@Garden Gnome You're welcome to pick from outside the list, however those who do will be competing against the others who have done so as well. Currently, that means Amalthea and Gowia - as there will only be one country which isn't already on the list.
So basically, yes, but you'd have better odds picking one from the list.
You're welcome to play an American who immigrated, would actually probably make you more desirable to Argus because of less connection to just one country.

Persona
Sexuality: Bisexual Personality:
The subject, henceforth called Roland, is an interesting subject. Roy has a chip on his shoulder that is as big as a boulder. It seems that he learned long ago that everyone must wear masks to keep themselves safe from the world around them. Roy is a master at keeping his emotions to himself. Roland's moods change as quickly as the wind. He never seems to get violent or full of rage. He never lashes out in anger.
However there do seem to be a few trigger words to anger the subject. If one were to call him Six, he seems to shutdown. Something about that name scares the subject to the point of shutting him down. He does not seem to the the leader type since he almost needs orders. Years of being told what to do seems to have changed the subject. Usually he is pleasant and charming with people he trusts. He some how managed to steal the pen that this report was written with.

History:
Roland Allard was born in the 18th Arrondissement of Paris. His family was never the perfect family. His father was a drunk and his mother was cold at best. Neither of them cared about their son enough to wait him or guide him, so it was the streets of Paris that raised him. She was a great teacher for young Rolland. From the age of nine he was running with a gang called Les Dix frères or the Ten Brothers. As the name suggests, there were ten young men who all were raised by the streets. Each one of them seemed to have a skill and Rolland was the thief. Since he was smaller than the other boys, he would not be thrown in jail by the police and had a higher chance to be ignored by his marks.
They kept this up for 4 years until Rolland tried to pick the wrong pocket. He tried to rob a man walking through a crowd but the man was faster than he looked. When a pair of police officers came up to ask in Rolland had stolen the wallet in his hands, the man said that he had dropped it and the young man had returned it. The police bought his lie and went on their way. The man took Rolland into a small cafe to talk to him He offered to teach the boy to be an even better thief since knew that the boy had potential but he needed a person to show him the way. Rolland accepted the offer since it was a way to
The man, Jacques, became a mentor for young Rolland. He taught the boy a few different French styles necessary to be a master thief. He taught him Savate de rue (French Street fighting or Street Savate) to defend himself and Parkour to help him get away from any situation. Rolland was taught to never start a fight but always finish it or run if the odds were against him. He managed to cut all ties with his former gang members except for two tattoos on his body. He has no idea what became of his friends after he left. He tried to look away from that part of his life. He left that life almost a decade ago and never looked back twice.
Rolland excelled in most physical tasks but was never really good at mental challenges since street smarts and book smarts are two different animals. He was however smart enough to break into the Musée d'Orsay on his 23rd birthday just for the bragging rights. However, he set off a trip alarm before he could try and grab anything but it was enough for him to get the attention of the Direction générale de la sécurité extérieure or the General Directorate for External Security. They began to keep track of the boy and watch him. They figured that they could use him for something. His years of training at Jacques' hands seem to have made him excellent intelligence agent material.
At the point of the roleplay's beginning, each of the characters will have known each other for roughly a year which they've spent training together. You should work with the other players to establish what kind of relationships you have with them. It's not required for everyone, but there should be at least 3 relations already on here by the time the RP starts.
