I'd just like to say, the dagger never pierced Fei at all. It's just lightly pressed against her skin, no actual harm whatsoever. It's like if someone pressed the flat of the knife against her.

Considering how deadly some people's bodies are, I would consider an icicle knife far less of a weapon than many people's hands. How does the special dealy know, if not by whether the action will deal damage? It's not intent, because that would have noticed the weapon was not going to hurt.

Is it based on appearances? What looks threatening?

Guys, to explain this in the simplest of turns, Fei made a Deal with Devil to overcome the trials posed by Emilia. This deal is now restricting her future options in life so long as it is not fulfilled.

It was an Opportunity Cost. Fei choose the easy way through one issue, and is now forced onto another path as a consequence. The matter is decided.

Can I just say that the deal of Jester's deal is that, it works or not (and how well it works) is all based on what is most amusing for him? Like Lone said, Fei made the choice for the easy way out previously but, you know that these choices always come to bite you back eventually.

Let's not talk about the catch 22 of which the Jester was aware at when he proposed it in first place. Fei is still has much of an uphill climb to do. And we love to see her reactions along the way.

Could the Green Relic affect the earth itself? Like tunneling underground for a quick escape. That would be Chen's plan, create a storm of leaves to obscure vision, grab Sí after tunneling underground and then get out of there. Meihou too if he believed he could.

It shouldn't. The power of that relic isn't related to earth manipulation. There's another one out there that's supposed to do that.

True, true. Also, that last post marked the perfect turning point for Shattering to move out of the development stage and reach for conclusion. I have some ideas that I just thought after reading it that must be discussed in less public channels.

Either way, if all goes right, we can finally have a RP with a conclusion in time to enjoy Christmas. I'm sincerely thrilled by the idea of it.

The specific functions of the Green Relic are this: "This Relic grants the user accelerated regeneration in all forms, be it health, stamina, magic, and the like. It gives the user twin whip-blades."

The "earth manipulation" was just Chen healing the earth to the point of accelerated growth. Hence all the plants he could control.

Also keep in mind that we had Chen captured for a reason. As KoL said, the story of this RP is looking like it will come to a close soon. Obviously not now, but soon. If Chen escapes and separates from the group, there's really not much else for him to do in the RP. The point of the collab in capturing the rebels was to put everyone in one place so as to better move us along in one scene as opposed to moving people around in different scenes/locations.
