Reaching under his shirt Kenta grabbed the bandages that were wrapped around his torso. He threw them on the ground before snapping and healing his wound instantly. Letting his arm drop he continued walking forward. He put his left hand up to his head wincing slightly. He had no idea what the fuck was going on but…He knew that woman!
From where and how were the questions he needed answers too. He figured during the time of the experiments, it was the most logical choice but he just couldn’t connect the memories clearly. He stopped in his tracks sensing someone in the immediate area. What a coincidence as Hikari and Himeko stepped into the clearing. “Kenta? What are you doing out here?” Hikari asked as he walked up to him.
“Let’s just say I was getting information about my capture,” Kenta replied, “Which brings to my question, what do you know about The Five Sicario exactly? I remember a brief mention of them when we met back up…”
Hikari looked back at Himeko who was standing near a tree looking at Kenta, Hikari looked back at Kenta. “Well we know that they’re ex-Shinigami living far off, they have a fair amount of people working under them as well. They seem to be hitmen of sorts. I guess they’ve been hidden from the Gotei 13 for a while because they are breaking the law with what they do and are continuing to do so. No one has caught them yet. As you know some time ago a hit was put on me, somehow they knew my two biggest weaknesses at the time too. Himeko and I are actually heading to them now, we have business to settle. Why do you ask?”
“Because I was just told my capture was related to them,” Kenta said as he crossed his arms, “Which now makes me think that that clone was sent as a spy of sorts, how else would they have gotten that information?”
“Good point, but I only spoke with that clone sometimes,” Hikari mumbled as he rubbed the back of his head, “But we will get answers, soon.”
“There’s something else. Apparently a Shinrai was involved in all of this too,” Kenta said, “Maybe you can piece that together with something.”
“Last Shinrai that wanted to kill me was my elder, and I killed him before any of this went down,” Hikari replied, “Last Shinrai I talked to besides you and Himeko was my father who helped me with my hollow training, and then he disappeared. I doubt he’s behind it though.”
“Then there’s another Shinrai in the works,” Kenta said, “I don’t think Sato would do such a thing, he seemed upset about the clan being wiped out.”
“Well no use in making theories, we’re going to go get answers today,” Hikari said before turning to Himeko and walking off. Kenta looked back and forth before following.
-
“This place is really somethin’,” Kenta commented as he blocked his eyes to stop sand from entering them, “There’s so much here!” They were all now located in a rocky area where sand flew around everywhere blocking the view of everything for a few miles and even feet, there was literally nothing they could see except each other. Himeko stated that the sand was used to hide their location from the Gotei 13 or any others who opposed them which is why it seemed like nothing, and although Kenta knew Himeko knew this place well, he was convinced that they were probably lost…That was until they came across a large hole that Himeko stopped at in which her stopping caused the other two to stop walking. They both looked down the whole raising an eyebrow in unison, a spiral walkway led down to a village they could hardly see from which they stood.
“Before anymore smart remarks,” Himeko said as she glared at Hikari and Kenta who was talking about being lost every two minutes, she then looked back down the hole, “It’s still hidden! Without me navigating you’d really be lost, as anyone who doesn’t know the area. And if they somehow did come across this place then it’d be them dropping to their deaths because they didn’t have anyone stopping them from falling.”
Without giving the two a chance to reply Himeko jumped down landing nearby on one of the rocky parts sticking out. She then began walking down the spiral walkway leading to the village. She knew Hikari and Kenta followed right behind her. Once down in the village they would realize it didn’t span only to the size of the hole but much bigger. It looked like any other village, just with fewer children. There were just older people. There were two large towers that seemed to be made of glass but wasn’t see through further down the village, east and west.
Himeko pointed to the one on the right, “I think Kenta and I should check that one out, that’s where most of the underlings work. We could probably get information there regarding why the hits were sent out while the one of the left holds the five Sicario where you can probably get information on who sent them out. I think you can handle them until we make our way over to help, you’re strong and smart. It’ll save more time.”
“Sounds good,” Hikari said as he made his way to the left tower. Himeko and Kenta made their way to the right tower. The Shinigami outfits got Hikari and Himeko a few funny looks but nothing more.
Entering the right tower Himeko immediately noticed Mariana and Isabella there talking to each other. They soon noticed the two as they walked in. “Oh look who’s here,” Mariana said as she began walking up to the two.
“She’s with another cute guy too~” Isabella said as she walked alongside her sister, “Though I think I prefer Hikari~”
“Blue and red, ice and fire?” Kenta looked over at Himeko, “I assume these two were the ones sent after Hikari.”
“You assume correct,” Himeko replied as she stared at the twins clenching her hands so they became fists. She began rising her energy caused the floor to tremble a little.
“I know you’re upset, but remember, we need information,” Kenta replied as he stood beside her calmly, “That first, and then you can beat them to your liking. I’ll get out your way then, but I’ll help you ware them down.”
“Oh are you really going to hit a female~”
“Please don’t mistake me for Hikari, I’m far from a gentlemen,” Kenta spoke calmly yet his tone was threatening, pretty much like it always was. He put a hand to his neck and cracked it as he closed his eyes, “I’ll pop your head like a grapefruit and not think twice about it.”
Kenta sighed before opening his eyes. His eyes caught the attention of someone familiar causing him to put his full attention on them. They were standing on an upper floor that stuck out like a balcony. He let his hand drop as he stared up at the figure.“Raijin, what are you doing out here?” Mariana asked as she looked up at the masked man.
“That one,” he replied as he pointed towards Kenta, “I can handle him. I’ve done so already…I have plans for his sister, so I need him.”
No one could reply as they were suddenly paralyzed under some force for a few seconds. Once they came back they looked at Kenta who was shaking, his metal fingers slowly clenching stopping before they actually made a fist. He stared up at Raijin as his hair blew up around slightly by the mysterious force. It wasn’t spirit energy, but instead pure killing intent manifesting into its own form just like spirit energy. It simulated heavy wind causing things to blow around and fall down. Kenta grit his teeth staring at Raijin. Himeko’s eyes widened along with the twins as Kenta was now up there with Raijin within a second. Gripping his face Kenta threw him through multiple walls before shooting after him. So much for not getting upset and needing information, Kenta had left Himeko to fight alone. It was fine though, she did well handling them both before. Now she just had to do it again.
Himeko vs Mariana & Isabella P.2
“Energize, Genki!” Himeko commanded before throwing a left punch at Marianna who jumped back to dodge it yet got hit by the burst of energy her Shikai sent out which sent her skidding back. Himeko quickly ducked as Isabella sent a kick her way. Expecting her to duck Isabella quickly shot her leg down slamming into onto Himeko’s back causing her to fall down catching herself with her hand as a light blue glow surrounded her. Himeko quickly recovered and grabbed Isabella’s other leg. Lifting her up Himeko fell backwards slamming Isabella’s head into the ground. Himeko quickly lifted up still holding onto the leg as she threw Isabella forward who managed to catch herself on her hands and jump onto her feet. The twins jumped back to create some distance between them and Himeko. “You’re being easier than the first time I kicked your asses,” Himeko commented.
“Maybe we should give you the same treatment we gave your brother,” Mariana said as ice blades grew onto her boots.
Mariana looked over to Isabella and they nodded before jumping to the side, running full speed towards Himeko. Mariana jumped at Himeko with a sideways kick towards her head in which Himeko ducked soon noticing Isabella kicking down at her with a flaming leg. Himeko jumped to the side letting the leg smash into the ground, though the flames shot after her causing her to jump back. Mariana appeared behind Himeko with a roundhouse kick to her head. Himeko put her fist up to her face blocking her head letting the shoe blade slice her wrist and send her skidding back. It soon healed, though the twins ran in for a barrage of attacks before she could recover fully. Mariana jumped down from the air shooting kicks at Himeko with both her legs while in the air, Himeko kept blocking. She quickly let herself drop and spin with her leg out hitting the back of Himeko’s ankles causing her to stumble forward. Isabella then did a backflip kick to Himeko’s face causing her to shoot her body upwards with blood shooting from her mouth. When she recovered she soon found four legs kicking towards her multiple times which hit and sent her to the ground rolling backwards.
She grunted and lifted up moving the hair from her eyes as she stared intensely at the twins who were giggling. Her minor wounds had recovered but that was the end to her Energize Shell. She grit her teeth as she threw her hands back shooting a ball of energy from both hands. She dashed forward, and with the force from the energize bomb it sent her flying forward faster. She sent a hard part to Isabella’s face which sent her flying back. She then ducked and punched Mariana in the gut before she could react. She activated her second energy burst technique strengthening her attacks as she punched Mariana in the gut again sending her into the air. A clone of Himeko then appeared beside Mariana in the air and punched her face sending her flying into a wall.
Isabella appeared in front of Himeko throwing a punch in which Himeko quickly jumped up and wrapped her legs around Isabella’s arm making sure her feet were clamped onto her shoulder. Himeko then spun causing Isabella to scream in pain as her arm had twisted around multiple times. Himeko dropped from her arm as her clone fell from the sky sending her elbow in to Isabella’s arm the same time Himeko struck her knee into it. Himeko felt the bone snap completely to the point she felt her own clone’s elbow. The flesh on the arm looked withered and shrunk. Himeko and her clone then sent a kick to Isabella sending her flying into her sister.
Himeko threw her hands back forming her hands like a ball as energy began crawling into it. She thrust her arms forward with a beam of energy shooting out and hitting the twins causing them to crash into another room. Himeko walked through the dust cracking her knuckles, looking down at the two twins, “So slut…Prissy…Time for you to tell me what I want to know.”
Kenta vs Raijin
Warning: Descriptive fighty fighty stuff :D
Raijin stood in a wide room chuckling behind his mask as green smoke floated around him. Kenta stared at Raijin before starting to walk towards him, “The only reason you got me with that lame ass poison of yours is because I didn’t see it coming. Matter of fact you hid it behind bushes and trees. Shit won’t work now.”
Kenta ran towards Raijin as Raijin sent the smoke of poison towards Kenta. Kenta reached back and unsheathed his Zanpakuto using Tenran without halting his movements. It caused the poison to fly back behind Raijin and let Kenta continue running towards him. Kenta reeled his fist back before slamming it into the gas mask of Raijin causing it to break and fly off. Raijin was sent flying back. He quickly deactivated the poison as his mask had broken. Raijin groaned, bleeding from his nose as he began crawling forward before Kenta sat on him with his full weight, hearing satisfying crunches.
“What was that about handling me?” Kenta asked as he smacked the left side of his head, the ringing had started but it wasn’t much of a bother now, “Also what was it you had in mind for my sister? I sure do hope it’s nothing compared to what I went through…Do you know what I’ve been through?”
Raijin grunted with his face to the floor looking at the broken gas mask beside him. He stuck his hand out and tried moving forward but couldn’t due to Kenta crushing his back with his weight. “I asked…Do you know what I’ve been through?” Kenta’s tone was low and calm yet chilling. It caused Raijin to shiver in fear, “…N-No!” he cried out.
“Well let me share with you,” Kenta said as he grabbed one of Raijin’s fingers and stuck it upwards. “They kept me awake through the pain,” Kenta said as he slowly pulled the finger back towards the back of Raijin’s hand hearing a slight crack. He heard Raijin grunting before screaming as Kenta slammed it down then twisted it around ten times slowly, “Oh come on, this is nothing compared to what I went through. I’m sure it’s nothing compared to what you have in store for me.”
Kenta smirked and stood up. Grabbing Raijin by his hair he lifted him onto his feet and pushed him forward. Raijin looked back at Kenta, Raijin was younger than he seemed, he looked like a kid. His dark eyes were full of fright and he was shaking. “I want you to show me what you planned to do~” Kenta said with a grin as he smacked his hand against his head. Raijin quickly turned around and ran, soon entering a hall.
Once he turned a corner he noticed Kenta there smirking which caused him to quickly turn and run the other way wondering how he got there so fast. He took a quick look back seeing the Hyapporankan rods hit the wall failing to get him. He wasn’t so sure that it was meant to catch him; it seemed like a whole big tease.
Raijin had been running for a while with no sign of Kenta. It gave him faith that he had lost him. He ran into a room and shut the door backing away from him, “That fucking loony!” Raijin said within a few breaths. “Oh like you haven’t been getting off on pain from others,” Kenta’s voice could be heard from behind Raijin causing him to turn around to see a smirking Kenta. “Run!” Kenta commanded as he snapped at Raijin causing him to run back into the hallway finding it filled with smoke causing him to cough. Suddenly an explosion erupted within the smoke with Raijin caught within it.
“Honestly, I expected a fight from you. Instead you’re just running like the coward I was claimed to be,” Kenta said as he walked through the dust caused from the explosion. He hovered over Raijin whom lay on the ground bleeding and shivering. Kenta slammed his foot on Raijin’s chest causing him to cough up blood, “What happened to….You handling me?” Kenta smacked his head.
“P-Please…Just…Kill me already!”
Kenta laughed loudly as his killing intent grew more causing walls to crack and break. He applied more pressure on Raijin’s chest. “Like I said, I’m sharing with you what I went through!” He released his foot and snapped healing Raijin before kicking him and causing him to fly through a wall. Kenta followed, “It would be rude of me not to, hell, you may even get a few ideas on how to ruin my life again.” Kenta stomped onto Raijin’s head once causing his body to jerk. Kenta didn’t let up, he just pressed harder on his head, “Though I guess it all didn’t turn out bad. I got this newfound strength, I saved my sister…I get to kick your ass, so really, I should thank you!” Kenta picked Raijin up by his hair again before throwing him onto the ceiling. Once he fell Kenta used Ikkotsu which sent Raijin flying further. Kenta appeared behind him and used Sōkotsu on his back sending him flying into the opposite direction. Kenta watched as he flopped and rolled on the ground chuckling a little bit.
Kenta hovered over him again, “The body has twelve pairs of ribs. When I first threw you through a wall you broke four, then sitting on your back caused you to break two. That explosion I know had broken two. So before I healed you, you had broken eight pairs. Throwing you into the ceiling, you broke two. That Ikkotsu broke four and that Sōkotsu broke four. You broke ten pairs of ribs. Broke four of them three times, broke two of them three times. Within breaking your ribs six times the amount equals up to eighteen despite only having twelve. Now that still doesn’t compare to what I’ve been through, you feel me?”
Kenta found the teary eyes of Raijin amusing. The pain and fear in his expression, the blood covering his body, it was all the same. “My back was cut open and then closed over and over again…So you wouldn’t complain…If I showed you what that was like…Would you?” Kenta snapped healing Raijin once more. When he was finished he flipped Raijin over and ripped his coat and shirt off that were already torn. He sat on Raijin’s waist and opened his mouth, lowering it onto Raijin’s back.
…
How long had it been? Hours? Felt like hours, felt like weeks, eternity! The pain was unbearable to the point he was begging to be killed through it all! Teeth seeping into his skin pulling and tugging, struggling to rip the flesh off! Biting harder once he found it too difficult, stretching his skin further than it should have ever been stretched. When he finally tore his flesh off…He’d soon move to a new area on his back. Raijin couldn’t tell the difference between what liquid dripped over his body onto the floor, blood…Saliva? Both? Didn’t matter, more found its way-down the few pieces of skin that were left on his back-onto the floor. And just when he thought it was over Kenta would heal his back to stop him from passing out or dying. He felt good, refreshed, like none of it just happened….Just for Kenta to get right back at it again. Ripping his back off with his teeth, healing him, biting, healing, biting, and healing! Over and over and over and over! Why him? Why was he alive? He just wanted it all to end! But it kept going with no way to fight back….He knew he couldn’t talk his way out of it, he couldn’t get out of it! He just had to let it go on, and on, and on….And accept the endless torture he had made happen to others.
“K-Kenta?” A female voice could be heard stammering behind them.
Kenta’s eyes widened as he snapped out of the state he was in. His killing intent soon disappeared. Kenta slowly stood up and wiped his mouth then threw his arm towards the ground letting the blood splatter off adding to the mass amount of blood painting the floor and mostly destroyed walls. He looked back at Himeko, “Uh…”
“I have information…Let’s just go help Hikari,” Himeko said before soon shunpo’ing away. Kenta looked down at Raijin who was curled up on the ground shivering, back wide open flooding the floor with blood. Kenta slammed down onto Raijin’s ribs with his fist. The impact could be heard throughout the whole tower; Raijin wanted to scream but had lost the ability to do so.
“Don’t pray you die, there’s no such thing as a savior,” Kenta spoke before turning to follow Himeko.
Hikari & The Five SicarioWalking up to the downed white hair man Hikari placed his blade right under his chin and spoke, “Most of you five are near dead. Answer my questions and I’ll consider letting you live.”
“Ok, ok!” The white haired man said as he scooted back. He knew the power Hikari now held, he was able to take on all five of them at once, now all their bodies laid sprawled on the floor bleeding. What he could do to himself, in the state he was in…Torture. He jumped as Himeko and Kenta burst through the door, “I have information!” Himeko said yet Hikari just stared at the white haired man.
“What’d you get?” Hikari asked in a stern tone.
“It was like you two suspected earlier. They knew your weakness because the clone was spying on you. The clone was made to be exactly like Kenta, even down to the Shikai…Although it wasn’t a real one, just voice controlled and able to absorb and release heat in the same form as Kenta’s abilities.”
“Y-Yeah that’s correct!” The white haired man said as he wiped blood from his nose, “We had the clone built by someone working for us, of course his lab was blown up but…We had to do what was necessary for the job. When we were done gaining information we tried to deactivate the clone, but for some reason it failed…”
“That must explain the sickness Kenta gained throughout the year. Something went wrong within the programming so it affected the clone itself, but didn’t kill it,” Hikari said, “Now my question is why didn’t Squad four notice while healing?”
“Question left unanswered, I didn’t create the clone s-so I wouldn’t know,” the white haired man said as he slowly stood, Hikari allowing him to do so but with a blade to his neck.
“Well that solves the Kenta mystery…mostly,” Hikari said, “Now…who placed the hit and why?”
“The reason why…there are no questions asked. We get a request, and if the money is good enough then we send the hit out,” he replied, “However! The name on the letter was Krypto Shinrai!”
“You have to be shitting me,” Hikari said in disbelief before gritting his teeth, “Are you fucking with me!? Is whoever that is fucking with me!? The fucker knew we’d find out, so they make their name that out of everything! Is this just a game now!?”
Himeko raised an eyebrow and looked up at Kenta with a puzzled look. Kenta spoke without looking at her, “From a book created by one of our clan elders spreading back to the second generation. It featured a character named Krypto. He was an assassin, and the main character’s goal was to find him. The main character was put through trails before he could reach the assassin who was revealed to be his twin brother. They fought equally, and eventually killed each other.” Himeko’s eyes softened as she looked forward at Hikari.
“So it is a Shinrai,” Hikari spoke, “Sato isn’t the type to use riddles or anything. He’s straightforward, and if he wanted to kill me then he had plenty of chances to do so. As for my father…Truth be told I don’t know much about him, he suddenly appears then leaves again. I doubt it’s him…I don’t know though. I have to find him….again…Maybe Tabo can help me out. Well then, I think we’re done here.”
Hikari stared into the eyes of the white haired man before slicing the right side of his neck down to his left hip causing him to fall to the ground. “It was considered; you live or die by chance. Better hope for the merciful route…Death.”
Hikari sheathed his blade and turned around, leaving the village alongside Himeko and Kenta. They headed back to the Seireitei to ask Tabo a few questions.
