I think we should let the pre-battle development take its course and not rush into the missions immediately.

Well yeah, that's my point, I'm just saying what I'm plotting though. I'll give you guys like, a week to do some stuff, then we'll start the combat. Don't worry though, right now I think I'll also allow some 'pre-mission' dialogue and events. Y'know, the PC's can talk while they're in transit.

I think despite it being two days, I think I’d oppose rushing off to the next day. Events could still happen and I’d hate for us to railroad into the combat aspect so quickly.

I will be working on a post tonight, anyway.

Please define "fast forward" then. Because I do not see the disadvantages of quickly going to the morning of the day of the first mission in the queue(before anyone actually heads out). Unless of course someone was planning to make a post before that, but didn't have enough time yet.

I quite agree. Skipping downtime prevents an rp from going stale due to lack of plot advancement.

I don't disagree with you, but haphazardly progressing time has the same result. I remember reading the OOC of the old thread with that exactly being an issue.
