Personality: Devon is an outgoing teen who is very social between small groups, but cannot handle being the center of attention in a large crowd. He’s quick to make friends while constantly firing off quips and jokes to help keep things light hearted. Devon is patient, but does have his limits for things like long journeys with no excitement or stubborn people/Pokémon. His temper may seem almost non-existent, but do not be fooled. He is relatively good at hiding anger thanks to him seeing his Fathers stern expression for nearly sixteen years. He feels a sense of purpose to help others, and goes out of his way to do so. He is competitive, taking offence to challenges and taking them with little thought in the moment. Thus being hindered by the consequences later. As a child Devon was interested in Pokémon like many children, and thought it to be a good idea to attempt to play with the wild Pokémon living on the routes near his hometowns. The wild Pokémon did not take too kindly to the small kids annoying tendencies however, and Devon was given painful injuries rather than the friends that he wanted so dearly. He eventually succeeded in befriending a wild Starly which he named 'Flappers'. The two played together constantly, with Flappers acting as a gateway to befriend even more of the local Pokémon. Eventually, Devon and Flappers grew apart. Devon wanted his own Pokémon to travel the region and battle with, while Flappers wished to remain wild and free. The two unfortunately parted ways when Devon was nine. Once Devon received Shock as a Mareep for his tenth birthday, he has spent his time traveling both Sinnoh and Johto battling Gyms and making friends.

Goal: Devon has been tasked by Professor Rowan to meet up with Professor Maple and question him of his knowledge of Mega Evolution, and has been given a Key Stone along with Ampharosite in order to test the abilities of the mysterious transformation.

Add the hidden abilty = A target for evil organisation derp.

Also Some shinys look completely badass (shiny Primal legends shiny mega ray Shiny, Mega charizard y, Shiny Mega Gardevior... yup badass shiny's)

Basically any Shiny that makes a pokemon gain the colour black is kinda awesome

Well I have only Gotten one Shiny So Far in game from hatching Multiple eggs of pokémon I wanted too get with a Ditto from another country to increase the chances.

True, I gues what turned me off to them was the part where everyone just spawned in shiny pokemon all the time so they had boxes full of them. I do agree with the black ones though, and some other ones are pretty awesome too, but I just feel as though the whole thing was ridiculous with how people handled it. I personally caught a couple of ACTUAL shiny pokemon though so that was fun and since it was hard earned I enjoyed having them. ANywho, back to working on my post! I have to get ready for class still so no promises I'll finish in time!

Yep, I usually refrain from using Shiny's in Rp's as I knwo they are kinda super rare 'normally'

In the Anime there's been like 2 or so xD. Just to shot they exist...

I mean everyone basically getting a Free legend here is more than enough xD.

Haha fair enough, but I mean it's just an underlining quirk of mine about shiny pokemon. In any event, got a couple of paragraphs up for ya, gonna go finish getting ready, I actually have an hour left, but I don't remember if this is one of the wait two posts before responding RPs, so not sure if you cna just respond or not, because we're just right there at the point of heading to the lab basically XD And I'm highly impatient so that doesn't help :p Suppose we could always do a one on one battle to test each other out since they've both been around the block (If I remember correctly about your character, though his age would definitely suggest it at least.
