sounds like a pleasure to spend time near or with hahahah XD. Depending on how fantastically he trips, Sirina might giggle the first time. She would also apologize and ask if he is okay.. but she might giggle if he is particularly clumsy (she will stop if he tells her of his condition though XD, and then feel horrible about herself and everything hahah)
LOOOL! Sounds like this is going to have to happen... soon. Light's putting up our collab in a min after he fixes the errors. There will be... there always is.
That was hell on earth to color-correct. Holy shit. Credit to Zoidsfan507 on Deviantart
Name: Damian Troi
Gender: Male
Age: 39
Partner:
Voltergeist
Probably the driving reason why an asshat like Damian was recruited as a researcher to begin with. His Rotom, Voltergeist is probably his partner. Aside from trying to figure out how the HELL a pokeball can capture a full on washing machine, fan, fridge, etc when Rotom's possessing it and why it wont when the ghost is not, his Rotom is a massive help in doing machine related work. Advanced technical problem solving is easy as pie with this ghost by his side. And with it's naturally annoying attitude... well, Damian deserves every minute of annoyance he gets.
Moveset: Regular - Hex, Will-O-Wisp, Discharge, Volt Switch Wash - Volt Switch, Hydro Pump, Will-O-Wisp, Pain Split Fan - Volt Switch, Air Slash, Thunderbolt, Will-O-Wisp Mow - Thunderbolt, Leaf Storm, Volt Switch, Will-O-Wisp Frost - Volt Switch, Blizzard, Thunderbolt, Will-O-Wisp Heat - Volt Switch, Overheat, Thunderbolt, Will-O-Wisp
The squaaaad that's on hand:
The Big Man
"Big Guy" or "Big Man" as Damian often calls him, is an obscenely large, monster of a pokemon. Even by Tyrantrum standards. "Big Man" himself stands at a breathtaking 15'7, making him just under twice the size of your average Tyrantrum. "Big Man" has an attitude to match his size. Almost everyone (Beside Damian) is disrespected, or threatened by the Tyrantrum. Although the other pokemon know he's the boss, even they can sometimes be subject to his wrath if they overstep their boundaries.
No one messes with the "Big Man", and walks away unscathed.
Ability - Rock Head Gender - Male Type - Rock/Dragon Moveset - Dragon Dance, Head Smash, Dragon Claw, Earthquake
Jerry
All things considered, from a trainer's standpoint this is possibly the most terrifying pokemon that Damian has in his disposal.
Now, you might be thinking, "Oh, who cares. It's a Ditto. Named Jerry. I can deal with this."
Well, Jerry is a special Ditto. Jerry has a photographic memory. Jerry can become anything he's ever seen, because Jerry remembers everything he's ever seen at a perfect level of detail. Just got done dealing with the "Big Man"? Well how about ANOTHER "BIG MAN"!
Jerry lives on a diet that consists purely of blood.
Jerry does not fuck around.
Ability - Transform Gender - Genderless Type - Normal Moveset - Transform
Carl
Are you starting to notice the Jurassic Park motif I'm running with here? I hope so. Carl is a total beta-frog. He'll dick around of course, probably going to lick things to claim them as his own, that kind of stuff. Doesn't even attempt to fight back against Jean anymore. He needs to hit the gym, start working out more.
Ability - Protean Gender - Male Type - Dark/Water Moveset - Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Protect, Rock Slide
Stored Away
Tiny
Stubborn as an ox. Or a mammoth. Tiny is probably the only one on the team that has the size and the physical power (and typing!) to give the "Big Man" a run for his money. Unlike her rival though, Tiny is a benevolent, gentle giant. She wont go out of his way to step on you, but she sure as hell isn't going to stop herself if you walk in the way.
Jean is probably the nicest pokemon on the team, which really isn't saying much. She puts a lot of time and effort into not giving a shit, and asserting her status as 'top frog' over Carl. She enjoys heavy metal music and enjoys watching extreme sports like BMX, pro-skating, snowboarding, and surfing.
Dynamo is a hard hitting member of the team, and does heavy training on the daily. While this is normally a good thing, her reasons for acting this was are often skewed. Unlike the others, Dynamo really enjoys seeing others in pain. Like, the "Big Man" enjoys feeling dominant, but even he is creeped out by her twisted desire to inflict harm on others. She tends to be quiet and secluded, and Damian gives her the space she wants when she's not feeling social... for everyone's safety.
Rank: Elite. Damian works as a scouter and field researcher. Unlike many organizations before, such as Team Rocket, or Plasma, Royal Skies has set aside ranks for powerful trainers such as Damian, who keep tabs on some of the more interesting trainers coming to light. They seem to always be the ones to step up the challenge, and it's Damian's job to make sure that they're one step ahead. Damian also conducts research on Pokemon demographics. Be it on a large scale or a small scale. Unlike most pokemon trainers these days, Damian finished college, and he applies his prolonged education all the time.
He tends to operate under the guise of a Pokemon Researcher (which he kinda is), and is currently employed by Professor Maple.
Personality:
Not even going to attempt to beat around the bush here. Damian is a total dick. Now, let me explain.
Damian here is an overconfident, cocky, know it all ass of a human being, much like Gary (motherfucking) Oak and his gaming counterpart Blue. The worst part is that he is often able to get away with his antics due to others being too intimidated by his charisma to tell him otherwise. He himself also backs up to his personality by being an excellent strategist. Damian is constantly challenging himself to work smarter, not harder. Because lets face it people, destroying the hell out of forests to air in your training is not doing wonders for the natural ecosystem. Sometimes he's even use Jerry and have his pokemon train against themselves. There is nothing more trying that making someone compete against their literal match.
So, despite being a total ass, Damian suffers from an inferiority complex. He spends a lot of time making sure his walls are strong. This stems from the fact that his twin sister Donna always seemed to be better at everything than him. Hell, she's still the pride of the family. Because he kinda grew up being second fiddle he is a very self conscious person at heart, but as a very intelligent person recognizes this and masks it almost perfectly. He wants to become the mask he puts on - confident, intelligent, powerful. But he, no matter how smart of cunning is still human and has overdone it some, making him cocky, abrasive, and a know-it-all.
No, he's not a nice guy. He's a smart guy, and he'll take care of you because he's not a bad guy. He's just really hard to get along with.
Other: Keystone can be found sewn into his left glove.
@Iatos We should SQUAD up since we're both the bad dudes. Your character could be mine's supervisor or something.
EDIT:
DAMNIT I FORGOT TO DROP THIS OFF TOO.
"Is this thing on? Testing, testing? One, two, three... There we are! So, around twenty years ago, when we first started reviving fossil pokemon, the tech wasn't as state of the art as it is now. Professor Oak theorized that due to the fossil's stone composition, the pokemon isn't restored to it's full original state, but rather a contaminated one. Think of it like... different qualities of coal. Some aren't nearly as pure as anthracite, for example. So, basically we've been working on synthetic optimization. It's a project Roark and Professor Rowan from Sinnoh are working on and are having me test. It's creation was probably based based off of the same kind of tech that allows Porygon2 to evolve into Porygon Z, except not permanent. It's in beta form, but since I have immediate access to a Tyrantrum I was granted our treatment method - a mega stone! Can you believe it? A mega stone! They took Tyranitarite and altered the DNA found in it, replacing it with Tyrantrum genetics. It supposedly returns the pokemon to it's full glory, and refines it's rock typing to it's original state. From what I've been told, all of it's stats, except special attack, increase. Cool huh?" - Damian Troi on Mega Tyrantrumite
Appearance:
Pokemon:
Type: Steel/Dragon
Ability:
Tyrant's Gaze - Decreases the power of the enemy Pokemon (similar to Intimidate), and also gives the chance for an opponent to flinch upon physical contact.
@JunkMail Hmm... This is long... for now I would tone it down a bit on the number of Pokemon. Keep about three or four on you at a time as a member of Royal Skies. Rotom is fine for a partner, just make sure he's in his normal forme most of the time (Unless you want Damian carrying around a Fridge, Washing Machine, etc. all the time). Tyrantrum can stay, and I'll get onto his Mega Forme in a bit. I'll leave it up to you who else you can keep. Personality is fine, but I would change from researcher to Elite. Researcher was intended for the more scientist-like guys. It's the Grunts, Elites, and Admins and stuff that have the super powerful Pokemon.
On to Mega Tyrantrum... Typing I would think is fine. Ability... No. I believe I said in the Mega CS Guidelines "Don't give them a completely overpowered ability." I'm pretty sure being almost immune to to basically all status effects and stat losses is considered overpowered. I can assist a bit with that though.
Ability: Tyrant's Gaze - Decreases the power of the enemy Pokemon (similar to Intimidate), and also gives the chance for an opponent to flinch upon physical contact.
I feel that could suit that more. And keep in mind that this is "Based more on Anime Mechanics than Game Mechanics", meaning that there will be the most minor of game mechanics implemented.
Just edited it down. When you said four pokemon, do you mean four, and the partner? Or three, and the partner making four in total?
Rotom totally wouldn't be moving between forms all the time. It'd be a situational possession thing. Those forms are just the only ones it can do battle in and have a type change. Sure, Rotom could possess a train or a friggin F-15 fighter jet, but it wouldn't get any stat increases or type changes.
Just edited the ability.
"I believe I said in the Mega CS Guidelines "Don't give them a completely overpowered ability." I'm pretty sure being almost immune to to basically all status effects and stat losses is considered overpowered. I can assist a bit with that though."
I understand how you feel about the stat losses part, but regarding status effects if we're playing by anime over game (and even if we were playing by game for that matter...), burn still does passive damage at -12% per turn, toxic still racks up damage over time, and it can still be immobilized by paralysis (which would probably come down to a dice roll anywho). It's speed/attack power just isn't halved by the status effects, respectfully.
Once again, I totally understand, I just feel the need to explain myself. You probably didn't mean to sound like this at all, but so you're able to do your job better as GM and prevent conflicts, the wording (I believe I said...) made that part seem kinda condescending. If I may, I'd suggest adding some more guidelines to that specific part of the OP, because with abilities like Wonderguard in the pokemon game, the line between okay and overpowered becomes unclear.
