Well of course, he's a psycho ninja. Ninja villains, as Wise Sensei Hollywood teaches us, deal only in edges. Righteous, righteous, edges, often with very little regard for the things ninjas actually did. Like, y'know, spying, sneaking around, avoiding conflict... Strategizing...

Of course, if he'd rather do the vampire thing in Native American form, he could be a Wendigo, which has more or less the same powers, but with a noticeably more diverse diet. Or, if he wanted to go further south, he could be an Aswang, which is pretty much a typical vampire but lunar-powered and sometimes cut in half. Or, speaking of Natve American myths south of the border, he could go full Camazotz... But we already have an insane vampire god on the team... Either way, they're monsters and not ethnicity-specific, so he could avoid stereotypes while aligning himself with the mythology and culture somewhat.

The best way to avoid stereotyping something is to look up a culture on google, read from a reliable source, and then imagine what it'd be like to be of that culture. Then mix-and-match personality traits to make sure you're staying well away from Tonto from the Lone Ranger, and you'll be fine and nobody'll be offended. Don't be afraid of writing about a Native American, avoid Political incorrectness, and you'll be fine. As a human, you have a lot more in common with people of other cultures than you might think. It's just the same getting over the 'Girl Hurdle' with most male writers. Girls are much the same as male characters, they just have different concerns and nuances. It's an offensive stereotype to use "Girl" as a personality trait (Read: most interpretations of Amy from the Sonic games, because I doubt Team Sonic has ever talked to one in their lives. OHOHO!) but as long as they're a girl and more than that, they're perfectly fine. Mr. Miyagi is an Asian who speaks in broken English, knows Karate, and odd folk medicine, and that would normally be an offensive stereotype on its own, but he's more than a wise old martial-arts-slinging hermit, he's a car repair man, he's a Vietnam vet, he had a wife and possibly children, and a legitimate personality.

TL;DR: It's not hard to avoid stereotyping Native Americans if there's more to their character than "Native American", and given that she's a bongy Geisha with tentacle powers anyway, I'm pretty sure you're in the clear here... I know you've already done your CS, just don't let the fear of doing wrong hold you back, because it's highly unlikely that you'll actually do wrong, unless you let Tumblr share its opinion on the matter, in which case most people are Klansmen.
