This looks really interesting. Unfortunately, my schedule is already extremely full. That and you already have so many people. I fear I would get lost if you even allowed me to join.
Was thinking of making a Noble Arms merchant/mechanic kind of character. Possibly someone with the ability to read the data from the "Spells" being cast and using his ability to "counter spell". He would most likely be about thirteen and probably the lowest rank. He would be one of those quiet kids with his nose always in a book. Probably even have some kind of physical problem with his body, most likely his eyes. So he would have medically prescribed glasses and would probably keep to himself. Realistically, he could probably jump up the Ranks if he cared to.
Also, I didn't really read everything, so if my character sounds like one of yours... I apologize.
