What is the energy output of Fyrurock? Joules per cm^3 or grams.
Pardon me Voltus but I don't think the energ content of Fyrurock was ever the point of that material.
It seems to be highly compressible which makes it easier to carry in large amounts while the incrediary vapors are good for flamethrowers and fuel air bombs.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thermobaric_weapon
These
They're rather potent at destroying buildings because unlike explosions fuel air explosives are like a myriad of mini-explosions spread in a cloud within which they do relatively even damage.
The vapor can also slip through small openings thus for example cause some of the fuel to detonate inside the bunker.
Their longer detonation time also means they strain structures for longer than a regular explosive does.
Basically they are decent bombs. They aren't that notably stronger than regular explosives but their properties make them worthwhile for demolition.

Willy's right about the above. The explosive yield wouldn't be any greater than traditional explosives, say TNT, but the primary thing making it deadlier is the flammability and potential for thermobaric explosives.

Also, on the rocket/missile question, I basically had V2s in the old RP and my sheet still reflects that (and no one objected). So if they're disallowed I will have to change that. Mine are only guided by a simple gyroscope so they have even rougher accuracy, pretty much only able to hit a specific city.

V2s are actually pretty advanced as far as rocketry goes even if they weren't so amazing as weapons.
Though the fact they were literally impossible to intercept by WW2 methods made them downright scary in the political sense.
I suggest limiting them to later game.
With you we have 3 factions of 3 different interests working on their own rocket program so I think it'd be fun if we have a bit of arms race.

You don't need rockets, just use lots and lots of fireworks

Fine, have your rockets, just wait for mine to fly over the ocean and smash all of you with chlorine gas and incendiary bombs.

Gnomish chemists actively research chemical agents and such in the Commonwealth. Is any other nation even mentioned to be pursuing chemical weapons, much less willing to use or produce them?

Well, some of my exports are chemicals and chemicals are really easy to use/make, so I'd probably have a stock of chlorine shells and mustard gas somewhere. But I'd be hesitant to use them unless I really, really despise someone, like the rare northern rebels.

Please tell me you don't put Fuso under the "northern rebel" tab D:

My original NS said that Yllendthyr has good chemical industry. i don't wish to be on par with nations who are notably the "best" in the field but we do keep up. Or specialty is rather engines, jets and rockets. Elves love the speed and their religion would be pleased if the gain the capability to reach the stars.
And for some reason I thought your nation would rather hunt the Gnomes and put them into camps.

The reason that the Commonwealth is so heavily mechanized, industrialized, and technologically advanced is because Qualia had a large gnomish and dwarven population. Despite being in the empire's heartlands, Qualia is mostly highland and desert and so it was kind of a frontier province where all the outcasts clustered together. They essentially started the Industrial Revolution that allowed Qualia to grow, otherwise Kataylabinsk would have probably retaken all the southern regions ocne the Holy Moravian Empire collapsed.

So essentially, dwarves and gnomes are too intertwined with the Commonwealth's history, not to mention that they still prove useful and have a disproportionate amount of political power considering that they are vastly outnumbered by humans.

Make no mistake, "lesser" races like trolls would probably end up in work camps or systematically exterminated if the Commonwealth found itself having to deal with them.

Don't worry, I'm sure that Voltus will let you in.

That middle continent on the map is still pretty empty.

Um, the middle continent on the map is essentially Africa.
We have plenty of place on the main continent, actually.

So? It strikes me as odd that we have zero nations that were former colonies.

Louis Dabout also has a nation looking lonely over there.

@Araby264 but by no means feel pressured to go over to that continent; I'm just making a suggestion.

My nation was formally a colony of Yllendthyr it is mentioned multiple times in my sheet :/ That was why I originally went for Usea until we where told to go for smaller claims.
