With a smile, she looked up at the man and grinned, unfazed by the contrast of warm and cold around them. She said nothing, merely smiling at him and waiting for a reaction of some kind.

She's 19 and could have tugged the sleeve of: A 72 year old mantis-man, a 99 year old dwarf, or a 48 year old dreamwalker who possibly has hypothermia. None of those are couples I would think about shipping. And I'm not just saying that because I ship Jacoby and Marianne. Why would even think that's the reason?
