"Arceus must have a twisted sense of humour and this time won't be the last either," Shiranui remarked.

"At any rate, we need to get inside the Institute." Looker stated. He tossed each of the heroes a Magma Grunt uniform that he took from other grunts he had knocked out.

"Thanks Looker," replied Shiranui, "Time to utilise the Ninjutsu Art of Disguise."

Liam put his on. He was thinking that this was better than having to play this same game with Team Aqua. "Well, let's go in."

Shiranui nodded in agreement after donning his disguise.

Everyone made it into the institute without trouble. Magma grunts were all over.
'And I thought Dark Cave had a Zubat problem." Liam muttered to Looker and Shiranui.

"I know how we can get past," replied Shiranui, "I just need to access the ventilation system."

Looker noticed one of the vents in the corner and subtlety pointed it out to Shiranui.

"Everyone, cover your mouths and noses," warned Shiranui, "Kinoko, send a Spore into the vents!" He sent his Breloom out and Kinoko sent a Spore attack into the vent to be dispersed around the institute.

An actual Grunt saw them over there with a Breloom. He quickly figured out they were imposters and was about to yell when the sores knocked him out. Magma grunts began to drop like flies.

Shiranui had a look of relief when the nearby grunt fell over. He passed Liam and Looker some cloths to breathe through. Kinoko stopped her attack and the heroes were eventually left with at least a room full of sleeping grunts and a haze of Spore.

Liam stepped outside and sent out Pidgeot to go get Offcr Jenny from a nearby town. Liam triggered Mega Evolution, to hasten Pidgeot's travel.

Shiranui waited with Looker for Liam to return. He sent Zoro out and had the Zoroark disguise himself as an average-looking Magma grunt.

In a few minutes, Mega Pidgeot returned with Jenny riding it. Liam tossed off the disguise, as Jennies tended to jump to conclusions. When Pidgeot landed and Jenny got off, Liam saluted her and praised Pidgeot who de-Mega Evolved and cooed before being recalled. Jenny said that the paddy wagon would be along shortly to apprehend Team Magma and in the mean time, she went around the institute, having her Spinnarak use its webs to tie up the Grunts. Liam returned to his friends. He skidded to a halt when he saw the Grunt (Zorro in disguise) and grabbed one of the balls off his belt, ready to battle.

"My master taught me well if I can fool our friends," the grunt stated before dropping his guise briefly.

"Jenny is here, you may want to shed the disguises." Liam informed them.

"Will do," replied Shiranui, removing his disguise.

Looker removed his as well right before Jenny barged into the room. Liam pulled out some smelling salts to wake up the people who worked at the institute.

"Whoever was running this operation must have bailed," Shiranui speculated.
