Name: Kreech, Squirrel Champion
Age: 19
Race: Squirrel
History: Kreech had always been an ambitious boy. He loved reading books about history and wondered what it would take to get into one of those. He was one of those squirrels that would always sneak out and watch the humans, learning their tactics and techniques. But he never imagined that he would be one of his people’s greatest heroes. When Dee gave him a magic nut that gave him the ability to control beasts, he wrought such havoc on the humans. After the negotiations between man and squirrel broke down, he was one of the few squirrels brave enough to face humans openly on the battlefield. His personal combat ability and his control of the beasts was unrivaled, and thus he became the champion of Chaosera. When the planeswalker spark came to him, he was absolutely thrilled at the prospect of even greater adventure and greater glory than he had ever imagined. He knew his people would be fine in the end, so he bid them adieu and moved on to greater things.
Personality: Always eager for glory in all of its forms and a bit hyperactive. Despite his ferocity in battle, he is actually quite friendly towards those who have not been deemed an enemy. He loves festivities and will be the first to crash a party, but this is balanced out by his more studious side. He has a very loose sense of morality, and would probably ignore a pickpocket so long as it’s not
his pocket. He sees the beasts he uses in combat as tools, and has no qualms eating “human food” (meat).
Appearance: The magic nut has made him and is people a solid 2 and a half feet tall, far mightier than a typical squirrel.
Abilities: Green. +1: Gain control of target beast. If you control all beasts on the battlefield, you may put a 2/2 green beast token into play instead. -1: Target beast gains double strike. -14: Beasts you control gain haste and annihilator 2 until end of turn.

Name: Chaosera
Dominant Races: Squirrels and Humans
Lore: There was a time when men could walk the lush forests and vast plains of Chaosera with little fear. After all, man had been blessed with sentience, and where they could not beat the wild predators in strength, they could out wit and out maneuver them with their minds. However, men were not the only creatures to happen upon sentience. Those tiny tree dwellers, seen by men as insignificant both in mind and in stature, were more than they let men believe. Indeed, the squirrels were just as adept in their minds as were the humans, elves, and other races of men that walked their world. But they kept their true nature hidden for fear that they would be hunted and enslaved if men knew what they were capable of.
Then the blessing came. A young squirrel named Dee found a tree deep underground. This tree bore a nut that looked much like a normal acorn, but upon sinking his teeth into it he changed. He felt energy coursing through his body, became taller, faster, stronger. But, more remarkably, he could hear the voices of the beasts around him; he could speak back to them; he could
command them. And so Dee brought these nuts to his people, and the squirrels gained a power that far surpassed anything the men of his world were capable of.
Thus, the Beast Wars began. The voracious monsters that humans had learned to dispatch with ease were now coordinated and organized. They became twice as savage and were granted unnatural strength through the power of the squirrels’ voices. Time and time again the men were thwarted, not understanding why, until Dee revealed himself and his people. The squirrels’ demands were simple: a substantial territory of their own where men would not tread without permission. The negotiations failed, and the wars rage on to this day.
Appearance: Chaosera consists mostly of lush forests and vast expansive plains. There are a few small mountain ranges, but those are covered in forests. Men have built several cities for themselves into the plains, and have carved many smaller settlements into the forests. The squirrels have learned to burrow into underground caverns. They seem to disappear as they run up trees, because they in fact
do. They magically conceal small holes in their trees, which tunnel down into the ground and into their vast underground cities.
Alternate Timelines: Squirrel Paradise – in this timeline, the negotiations went over successfully, and men and Squirrels coexist together peacefully, benefiting from one another’s technology and beast control.
