Kiiros has been poking one of the guards standing by the entrance in the background for several minutes who refused to take his cuffs off.

Two guards came over and picked Veronica up. Checked her vitals and went back to their position. "Thought you needed the help. i will be fine anyway, I can recover while they get the others in here.". A scientist came over to Veronica "Very interesting that you were able to use your power despite the cuffs. Good data, good data..." The scientist said as he made adjustments to the cuffs. "That should be a much stronger resistance now. Do try and not cause issues. You will get them taken off for the course, keep in mind..

Jen sighed.
"I'm sorry for getting angry. I should be thanking you," She said quietly.

James grinned widely when he heard that their cuffs come off for the course. Not like he really had a problem with the cuffs though, since he could still manipulate his bones within his body. He just couldn't actually form external weapons with them on. Though he could probably rip out his spine and use it as a whip again...it would just regenerate, anyways. He seemed to zone out as he thought of things that he could actually do with the cuffs still on.

"You are all so amazing." Katherin said softly. She felt almost normal compared to the others around her. Her wings were useful. But not overly impressive. She had a feeling they were going to get in her way as she tried to do the course.she might stand oust the most inthe group, but he certainty wasn't the strongest or the most powerful. In fact she was probably the least powerful one here. The thought saddened her alittle.

After the guard stopped responding every time Kiiros poked him, he got bored and walked back to the group. The two guards seemed to have let him be for the moment.

"Service here sucks."

@Varicke "right? I nearly passed out and they made my cuffs worse!" Veronica said to the red haired boy after joined the group.

"I'm not amazing. I hurt people wherever I go," She said.

James moved over to the group. "Jackasses like these are probably the worst people you could have the pleasure of knowing," he said. "And to make things worse, they probably have funding from the government. Humanity sucks."

Kiiros shrugged at her. "Who's fault is that?" He grinned. He looked to the white haired guy as he joined. He turned to the people he hadn't met yet "I don't believe I've bothered to introduce myself to you people." He straightened his posture and smiled. "My name is Kiiros Xanton. Contract killer and underground informant at your service." He didn't seem at all shy about what kind of person he was.

Veronica was about to say something when Katherin jumped in. Veronica just turned to the approacher and said "Welcome to the group, do try not to anger the guards please." She said glancing over at Kiiros "We do need to be in good positions if we want revenge. Anyway, my name is Veronica and i can control energy wavelengths around me, tell us about yourself."

"Yeah, sure it will," She said.

"Oh well, I uh..." Snapping his gaze away from the woman's chest his face turning a little red, he tensed a bit. He wasn't use to people asking about his personality. "I'm pretty sure most of you got a glimpse of how I am already." He played with his cuffs with a nervous grin.

James looked around at them, before grinning. "I'm James. Nice to meet y'all." He stopped for a second after hearing the southern accent at the end, then cleared his throat before speaking in his usual accent. "So, what's the plan for the obstacle course?"

[Xiphonic]

Was he just...? Well this guy is not starting off well.

"Why yes. We, or at least I, have seen what you are like. Most of us just try to survive the cruelty of the world. But you? You thrive in cruelty. Did you think you were special? Among us I mean? Most powerful? Most wise?' Veronica let out a sigh after that out burst. "Sorry but...you spin me the wrong way.".

"Oh I bet I do." He had a smug look on his face. "I don't take it either of you will be too fond of me here, at least not at first. I do hope you all will eventually warm up to me."

He turned to James. "Apparently they're still bringing in a few mutants according to what that dick over there said." He pointed at the guard he'd been bombarding with questions and poking for several minutes. "Must be still giving some mutants a good 'cavity search' back in the exam room too. We could be waiting for a while before we start."

"I don't think I'll ever like someone like you," She said.

"Aw, and after you took my energy and everything that I so kindly forgave you for." He put his arm around her, not touching any skin. "We could make great friends you and I. There's no need for any hostility." The only thing really going through Kiiros' mind is how he may just be able to manipulate this girl.

"Nice act there Kiiros." Veronica said as she knocked his arm off of Jen.
