Hello, people, creatures, and things of a incomprehensible nature. The world I have brought you to, the one which you are now standing is called, Shava. And on the giant floating island above us is my.... well technically your base of operations. First off it's a hotel, secondly it's indestructible, and lastly it has only three staff members. Me, my head of security, and my front desk man. Oh and one more thing you will never see me, as not only am I the narrator but I'm the guy who's going to tell you what you're going to be doing, so really I'm just a voice in your head. Now on to the world itself, scattered about this paradise of a world are ruins from different places, times, and worlds from the multi-verse. Inside of each ruin ,or building or whatever you find out there, is a portal, you cannot enter these portals until you have been given a mission from me. What's that you ask, why am I talking about missions? Well you all are now warriors, and/or other profession that is along the lines of mercenary, for hire . You work for me you will be paid by me and thats about it. Well thats it for orientation so have fun. Oh, but before I forget there should be a bag or something with your name on it, inside is a stone with a rune on it. Just touch the rune and you'll teleport to the lobby of the hotel. Well have fun everyone!

It had been months.
Months...and he still couldn't accept it as truth.
She couldn't be dead, it wasn't possible. Hadn't she disappeared, or escaped death, or even beaten up Death himself, countless times?
She just couldn't be gone...

Felixter's thoughts haunted him like this in the room he had shut himself into. He and his friends had made temporary living on Shava awhile back. As such, he had already managed to get himself, Kayori, and Mirui another lab to stay in, which he had built and compressed into a small cube beforehand. In the space just outside of the hotel, he had planted and activated it, creating the lab. Currently, he was shut up in his main study room, having not even bothered to turn on the lights. He had a cat's eyesight, what did he need light for?
Still, it worried his girlfriend Kayori, and Mirui was always asking why Felixter couldn't come out to play nowadays. Felixter regretted making them worry about him somewhere in the back of his mind, but at the front of his thoughts, taking up the most space, was the accident of months before, and how to get his sister back.

Months ago, it had been a relatively normal life for Felixter's friends and family. And for them, normal meant having skirmishes with minions of the evil Master of the Demon Highlands- specifically his witches. It changed for the worst on a certain day, however. Felixter's sister, Sephie, and her two close-at-hand friends Meora and Kiroketsu, had been ambushed by 4 of the witches, Numirra, Noruani, Natasha, and of course, Nimika. They tried to fight them off as they had time and time before, and of course their other friends, like Ammi, Kayori, and Felixter himself had rushed in to help. It wasn't enough. Sephie, Meora, and Kiroketsu by extension were taken away by the witches.
They were turned into witches themselves.
Felixter led the group to go rescue them at the Master's headquarters back in the Demon Highlands. The girls (and Kiroketsu) didn't snap out of their brainwashed state until it was too late, and they had heavily damaged the party of their own friends. When they did snap out of it, a countdown started. Nimika had implanted magic crystals in Meora and Sephie, meant to explode only minutes after they began resisting their control. Thought their friends wouldn't, the girls (and again, Kiroketsu by extension) accepted their fates unusually peacefully. Despite Ammi's efforts to surgically remove the crystals on the spot, they exploded, and all that remained were big red splatters painting the floor.
Fast forward to 3 days before this one. Ammi called everyone to a meeting in the lobby. Everyone who had been there when the centerpiece of their group and two of her best friends had gone down.
"I...I think it's finally time." Ammi said gravely.
"Time for what?" Felixter growled. He knew what was coming. Ammi eyes him sympathetically.
"It's...been hard for all of us. She usually comes back much sooner than this, if she is coming back. It's been 3 months. I...it's my opinion that....this time, she's not coming back. I think it's finally time for us to hold a funeral. So we can stop waiting and move on. It's better for us all this way. I'm sure she wouldn't want us stumbling around in this gloom..."
"So we're giving up on her, then?! She's not dead! I know that something like that wouldn't kill her or Meora." Felixter snarled back.
"Felixter..." Kayori was choked up, and couldn't speak much.
"Felixter, think about this." Ammi was continually, painfully patient with him. "These 3 months since Sephie's been gone...have been quiet. We haven't been attacked by any witches, or any minions of the Master at all. What do you think that means?"
"It means they're focusing all their efforts on eradicating her wherever she's isolated with Meora and Kiroketsu, which means we need to be looking for them even more!" Felixter countered.
"Felixter, please...we all miss Sephie and Meora. We know that...Sephie was pretty much all you had in terms of family. We understand that this is incredibly difficult for you." Ammi pulled the frantic cat demon boy into a hug. "...But we need to move on. We'll never forget them, and that's not what we're doing. We're only making sure that we can fulfill their wishes and be happy now."
Felixter had blacked out then, but after waking up in the lab, Kayori had recounted to him that he had gone ballistic and started throwing magic attacks every which way.
Since then, Felixter hadn't left his study. Kayori came and went, bringing food in and taking dishes out. Felixter didn't sleep anymore, but the one time he did doze off for an hour or so, he awoke to find himself with a blanket over his shoulders, and a pillow under his head.

Currently, Felixter sat in front of his computer screen in his dark study. He had no idea what time it was, or what was going on with any of his friends in the hotel. He only knew that there was no way his sister, Meora, and Kiroketsu were gone. He refused to believe it, and if he had to, he would venture into the Underworld, Hell, or whatever it took to get them back.
"You don't need to to that..."
Felixter's ears perked up. He sensed a presence and a faint light behind him. He didn't turn around.
"Who are you?" He asked slowly.
"That doesn't matter." The voice was definitely female, and very....small. "I know where you want to go. I can take you there. But you have to trust me."

Meanwhile at the hotel, everyone else went about their own business. Ammi was expecting more people from Sephie's circle of friends to arrive in Shava, to stay. She'd given most of them the gist on Sephie's disappearance, and was hoping that some more familiar faces might snap Felixter out of his everlasting gloom...

"Taste my bla-" Steven stops to look around, when he figures out he is no longer in a colosseum fighting to end the minotaur that kill countless gladiators including his follow brothers and sisters in combat, no longer was he just a toy of the emperor trowing him about willy nilly to end countless lives just because they wanted freedom, no longer will the thing he sees first when he wakes up is a dark and damp room that he thought he would be spending his life in a cell. "I am free, I am free to take matters into my own hands." After a long second of standing their looking to the hotel. "Im free to make friends." He slowly begins walking toward to hotel ready for what lies await.

Outside of the hotel, a glimmering dimensional gate (basically a glorified portal) swirling in different colors opened up. From within its depths, 3 different voices, all female, could be heard getting closer and closer until 3 girls in extravagant dresses and witch hats flew out of it on different brooms. Okay, well, the blonde girl in all blue and the girl with purple hair in darker colors flew their tissue and raven feather brooms respectively, like normal witches might. The last one to exit the portal, the brown-haired girl in the most colorful dress flew out riding her paintbrush broom like a surfboard, crying out and giggling with absolute glee like a child. All 3 witches, though they were Grand Witches and the goddesses of their own dimension, only looked to be about in their mid or late teens, age-wise. Of course, that didn't mean they were. No one really knew how old they truly were. Only that these three Grand Witches specifically were chronicled as the main three of their dimension, the "Eighth Reality", and that they were pretty good friends.
"Ah, we're here! Yay! Time to party, you guys!" The colorful witch plopped down into a sitting position on her broom like the other two with a grin.
"Persephone, please tell me you did not just drag us here for a stupid party. So help me god, I will use your broom like a golf club and hit you so far away..." The witch with purple hair growled. The snake familiar curled around her waist hissed in agreement.
"Y-you guys, please don't fight..." The smallest of the three witches, the one in mostly blue, frowned. "I'm sorry...is it because I'm here?" After that last comment, the teardrop familiar at the end of her hat squeaked in protest, looking upset.
"Kanashiko, you have absolutely nothing to apologize for!" Persephone laughed. "And Ruitsume, you need to calm yourself! No, we're not just here for a party. That'd be waaaay too boring. No, we're here for an adventure! You see, I've heard some pretty cool things about this world, "Shava", which we're in now. I thought it'd do us some good to get out of the house and go explore some!"
"Get out of the house?" Ruitsume looked unamused.
"Take a break from the Eighth Reality, I mean." Persephone clarified.
"But...who's taking over our jobs if we're gone...?" Kanashiko murmured.
"Ah, don't worry. Remember those couple of weeks you didn't see me? That's because I was working on drawing up and bringing to life clones of us to take over our jobs in our absence! Takes a lot out of me to make such complex creatures, you know. I had to sleep. A lot." Persephone explained.
"Great. How are we supposed to differentiate our clones from us?" Ruitsume raised a brow.
"I knew this would come up, so I permanently drew on the word "CLONE" in big capital letters on their bodies. Specifically on their leg. The left one." Persephone said.
"...And if they act just like us, how do I know you're not the clone right now?" Ruitsume narrowed her eyes.
"Are you saying you wanna check under my dress to find out? My, I didn't think you were that kind of person, Rui-" Persephone didn't get to finish before Ruitsume had hopped off of her broom and used it as a bat to knock Persephone off of hers onto the ground.
"Ohhhh, they're fighting..." Kanashiko began to tear up. "It's all my faaauuuullllttt....."

Nearby the three Grand Witches opens up a portal of fair size, it reeking with darkness, the air crackling about it. To the trio, the menacing aura that this entryway produces may seem familiar, but to the other inhabitants of Shava, it rips through others with its claws of fear. One by one, another trio emerges from the darkness. Firstly, Inigo steps forth, observing the land with curious eyes. "Alright, it seems like the coast is clear. You were right again you two. It seems we've been invited to this place with no ill will set upon us..." A giggle can be heard echoing forth from the portal as Morgan enters the fray, removing her hood, unveiling her usual happy-go-lucky persona. "You give me too much credit brother. Our safe arrival was thanks to father. He's well-known for his entries. Isn't that right dad?" She asks eagerly. Last but not least, the head of the group exits, the darkness practically rolling off his person, red eyes piercing those that gaze into them. However, appearances can be deceiving. Once he removes his hood, kind brown eyes are revealed alongside his own happy-go-lucky smile. "Well, yes, I suppose so. Let's save that for the opinion of the history books. Why don't we get used to our new location, hm? It's been a while since we've traveled as a family, after all." Michael remarks, letting out a hearty chuckle as the portal closes with a flick of his wrist. The three head out towards the nearest source of magical energy, being the three comical witches, in this case.

"You g-guuuuuyyyyyssss...." Kanashiko was starting to cry. "Pleeeeease stooooppp....I'm sorry for whatever I diiid..."
In front of her, her two best friends were having a magic brawl. Well, only one of them was treating it like a brawl. The other was treating it like a snowball fight.
"Whooo!" Persephone grinned, looking confidently at her opponent. Her hands were aglow with green and purple magic energy.
"Get over here so I can punch you!" Ruitsume's clawed hands were lit up with magic of their own, in a fiery orange color. "You're so annoying! We're having a battle here and you won't even take it seriously!" Ruitsume fired at Persephone a couple times.
"That's not true!" Persephone tsked, dodging her friend's magic attacks. "You don't have to be all angry and look all serious to take something seriously, you know!" She fired back twice as many shots as Ruitsume in half the time. Ruitsume was knocked down, but definitely not out. She clutched the grass beneath her in her fist, a deep scowl forming on her face. Persephone laughed in the meantime, unaware.
That is, until Ruitsume got back up.
"Ah, so you-....U-uh, hey, Rui, don't get so mad." Persephone blinked. "It's all cool...we're just playing..."
Ruitsume stood in front of her, absolutely seething. Disastrous magic energy was flowing from her very person, and her eyes lit up ferociously. The Grand Witch extended her hand out, and shot a bigger magic attack at Persephone, shaped like a spike. Persephone was impaled through the chest, and fell onto the ground.
Kanashiko began to wail, and Nakani desperately tried to keep the witch from creating a puddle around herself.
"Huh...?" Ruitsume seemed to snap out of her enraged state. She put a hand to her head. "Hey, Persephone, we should stop. I'm getting a headache, and I don't wanna....oh crap." It was just about then that Ruitsume saw Persephone bleeding on the ground in front of her, and heard Kanashiko's desperate sobs.

When Persephone sat up, she found herself in a white void of a world. Or, at least, her half was white. In front of her, the world blended into gray further down until the area right in front of her eyes was black with shadows.
"Nice to finally speak with you. Hopefully it'll be in person soon after this..."
Persephone stood up when she saw a small figure strolling out of the darkness. His eyes were black with red rings, and lit up until he got further out of the dark. He was a little demon creature with pink fur, and two tall ivory horns, one being slightly crooked at the top. He wore a cape and boots as well. Persephone recognized him, and smiled.
"Well, well. If it isn't the Master of the Demon Highlands himself, Kebaratsu. What business does a demonic pariah like yourself have with a fair maiden such as myself?" Persephone purred, eyeing the demon ruler carefully.
"I should have known you would already know me..." The Master chuckled. "You're one of the few beings out there who happen to be as knowledgeable or all-knowing as I..."
"What do you want? I kinda have to get back to my friends, you know." Persephone huffed. "I can hear Kanashiko crying her eyes out from here. Wherever 'here' is, anyway."
"Well, if you know who I am...they you probably know that I am ill. I am losing power because of a certain incident..." The Master replied calmly. "What I ask for...is a loan on yours. I want your assistance. I want someone as powerful as you, the first Grand Witch of the Eighth Reality, by my side..."
"Geez, you and your creepy obsession with witches." Persephone rolled her eyes. "You're slimy alright. A disgusting creature. No, I don't think I wanna be any closer to you than I am right now."
"Hmph....big talk from someone who has so much blood on their own hands..." The Master hissed. "You're just as horrible as I am, you know...maybe even more..."
"And yet, I'm still better at anything I do than you are." Persephone laughed. "Look, I haven't gotten angry at you so far, but you're beginning to encroach on that side of me. I really, really don't think you want that. After all, if we're so alike...you should know how bad that could be for you." A creepy grin began to stretch across her face.
"...Fine. I'll leave you." The Master growled angrily. "But I swear...you will give me your power. Just like I've taken it from so many in the past..."
"I'm tired of hearing you talk." Persephone rolled her eyes. She snapped her fingers.

"NYA!" Persephone sat up with a shout, breathing heavily. Ruitsume and Kanashiko stood over her. A certain goddess cat with flaming wings was on her knees next to her also.
"S-she's...not dead...?" Kanashiko choked back a sob when she saw Persephone getting back up.
"She'll be fine." Ammi nodded. "You got me out here before she got cold. That's really what mattered."
"Yeah...uh, so..." Ruitsume pulled a face of half annoyance and half sincerity. "...Sorry I kind of killed you, or whatever...you just really pissed me off. Try not to do that again. It sucks for everyone."
Persephone looked at all the people around her, and started laughing.
"It's fine! Everything is just fine, you guys!" Persephone cheered as she hopped to her feet. She pulled all three of the people in front of her into a hug (much to Ruitsume's utter aggravation), then turned around to see Michael and his family walking towards them.
"Heeeey! You're here! Hi!" Persephone waved at them enthusiastically.
"Who's he?" Ruitsume mumbled.
"He's that guy I keep saying should come visit us in our dimension! He's from...uh...a place!" Persephone exclaimed.
"A place?" Ruitsume facepalmed. "You don't even know where he's from...?"
"Please refrain from killing her again..." Ammi chuckled just a little. The whole situation with Persephone had reminded her of Sephie so much that she'd gone into a sort of trance.
"S-should I go to the corner?" Kanashiko whimpered. "I dunno if your friends want to meet someone as much of a mistake as I am..."

Hearing Persephone's greeting brings a smile to the tactician's face, approaching them with memories of adventures he has had with them in a past life, specifically him and the prime witch of the trio. In fact, he found it odd that he was blushing as he approached her. "Greetings. It's been a while, hasn't it?" He starts, before being interrupted by his son. "My, my, father! You should introduce me to your friends more often. Hello there, ladies. My name is Inigo. I'm happy to make your-" Before he can even finish his sentence, the charming dawn knight is struck down by a paper fan, his head steaming from the impact. Morgan giggles, stepping over her incapacitated brother to introduce herself accordingly. "Please excuse my brother. He doesn't know his limits. I'm Morgan, the one that keeps them in line. Nice to meet you!" She exclaims, letting her happy-go-lucky self shine through.

However, just as the introductions were beginning, they were being brought to a grinding halt by a sudden presence in their minds, it explaining that they must make haste towards the lobby of the hotel. The trio simultaneously sigh at this revelation. "Well, I guess we better get moving. I hope to get to know you three better soon." With a well-timed wink, Inigo heads off to hotel's entrance, eager for a new adventure. "Guess I better go after him. Take care not to take too much time catching up father! Bye for now!" Morgan hurries off after her brother, just as eager to investigate the building as he was. Michael rubs the back of his head in slight embarrassment before bowing before the witches. "My apologies. I'm sure we'll find time later to swap any information we may have on the current situation. In the meantime, I suppose we should do what this person says and head on in. Shall we?" Michael acquires, before turning around and walking towards the hotel doors.

Felixter hesitates to turn around and face his speaker. She had requested his trust right off the bat, which he understood by now to mean that he wouldn't like what he saw. He wasn't wrong. Upon turning around, his eyes meet with the pale lavender ones of what was clearly another demon witch. Just like the ones that had kidnapped and killed Sephie and Meora.
Felixter clenches his fists. No, he couldn't judge this one like the others. Nelodine was a clear antithesis to everything the other witches stood for, meaning there was still hope. Plus...he'd never seen this particular witch before. She is small with pale skin, long hair reaching down to her ankles that is so black Felixter might've thought it was made from shadows, and those gazing lavender eyes. Her dress is predominantly white, full of silver or black frills and doily-like details. Her shoes match, but are tied with red ribbon instead of silver or black. There is also a red butterfly decoration in the middle of her neckline, and a red jewel in the huge silver and black bow decorating the front of her white witch hat. White horns just barely poke out from the hat's rim.
"You're one of Kebaratsu's witches, aren't you? What number are you?" Felixter asks cautiously.
"...In reality, I'm the first." The little witch replies. "The 'new' first, Nimika, is actually....the third...but, since she got move up...I've become officially known as #7."
Felixter's curiosity is piqued now. "What's your name...? And why have I never seen you before?"
"These details aren't important...but since I guess you need something to call me...call me Negloria." The witch replies. "I'm not here about me, though. I'm here to repay a favor. Sephie...your sister...helped to reunite me with my mother. She brought my family, the good part of it...back together....so, I'm going to do the same for you."
"Wait...so...s-so Sephie is..." Felixter's eyes widen.
"....Alive." Negloria murmurs. "Her friend is too. It's just that..." The witch trails off, letting Felixter regain himself. He had started to cry a little bit, but was quickly getting his composure back, eager to know more.
"Why?" Felixter sniffles. "Why...did they leave? Why didn't they come back? Are they alright?"
"...I'm not at liberty to tell you why Sephie pretended to be dead all this time." Negloria says in her quiet little voice. "...All I know is that I can't bear watching you all suffer...I don't want anyone else to suffer separation like this..."
"You...can take me to her?" Felixter stands from his chair.
"I can..." Negloria nods.
"Then let's go now." Felixter begins walking towards the door to his lab.
"You don't want to tell the others? You...might need backup..." Negloria murmurs. Felixter stops in his tracks and grimaces.
"...There are few of my friends who'd believe me at this point...and I have a feeling you don't want to get caught in the middle of meeting everyone right now." Felixter shakes his head. "No. I should do this alone, or with a very, very small group at best...I don't want too many distractions."
"...Very well." Negloria agrees.
Felixter exits the dark room he'd kept himself in for the past few days, squinting when the next room he entered was lit up. He looks around, but after seeing no sign of Kayori or Mirui, he opens the doorway to the stairs that led up above ground, and out of the lab. Felixter leads the witch up and out into the outside world, behind the hotel.
"Shall we be off, then?" Felixter looks down at Negloria.
"..." Negloria is quiet, but her eyes begin to glow fiercely....

Persephone notices Michael blushing a bit, and snickers. "Aw, that's cute! What, you got a crush on me or somethin'?" She winks. "Ah, just kidding! Nice to see you too, Michael! Ah, and I see you brought your kids! I extend my greetings to them as well!"
"Don't touch me." Ruitsume scowls at Inigo. She tries to hide her smirk at seeing him taken down by Morgan next.
"Boy, such eccentric people!" Persephone grins after all the members of the family introduce themselves. "I knew coming here was a good idea!"
"Yeah, whatever." Ruitsume rolls her eyes. Meanwhile, Kanashiko is trying to shuffle away to the nearest corner, considering herself an unwelcome addition to the conversation.
"Well, I'm Persephone! This angry chick next to me is Ruitsume, and the one in blue over here is Kana-eh?" Persephone points to each witch in succession until reaching Kanashiko, who isn't next to her anymore, but off finding a corner behind them. "Hey! Kanashiko! Come back!"
"I'm unworthy of your cool friends!" Kanashiko whimpers back.
Before Persephone or Ruitsume can get their friend to come back, they stand in attention of F.M.'s announcement.
"Okay then!" Persephone waves to the sky, since she has no idea where F.M. is.
When Inigo gets back up to go into the hotel, Ruitsume scowls again. "Seriously, don't touch me. I'll do to you what I did to Persephone just now with little regret."
"Kaaaaana! We need you back, we gotsta go inside the hotel and sign iiiin!" Persephone calls back to her friend.
"O-okaaaayyy...." Kanashiko walks back over, but stands behind Persephone.
"Sure thing! I'll be right behind you." Persephone nods as Michael and his family head inside. Suddenly, her cat-like senses pick up something behind the hotel. Ammi doesn't seem to notice, though she usually would since she IS a cat, because of the trance she's still in. Persephone, however, begins to smile a bit eerily.
"Sure..." Ammi replies to F.M. before wandering back inside of the building anyway.
Ruitsume recognizes the look in Persephone's eyes and huffs.
"So, how many people do I need to warn to stay away from you, a their lives might depend on it?" Ruitsume says. "I knew there was some horrible reason for you taking us here..."
"Relaaax..." The cheerful tone to her voice is replaced with eeriness as well. "I came mostly to help, and less to harm...I'm just a little...surprised."
"Why's that?" Ruitsume raises a brow.
"...Because the event I had anticipated so much is already beginning..." Persephone giggles.
With that, the 3 Grand Witches head inside the building to sign in...

"Well that was something." After watching that very quick battle he wasn't quite sure what to say. "Alright well I am just going to leave." Steve walks up to the front desk of this building unsure what to feel about it. "Hello good sir my name is Steve." He ponders a question that has been bugging him for awhile. "What land may I be in? For I have never seen a building such as this." After the question was asked he started looking around the inside of the building.

@WarpedReality@SephietheEvil@ShadowVentus To the surprise of the seven new people the "man" behind the front desk wasn't a man but what looked like a life sized stuffed bear, but instead of button eyes that most people would expect to be on a stuffed bear there was bright blue fire, and in front of those eyes sitting perfectly balanced upon his snout was a tiny pair of reading glasses and in his paws a book that looked too small for him to be reading, looking over at the new arrivals the bear places a ribbon gently between the pages of the book. Placing the book somewhere under the desk counter and removing his glasses with a delicacy one would expect from a librarian, the bear clears his throat and in a soft tenor voice with a hint of a english accent behind it he says loud enough for everyone to hear,"Welcome guests to the Midnight Magic Hotel, if you thought it would be called the Shava Hotel I'm sorry to disappoint you. As for your question young man you are in the land of Shava, a place far away from where you once came, you can return there if you want but from the look on your face I would say that going back would be a terrible idea. Now I'll need you to sign this,", from beneath the desk he pulls out a large binder, flipping it open to reveal it's contents, and of course it was a hotel registry, attached to the top of the binder with a chain was a pen,"First your name, second your gender, third your age, and finally what your favorite color is, why you have to put that I have never known. While you seven are doing that, I'll get your room keys, for Michael, Inigo, and Morgan, you'll be getting a family suite, the room is equipped with two bathrooms, two bedrooms one for the father and the other for the two," He pauses to look Michael's kids over,"Young adults. Now Persephone and Kanashiko, I do hope I'm saying it correctly, you two will share a room, while you Ruitsume you will be getting the room next to theirs. And finally you Steven, you will be getting a room to yourself. Your keys will tell you which room to go to, and when I say they will tell you I mean that literally, the have faces and will talk to you. And one last word of advice, while he technically isn't an employee of the Hotel, you should steer clear of the janitor. While he will not try to harm you he is mite bit crazy and not fully human, also if you see two shadows who go by the names Amber and Clancy tell them that Karl has been dying to see them again." With his explanation out of the way and each key given to the correct person the bear turns away from the small group and place his glasses back upon his face and takes the book out from it's hiding place. Now I know that this may make your head hurt but narrating everyones actions is harder than it looks it's like I'm trying to write a book or something. Also more about the bags, if you didn't get them on arrival they will be in your room when you get there. Holy hell I feel weird, it's like I'm talking to you people, but I feel like somebody or multiply somebodies are reading my words like they would be in a book. Also just to let everybody know the bear's name is Zed.

(This is me introducing the new characters I edited into my character lists earlier :3)

Just outside of the hotel, another portal opens. The figures who step out of it would look just like a couple of other people if viewed as silhouettes from a distance. Up close, however, this cat demon girl and her spirit guardian are definitely different, in both colors and attitude.
"It was quite nice of Death to open this portal for us." The big blue cat-like spirit guardian comments, wrapping his tail instinctively around his charge.
"I thought he was coming here...to investigate why Sephie fell completely off his radar." The cat demon girl with black hair and silver paws mutters. "I'm surprised he did not follow us..."
"Ah, well, I believe he mentioned something about popping by, but only is Sophie were to come with him. You know how he hates to leave her without any good protection. I'd say that he most likely won't come here unless he can find someone as good as Violence to guard Sophie while he's off at work and she's here. I'd offer my guardian services, but...I'm forever bound to you." Marko replies with a bow.
"Heh...well, I am pretty confident in your abilities. I think you could handle us both, but I know you suffer from separation anxiety due to our...past experience...the labs..." Silversa trails off. Marko frowns as he watches her eyes darken with the memories. He tries to think of a smooth transition to another subject. Luckily, they happen to be standing right in front of one.
"Why don't we go inside?" Marko gestures towards the hotel doors. "I don't see anyone outside, so I suppose Ammi and all the others must be inside. They'd probably love to see us again."
"...Okay." Silversa gives him a curt nod.
Behind them the portal begins to close, but before it can, another set of large claws, similar to Marko's but much more savage-looking, stop it from shutting all the way like an elevator. The rogue spirit guardian steps through quietly and observes his surroundings for a moment with a sharp eye.
"Hmph...so this is where she ran off to this time." The hazy bluish-purple bag spirit grunts. The sound of his voice, as laced with darkness as it is, catches Silversa and Marko's attention.
"Hm? Is that....no, that's not Kiroketsu..." Marko evaluates this newcomer carefully, slowly starting to pull Silversa completely behind him as a means of protecting her. She stands her ground, however.
"Who are you? Why did you follow us?" Her serious tone almost demands these answers rather than asks for them.
"My name and my purpose here aren't important to you and have absolutely nothing to do with you either." Sarchesker sneers. "Just move along and leave me be, unless you want to end up trapped underground again. Permanently." He flexes his claws.
Silversa pales a little bit, and allows Marko to move her behind him completely this time. He narrows his eyes.
"You could only know about those things if you were in league with the Master..." Marko gives this newcomer a deadly look uncharacteristic of him. "Do I need to get Sephie's friends out here? Or shall I deal with you myself?"
"Hah. Don't bother. The last thing I need is confrontation with the whole band of fools." Sarchesker rolls his eyes. "No. There's only one person I need to see here, and I doubt you even know her. And, as for you dealing with me...hah, you couldn't even deal with anyone for awhile. Silversa had to protect you herself while you were growing up as a spirit guardian. The strained, tortured experimental subject girl had to protect her own guardian...how pathetic is that?" A light smirk crosses his face, and Sarchesker himself crosses the line for Marko. Marko lets go of Silversa for only a moment so he can rush this seemingly charge-less guardian spirit with his powers of speed. However, Sarchesker only stands there, and with one well-placed swing, he manages to knock Marko a few feet off to the right, and leave slash marks on his cheek.
"Pathetic, all of you..." Sarchesker scowls.
"Silversa, don't." Marko warns quickly when he spots his charge about to try rushing the powerful spirit herself. She heeds her guardian's warning, but very, very reluctantly.
"Hopefully, I won't be seeing you two again too soon." Sarchesker huffs as he begins walking away, towards the side of the hotel building. "I was hoping I wouldn't have to confront too many other insipid creatures before I got to the insipid creature I was actually coming here for..." He trails off as he gets further away from the pair in front of the hotel.
"Are you okay?" Silversa steps over to her spirit guardian's side.
"Just fine." Marko stands back up and puts his tail around Silversa again. "These wounds will heal up within the next few minutes, certainly. Let's just get inside and maybe warn the others. Stay close to me."
With that, the two walk inside of the lobby, and begin observing everyone else.
"I do not see Ammi...or anyone I recognize..." Silversa mumbles under her breath.

(And another intro/filler post appears! This is just to start rounding up all my current characters in the same place XD and also because I wanna write stuff.)

The night is still, dark, and seemingly eternal...
Okay, well, it actually IS eternal where we are...
The sky is purple, the grass is black, and the moon in blood red. Echoes of screams and the smell of blood permeate the cool breeze…
Is there even a breeze here?
I think there is, dear!

A tall cliff overlooks the faint red, purple, and green lights in the distance, which decorate the silhouette of a large amusement park in the distance. On top of this tall cliff is another silhouette. It looks similar to a pile of objects, dripping with some sinister liquid. The smell of blood is stronger near this pile. On top of this pile are a couple of figures with glowing yellow eyes…
And they pull you closer…
And closer…
And closerrrrrrrr…

“AH! TOO CLOOOOSSSE!”
One of the shadowy figures atop the pile (which appears to be made of dead bodies), the female living shadow, screams. The other figure next to her, the male living shadow, has grabbed her by the waist.
“BOOOOOOOO!” Clancy shakes her around.
“NOOOOOO! TOO SPOOKY!” Amber shrieks. Her terror quickly turns to high-pitched giggling, however. “Oooh, you make our Shadowland home sound so spooky when you talk like that! I adore it!”
“Hehe, well, how else would we celebrate Valentine’s, than to sit atop a pile of delicious treats together and tell stories?” Clancy winks.
“Ah-ah-ah! Not Valentine’s! WE celebrate Valloween!” Amber retorts.
“Ah, this is true! We do not celebrate such holidays as Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and Easter! We celebrate Hallowistmas, Valloween, and Halloweaster! WITH PRRRRIDE!” Clancy grins.
“Ah, I have so enjoyed our big Valloween slaughter-and-feast...but I find myself bored again.” Amber sighs, looking up to the red crescent moon in the sky. “...Say, how long has it been since we bothered Sephie’s friends?”
“Welllllllll….lemme see….” Clancy leans back and closes his eyes to think. A silent moment goes by before his bright yellow eyes pop open to illuminate his share of the darkness again. “I don’t think we’ve been up there since Seph disappeared! And that was a few months ago!”
“My gosh!” Amber jumps to her feet. “Months?! What have we been doing all this time?!”
“Torturing people in the regular human world.” Clancy smirks.
“Ohhh, riiight…” A sly grin slowly creeps across Amber’s face as she recalls all the horrible things they’ve done as of late. “Well, perhaps it’s time we give the poor little powerless meatbags a break and go play with what remains of Sephie’s friends? Maybe we’ll even get lucky enough to where they’re still depressed and easily toyed with...”
“I like the way you think!” Clancy snickers.
The two shadows link hands as they jump off of their “pile of treats”, and walk away down the cliff until they reach what looks like a network of different pipes and vents, all disappearing into the darkness beyond and leading to a different place.
“I already built an instant connection to the vents in the hotel in Shava.” Clancy explains as he leads Amber over to the correct vent.
“Ooooh, I can’t wait!” Amber giggles with delight. “We should make sure our entrance is SPECTACULAR!”
“We gotta hide from them first.” Clancy nods. “Spook ‘em reeeal good!”
The shadows both cackle before they enter the vent, and within a few minutes, they find themselves in the vent system of the Midnight Magic Hotel. The pair climb through, following the sounds of voices until they reach a vent grate on one of the walls of the lobby. Two pairs of yellow eyes now peer out at the guests...

@SephietheEvil "Creepy crawlies in my vents, sneaky, sneaky, running little rats." A sing, songy, creepy voice floats into the ears of Amber and Clancy,"Two little rats who I've met before, made me more, made me less, half and half, one half full psycho, the other half pure shadow. DO YOU REMEMBER WHO I AM! I AM KARL! And you never made me full shadow like you promised." The voice gains two orange eyes peering at the two pairs of yellow eyes. Around the eyes a face appears starting with a inhumanly large smile of sharp pointy teeth. And then the face stops forming leaving just the eyes and smiles. "Welcome to the new and improved hotel. Of course it's under a new name but hey the frell do I care."

Girania was angry. Why? No big reason, really. It wasn't as if she was in the middle of experimenting on her new test subjects or anything. No. It wasn't as if she was trying to turn people into loyal, murderous, and heartless creatures of destruction. Of course not. It wasn't as if she was planning to test them out afterwards by sending them into a city or village to turn people into ashes until someone stopped them. Why would it be?

Maybe she was angry at the fact that she had been in the middle of preparing her new test subje-I mean, FRIENDS- a nice, hearty meal to commemorate the beginning of their friendship. One of them, presumably a leader of sorts, even provided the food that was to be cooked!...Well, not so much 'provided' as 'forced into becoming after a pebble-sized white-hot fireball through the chest', but there wasn't much of a difference. Now it'll probably be burnt, and they'll al leave in a hurry in her absence.

Girania didn't even know where she was. She was in a bandit hideout one moment, and then at a...very complex inn or palace or something the next. There was someone at a counter. Maybe they'd know where she was.

"Excuse me, sir", she said in a 'normal' voice. "But, do you know where I am? I seem to have been teleported to some place I don't recognize."

There are spectacular moments in life, unforgetable. This was one of it. The torn head of a giraffe in the hand of Brian, his gun raised in the other hand, from the bloody battle at Cintr II he was in a hall of some sort. Lowering his gun BRIAN dropped the head, which fell onto the ground with s amllt hud, leaving a red pouddle below it. He checked his sensor reading. He was not on Cintr II anymore that's for sure. In fact not even at the same time or space. Only now he noticed a weird bear sitting behind a desk. BRIAN calculated possibilities whilst the frame walked to teh desk, and stood still in front of it, until the calculations were done. "Analyzing facial markings. Choosing best solution to get infromation. Objective: analyze" With a small cough before his speech he asked "Where is the bathroom?"

After filling in all of the required information in the hotel registry, the trio gladly accept the key to their newly acquired quarters and head off straight away to where the key tells them to go. For Michael, already heading to their room filled him with reluctance, for the tactuous side of him really wanted to have an intelligent conversation with Persephone, seeing what she might know about this area and what may be currently happening. This bugged his children on a much smaller scale, both of them wishing to learn more about their father’s fighting style sooner rather later. Whatever the case, they arrived at the door to their suite fairly quickly, opening the door with ease, revealing exactly what F.M. had described to them just recently. Each retreating to their respective areas of the room, Inigo and Morgan begin conversing about the people they’ve met so far. Meanwhile, Michael takes a moment to collect his thoughts and utilize his senses to see who else was here besides those that they have already encountered. Right off the bat, he feels the energy of Amber and Clancy, and Karl. However, there are three energy signatures that felt fresh, two of the three remained new to him. “Strange...I wonder why he wasn’t with Ammi when we first arrived...something must’ve happened…” Michael thinks to himself.

@OtomostheCrazy"You are in the Midnight Magic Hotel. Please register yourself in the book in front of you than take this key. I suggest not setting any other guest on fire because then I'll have to call security, and that would be bad." Not looking or turning his head Zed takes a key and places it next to the registry. @6slyboy6"As for you there is a bath room down the left hall, it's the first door on the right. When you are done please return here and register yourself and I'll hand you a key."

@ShadowVentus*Thunk* *Thunk* *Thunk*, three quick knocks on Michael's door followed by,"Open up I have a message for you from the Head of Security." Another three knocks are heard followed by the sound of a door opening and voices. A short while passes then a short man walks in front of Michael. "The Head of Security would like to see you, follow me." Walking out to the hallway the short man waits for Michael to follow him.

“Ooooh, little whispering key…wherever shall you lead ussss?” Persephone takes the room key for her and Kanashiko’s room after filling out all of the requested sign-in details, cradling it possessively in her gloved hands.
“Can you stop being weird for a second so we can go up to our rooms?” Ruitsume narrows her eyes as she finishes up her own sign-in, annoyed at how much these people want to know about her.
“Oh. Sure!” Persephone grins. She seems unaware of Kanashiko trembling violently behind her. The little witch in blue is absolutely terrified of all the new creatures and people around her, especially the bear at the counter with eyes of literal fire.
“Kana, let’s go see our roo-...Kana? You okay?” Persephone turns around to take her friend by the hand, but sees the look in her eyes and freezes.
“.......s-sc….scared….” Kanashiko says in a barely audible voice.
“Alright, alright…” Persephone leads her to the front entrance of the hotel. “Why don’t you go outside? You can watch through the windows. I’ll signal you to come back in through ours when I find it.”
“O-okay…” Kanashiko nods as she feebly shuffles back outside.
With that taken care of, Persephone catches up with Ruitsume (who had already started for the stairs in a feeble attempt to avoid Persephone), and they both follow their keys’ directions to two rooms beside each other on the 4th floor.
“How many stories is this place, anyway?” Ruitsume mutters as she opens up her room. Persephone opens up the one next to it, walking in with a bounce to her step. As Zed said down at the lobby, her little enchanted bottomless bag, containing everything from her giant pencil sword, to her enchanted sketchbook, to all the rest of her normal art supplies, is sitting there…open. Why was it open?
Persephone can’t focus on this for much longer before she feels a gust. Her window is open too.
“Kana…? Are you under the bed…?” Persephone calls, but slowly walks over to and crouches before her bag, sliding out her sketchbook and a normal-sized mechanical pencil. There’s no response. Persephone stands in the middle of her room with her things and starts to draw, humming a tune.
There’s the click of the door locking behind her.
Persephone flicks the metal claws out of the fingertips of the glove on her right hand, whipping around right in time to slash the intruder in the face. She’s surprised at who she sees reeling back against the door.
“Ches?” Persephone murmurs.
Sarchesker quickly gets back up, staring Persephone down with a glare that could kill. The slashes on his face have already started mending themselves.
“I was hoping to knock you out before you could identify me...oh well.” Sarchesker rushes at her again, but gives Persephone just enough time to scribble something on her sketchbook, and have a huge metal shield with a paw print design on the front appear to intercept him.
“Your doodles can’t hold me off for long, you know…” Sarchesker growls.
“Why are you here? Whatever happened to ‘staying as far away from me as inhumanly possible’, like you said? I’d ask if you were here to apologize, but that is very obviously not the case…” Persephone laughs nervously.
“Doing a favor for my ex-boss.” Sarchesker states.
“What, Kebaratsu?” Persephone looks shocked. “But, I mean...didn’t he kill you? How does this make any sense?”
“Well, I realized he was right. I am smarter than him. And I could so easily overthrow him if I really tried.” Sarchesker smirks. “So, I’m going to try. But first, I have to get on his good side. And if he wants you brought to him, then so be it.”
“But I-” Persephone starts, but right before her eyes, Sarchesker vanishes. Persephone realizes he’s using his color-changing powers to make himself near-invisible, and tries to track distortions in the room with her eyes. Sarchesker is too fast, however, and suddenly Persephone feels something choking her with her own scarf behind her. With the dwindling strength she has, she tries to hit Sarchesker against the wall. He doesn’t let go, but it creates enough noise to draw the attention of the person in the room next to hers.
“HEY.” Ruitsume’s voice, accompanies by angry banging on the door, arrives a few seconds later. “WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING IN THERE?”
Persephone manages only the shortest scream before her choking intensifies. Still, it’s enough to alert Ruitsume.
“PERSEPHONE, YOU BETTER NOT BE DOING SOMETHING STUPID AND DYING IN THERE AGAIN.” Ruitsume tries to open the door, of course finding it locked. “DON’T MAKE ME BREAK THIS THING DOWN. I WILL MAKE YOU PAY FOR THE DAMAGE.”
Persephone’s grip on consciousness ebbs away, and she stops struggling. After a few more seconds, she passes out. The magic shield she had put up poofs out of existence. Sarchesker turns himself back into his normal color, and looks down upon the passed out witch in his claws.
“PERSEPHONE?!” Ruitsume is now attempting to just pull the entire doorknob off, and Sarchesker can hear it. He isn’t particularly alarmed, though. He only sighs as he looks at Persephone.
“Now...you’re much too colorful for me not to be spotted carrying you away...what was that trick you taught me?” Sarchesker thinks for a moment, all while the door shakes noisily from Ruitsume’s attempts to break in without breaking too much of the hotel, then remembers. He takes a claw and pushes in the paw print shaped button in her belt buckle. there’s a small flash of purple and green before what lies before him is a black cat with a green collar and a small striped purple witch hat.
“How disgustingly cute.” Sarchesker rolls his eyes. “But at least she’s easier to conceal now.” He picks up the cat, her sketchbook, and her pencil, and stuffs all three of them into the bag where the rest of her supplies are kept. He buckles the bag to his waist, and flies out of the window.
A minute too late, Ruitsume gives up on being civil and breaks down the door entirely. When he sees the window open, and no Persephone in the room, she goes to look out of it. She catches Sarchesker’s dark purple form heading away from the hotel in the sky.
“You gotta be kidding me.” Ruitsume puts her palm to her face. “First she dies, now this. Why am I even her friend?!”

When space at the front desk clears up some, Marko and Silversa go up to the counter. to hear what Zed is telling people as they come in.
“Ah. Seems we need to sign in. Please, allow me.” Marko purrs. “I can read all your thoughts anyway, I might as well do both of us.”
“Go ahead, I guess…” Silversa mutters. she eyes everyone else in the lobby carefully wary of all the strangers. Sensing this, Marko tightens his tail’s hold on her waist for reassurance and tries to sign in faster. When he finishes putting down both sets of information, he takes the key to their new room and hurries out of the lobby with Silversa. The cat demon girl seems to calm down some.
On their way up, they spot a familiar bear-sized black and silver cat with flaming wings walking the halls.
“Ah, Ammi!” Marko smiles politely as he greets her. Ammi snaps out of her thoughts and turns to see the pair, her eyes lighting up.
“Oh thank goodness, you made it!” Ammi walks over to hug them both. “Thing these past few months have been tough...you know, with what happened to Sephie and all...you were told, yes?”
“We were.” Marko nods. “It is very unfortunate...she was a true friend to us.”
Silversa says nothing, but the coldness in her eyes gives way to a bit of sadness.
“Anyways...we hoped that maybe having more of our friends here might cheer everyone up, you know?” Ammi gives them a warm smile.
“Of course.” Marko grins.

Outside, Negloria’s glowing eyes intensify, and her hair begins to sway without any wind helping it.
“What...are you doing…” Felixter takes a step back from her.
“Calling my friend for help…” There’s a faraway echo laden within Negloria’s voice as she speaks. She holds out her hands, and a sharp wind presses down on both Negloria and Felixter. Felixter shields himself from it at first, but when he looks back, he sees a dragon in front of them. Not just any kind of dragon, though...this dragon looks to be a ghost. Bits of its form are missing, replaced either with skeleton or ghostly white energy. Its blue and green glowing eyes peer down at the two, and its ghostly purple mane flows freely about. The dragon’s wings are nothing but blue and green light outlines, but they work all the same…
“My god…” Felixter whispers. Negloria’s eyes have ceased glowing, and her voice has gone back to normal.
“She will take us up. The portal she used to get here will suffice.” Negloria explains as the dragon lowers her head. Both of them climb onto the ghoulish beast’s back, and she lifts off into the sky, heading for a portal hidden high into the clouds.
Upon reaching the other side of the portal, they find themselves flying above uncharted wilderness.
“Where are we now?” Felixter inquires.
“About 10 miles from the base of Takai Mountain.” Negloria replies. “We shall land in 9 miles, however...for there is a small settlement I feel you should start the journey at...you’ll see why…”

Amber and Clancy turns around to face Karl, and both of them grin, forgetting their whole stealth mission.
“KARL!” Amber cries. “It’s good to see you!”
“We’re sorry we left you before the whole ‘shadowing’ process was done. We had to go spread mischief.” Clancy explains. “Our stupid daughter-” He gets smacked by Amber before he can continue, and she glares at him. Clancy smiles apologetically. “Right, right, sorry. I’m trying to stop. Anyway, our...uh...lovely daughter was getting married to one of the most important people in the land of the shadows, so we kinda had to be there...even though she’s a Cursed Shadow now. Oh, what a terrible accident that was…”
“At least she’s not as savage as a normal Cursed Shadow.” Amber huffs. “Those things could destroy even the most powerful regular shadows, like you and me! And Karl when we turn him! Which we should do now!”
“Right, right.” Clancy nods, then turns to Karl. “Soooooo, buddy, hows about I bite you with my shadow venom and then we go spook some peeps? Sound good?”

Michael's body trembles with rage as he senses the unknown presence's energy flare up on his radar, it snuffing out Persephone's magic energy, leaving behind a very weak blip as she is carried away from the hotel. However, before he can fully map out the situation in his mind, his concentration his interrupted by a sudden request for his presence by the Head of Security. However, the tactician utilizes his current knowledge and creates a clone out of his own shadow, it extending itself towards a nearby window, taking his own form once it makes its way out to the exterior of the building. Utilizing the original's draconic abilities, the clone gives itself the power of flight via shadow wings and soars off at a breakneck speed, blocking off Sarchesker as fast as if he had warped there. Before the spirit even had a chance to react, the clone slams down on him with a shadow talon, using the momentum of the blow to remove Persephone's bag from him with a swift slash of a shadow claw. The attack sends the spirit hurtling to the ground, his impact most likely leaving some sort of crater. Feeling satisfied with the current results, he walks to main part of the room, pausing before he fully exits the room to turn towards the direction of his children. "You two should take a look outside! We've got a nice view from here.." With that being said, he allows himself to be escorted by the short man.
