-Personality- Candy's a charming southern girl with a big heart, and she's not afraid to get her hands dirty, though she is greatly traumatized by all that has occurred to her since the epidemic struck her hometown. She can be stubborn as a mule sometimes, and often times she goes with her gut feeling rather than what someone tells her to do. She is friendly with everyone she meets, but due to certain circumstances, it's hard for her to trust others. Candy's great at holding her own, but sometimes she can become scared and confused, often to the point of panicking.
-Bio- Before the bomb's fell, life was simple for Candace. Born into a family of ranchers, she lived most her life on a fifty acre horse ranch just a few miles outside Whitesboro, Texas, where she grew up loving to ride horses, going fishing and camping at the lake, and going hunting with her dad. She had a close knit group of friends at her school, made straight A's in most of her classes, and was just weeks away from getting her driver's license.....then it happened. News began to spread rampantly of the attacks, the most destructive hitting the East Coast. At first, Candace and her folks ignored it, thinking it was just a terrorist attack and that it wasn't going to hit Whitesboro any time soon, but as the days dragged on, Candy's optimism began to fade. She would see jets and helicopters and other military vehicles storming through her quiet little town and even past the ranch. Soldiers with guns were stationed at her school and scanning all of the students, some Candace never saw again. It was a nightmare becoming all too real for her, but she was sure the war wouldn't hit anywhere near her home, not when she lived virtually miles away from anyone....but she was wrong. One night, when Candace could barely sleep because of the helicopters thundering over her house, she heard her mother scream. Quickly, Candace darted from her bed and to her parents' bedroom, only to discover the horrible truth.
Her father had been gunned down in cold blood by soldiers in all black military gear, the very same dragging her mother out of the house kicking and screaming. The soldiers soon took after her and chased her all through the house, finally cornering her in the living room. By the way they spoke, she quickly figured out they were Chinese. The troops had her pinned to the floor and were about to violate her, until she was rescued by Jonah, their next door neighbor. Jonah helped Candace escape out the back door of the house, and across the ranch they made their way, pursued by more soldiers. Once they made it to the highway, Candace quickly turned around hearing gunshots. Much to her horror....Jonah had been shot.
"G..go..." He uttered weakly, handing his revolver to Candace, still wet with his very blood. "Run!"
And that's what she did.... sobbing uncontrollably, she ran...and kept running.
Since that horrific night, Candace has traveled far from her home, seeking other survivors or at least a place to rest safely. She took with her a small rucksack full of some essential survival items, such as a first aid kit and rations and ammo for her revolver, but what she had taken...doesn't add up to all she has lost. Her family was gone, her friends...likely dead. She had no home anymore, and with all the horror, all the grisliness, the disturbing and tragic things she has witnessed over these past few days...she had lost....her innocence...
Cold, tired, weak and hungry...she finally collapsed in front of an old gas station out in the middle of nowhere, after such a long and harrowing journey. It was here tonight she decided to rest. Maybe tomorrow she would find someone....or...maybe she would die...
@KahleenCuthald Gawd dammit! DX Must've been thinking about the labyrinth RP then! *headdesk* Oh and she's not in Texas anymore. I eh...didn't really specify where she was really, so I'mma just say Montana then. *headdesks again*

Bio: Hunter grew up going from school to school as his parents looked for a good place int he economy. Most the time only to move again. After years of this he eventually moved out on his own, forcing him to work most of his waking hours, and still land up back at his parents. After this happened a second time he eventually joined the national guard. Despite being no where near the top of his unit, he was good with that. Getting paid, a place to sleep, and getting food.
A few years after joining the national guard he eventually had his own place and a town to call home. But once the bombs fell he had to choices, join up with his unit, or run like hell and save himself. After riding his truck out of town to get out of the blast zones he eventually was forced to go it on foot, the truck running out of fuel. Armed with what he was able to raid from his own place, and from near by places he attempted to live off the land. All of that more or less failing as his training didn't really prepare him for surviving a nuclear wasteland. So he walks and looking for supplies that may have been left behind, and failing to find anything edible.
►A P P E A R A N C E◄ Standing at 4 feet and 10 inches, Aibhlinn is the shortest person in her family by far and never hears the end of it from her brothers, who are all either over 6 feet or close to it. Aibhlinn doesn't know where she got her shortness from since her father is 6 feet and her mother is as least 5'8 though Aibhlinn chalks it up to be the circumstances of her birth that lead to her lacking height. Her long dark brown hair tumbles down to her waist and she normally wears it braided back though she has days where she leaves it down. It is naturally wavy and she likes it that way, having never touched a curling or flat iron her entirely life. She has bright blue eyes that she got from her father, her mother and brothers having green or hazel eyes. Her complexion is fair without freckles or other blemishes though she does burn rather easily if exposed to too much sun.
Aibhlinn's wardrobe consists mostly of grays, whites and blacks. Due to her condition, she trusts those colors and feels comfortable wearing them. She likes jeans and t-shirts though she has a few dresses, skirts and some shorts and other tops that her mom bought her. She normally wears converse though she owns one or two pairs of boots. Both of her ears are pierced though her mother had a hard time even getting that done therefore Aibhlinn does not sport any tattoos.

►P E R S O N A L I T Y◄ When Aibhlinn is around people that are not her family or her close friends, she is normally seen as quiet and reserved. She tends to not speak much and speaks quietly at that when spoken to. She is closed off to people she does not know very well and will only open up to people she knows very well. To add to that, Aibhlinn is very loyal to her family and the people she calls her friends. She would do anything to protect them and keep them safe, even if that means putting herself in harms way. She is very self-less and tends to forget about her own well-being at times. Once given a task, Aibhlinn will become focused solely on that task and will not give up or relent until she is satisfied with the end result. To the extent, she is also a perfectionist and is very reluctant to proclaim her work is perfect to her standards. She is a very neat and organized person coming from a family with three messy brothers; her room would never have a blanket out of place. Her bed is made every morning and all her books are alphabetized by author and her clothes folded neatly. She also does not like other people touching her things, especially her diary or photo album that holds pictures of her family. Thankfully, her OCD ends with herself and so she will not go around telling others to organize their things or make their bed. If they want to be messy so be it as long as her things are tidy.
Despite her being closed off to other people, Aibhlinn likes to help people and will offer to help if she can manage to pluck up the courage. Aibhlinn also does not trust very easily and won't offer much about herself even if asked. Even in class, if she knows the answer she is still wary of speaking out. If called on she will answer but will not willingly raise her hand by herself. With assignments or tasks given to her, she prefers to know all the information needed, wanting the whole picture before she begins. Even if it seems un-needed, she wants to know every detail.
Aibhlinn is also Ambidextrous, which means she is both left and right-handed. She tends to switch between them, not really favoring one over the other though it has been noted that if she is writing essay's or though out pieces she will write with her left and if she is scribbling down notes she will use her right.
To the people she is close to, Aibhlinn is seen as a happy girl. She hates being the center of attention and can become quite flustered when put in the spotlight. She blushes easily and cries even easier. She also does not like for other people to see her cry, she has a bad habit of bottling up her emotions and problems; instead putting on a brave face and acting like nothing is wrong. She is a very good listener if someone needs to rant and is not very easily angered herself. If you do manage to anger to her you'll never know it though people close to her know the angrier she gets, the quieter her voice gets. However, even if she is angry, she will hold her tongue and not lash out with hurtful words. She also will simply walk away if her anger becomes too strong.
Aibhlinn can be very stubborn and does not ask for help very often, especially around people she is not close to. However, if she feels comfortable around someone, she might ask. Maybe. She is very independent.
►H I S T O R Y◄ Both of her parents hail from Ireland, her mother having moved to the states as a young girl and her father having meet his wife while he was in the states for college. They fell in love and after they finished school they settled down in a small house in Montana. Strictly speaking, Aibhlinn should not be alive. After three boys, Aibhlinn's mother was warned she should not have anymore children as she had had problems when the twins Declan and Rion were born. But Mavelle and Faolan desperately wanted a baby girl. Against the doctors warnings, they tried for another baby. They prayed day and night and in August Mavelle missed her monthly cycle. Hoping against all odds, she went to the doctor and almost burst into tears of happiness upon discovering she was pregnant. Throughout the pregnancy, Mavelle and the baby were carefully monitored and thankfully so when Mavelle went into labor on a cold December night, a good four months before her due date. It was a long and painful labor and there was a critical point where the doctors would have lost the mother and child if they had not preformed a C-section when they did. Both lived though Aibhlinn spent the first couple months of her life in the hospital on careful watch of the doctors and nurses. Because of her premature birth, Aibhlinn suffers from a weak immune system and can get sick very easily. She is also prone to ear infections and can have breathing problems if her body is worked too hard. Despite these complications, nothing stopped her from running around outside with her brothers.
The doctors had feared that Aibhlinn's growth would be stunted and her parents adopted this fear when she didn't get her teeth or much hair until she was two. As a child, Aibhlinn always looked younger than she actually was and people in the shops were very surprised to see what looked like a toddler speaking in full sentences. All in all, she was a happy and bright child who adored her older brothers. Her brothers adored her right back and didn't mind when she followed them around everywhere. Closer to her age, the twins were Aibhlinn's partners in crime where they got into all sorts of mischief. However, Cain was never far behind to get them out of trouble. With her condition, her brothers and parents did not treat her any differently. Her brothers even tried to help by telling her what the color of things were; the sky is blue, the grass is green, etc. They even made a game were they would bring her objects like apples and such and she would try to guess what color is was. Aibhlinn was never burdened by her lack of color. Instead she accepted it as a part of herself and strove to not be brought down by it.
When her parents caught wind of the coasts being bombed, they made sure they were ready in case they needed to go somewhere safer. They made sure each of their children had a backpack full of supplies they might need and thankfully this paid off in the long run. Her parents had been hoping he bombs would by-pass their town but it was all for not. They were awoken by the sound of loud explosions and screaming. Her parents woke her and her brothers up and told them to get dressed. The family fled their home and tried to make their way to the shelters but got split-up in the process. Aibhlinn and Cain took cover in a random store that thankfully was spared from the bombs. However, when they eventually crept out from their hiding place they were dismayed to find the shelters had been destroyed. They didn't know what to do. Had their family been killed? Or were they out there somewhere, alive?
After a day of just wandering, Cain told Aibhlinn to stay put in an abandoned house while he went out searching for their family. She waited and waited and after a day she went looking for him. She found him a mile away, bullet through his head. She didn't know how he died but she picked up his knife and wandered away in a daze.
►E X T R A◄ She loves drawing but with her condition she can not do much with it. Luckily she also loves dancing and is very good at it. She is also very good at playing the piano and violin. She one day hopes to be a professional dancer and doesn't stick to just one style of dance.
When she was born, she was diagnosed with Monochromacy which means she is only able to see in black, white, or shades of gray. She has accepted this as a part of herself and deals with it the best she can.
