Introductions

Price was in his house unsure if he should even bother going outside. He stood there for a few minutes and decided it would be better to stay here and watch TV. He sat on his couch and turned it on.

Arin was at the beach, watching the waves as usual while waiting on his girlfriend, Ayaka. I wonder if we'll finally get to have some fun. He thought to himself as there were times that someone would ruin any fun they tried to have and was hoping it wouldn't happen for once.

Jonathan was walking along the sidewalk in the city, wondering what he should to do today. There were a couple shops and restaurants, not to mention other buildings as well. He kept walking.

Virgil was sitting under a tree in the park, reading a book. He leaned back on the tree as he flipped through pages of his book.

Will Ashborn flew above the ocean, his eyes on the waves and people below. At the height he was currently flying, he was sure that noone would notice him. He flew over the beach and towards the city itself, his black wings keeping him aloft as he stared at the scenery, smiling to himself.

'...This is the one time where I don't see the sand littered with bodies in my mind. Maybe it's a good sign.' He thought, as he neared one of the tall city buildings in a downwards dive. He landed atop it, gently, rolling as he did so. Will caught himself on the edge of the roof, swinging back on as he rested his wings. They slowly folded into his back, through thin two lines that were cut into his shirt. His green eyes stared at the city, as he listened for anything. Anything he could hear that was carried on the wind.

Neva walked into the city plaza, trying not to get hit by a car and such, she passed the street and looked throughout the restaurants and bars as she had been feeling quite peckish. She walked into one of the bars absent-mindedly after seeing "alcohol." her eyes glazed over as she walked in.
The bartender was a young man, and the bar had been barren and empty. He said "Miss, you look a bit underage. May I see your id?" Neva rolled her eyes and said "Sure."

Neva pulled out her wallet, and then put it on the counter. She blew into her palm and frost coated the man, knocking him over and turning him into a human popsicle. She jumped the counter and started to pull from the shelves, looking through the various types of Whiskey. She hummed to herself and couldn't decide what she wanted.

Then...Will rolled off of the back of the tall building, because it was his usual landing place. Where he had rolled off was a small Alley. As he fell through the air, he righted himself to where he would land on his feet when he did land, his wings shooting out to cause his descent to be slower. Enough to where Will wouldn't break anything.

As he landed, his wings refolded. Will then sighed in relief as he saw nobody had seen him.

He began to walk around, through the plaza, past the restaurants that encompassed the street. As he neared the bar with the whiskey rummaging Neva, he stopped, sniffing the air...He smelled snow. He followed it to where he could see the girl and the frost covered man, his expression calm as he stepped into the bar.

"...Bit early to be freezing people, ain't it?"

Neva turned her head around and got a quick glance on the male. "I just wanted some liquor, leave me be." she hopped off the stool she used to reach off the top shelf and turned to him. "Please don't make me do something I wouldn't want to do."

Will raised his hands quickly and shook his head, fighting back a grin. "I didn't say I was going to stop you. I encourage you to freeze me if you want to try, though." He said to Neva, as smoke began to curl off of his fingertips, before one hand went out and he reached into his pocket, to pull out his wallet. "I just wanted to ask if I paid, you'd split a bit with me. Though...I might not be able to fly for a day or two."

The male looked at Neva calmly, his green eyes showing that he was being serious. "And if you think this is me just trying to strike up a conversation that won't get me frozen, It's harder to freeze a half demon than you would think."

Jane stood on the roof building, katana in the chest of a demon who had been causing some trouble. The demon fell to his knees and looked at Jane with a look of fear frozen on his face. He then seemed to disintegrate into ash, blowing into the wind. "Pitiful..." she muttered. She was about to head back to her mansion when she saw something peculiar through the window of a plaza across the street: a young girl freezing a man who appeared to not have done anything wrong. A look of anger planted itself on her face. She pulled out her sniper and silently aimed at the girl, who was now rummaging through bottles alcohol. She aimed the gun at the girl's head, before pulling the trigger.

Will then went into motion as the sound of a sniper rifle had began to sound. His smoking hand shot out, a flame blazing into life at the base of the windows. This flame was dark blue, and did not burn through anything it was around...But it stopped the bullet from coming in by disentigrating it. It showed his precise speed and control over fire, and how fast his reflexes were. Though, thankfully, he raised it in time due to the distance and how little time he had to recover. His eyes narrowed as he dropped the wall of flames, before looking for the sniper.

James slowly faded into existence behind the girl that he had just seen try to shoot Neva in the head with a sniper rifle. "Y'know, it's not very nice to shoot people in the head. You might hurt someone~" he said, grinning slightly as he took a drag of his cigarette, golden eyes glowing slightly. "Someone might even die!" He seemed way too cheerful for talking about someone dying or getting hurt.

Neva jumped at the sight of the fire, and felt kind of bothered by it. This dude used fire? Her polar opposite? She shuddered and tried to back away. "W-What even was that? Is that Guardian chick around? I'm so sick of her, killing off all of my acquaintances. Well, except for you I guess. Speaking of which, I haven't gotten your name."

She had the mask of niceness over her careless self, she needed to know if Will could be an asset.

Will glanced back at Neva, before speaking softly. "My name is Will, but I need to know yours if you know mine. And who is the Guardian?" He tilted his head as he spoke, pushing both hands into his pockets. Will kept looking out the window, His green eyes darkening. "Hang on, I'm going to do something to block out the light. When I say move, Move behind the bar counter."

He began to gather the darkness around him, into a sphere that resonated with Will's internal emotions. Then it expanded to cover the windows of the bar with darkness, but leaving the lights inside on. The darkness blocked incoming and outgoing rays of light, making it seem as if the windows were blacked out. "Move now." He told Neva.

Neva ducked under the counter and called out "Neva! It's Neva!" she curled up into a fetal position and held her ears, trying to protect her person as much as she could. "The Guardian hunts down people who aren't Human. I like to think of her as an interspecies bigot." She snickered at her own joke, and tucked her head downward between her upper chest and legs.

Will grinned at her response, before he moved to pick the frozen man up and place him in front of the counter, leaping over it to land on one knee. His green eyes still held their dark look, as he looked out one of the windows, his eyes adjusting to see the outside. "Nice joke. Nice to meet you too, I guess. I knew I should've gone to the beach today." He said to Neva, half complaining at the circumstances of their meeting. But his tone was playful, betraying the dark look his eyes gave off.

Jane frowned as her bullet was disintegrated. "Hm..." was the only sound she made. She then heard a voice come from behind her. She seemed completely unfazed by the voice. "She killed an innocent man. My job is to rid the world of people like her." Jane then jumped off the building and shot her grappling gun through the broken window of the plaza. She flew through the air and landed in the bar. "Stop girl! I don't what to hurt you if I don't have to!" she exclaimed, drawing both her guns, pointing one at each of the creatures.

Neva jumped up from the floor and shot a blast of ice out of her hand, coating the floor in frost attempting to trip her. She booked it through the bar and yelled at Will "I'M SORRY DON'T DIE." she said bluntly. She pointed her shoulder out and slammed it against the back door, opening it and her flying into the back alley. She ran down the alley, leaving a trail of frost behind her.

Will then laughed as the gun was pointed at him, standing slowly with a hand raised. The darkness moved at an astounding speed as the girl crashed through it, flying into the end of her pistols. It then turned solid, the darkness having compressed itself to cause the guns to weigh more while making shooting them somewhat impossible. Because if she tried...The darkness would block the bullet and the gun would be useless because of the bullet lodged inside. "Hold it."

He knew When Neva ran out that he was on his own. This should be fun. A lot of fun.

As Jane was in the bar, James's voice was heard from behind her again, speaking casually. "So, you're one of those supernatural hunters, eh?"

As Neva iced the floor, Jane slipped and fell on her back. She got onto her knees, before pulling out her sword and shoving into the floor, using it to prop herself up. It was clear that she hadn't equipped the correct weapons for these two, but she got what she came for: their faces and their powers. When she stood up again, she pulled her sword out of ther ground and backflipped out of the window, dropping a flash bomb to stun them long enough for her to make her escape. When she was about ten feet from the ground, she grappled onto a nearby building and swung away back to her mansion, spiderman style.

James sighed at being completely ignored before he looked over at Will. "Women, right?" he asked, grinning as he took another drag of his cigarette.

Will then dusted his hands off, his vision clearing up as he looked at the other man. "You're right. And Nice entrance." He commented, the floor defrosting as he waved a hand. As he moved to the bottles, he looked at the man. "Maybe you should tap her shoulder?" He added, as He grabbed two bottles of liquor, putting the cash on the counter. He walked out, following the trail of frost that Neva had left behind. "Oi! Neva! Wait up!" He shouted, as he thought about this "Guardian". Time to visit the library and research.
