Woman who has tried all her life to be as obstinately normal as possible, but developed paranormal abilities

Kinda unstable as a result, driven into the Vigil by those circumstances

Sadly, my male characters tend to be pretty dull. So I usually play as a female.

I don't mind it, just weird to me. In my other RP community, there were a lot of male and barely any females.

I think a game should have a balance in terms of gender, but anyone can play who they want.

Or an abrupt pig. Think the only male character I had that enjoyed was one for a supernatural rp that had a witch ex girlfriend that held him captive through a spell, so I could focus that anger on witches in general.

Honestly, I'd prefer to avoid for the moment, especially as the Vigil is trying to keep it relatively covert. That's not ruling it out for later.

I was thinking of directly playing off the quote; not quite sure what his powers or abilities would be, but I was thinking my character could recharge his "power core" as it were by draining the bioelectrical chemical reactions that occur in the human body in order to boost his power in an emergency. Making him an entirely different sort of "vampire" as it were.

Thoughts?

Edit: When I refer to power core, moreso referring to his biohardware. Not an actual vamp, daywalker, or that nonsense.

Well, the quote is woven into the plot anyway, and I'm not sure about a pro-human organization designing a tech that explicitly victimizes humanity.

Sacrafice one to save many. At what point does the protection of the world warrant the deaths of a few innocents?

At the end of the day, simply tried to play off the rp theme. If not humans, why not the vamps themselves? Drain their bioelectrical charges. Turn off the lights. Maybe it's tech based off the vampires own sanguine chenistry. Bit of delicious irony to have their own bodily functions betray them.

Look, I'm gonna be honest here: I'm really just looking for this so I can write a scene in which I can plunge a fist into somethings chest, have their death rev his hardware back online as they die, and then open a can of whoopass.

Finally got a character concept down I like. I am leaning towards a Face/Combat route, basically being that Face type that is more out there rather than behind the scenes.
