Greetings and Welcome to the everloving clusterf*ck that is Hell's Coffee Lounge, the longest running Omniverse Roleplay on the site. Be sure to read the rules before apping a char. Both those accustomed to Hell's Coffee Lounge and those new to the franchise are welcome.
The basic idea is that there are a nearly infinite amount of universes, each of which operate under a different set of rules, and contain a varied set of characters. There are certain characters within these universes that have gained the ability to move between universes. The reasons are varied, and can either be tied in to that universe's lore and rules, or it can happen completely randomly. These individuals are the characters in this roleplay, as their actions are the ones that can define the fate of the Omniverse. There is no singular story to tie all these characters together, but among the many heroes that have gained this ability, there are an equal number of villains. And in such a scenario, conflicts are inevitable.
This basically describes the different multiversal sizes. Usually, nobody will give a shit about these things, but ima list it anyway.
- Omniverse
This described everything, all of reality. While it is not infinite, it is sufficiently massive that it cannot be comprehended by the human mind. It is impossible for something to exist outside of the omniverse, by it's very definition.
- Multiverse
This is a collection of universes, often closely linked Dimensions, that exist within the Omniverse. An example of this would be the DC Multiverse, which exists within the Omniverse. Traveling from one multiverse to another multiverse is just as easy as traveling inside of a multiverse.
- Worldpair
The smallest unit of universes, this describes two or three closely linked universes. An example would be the Materium and Immaterium from Warhammer 40K. Traveling from one of these universes to the other linked universes is usually easier than normal, as there are a variety of ways to travel between the universes placed within both realities.
Notes: There is a hypothetical unit called the Megaverse, which is larger than a Multiverse but smaller than the Omniverse. However, we're skipping it, because that's too tedious even for me.

1) The GMs are me, Tyki and Tiny. Any of us may make a judgement regarding your character's validity, and has full authority to do pretty much whatever the hell we want. What we say goes. If you believe on of the GMs is being unfair in their decisions, inform another GM, and we will consult the case collectively.
2) No fighting. Any time there is a dispute, attempt to come to a peaceful resolution. If a peaceful resolution cannot be reached, exit the conversation before it becomes a fight, and a GM will resolve the matter.
3) Try and avoid the necessity of rule 2 by being respectful of other players. Basically, don't be an asshole. Much appreciated.
4) Any character has the ability to open a portal between dimensions. In order to do this, your char must concentrate for about a minute. If they are harmed during this time, it cancels the tp. You may take others with you when you create a portal. You do not need to list this ability on your character sheet, unless you have the ability to do it faster/better. Certain powers, spells and technologies may block you from using this abilities (these are collectively referred to as Dimension Locks).
5) GMs are allowed to kill your characters without your consent. Nobody else is allowed to do this. Your character will not be killed without your consent, barring extreme circumstances. Resurrection does exist, and characters can be brought back. However, bringing a character back to life will require a dangerous quest in and of itself, and will often come at a significant cost.

App universes in the OOC, then once they are accepted I will place them into the OP
Name:
Power Limiter: (optional. Any character whom's power is beyond this limit may not enter this universe. This is to allow low-powered chars universes where they may do shit uninterrupted by the godlike death machines)
Special Rules: (any special laws of physics. So for example, a lack of gravity or light in this universe.)
Technology: (the general tech level of the universe. Feel free to describe the tech level of individual areas and/or factions)
Short Description: (basically all the other stuff. Size, shape, composition, inhabitants, history...)

This multiverse contains a wide variety of individual dimensions that were formed from the emotions and thoughts of sentient beings. These universes are closely related to one another, and travel from one to another is relatively easy. Most of these Universes are the Domain of a Chaos God, a powerful entity that represents a fraction of all of thought and emotion, and draws power from it.
Name: Dark Woods Circus
Special Rules:
Anyone who enters is immediately subject to their worst fears. Those who fear losing their powers lose their powers, those who fear death are killed, those who fear a particular being find a copy of that being conjured before them. The only way to safely traverse Dark Woods Circus is to confront and conquer your own fear.
Space is irrelevant, and distances exist only in your mind. You can get anywhere from anywhere in twenty paces. However, those who have not conquered their fear will never get anywhere, and will be lost in infinite forests forever.
Short Description:
A seemingly infinite plain covered in dark forests, permanently cloaked in darkness. The 'center' consists of an immense creepy circus, which serves as a home to Lucy, this universe's Chaos God. This universe is inhabited by magical creatures known as Nightmares, which feed on the fear of sentient beings and drain them of their life through that fear.

Name: The Great Theater
Special Rules:
Nobody can harm anyone else while within the Great Theater. The exception to this rule is Bob, this universe's Chaos God, and he may harm whomever he wishes to.
While within this universe, everyone will be filled with the strange urge to sing anything they would usually say.
Short Description:
This entire universe consists of a single building with a seemingly infinite series of rooms. It's a theater that's covered in entrances an exits that only lead to other parts of the theater, and an infinite number of stages where flocks of tortured souls perform a variety of plays, reflecting their lives, the mood, or the whims of Bob. A variety of human-sized dolls man the ticket booths, although the price of a ticket can range from a penny to your soul. The layout changes constantly, making mapping the Theater impossible, although there always seems to be a bathroom within five minutes' walk.

Name: The Eternal Battleground
Special Rules:
Any being that dies within the Battleground is resurrected thirty minutes later, fully intact and ready for battle. The only way to be killed permanently here is for your soul to be destroyed.
Any being that enters the Eternal Battleground is filled with the desire to fight others. Not necessarily the desire to kill, but the desire to fight and win. Psionic resistance does not prevent this, although the sturdy of mind may overcome this desire.
Every two years, there is a weak of peace in which no more fighting occurs.
Unlike other Chaos Universes, the Eternal Battleground serves as an afterlife for powerful warriors. Those who die in glorious battle are given the option of fighting within this universe for all eternity. These souls have physical form only in this universe, and are incapable of leaving it.
Short Description:
An immense plain covered in swords, axes and other weapons. While not naturally a feature of the landscape, the ground is usually red with blood and covered in corpses, who rise from their death soon after to die once more. Living and dead fighters are indistinguishable from one another as they face one another in eternal conflict. Fortresses and cities dot the landscape, serving as alternate battlegrounds, and rebuilding themselves every time they get torn down. High in the sky immense flying ships and spaceships clash, filled with those warriors who discerned themselves in space battles. Jefrrey, the Chaos God of this realm, sits on an immense throne in the center of the battlefield, as his favourite warriors clash in front of him.

name: The Miniverse
Power Limiter: Planet-level
Special Rules:
This isn't quite a special rule, but this universe is very nation-y. Beware that you may be embroiled in a conflict between armies.
Technology: Incredibly high-tech. Cloning, robotics and FTL travel are all common and commercially available. Medical technology can allow for virtual immortality, and genetic engineering is far from uncommon.
Short Description:
A universe much like our own, containing a large number of planets and galaxies. The largest galaxy (the Oklahoma galaxy) is currently ruled by a powerful faction known as the Dominion, a multi-species empire ruled dictatorially by a being known as The One. This empire conquered these worlds and united them, oppressing many of them with ridiculous laws and unfair rulings. It boasts immense military power, but despite this a resistance has formed from the Clones. The Clones in this empire are seen as less than proper citizens, and as such they have rebelled. This resistance is in continuous conflict with the Dominion. Although it lacks the resources or manpower to face the Dominion's forces it uses it's small size to launch covert strikes against various locations, weakening the Dominion's grasp on planets that are close to going rogue.
Within this world both magic and technology exist side by side, and are commonly accepted and used. Spaceships often contain a number of mages to deal with any magical problems encountered in the Big Black. There are also a wide variety of alien species. It is unknown if there are any other factions within this universe.
