Well of course, he's a psycho ninja. Ninja villains, as Wise Sensei Hollywood teaches us, deal only in edges. Righteous, righteous, edges, often with very little regard for the things ninjas actually did. Like, y'know, spying, sneaking around, avoiding conflict... Strategizing...
Of course, if he'd rather do the vampire thing in Native American form, he could be a Wendigo, which has more or less the same powers, but with a noticeably more diverse diet. Or, if he wanted to go further south, he could be an Aswang, which is pretty much a typical vampire but lunar-powered and sometimes cut in half. Or, speaking of Natve American myths south of the border, he could go full Camazotz... But we already have an insane vampire god on the team... Either way, they're monsters and not ethnicity-specific, so he could avoid stereotypes while aligning himself with the mythology and culture somewhat.
