Marisol has a slim and tall slender figure, standing at 5'9ft. She has dark brown hair, that fall past her elbows and deep brown chocolate eyes. She's known for her tanned complexion from her Latino background and her flawless skin. She walks with confidence and elegance, that can sometimes be a bit intimidating to some people. She usually wears her hair loose, or in a loosen bun or pony tail, but being a Model her hair has changed multiple times-depending on the season and settings for the shoots. Marisol doesn't use heavy make-up on holiday, preferring more of her natural beauty than anything else.
She only has ears pierced;Usually wearing stud earrings or hoops. Mari can often be seen wearing a necklace, a bracelet or a ring with any of her outfits. Marisol has no scars or tattoos on her body, but she has a birthmark on her lower back.

Personality:

Marisol is well educated and is a rather smart woman. She has always tried to aim high and achieved her dreams of being a model and photographer. She loves her job, despite it's hard-ships at times. Many men want her, due to her being a well known Model and due to her beauty. She may be confident and beautiful, but she knows her limits. She's also not on the market, so men can eat their hearts out. She's loyal and devoted to her Pete. Being in the modeling Industry, Marisol knows what it's like and it can get rather competitive, her ambitions and competitive nature help her get far and achieve her goals, if she sets her eyes on something.

Despite being born into a posh and high-status family like the Carringtons; Marisol is rather down to earth and caring young woman. She's protective and loving towards those who mean a lot to her eg. her siblings and Pete, her friends. They keep her going and are her support and manage to keep her sane. She feels rather passionately at times, and sometimes her emotions can get the best of her.

However, Mari is also capable of being stubborn and bitchy when people provoke her. Her parents do an excellent job of unleashing that fiery temper within. Once provoked, she won't stand for it and will defend those who have been done wrong too, whilst she's at it. Mari is capable of holding grudges, which can sometimes lead to big arguments when it gets too much to bear.

History:

Marisol was born as the 9th youngest of the Carrington Family. Being born into a high-class family and society, a lot was expected of everyone including her. Everything seemed to be handed on a silver platter; much to Mari's dislike. She hated acting posh and so high up like her parents. As was growing up, life was hard and she watched her older siblings leaving one by one, every one she cared and loved left due to disputes, arguments and such with their parents...leaving Mari and the youngest behind for a few years. Mari doesn't recall ever being close to either parent-more close to her siblings and friends outside of the family than anyone else. She has made her fair share of mistakes and accidents, which got her into trouble on more than one occasion.

Marisol tried to take her mind off of everything with school and her studies; when she reached 14/15 years old she finally had enough and run off to a friend's house that was lives in New York. Mari had lived at her friend's house for a while-cutting off any and all contact with her parents, not looking back to contact them since then. When Mari turned 15, she met Pete on his first day of school-there seemed to be a spark between the pair and 6 years late, turned into something wonderful. The young pair have been together for 6 years and happy together. Mari adores and cherishes Pete; he's always been supportive and takes good care of her.

Growing older; Marisol finished high-school and college in Persue of being a model and photographer. Her education and skills of photography which has been a long term hobby helped her out at the modeling studio. With the support of her siblings and Pete, Mari has done well for herself, building a steady career she had wanted since she was young and home with her loved one. But life is never really perfect with the family drama going on, even if it may seem that way. Mari knows too well, that perfection and peace does not exist within her family...it's more chaos than anything..Mari has received a package from her estranged parents. The parents, she tried to forget and move on from for these last 6 years.

Education:

Marisol went to High-school and college, before going to a Photography college for 2 years. Later on, she went into the Modeling Industry, putting her other skills and qualifications into use with her job.

Favorite memory:

The day Mari met Pete in school. They instantly clicked, soon becoming friends and move and have been together since then. Their relationship going strong and happy as ever. Pete has always been Mari's rock and support. She doesn't know where she would be without him, he just means the world to her.

Least favorite memory:

When she was 6, she accidentally broke a very expensive vase by accident when playing with her youngest sibling. Her father had locked her up in a very small cupboard as punishment for a few hours...ever since, Mari has been freaked out by small spaces.

Probably should mention that I'm interested, but I've A) haven't done a drama-type RP in years and B) have no clue what I'm doing. The concept feels interesting and can be something I can stick with given the right pieces fall in place. Pete is a rather tall man standing at about six feet three inches tall. He spent years in the hot Georgia sun so his skin is constantly tanned. Or it could be from his mother's side of the family. Years of playing sports has given him a muscular form that he keeps no matter what. His father had taught him the importance of keeping strong so Pete keeps trying. If one were too look at family pictures, Pete is built and looks like his late father except for his eyes and hair. Both are clearly from his mother.

Pete usually trusts Mari to choose his clothes since he still is a bit southern in the way he dresses. His idea of normal is flannel and jeans which usually is not enough. So he usually just asked her for help. She knows better than he does.

Pete has a scar on his right bicep. He tries to hide it but it clearly is old. It is the only mark on his body. His accent has gotten a bit soft from years of living in New York City.

He acts like nothing really bothers him. Acts is the important word there. Pete acts like nothing ever bothers him or gets under his skin when it does. If one were to look closely they would see a very different person. He can be quiet and moping at times. He wakes up screaming in the middle of the night. However he tries to hide those two sides. He almost has to be the other guy. Very few people have ever seen the other Pete.

History

Pete had a generally normal childhood. He was born in deep in the South. Pete was born as the only child too a family of farmers. He figured that some day would he would also be a farmer like his entire family. However that never came to be. When he was 14 years old, there was a devastating crash. Pete still remembers the sound of the crash and screech of the metal. He remembers being pulled out of the wreck by the first responders. The last memory is off the rainy graveyard and their funeral.

Pete was soon bundled off to New York City to live with an uncle he did not know he had. There he met her. It was a bit odd but he hit it off with some girl named Marisol. It was her that helped him get over the recent death. The two of them are still together after six years. Pete basically attributes everything that he is right now to her influence. She turned him from a quiet and almost angry boy into the man he is today. Pete always says that it is thanks to Mari that he became a much better man. He graduated high school thanks to her.

After he graduated, he got into NYU for Journalism. Pete had always liked to write and now he was being paid to do it. He was definitely new at this but he is a rather decent reporter. He is still an intern at the New York Times. He has spent most of his relatively short caterer trying to look out for the little guy. He knew that he would be going with Mari as soon as she got that package. The velvet box has never felt so heavy in his pocket. He knows that now is the time to do this. All he has to do is survive her family but he thinks he can. He knows that she is worth it. He is just scared about how they will respond to him. He only knows a few of the siblings in passing really. Mari introduced him to a few of them. Pete could care less if they do not like him. He only really cares for one member of the Carrington Family. He is currently writing an article about the family.

Education

Got through high-school and then went to college for Journalism. It is his passion.

Favorite memory

A very special day when he was in high school. His life changed that day for the better. It was the first day of school when he met Marisol. Things were never the same after that.

Least favorite memory

His family's funeral is his least favorite memory. He still has nightmares to this day about the car crash.

Yeah, might want to explain if he graduated early (which I can see, since someone like him might do well drowning himself in studies and work, so it's not farfetched to assume he took more than 12 credit hours a semester and was able to graduate a year earlier). But other than that, he's pretty good! You can move him over to the CS tab, just make sure you put an explanation in the Occupation section.
