer." he said, trying to make some general conversation with the newer person.

Eisen stepped out of the cab and walked in to the school courtyard. He took a moment to survey the scene before continuing. He decided it was best he go to the witch hunter dorm hall and meet his team immediately. He was not here to make friends, he was here to graduate and bring honor to his family name. He dint know exactly where to go, but he knew he would find his way there. He wanted to keep an eye out for a gym and a library while making his way to the hall. Hunting creatures of darkness was no easy task for a mere human and he knew keeping his body and mind in top shape was key to success. Eisen continued to walk.

Next person to arrive stepped out of the back seat of a rolls Rolls Royce, he was dressed in a white fine suit, chain mail hidden underneath it all. He stepped out, pulling on a pair of smart glasses brushing his blonde hair off to the side. Clipped on to his belt was a sword, the designs on hilt and scabbard were golden and intricate the sword looked new and clean yet old and powerful all at once. The boy retrieved a single bag from inside the car as he turned back and stepped up towards the school.

"My, my David I would think you had date, but we both know that mean some one actually liking you." Another boy called out as he walked up. Edge dressed in black, a long open trench coat. Under that he dressed thick in black frabric with a with lots of pocket, sitting atop his head an old fashion witch hunters hat. A Van Helsing, all of them dressed like that a fear tactic as well as a good way to stay anonymous. Edge Van Helsing made his over the other Descendant, they both began to walk up towards the manor.

David responded. "My family will arrange marriage, I do not need to date. You should really update your look Edward you look so dull in that."

Edge rolled his eyes and as other students kind of stepped back watching the two Hunter. "My look is classic, besides at least I don't look like my mother dressed me up for the first day of school."

The Pendragon decided to strike a nerve. "Well at least my mother is around, Helsing."

The moment the words met his ears, Edge's fist shot towards him. He decked Pendragon in the nose knocking the larger boy back as his hand covered his bloodied nose. "You say one more thing about my mother and I will pump you full of holes. That scabbard my prevent your death but you still feel pain." He snarled and noticed they were kind of being stared at. Edge calmly head up towards the top floors. As he did he spotted Li, he'd seen her earlier on the train, he yelled to her as he climbed the stairs. "All first years go to the top floor, they've got signs up telling you what hall your in." He told her before he vanished up the stairs.

David's nose healed quickly but he stared at the blood stain on his hand cursing that no good brat. Still he knew where to strike to get to him, now he just needed a way to use that. Collecting himself the Pendragon walked upstairs to find his room.

"Hm." Li nodded and followed James, bowing slightly once he introduced himself. "I'm Li Lane. It's nice to meet you too, James Ferron. Are you perh-"

The commotion at the entrance distracted her. Figures, it was Edge. Why was it that she could never meet normal people on trains? They always had to be either violent or antisocial! Li stared at Edge as he walked past and gave her the directions. Once he vanished, Li turned to James and gave him an awkward smile. "I met him on the train."

'Sure you met him on the train, I made you sit next to him, Li.'

"Anyway, let's go." She said as she started walking again toward their hall with James. A moment later she picked the conversation up again. "Which Hunter school are you going to be a part of? You don't look like a Van Helsing or a Pendragon, that's for sure."

Eisen interrupted the two from behind before James could finish. "Excuse me" he said. His words were stern but polite. "I see you two appear to be going to the same hall as me, i take it we will be on the same team. I want to introduce myself. My name is Eisen Torquemada." He extended a hand to shake. Eisens intentions were to figure out his companions quickly as he thought it would make their missions efficient. He was hopping to find those he could trust to do their job and be as hard working as he was.

St Michael gave a look over of the Academy, it certainly wasn't what he had expected. It looked like place where evil stuff could happen, but he wasn't going to leave since the church had wanted to attend and partake in the hunting of demons. With his bag of stuff including his Axe of Truth, Michael walked up the steps and saw other students begin to the enter the academy. He was going to be learning how to become a demon hunter so he thought it would be a good idea to get to know his follow demon hunter trainees.

The rules of the Academy were pretty tough and Michael realized that this would be a sink or swim kind of deal so he would have to fight harder to earn his place among the school. He then saw Edge punch Paragon on the nose and Michael was about to go and break up the fight, but it was over and Edge threatened the student. He would have to keep an eye on the boy in case he got into anymore fights. Barely at school and already there were students getting violent with each other. They certainly weren't trained in The Seven Paths of God, and there quick to violence showed it.

He decided to follow Li and James in the direction they instructed to by Edge. As he walked he listened to them converse and heard Li ask James if he was part of the witch hunter school. He wanted to get in on the conversation, but it would be better to wait and let them converse for a bit. He also was curious to hear which hunting school they would be in. St Michael had his divine axe strapped to his belt now after seeing the show of violence with Edge and Paragon. In case someone attacked him he would be prepared to defend himself.

Another student named Eisen came over and interrupted them to introduce himself. Not too polite this one it, he thought to himself as he still continued to listen to the conversation.

Lilah took a deep, steadying breath. This is it.

She smoothed out her expression and stepped through the door. I'm going to survive, become a hunter, claim the power of a hunter. And then... And then, she honestly didn't know. What did she really want? Revenge? Understanding?

Well, there would be time to figure that out later. For now, she should focus on living.

"Well at least my mother is around, Helsing." That caught her attention. Her lips twisted into a sneer, she couldn't help it. As though a living mother somehow made one inherently superior.

She bit her lip to keep from laughing when the other boy punched the one who had spoken. She listened to his threat and thought that it wouldn't be such a bad thing if he made good on it. She was briefly surprised at herself, but then she thought that perhaps she shouldn't be.

She started up the stairs with a slight zest to her step that hadn't been there before. She still felt alone and threatened, but this might not be so bad in spite of that.

The girl introduced herself as Li, and then spoke about someone she had met on a train. Then which hunter school he would be participating in.
"Not that it's my first choice, but I have been named a Witch Hunter by my family." he replied, still kind of annoyed at how little choice little choice he got in the matter. "And what about you? To me you kinda look like a demon hunter.. Close?" he asked, not particularly interested but still showing some kind of curiosity. "Oh and no, I am not part of any noble family like the Pendragons of the others. Though I was born into a family of powerful mages, if that's something to think brag about." then some guy walked past and pointed James in the general direction of where to go. Ive seen that kid somewhere... Is he that Van Hellsing... Oh christ, it is as well... Fuck he thought as it slowly dawned upon him that he might have to be along side a bastard from a noble family.

After a minute or so lost Estelle finally found some tracks of where her room was going to be, before going on though the sight of a fight caught her attention, mostly because of the name, not exactly what she expected from a school like this, which was both good and bad news. Soon after she was back on her tracks following the flow of students that was forming on the way to the dormitory. For now she preferred to stay quiet and just listen to the others speak, it was the safest option after all first impressions were important and she wanted to plan those properly.

Finally in her room she had the first chance to sit down and relax ever since she left France. Almost collapsing with her luggage on the bed she sighed loudly before stretching out.

"To think this was the place that trained the people who executed my ancestors..." she commented to herself as she examined the room and her belongings "But that is the past, all I have to do is to survive, train and avoid being strange so I don't end up catching unwanted attention. Though with flashy people like that Hellsing boy it will be easy to blend-in"

Darlene was fiddling around with her ax when someone opened the door. She was a bit startled when a guy just walked into the room, and for a moment gripped her ax tightly, in case it was an intruder. But then the guy started to unpack his stuff, completely ignoring her existence entirely. "Co-ed rooming? Really? Well it's not that bad. I've lived with 4 brothers my entire life, but still..." she thought to herself.

"Uh, hello?" she said, trying to get his attention. "I'm guessing you're my roommate?" She ran her fingers through her hair awkwardly. She was not really much of a people person, and was not really expecting a male roommate. He better not try to pull anything while she was asleep or else he will definitely get his arms chopped off. Though she didn't think she would have a problem with him; he looked harmless enough.

"I'm Darlene. Beast Hunter. You?" she asked once she got his attention. She extended her hand towards him, offering to shake his hand.

@karamonnom Eisen was startled by the girl in the room. He knew he had to bunk with a room mate but a girl? He didn't really feel comfortable with this living arrangement. He grew up with old traditions from his family and this was a definite taboo.

She extended her hand and he firmly grabbed it to shake it. "I am Eisen Torquemada, Witch hunter. Please to meet you ma'am. Im sorry to intrude i didn't know that you'd be a... well... girl. Next time i will knock". Eisen tried to judge her character to see how efficient she would be in battle. As far as he could tell, she seemed descent but the true test will be out on a mission. "Where are you from Darlene?". He normally wasn't a talker and would not care for conversation but the awkwardness was to much to bear.

Li looked James over, fixing her gaze on his face in time to pick up on his discomfort when talking about being a Witch Hunter. She filed it under the interesting things to question him on later. Satisfied for the moment, Li nodded at him once he finished speaking and spoke herself. "Yes, I'm a Demon Hunter... Or at least, I'm training to become one."

"As for bragging about it, you could if you wanted to. I don't mind." Li shrugged. Once he looked away from James, she realized they had almost reached their hall. "I'm sorry for cutting the conversation short, James Ferron, but I have to get settled." She said with a polite smile as she wiggled her pack and backpack. A moment later she had vanished into her room and closed the door.

Nobody was there.

Li let out a sigh of relief and set down her stuff. This place was far more crowded and noisy than she was used to and it had been taking a toll on her. She began to unpack her things and get ready for her stay at the Academy.

Having first gone to look around for the library Edge was quickly herded back to the top floor. He walked down to the hall he'd been assigned, most everyone was getting settled. So finding his room he walked looking at the girl who had beat him here. "Hello, Edge Van Helsing. I guess I'm your roommate." He said in much quieter voice, respectful. The boy then began to put his clothes away and began to place books on the shelves. Tomes on all creatures, some were journals and notes his ancestors had taken. "I'm a Monster Hunter, what do you plan to specialize in?" He asked putting last books on the shelf.

Edge then got his violin case placing that on his night stand he took off his hat throwing it on to the doorknob. He finally collapsed back on to his back. "Listen I'm sorry if you saw that fight earlier... Pendragons have a thing against my family and I hate how stuck up he is." He sighed turning on his side to face her. "So you ready for the first mission, I'm hoping we don't have any deaths. Would suck to lose someone on the first day." He said to the girl looking at her, his eyes shifted back to his nightstand then his violin.
