The group of warriors, soldiers, and mercenaries knelt down before Queen Zelda in Hyrule Castle's vast throne room. They were a mixture of Hylian, Gerudo, and a strange silver haired race. Queen Zelda rose from her throne, her personal knights following her on each side. She was 58 years this year, her gray hair braided under her crown. Her once gentle and regal features were now wrinkled and lined, though there was still a certain regal beauty about her. "Rise." she commanded and the group rose to their feet. "You have been called here today to investigate a threat to Hyrule. Many magic-sensitive beings throughout the land sense a disturbance. You are among the best in the kingdom. Your mission is to find this threat and assess it and, if necessary, eliminate it." The Queen paced in front of the line of fighters. "You will go to the Zora's Domain and find the Zora Shaman Lamu. She will be able to tell you where you can start your investigation." The Queen's eyes rested on Lydia, but only for a moment, as she turned around and walked back to her throne. She gracefully sat down and looked down on them. "I trust you can handle this. You may leave."
As the others were leaving, Lydia Ordon got to her feet, her blue eyes narrowing on Queen Zelda. She marched towards The Queen and the Royal Guard quickly stepped forward, drawing their swords. "It is fine, let her through." The Queen said, and the sheathed their swords, briskly stepping back. Lydia continued forward, contempt in her eyes. "Your highness." she said bitterly. Zelda allowed herself a smile and she said "You look so much like your father." Lydia clenched her fists and asked between gritted teeth, "Speaking of which, Where the hell is he?" Queen Zelda blinked, no doubt used to people being more polite than that. Nevertheless, she replied "I am sure I don't know, m'dear." Lydia growled and continued "After my mother died-" Lydia's glare glowed brighter with hate "He left, he told me he didn't know when he would come back. If anyone knows where he is, it's you, so if you're holding out on me-" Zelda quickly interrupted "You'll do what, dear? I've already told you I don't know where he is. I wouldn't do anything to hurt him, after all he's done for this kingdom." Lydia glared at her again and growled, walking off.
Lydia walked out to the stables, where the others were gathered. "Alright crew, we have our orders. Let's go find this shaman." Lydia shouted, mounting her pre-prepared horse, it equipped with food, supplies and equipment. She had to take a second to admire the castle servants' handiwork. They knew what they were doing. She spurred her horse towards the exit of the stables, stopping to wait for the others.
