[IC] Seven Deadly Sins: Rebirth

She was standing around taking in the surroundings of the area and being slightly freaked out by all the scarecrows. She sighs "Fine, but im going alone" She puts her hands behind her head as she walks off into the distance to explore

Gravios shook his head at Dana's declaration of independence. Honestly any of the other sins would've been better off on their own. Oh well, he doubted the girl would listen to him, no respect for the elderly these days. Still he called out, "Be careful." to her as she left to conduct her own investigation. "Good job kid, lets go follow those footprints." he said cheerily as he slowly followed after Grod.

"Kid?" Grod thought before going into the house to explore the house,Once inside it was quite empty no one seemed to be inside of the house for what seems like a few days.Grod was now inside of the foyer of the house looking though the near by drawer checking if their was anything inside,"Nothing..." He muttered closing the drawer and was now heading into the empty living room.

[Rex]

Alex watched everyone split up before he walked over to one of the scarecrows. From a far it looked like a normal scarecrow, but up close it was much more disturbing to Alex. It looked almost human to him and it didn’t help that the scarecrow smelled.

“Geez, the hay in this thing must be moldy or something,” Alex coughed as he waved his hand in front of his face to get rid of the smell. Suddenly a sickle burst from the scarecrows right hand and swung at Alex. He quickly jumped back from the attack, but the sickle caught the end of his shirt and ripped it. Alex watched as the rest of the scarecrows came to life as sickles ripped out of their hands. Alex took out his panic sword and readied himself for the scarecrows attack.

“So these things attacked the villagers and waited for travelers to come so they could attack them as well,” Alex said as he looked around at the scarecrows surrounding him.

“Not the best detective are you,” a voice said as a man in a black suit appeared in the crowd of scarecrows. The man smiled as he walked over to one of the scarecrows and ripped open its chest. The sight inside made Alex vomit. The man smiled at Alex’s reaction and said, “These scarecrows are the villagers.” Inside the chest of the scarecrow was a ribcage with some of the flesh still hanging from the bone. Inside the ribcage was the still beating heart of the villager, the left lung, half a kidney, and a pile of entrails at the bottom.

“What did you do to the villagers?” Alex asked.
“Nothing much,” the man said as he patted a much smaller scarecrow on the head and added, “I’ve added them to the family.”

Gravios's ear twitched at the distinct sound of tearing cloth. He turned around in time to see a scarecrow swing an obviously old sickle at him. He easily knocked the crude weapon out of the scarecrows hand with a sigh of distaste. "I guess these things really don't have a brain." he said skeptically as he viewed the awkward abomination. It attempted to tackle him and as it passed through his body harmlessly Gravios wrinkled his nose, he had been assailed by the quite clear stench of rotted human.

A smell he was unfortunately rather familiar with. He pinned the scarecrow to the ground by strategically stabbing its spine with his stick, preventing it from moving and called out to Grod. "Oh Grod, it seems we have guests. I do know how you love hitting things so you might find it worth while to come outside. Though by all means continue your investigation if you must." He said calmly as he viewed the scarecrows feeble struggling. Strange creature, he was reluctant to kill it but with its aggressive tendencies he could likely learn little from it. Oh well, maybe if he held it down long enough something would happen. Perhaps they could speak given enough time.

"Mhm that sounds like something i can do...but if ya can boss keep him in place i wonder if he's gonna tell us something useful" Grod smiled walking out of the building and outside pulling out two bone swords form his body running at one of the scarecrows that were attacking his comrades.

His started to cut in half a few of them while decapitating a few more,"Is that all you have?YOU CANNOT BEAT ME A GOD!!!" He laughed cutting one of the scarecrows attacking Alex.

Kallen would rush out at the sound of battle and look around noticing the hostile creatures attacking, he'd seem to get angry when he realizes what they are and suddenly has a boomerange like blade in his hand and throws it at the creatures.. the blade returning after a certain distance.

[Rex]

Alex cut down one of the scarecrows before he ran towards the man controlling them. He smiled as he easily dodged Alex’s sword before two scarecrows jumped in front of Alex’s sword and took the blunt of the attack.

“Bastard! Stop hiding behind dead bodies and fight like a true warrior!” Alex yelled.

“Dead bodies? What kind of artist do you take me for?” the man protested before he explained, “I like to use living beings to make my dolls. Should they die in the proses? Oh well, as long as the doll is made with a living, breathing being. I could care less and by the way, I’m not a bastard. The names Victor.”

“You, you made them this way while they were alive,” Alex questioned in disgust. His hand tightened around his weapons handle before he threw it into the air. He suddenly took the other two swords and also threw them into the air. The fell towards Alex before stopping above him. he glared at Victor before he yelled, “You mutilated innocent people for your own pleasure. You’re worse than any demon I’ve faced!” his blades flew towards Victor who just smiled and raised his right hand up. the blades suddenly stopped.

“I should tell you why I don’t care if my dolls are alive after I’ve created them,” victor said as he snapped his fingers and Alex’s blades spun around and faced him. Alex stood there in shock as Victor continued, “I can’t control them if they’re alive. I’m only allowed to control non-living creatures.” Victor snapped his fingers and the blades raced towards Alex who quickly used his magic to gain control of his own blades.

“My army of dolls will wipe out this pathetic world and I’ll replace all the retched humans with dolls,” Victor explained with a chestier cat grin on his face.

Gravios waited a moment longing before stabbing the creature's head destroying it. It seemed they weren't very intelligent. He casually walked outside to see Grod fighting more of the creatures, tutting softly to himself he made his way back to the center of the square, finding Alex fighting both scarecrows and some stranger. "Need some help there?" Gravios asked as he calmly walked up behind Alex. "It seems like your friend there isn't playing nice." he said calmly and waited to see the stranger's next move.

Grod kept stabbing and slicing the scarecrows in two feeling amazing,The feeling of battling a foe always makes him feel alive although fighting a weak opponents like the scarecrows made him feel not that good since they are not much of a challenge for him to fight.Grod's was hacking and slashing away laughing to himself enjoying himself for the most part.

Grod was now helping out with the scarecrows around Alex and Gravios.

Kallen was charging out catching his blade... as it turns into a huge broad sword that a normal person couldn't wield let alone one handed, charging straight at Victor. cleaving anything in his way with a single swing and tries to come down ontop of victor.

[Rex]

Victor smiled before a human sized Venus fly trap rose up from the ground and suddenly screamed like a lobster being placed in boiling hot water as Kallen’s sword pierced into his body. Green liquid spewed from its wound before it fell to the ground and wilted.

“Making friends already?” a woman asked as she sat on top of one of the houses. She had on a white dress, white slipper looking shoes, and a massive snake tattoo that went from right ankle up her dress, through her cleavage, and ended at her left wrist with the snake mouth open, ready to swallow her hand.

“I thought I smelled a mold,” Victor said before he turned to her and added, “What in the world are you doing here Viper?” Viper shrugged and jumped down from the roof. A large flower rose from the ground and caught here before she hit the ground. She hoped off the plant as it wilted away.

“I was told to come here and get you. Boss hates waiting while you play with your dolls,” Viper said with a sly smile. He forked tongue flickered from her mouth.

“I’m on the middle of something right now, can’t he wait?” Victor asked. Alex saw his chance and ran towards Victor and Viper with his three blades floating around his body. He shot all three blades at both Viper and Victor. However, before they could connect, a wall of vines blasted out of the ground and blocked the three blades.

“Do you mind, we’re having a conversation,” Viper sighed as the wall of vines wilted away. There was a large shadow across the ground before a massive mummified crow landed next to both Viper and Victor. On its back was a large sarcophagus. A small child around the age of 10 slid down the side of the bird and fell flat on her face before she got up and smiled.

“Boss wants you two back at the HQ, he’s super pissed at you Victor for making him wait,” the girl said.
Victor sighed before he said, “I know Alice, Viper already told me.”

“Then why did you make me repeat what you already knew you big meanie!” Alice yelled as she puffed out her cheeks in anger.

“Never mind that, just surround us so we can get away,” Viper said as she walked towards the mummified crow. Alice nodded before she skipped towards the bird as well. Alex was about to run after them when the ground ruse up like a trap door and a human sized spider launched from the ground and took one of the scarecrows in its mouth. However, the body was a spider, but the head was of a cat with Spider fangs on the sides of the cat’s mouth.

“Don’t get any ideas,” Viper said as she climbed into the sarcophagus.

“Oh please, with you, I’d have a better time with Alice’s trap door spider cats,” Victor said before he climbed in as well and the sarcophagus closed. Alice climbed up the side of the crow before it flew away.

“Get back here,” Alex yelled before the scarecrows suddenly bursted into flames.

Kallen would pull his blade from the venus fly trap annoyed then rush to Alex's side and put his hand on his shoulder "calm yourself" he says looking at the flaming scarecrows and the big trap door spider cat "we have more important matters to deal with than them at the moment" he states "besides if any of the other sins that wasn't here for the fight have any kind of a head they'll already be chasing them for us, if we'll lucky they wont do anything stupid and simply track them" he states "we need to clean up things here first" he says as his blade changes again as it becomes a whip blade, a sword that can extend itself and slash around like a whip of blades, then uses the whip blade to take out the bottom of a lot of the flaming scarecrows to reduce how dangerious they are. Just because they was on fire didn't mean they was finished. then he would turn his attention to the spider cat as the whip retracts back "lets see how are we going to deal with this big boy" he says "maybe Grod and I should have a bit of fun" he chuckles.

Gravios simply sighed and shook his head thoughtfully. "No manner's these days, back in my day we didn't half commit to fights ready to ran off and dally because some other matter came up. It was to to the death!. Oh well, I don't suppose any of us are fast enough to keep up with them?" he asked quietly to himself, those it was more of idle speculating then an actual question. If any the scarecrows attempted to attack him he would simply phase through them as he continued thinking idly.

[Rex]

“I can’t calm down Kallen,” Alex said as the burning scarecrows fell flat on the ground into ash and the Trap Door Spider cats seemed to just disappear into the ground. Alex turned to Kallen and explained, “I’ve seen those three before. All three of them went missing when the demons attacked a small village a few months ago. I saw they’re missing posters.” Alex began to pace back and forth trying to figure out why they appeared now.

“why would the demons take people, only to let them go. None of them were Holy Knights. So why let them,” Alex said before the realization kicked in and he turned to the rest of the group and said, “They’re creating human, demon hybrids. None of those three had any magical ability and now they just show up with abilities. They’re creating an army of Holy Knight themselves. However, they’re more like Demonic Knights.”

Gravios sighed. "Well I guess we have to take care of this" He grumbled quietly. "Well Alex lead on, you seem to have some knowledge of them, where do you think they went?" Ah all the monster had vanished and it was eerily peaceful. How very pleasant. He couldn't wait to get home and take a nap. Gravios liked a good excursion as much as the next man but when your enemies ran it was no fun.

"Should we keep searching and see if their is any survivors?" Grod asked finishing up by cutting one of the scarecrows in two,The buff man moving closer to his comrades breathing deeply.He took a few more deep breaths looking around seeing just in case more of the scarecorws were going to pop out and attack them.
