Name: Director-General Emily McAllister
Age: 48
Faction (if any): : New Order SIS
Gender: Female
Appearance: She has had a lot of treatments to make herself look younger, to the point that her and her daughter are thought to be near-identical siblings.
Nationality: English
Personality: McAllister is often pleasant and helpful to almost anyone she meets. She is happy to take advice from anyone that will give it…at least, when she needs to. Deep down, she is a borderline sociopath, who would happily burn an entire district if it would further her goals. She never talks or interacts with anyone without weighing in her head how they can be manipulated for her own personal gain. The only person she has ever known to care about is her daughter. And even then, said daughter keeps her distance from her mother. During combat, she is completely sadistic, liking to shoot her opponents in non-immediately fatal areas and watch them bleed out. She likes to kill anything that might threaten her (friend or foe) and cover it up later, something she is very good at. She also acts quite kindly towards her most trusted subordinates, making sure that they are completely loyal to her. It is unknown to anyone but herself if this kindness is genuine or not.
Equipment: A five-seven handgun, loaded with hollow-point rounds. She usually prefers to kill with her bare hands however, usually snapping necks or ripping eyes out.
Skills: Emily has an IQ of 215, making her one of the best tactical minds in the entire world. She is an expert and manipulation of both her enemies and allies, and is famed for being able to read how to turn a situation to her advantage with just a thought. She rose to her position from a simple private, and she hasn’t forgotten all her military training. She was trained as a close assault specialist and is an expert in several martial arts and guerrilla warfare. She is also capable of solo piloting her personal emperor-class transport, the “Hyperion”, although she requires several other personnel to operate its weapons systems. She also has considerable influence in the high council, with four of its seventeen members being in her pocket. She has been shortlisted for a place on the council herself.
History: Emily McAllister was born to the mistress of a small settlement’s overseer in the south of the city. She was never intended to be born, and was shunned by her father shortly after her birth, and her mother was neglectful at best and violently abusive at worst. When she was sixteen, she ran away from home after finding her mother intended to sell her into prostitution, and joined the New Order military as a private, swearing that she would rise from her lowly birth and do so much more.
She trained both her body and mind day and night, shunning the company of other soldiers. On her first mission, she showed visible sadism in gunning down several smugglers whom she had been ordered to take in alive. When she was brought before her commanding officer, she revealed to him that she knew about a illegal operation headed by him to sell surplus military stock to the lost. She blackmailed him with this information, and was a sergeant by the time she was nineteen.
She still continued to find dirt on everyone who mattered in her regiment, until one of her superiors wised up and moved her to the SIS (New Order special intelligence and logistics section) in an attempt to keep her away and not risk the affairs of any officers coming to light.
This was…a bad idea, as she continued to manipulate her way to the top of the ladder. She married when she was 25 to an equally power hungry SIS officer, and had two children, Juno and Simon. This didn’t stop her ambitions in the slightest, and during the Utopia rebellion, a scandal hit the SIS when it was revealed to the public that many of their agents had staged a mass defection to Utopia. The current director-general commited suicide rather than be put on trial for incompetence, Emily saw her chance and took control of the humiliated remnants.
She used her leverage to take control of several Special Forces units and launched vicious pre-emptive strikes on Utopia strongholds, capturing their leaders and executing them on live television by either firing squad or hanging. The psychological warfare she used terrified the Utopia personnel to the point that by simply hearing that the Director-General was turning her gaze to them, would be enough to cause their group to disband and quit fighting for Utopia altogether. Her efforts, coupled with the humiliation Utopia suffered after their murder of a child, all but fragmented Utopia into smaller, weaker groups, which it remains to this day. For the last few years, she has been relatively relaxed, leaving the control of the SIS to her surbordinates.
Other: After the defeat of Utopia, she took a small detachment of her closest officers (now known as the inner circle) to her hometown, where she proceeded to find her mother and father (whom was still the settlements overseer) and beat them both to death with her bare hands in the middle of the street in broad daylight. For the simple reason that she knew she could cover it up. Since then, said officers have been completely loyal to her.
No one, not even the inner circle or her daughter, knows exactly what happened to her husband. She dounst tell anyone, although whenever the subject is brought up, she is seen to smile slightly.
