Question to the group, specifically @Sho Minazuki: Do you think that Vega's magic should be able to negate the Blinding Gaze? I ask because the magic used for the attack is in his eyes and not neccesarily beiing shot out at Vega, as all it does is shine a really big, really, really bright light in one direction, for a quick second.

@Inertia I believe that got negated by Vega's magic, hence why he's yelling at people and not falling into the lake. That's what I got out of Sho's post, anyway.

Within moments though he would find himself being transported through a rift to the nearby lake. It was well away from the festivities. This just made a lot angrier, although Ria was transported with him, his wrath was now trained in the most concentrated form it has been in months. Without looking he swung his hand in the direction of the voice, who most likely was the one who transported him all the way out here without his permission, and grabbed him with an array of chains mid-sentence, and pulled him towards him.

@Raijinslayer No, Sho didn't see j8's post and edited accordingly. Vega isn't able to negate magic. Being in contact with his magic will cause the victims magic to be drained at a set rate but based on Vega's earlier concerns about fighting Illedrith who uses a long weapon, it has to touch the wizard directly.

He can if he makes a shield of his magic. While his own magic cancels out (and drains) others, it doesn't guard him from magic unless he actually uses it to.

If the blinding effect is induced by the magic though, he can cancel the blind.

Edit: I'm also going to hold off on posting until the location of Odinn and everyone has been confirmed; no need to add even more confusion to the situation before it's resolved.
