The Academy of Solomon from the outside appeared just a lonely mansion on empty stretch of road. The building was large, massive in fact, Gothic in design. These floors house the students along with the staff who would care for them, however below the house lay the school itself. The halls were coated in hard word, the walls decorated like that of a grand cathedral. Reaching the bottom floor you find stairs descending and halls way with windows either side. Below that floor were monsters captured and trapped down their for Hunter to train against and for testing students. Releasing creatures for the novice hunters to face.
Outside of the building, just behind the tower is a Leyline gate. These lines run across the planet and where they cross magical pools openly. The Academy was built in such a spot. The old gate is activated letting those traveling by Leyline reach the school. As the students enter, papers with their names on them lay along the brick crumbling brick wall by the gate. The older students head to their rooms, their only eighty students taken in a year. The current fourth year class has only forty students in it. Students are divided in to teams are sent on missions together, the school also makes students on them same team share the same dorm hall. The rooms each have two beds, meaning two students to a room.
You have all arrived, the first order of business is to get settled and meet those assigned to your team. By the end of the first month you will chose a team lead. They will act as your representative among the other students and be considered the leader of the group. If you cannot come to an agreement your leader will be picked at random. First years all begin with basic combat, magic, and Hunting courses. Should you die the school will let your family know and add your name and picture to the to the book of the fallen. Graduates receive an amulet with a splinter of the staff of Solomon, allowing them a one time chance to heal their bodies and prevent death of any nature. Normally only about twenty students survive. So settle in and prepare, your first mission comes some time first day. Those who fail or die are sent home a failure.
