This is a quest type roleplay. There is a dictator on the rise and He's trying to take over the country of Kaven. Three or more people meet together but before long they find out about what's going on and head out to find a weapon of power beyond all recognition. You have a choice of three main race, mixing races is a possibility. If you want to play a different race, message me.
Human- They lived their lives in Varen expanding and populating, eventually reaching the other continent of Kaven(though at that time it was only one continent). They believe elves to be mere legends, and figure dwarves to be greedy. Humans tend to be skilled at basic swordplay, but occasionally, there comes one or two extremely skilled swordfighters, although most humans lately are magic users. Humans live a maximum of 107 years
Elves- Regarded as legends by most other Races, they spend their lives in the Forests of Calltraan. Elves are least likely to produce a half-elf as half-breeds are generally looked down upon. Only one or two elves a year leave these large forests and, disguised as humans venture the world. Elves tend to be good at Raged combat, and tend to dabble in magic. Elves live a maximum of 300 years
Dwarves- Dwarves are the main choice of other races as builders. Usually they live in or near mountains especially around the Daltron mountains. Dwarves are probably the only race who know that the elves even exist. Dwarves tend to be good at close combat, with swords and axes. It is highly rumored that Dwarves fear magic, yet in truth they tend to steer clear of it because of as they say 'Nothing beats the value of hard work.' Dwarves live a maximum of 175 years.
The special races are the Koven(Amphibian race, half frog half human), Friitan(Half Scorpian Half human) Savaal(Similar to previous, except part snake), Barbarians(essentially humans who live in the plains, preferring to live a simpler life), or a Straid(Near immortal children of the gods. Responsible for bringing magic to the world).
It would take too long to list all of the races, places, every detail of the world, so if you have any questions, or if you want to play one of the other optional races, message me and I'll answer any questions.
No one is guaranteed to be able to be one of these races. The Straid will be reserved primarily for people I have RPed with, however I will only allow one. First come first served. If you wish to be the Straid, despite this, send me either an excerpt of your ability to RP, or a link to an RP you have been in prior.
Now if you've stuck around, and are interested in joining this RP, I only have a few rules. Well, actually two.
One: Use common sense. If you think something is Godmodding don't do it. If, ooc, you have to stop and think 'Is this rude?' chances are it probably is. Use common sense.
Two: Please post about at least a paragraph. As an RPer, your posts rely on other people's posts, and vice versa. If you can think of details that might seem inconsequential, add it in! It adds detail and a layer of depth to your post.
Three(I hear you calling me a liar): Have fun! This is what RPing is all about. Having fun and creating a story with other people.
And that's pretty much it. If you want to join, fill out a character sheet, and I'll approve it or let you know if you need to change anything as soon as possible. And then all that's left is waiting untill about five people(other than myself) join
