Do we absorb the echoes of their blood or their souls or their experience points in any way?

Kinda tempted to go "real" Monster Hunter and wear them as a hat or make a sword out of their bones.

Well, your characters aren't soul sucking abominations, or vampires/anything of the sort, so no sucking...

As for experience points, I think it would be too far gone into video game mechanics to have them in the RP. The evolution should be mostly story based, IMO.

The last question is better left for your own discretion. If you want to, no one is gonna deny it.

You're right, they'd make a better Hammer if you mounted three of their heads on one of their spinal cords.

Call it the Cerberus Crusher, three jewel slots, but probably only high yellow sharpness since they don't have scales or very hard bones.

Who wants to bet we end up having to kill this Absolute thing in a rage-against-the-heavens scenario that causes this bleak, dreary, ultimate dark fantasy setting to suddenly loop around and become a hotblooded story of survival against all odds in order to bring a ray of hope back to a broken world?
