With a shudder you awaken, the HUD glowing inside of your helmet tells you that the atmosphere is thin in the cabin. The problem is you don't remember why. "When did I fall asleep?" "When did I put on my skin-thins?" "Why is the atmo low?" and finally the big question, "What is my name?" These questions ring through your mind as you race through the halls of what must be your ship, looking for, something. You don't remember these rails, or those flashing lights, but your muscles do, and without knowing where you are heading, you bring yourself to the deck. Looking over the display council in front of you, you have absolutely no idea how to operate it.
A sudden realization that you are looking through your HUD because your solar mask is down, blocking your actual line of sight. With muscle memory you reach up and flip the switch like you knew what you were doing and when the visor lifts you find your vision is still obscured. This time, however, it is obscured by the smear of relatively fresh blood. With natural eyesight out the question you reach back up to engage your solar mask as it swishes down to cover your face once again, as your HUD flashes back on so you can see again, you hear the unmistakable sound of the gas hiss of the door opening behind you. Even without your memories you know that sound.
Facing you now is another person in their skin-thins, masks down, just like yours, except they don't have a smear of blood across their mask. "Who are you?" You both ask simultaneously. Looks like you are in this together.

So the basic premise of the role play is your ship and its crew are adrift in space, and you and your companions simply do not know why, or you each of you are, for that matter. You have a few objectives; Figure out who you are, find out how you are stranded, fix the ship if possible, survive. Without your memories, how will you know who to trust, and the mysterious cargo aboard your ship might offer a clue, or it might just mean your demise.
I would like 3-5 players, if there is enough interest. Your characters can be just about anything, have just about any skill or ability present in a sci-fi environment. Once you submit a character sheet I'll let each of you know just what you remember, and will release this information a little at a time. The information release will happen via PM, it is up to you, the player, as to whether you want to let everybody else know what you remembered.
If there is an interest I'll set up a formalized character sheet.
I hope to post as the GM at least once a week, but will post more if everybody else posts as well. I don't care too much about people posting in the same exact order every round, so if you are available to post and you have something to react to, please, by all means, do so! Nobody takes turns in real life either.
