"I don't know why I'm here, it seems like a hell for the guilty. I swear, I'm innocent, I don't know why I'm here too.
Name:
Hayden Anderson
Gender:
Male
Age:
31
Appearance:
Hayden is a tall, fair skinned man standing at 6 foot 2 inches, his golden brown hair always combed and washed to a shine to counter the darkness of his black eyes. He by no mean the fast or strongest (although he was the high school track star at one short point), but he's athletic enough to get himself out of trouble. Don't ask him to stay in a constant fight though, his stamina won't keep up.
His outfit is of a white collared shirt with a solid black tie under a stripped leather vest tucked into dress pants with a holster for his weapons he found in the Dream. Hayden wears a sturdy pair of strapped boots with some metal plates on it for protection after he lost his normal dress shoes upon waking up. The most notable piece of equipment is the chain-and-leather bracer, thick enough to be used as a shield against monsters who enjoy bitting his sorry pale ass.
Magic:
Hayden has innate Blood magic abilities, most often used to force an enemy to stay put by forcing blood down into the feet at a speed which can cause a great amount of pain. He seems also be able to physically draw out blood with his strikes and increase his damage as even a small blade can scar a bloody wound in his hands.
Weapons:
Serrated Blood - A rather gruesome weapon for a less refined age; this one-handed cleaver is Hayden's primary weapon against the monsters of the Dream. Its a straight blade with a surprisingly comfortable wooden handle with one edge being a simple sharp edge and the other a sawtooth serrated edge. Its advisable for anyone concerned about their health or well being to not be hit by neither edge.
Hollowlock - Once used by nobles as a sign of status and a tool of self defense and dueling, Hollowlock is now in possession of a new owner. Its a beautifully crafted and engraved weapon of silver, steel and mahogany; had it not been used in killing it would certainly make an exceptional museum piece or heirloom decoration.
Abel's Cainhurst Spike - Once belonging to the old hunter Abel, the Cainhurst Spikes are stake-like daggers which can cripple beings with well placed hits. Cainhurst Spikes were typically the weapon of novice hunters but where of crude wooden or stone quality. After the Church of Eden began equipping its own clergy with it, its material was changed to solid iron and can drilling into flesh and bone.
Personality:
Hayden has a rather cynical outlook on this new predicament but in all remains a fairly jovial and amicable person. He has a resting bitch smile as some would say, leading to him look like he's being snarky or judgemental when he isn't actually. He's also a very forgetful person who can and will mix up facts, names and locations. He doesn't even remember his past outside of glimpses and flashbacks but assures himself he had a very enjoyable, stable job and a family. While he won't exactly get lost, its best not to trust his navigation abilities unless you want to take a very scenic route.
He's also surprisingly modest and humble but is hung over by self-doubt and a more morbid curiosity of the world. Unaffected by the violence and gruesome nature of his surroundings, he questions what he actually was before coming here but will cover his own tracks and insist his innocence on his actions in gatherings.
When not out and about spilling blood, he enjoys fine spirits and old music from the 40's with a good cigar or smoke. Not that Iredele has much of either.
Bio:
Hayden doesn't know what he was before entering the Wasted Dreams. He remembers being rushed to the hospital after a truck plowed into the police car he was in and something about being convicted of murder but... he was innocent? He had to be, he knows wouldn't murder in cold blood. Yeah, he was an entertainer of sorts? He had a suit and had a good voice and he remembers some magic tricks. Yeah, he must have been a magician or something, not the kind who'd kill people. Yeah... he was innocent... he had to be...
Very nice character, he has all that's needed to be an enjoyable company. Also, I noticed the Star Wars reference, very clever... Just wait for @TheWindel's opinion, though I can mostly guarantee that you're approved.
Considering that it's @TheWindel moving things around, you can be certain of that. In fact, I'm pretty sure that a certain Black Goat will be lurking around sooner or later.
"Iä! Shub-Niggurath! The Black Goat of the Woods with a Thousand Young!"
"One place is as good as any, and I can always make it better."
Name: Lazar Artyom
Gender: Male
Age: 28
Appearance:
At over six feet (188 cm), Lazar is taller than most men. He's broad of shoulder and muscular, making it clear that he is no stranger to hard work even if he is a stranger to his own past. Besides that, he appears fairly average. Dull, almond-brown hair and dark green eyes that border strong masculine features.
Magic: N/A
Weapon:
Butcher's Blade: A forward-curved, single edged sword with a heavy spine capable of blocking steel without damaging the cutting edge, as seen over his shoulder. The scabbard is of weathered oak, with the scars of battle polished over with wax. The weapon itself has a leather-wrapped handle, unadorned iron pommel, and a well-maintained blade whose edges are nicked from frequent use. [Example]
Old Hunter's Crossbow: A hand-cranked wooden crossbow with tarnished silver filigree. It packs a far bigger punch than the average flintlock pistol, but is also far more cumbersome to carry and requires two hands to wield effectively.
Super Special Placeholder:
Personality:
Lazar has the relaxed attitude of a man who doesn't feel that he has anything to prove, and no lofty ambition to drive him. In other words, he's an easily contented individual who isn't overly concerned with how others view him. Although he can and does get angry like anyone else, it is very difficult to ruffle his feathers. The scathing gibes that send some people into a fit are like stones tossed in a lake when it comes to Lazar, and if he is angry it's much more likely that the cause is some witnessed injustice.
Despite his placid nature, Lazar does not like to lounge about all day. He is a hard worker, who focuses on the task at hand and doesn't usually humor distractions when there's something to be done. If he sits still to long he's prone to getting restless, so he uses physical tasks to keep himself busy, loosen up his muscles for when he needs them, and ease his mind.
Unlike some others, Lazar isn't interested in returning to wherever he came from. Sure he'd like to remember his own past, but in his own words: "One place is as good as any, and I can always make it better."
Bio:
A white room, a bright light. A warm hand in his cold one, hot tears falling on his chest. Something small bounces across the tiles. Before that, heat on his skin, pain inside and out, a weight in his arms, too heavy. Falling. When Lazar looks back, to a time before he awoke in Iredele, that is all he remembers.
@KoL Could I just ask what does maria have in her pandora's box? since you listed it as a weapon, and since everybody has witnessed different things come out of it, it directly = to having multiple weapons. Oh and, what is the max number of weapons I can have? if I don't choose a magic do I get to add a 4-th weapon if the number is limited? can I have 3 blades instead of blade pistol?

You don't need to ask twice, everyone saw the two comments you posted in the wrong section already. And I'm pretty sure if KoL wanted everyone to know what was in Pandora then they wouldn't have made it a secret, makes sense right? And, if I may make another wild guess, since characters who don't have magic don't get four weapons [and if you could trade magic for a weapon it would have been in the OP] then I'm guessing yours doesn't either.
Edit: Magic balances itself, there's no need to give an advantage to characters without it because characters with magic have an added disadvantage.
Anyway I gotta say that Darker than Black was one of my favorite series. And when I ask anime fans around, most of them admit to have never seen it! Just asking but what do you make of the ending in season 1? When they activate that device beyond the gate, everyone turns into a child and Amber appears again.@Guilty Spark
Actually, that's not an item that you should be worried about. The mystery is part of the fun, don't you think?
Also, there's no such thing as an obligation of your character to use magic or anything like this. It's an intrinsic option, so everyone will have the capacity to do it, even if they decide not to employ it. Consider it like a video game where you automatically get access to a skill, but you are not forced to use or upgrade it in anyway.
Like wise, there's nothing that says that you can't have different/more/less weapons, that's just a suggestion of what is the best load out of equipment. As long as you don't have more than one special item, and you keep your other items to a reasonable amount like say, like say 2 pairs of weapons, in case your character is dedicated to dual-wielding.
One way or another, the final say on what you can or not have will be @TheWindel's word. So the best you can do is consult with him first.
Appearance: Wears a hooded robe that shrouds his entire body and face with darkness. Wears dark gloves, 1.82m tall & weighs at 73kg, athletic build.
Magic: Darkness-Can fade into the shadows gaining the ability to instantly go to wherever they extend.
Weapon: *
*Metal Wires: Metal wires used to shred enemies, traverse paths, lay traps among many other things. They can be controlled at Bishops will, resembling to being brought alive and having a will of their own. *Longbow & arrows
Personality: Cynical. Knows that every human has darkness in his/her soul and very few to none have pure hearts with pure intentions. By nature he knows that humans are a selfish species always doing what's best for themselves as a person. Even if they socialize, form relationships, bonds and more, ultimately it all comes down to their own interests. In search for pure hearted humans, attracting physique all the better, although he isn't attracted in the sexual sort of way more than looking at humans as pieces of art. Most being failed pieces, catastrophes, he is always in search for that masterpiece that shows how good, caring and gentle-hearted a human being can become. Finding that piece would categorize at the same level as finding a lost millenia years old treasure in the center of the earth.
Likes and dislikes? More like what does he hate less. Everything is grim, sad and pointless to Bishop. Although he rejoices in making people laugh...he did anyway. Coming to this world was like facing the inner personality and demons that every human ever possessed. His own demons perhaps? By nature Bishop was easily frightened, that fear almost quickly turning to hate, also leading to what came to be his ticket to this world. Now, he has learned to control his emotions, he knows that they affect rational judgment, also not having anyone he cares about around, already forsaking himself, made it easier for him to shut down his instinctual feelings and null the reactions coming from them. Now he tries to use his wits and logic as that is what has kept him alive until now.
Bio: Lips curling to form a smile, a tear streaming down her face, then... wrapped in straps around a device, bright lights in front of him. An unimaginable pain coursing through all his body...conscious fading...
Oh and, what is the max number of weapons I can have? if I don't choose a magic do I get to add a 4-th weapon if the number is limited? can I have 3 blades instead of blade pistol?
The max number of weapons anyone can have is 3. Even if you don't choose magic, you cannot have more than 3 weapons. You can have 3 bladed weapons by all means, but it is heavily recommended you take at least 1 firearm as well.
@KoL So does it mean that I get the debuff from the magic AFTER* I have used it? Or do I get it simply by having it?
You get the drawback simply by having it. However, the drawbacks get more severe with the more you use your magic.
