Finally at the wall, Wes figured he could easily go up the wall while still enhanced but...just to make it look like a struggle, he attempted on the first try and pretended to struggle by going half way up and giving up by backing out. He faked that he was out of breath as he tried again and did the same thing twice. Looking around with his hands on his hips. For the third try, he ran up, trying this time but nearly overshot the buzzer and he jumped up to high, not needing to grab the edge but landed on his feet and paused.

"shit...they'll probably know now..." he said as he hit the buzzer for the finish.

Was that actual struggle or faking? Those scientists have zero reason to not mention his power at this point...

"Haha, good one." She said, for once not hating something Kiiros does.

Heading back in line he looked over when Kiiros spoke. He smirked "Or take up the same career you're in of being an asshole.." He said casually joining the others.

The scientist noted the time without a word."Not bad. You adapt very well. However you are not very convincing in your struggle. If you are going to act like you can't do something you might want to practice pretending. I doubt anyone was fooled by that act. Who would like to try next?"

"You have no idea..." he said with a bored look standing next to the wall again "Are you going next or are you going to bitch up again and hide behind someone?"

He shrugged to what the scientists said "Tried not to show off but...whatever..."

Kiiros couldn't help but let the statement irk him. "Who said anything about bitching up. I can take the course with ease!" at this point he might as well have been pinocchio.

"Then let your actions talk then bro...or I'll just call you a bitch again..." he said trying to get him riled up.

Wes looked around and back at V "It's not exactly easy to fake that your adaptation didn't work. Wait until I get into something even more crazy...you'll see some showing off."

Kiiros couldn't help but clearly look pissed off. "Fine, you want me to go so bad? Stand back and watch. You may have adaptation ability, but my physical speed and agility can outmatch yours any day." His cocky attitude was pretty obvious.

He went to the start of the course and started channelling his fire ability into energy, which wasn't a very smart move considering he was already low on it, but there was no way he was going to let somebody think he was a pushover.

Being unable to restrain herself from audibly laughing at Wes' and Kiiros' pissing match over physical ability was practically rolling on the ground.

Wes actually cracked a smirk from Kiiros' response. whether Kiiros was stronger or better than him didn't really matter all that much. They were on the same team. He just wanted to mess with him a little and have him show off his skills instead of talking shit the whole time. It was a bit humorous to see this but he paid attention to Kiiros just in case he needed to 'encourage' him again.

Looking over at Veronica, Wes continued smiling seeing how much this tickled her. He tried to stay reserved "Glad to see you find this all funny..."

"This is down right hilarious! Kiiros getting pissy and showing what he can do, with the added benefit of his cockiness making him fall in? I can barely contain myself!" Veronica said holding her stomach.

The first part was extremely easy for him. He often depended on his leg strength and his speed whenever it came to fights and running from trouble and was always a sprinter back in middle school. With the fiery energy he was burning along with his basic strength, hopping from platform to platform, he finished in 4 seconds flat. He immediately ran and grabbed the bar for the salmon ladder with a wide grip and started climbing his way up. He had forgotten his wrists were completely mutilated from the cuffs he had on earlier and couldn't hold back the cry of pain when he felt the skin tearing. He continued nonetheless, getting blood on his sleeves by the time he got to the top. "Son of a BITCH that hurt!!" He lost the confident exterior when he got to the balancing balls. He stopped for only a second of hesitation, since nothing of this sort was part of his daily life, before he decided to just go for it. He panicked when he lost his footing on the third one just as he was about to jump to the fourth. He desperately used anything that his abilities would do for him which made fiery wings sprout from his back only for a moment, enough to go a little farther and reach for the fourth one barely making it. He slipped off not a second later when he hurt his wrists trying to grab on. "NOOO!" He fell into the water.

She could not take it anymore "OH MY GOD, the thing...I said would...happen...then he totally... Are sharks eating him or something? Tell me sharks are eating him!" Veronica just rolled on the ground laughing. A guard even came over to see if she had gone insane. (the ... are laughing)

Still smiling, he nodded to what Veronica said. "well that's how hotheads are..."

Upon saying that, he watch as Kiiros went to show off his skill to prove he was better. Wes looked on, giving a little nod of approval seeing him handling himself ok but he noticed there was some slowing down upon getting to the balancing balls. "looks like someone is getting ready to order some humble pie..." Waiting to see I he'd make it. It was impressive watching his attempts to stay in when the flame wings came out, he watched him fall in the water unable to hold on. Wes went over to check if Kiiros was ok "Hey...you alright down there?" He called out.

He tried not to laugh when he fell but Veronica was making it difficult

The water in this section wasn't acid like the water under the net had been. Instead this water was filled with ice. It was freezing. The water had been nearly frozen solid. He would be cut by the ice as he broke through it.
