@Classpet,

@smarty0114Hey everyone..!
I have some important things to tell you all..! These things will range from plot twists, story arches, quests, special events, games, ect. There will never be a dull moment in the camp; and a big part of thinking it all up, and planning everything out is
you guys..! So here goes nothing! Wish me luck, and pray to the Gods everything I write makes sense! x'D
Ideas, Plots, and Story Arches
Got an idea in your mind..? A plot..? Any story arches (both small and long) that can be played out over time..? Come at me people..! If you have an idea that
you think is good, if you have a plot that will be fun for everyone involved; if you have a whole story arch in mind that's filled with drama... romance... and all that jazz- then don't hesitate to tell me about it..! I want to hear your ideas..! Honest, and truly, I really wanna hear them..!
This roleplay is not just for me... it's for you guys as well; and I love more than anything to hear your ideas, and to try my best to help make them a reality by incorporating them into the story. All you need to do is talk to me about them- shoot me a PM, mention it in the OOC; either one is completely fine by me, I will
always get back to you, even if it might take me a little bit of time to do so. My job as your GM is to make the roleplay as fun as it possibly can be for you all; it's my job- and I have a white board..! Not to mention my trusty document that I save religiously onto my USB that's strictly for roleplaying. I
will write it all down, and together with my Co-GM, we'll start working to incorporate it into the fun..!
I know that we have only just started up the roleplay; but yes, that's right- we have a quest that's already up and will be beginning very shortly. Everyone will have a chance to go out on quests, and have them added to their character's resumes, though I don't think that potential employers take into consideration things like fighting off an ancient cyclops to get a golden fleece... I do have other ideas floating around in my mind, so fret not; if your character doesn't get the chance to be on this particular quest, there will be plenty of other opportunities, and there will also be plenty of things going on in camp at the same time to keep those still there occupied- trust me, aside from the aftermath and picking up the pieces from the affects the quests leave on the camp, there should not be a dull moment. All I ask is that you be patient with me, and if you have an idea for a quest, throw it my way too..! I'm always willing to listen to what you guys want.
As for
how the quests will be run, that's just what I'm about to tell you. :D
When a quest is first put together like the one we have up now; both myself and my Co-GM will discuss between the both of us which character is going to become the leader of the quest. For example; this time around, the quest leader is going to be Griffin. Once the leader has been chosen, I will notify that character's writer, and let them know what's going on- the writer will be notified of this in advance of the quest beginning, this allows them a chance to think about what other characters they personally believe will be right to take on the quest, and let me and my Co-GM know who they have chosen. The amount of characters chosen may vary from quest to quest; though aside from the leader, there will more times than none be three others who go with.
The announcement of quests within the roleplay will be made by either Chiron or Mr.D themselves, and on the rare occasion, they may also be made from the other Gods and Goddesses. Do not grow comfortable with what you believe a quest will be; not all quests will involve fetching an item that has been stolen or lost... and not all quests will be from the Greek pantheon either. Once the announcement has been made, either to the council of cabin leaders or to the camp as a whole, the person who has been chosen to lead the quest will be asked to select the campers they want to go with them- aside from me and my Co-GM, this is where everyone finds out who will be going on the quest.
Once all of that has been sorted out and announced; the quest leader will then be sent up to see the Oracle, Rachel Elizabeth Dare, to get the prophecy. From there, the quest has officially begun, and the group will work together to either make it a success... or a failure.
If you wish to have one of the activities (obstacle course, capture the flag, trial of dreams, ect.) started up in the roleplay for a bit of fun for our characters, please feel free to shoot a message to me in the OOC. For the activities to get the okay to be started up, I ask that at least six of the characters (more than one character for each person is allowed in this) to have interest in participating in the game; this way it helps to bring more competition, and fun to writing it all up.
There will be occasions where a game of capture the flag will be automatically initiated; these times will be when the Hunters of Artemis come to stay at the camp, and the game will be held respectfully on the day following their arrival.
This was something that I really wanted to implement in my last reboot of the roleplay; however due to certain circumstances, I was never able to do so completely.
Halloween, Christmas, Easter, New Years, Australia Day, and any other holiday that our wonderful demigods hold ties to- our characters will be able to experience it all; and some of them, well, they'll even be helping to run the show. There will be three days over each holiday that we, and our characters will be able to celebrate. So for example: the 30th of October, the 31st of October, and the 1st of November will be dedicated to scaring each other, and awesome Halloween parties- the demigod helping to organize this will be Erin. Whereas the 24th, 25th, and the 26th of December (not to mention the typical lead up to those days) will be dedicated to the wonderful holiday of Christmas- this holiday will be organized by the resident holiday cheer demigod, Roy.
Once the three days is up, things will once more return to normal... or well, as normal as you can really get at Camp Half-Blood, right..? And don't worry; during these times I will be sure to schedule any games, quests, ect. on days leading up to and away from holidays so that we won’t have to worry about any of our characters missing out on any of the fun going on in the camp. I also have an idea involving birth dates, however that is something that will be introduced at a later date.
