Kind of rushed that. Sorry. Didn't want to leave and have everyone waiting for another nine hours for my post. However if there's anything wrong I could try changing it on my phone........but its an old piece of junk so........ God I hope that's an okay post.

Hey, don't worry about it.

The post is fine :P

I have two idea's for new attacks at the moment namely

  • Bachi Bachi no fuuha ( Hive Hive storm): By using almost all of the hornets from his body, Asus clouds the air with hornets in an attempt to sting every enemy in sight and also blind them due to the intensity of the storm. He only uses this as a last resort since he risks losing a lot of hornets. Because of that the current maximum number of hornets he uses is 65, though he can use less if any of his hornets have died. So I will state how many hornets he releases in the post this attack is used in. Also when his maximum number of hornets used per fight increases so will the maximum used in this attack
  • and Bachi Bachi no kougake (Hive Hive gauntlet): Asus covers his fist in hornets with the stingers pointing outwards and punches the opponent. The downside is that the hornets used this are almost guaranteed to get squished but on the upside the damage does more damage than either a normal punch or the hornets attacking. This uses 7 hornets

I hope they are both acceptable.

Yeah, can't say I see a problem with either of them.

Works for me :P

By the way, you guys can take your time to make your posts. I'll wait for everyone to finish their fights with their respective opponents.

You can post more then once a day, but it's probably not a good idea to rush your posts.

No that it's not appreciated @malmshodes , but yeah.

If you end up rushing and making a mistake, it might be bad.

Especially during these battles, since they're the big battles of Arc 1.

To be honest I was planning on using those attacks later, fuuha when I had a lot more hornets for combat and kougake after we started developing haki to decrease the chance of crushing of any hornets. However most of the attacks I have in mind so far are either for multiple opponents or require more hornets than Asus has and he desperately needed a close range attack.

Anyway I have added them to the cs

Yeah...Asus could use a strong hit attack for one opponent.

Honestly, I'm kind of tempted to say that Kougake shouldn't consume any hornets. Of course that wouldn't make any sense but...

Eh, I dunno. Armament Haki does seem like the only logical way to prevent any Hornets from dieing with that attack.

Or maybe that the Hornets on his fist get stronger due to being connected to the host and don't end up dieing.

I originally designed him with a support role during combat in mind which now bites me in the ass, but if you're okay with the hornets used for kougake somehow being tougher I'm sure I can work something out, heck I could rewrite it so that the hornets stay inside his hand until after the punch and then sting

@Duthguy

What if they don't get squished by hitting blunt objects?

They only get crushed by sharp or fast projectiles or by being slashed, which means they can't be used defensively against those things.

They don't get squished when punching blunt objects since they're directly connected to the host.

Let's go with that.

EDIT: Just read your last post. They can stay inside his hand like that too, if ya want.

@Jensoman I like the ideas you came up with but they would make an later defensive move based on Digizels coating overpowered so here is the new and improved kougake.

Bachi Bachi no kougake (Hive Hive gauntlet): Asus punches his opponent and immediately afterwards sends out his hornets which while connected to his fist sting whoever he punched. This uses 7 hornets

Well alright. I guess they won't get squished then cause he can choose wether or not the hornets come out.

I just think losing 7 hornets each time he uses his punch technique is really limiting, that's why I wanted it changed :P

Which is why I wanted to wait until Asus had haki and if your suggestions didn't make make that defensive attack overpowered I would take it, I can't exactly remove that technique either since several others I have in mind are based on it

I structure my fights to directly counter whoever I'm fighting btw, with very clear weaknesses that I expect my opponents to abuse. These are the moments when I'd like to see people busting out new techniques to overcome the increasingly difficult baddies, but if you have any concerns or questions, let me know.

Question: What's the floor we're fighting in made of? I'm assuming concrete, is that right?
