"Need any help?" Kos asked.

"I guess the city streets toughen you up some" Orna replied.

"I see. She has those scars too. I saw them briefly the last time we met her" Veax added.

Vespion thought on it. "How exactly was he hurt?"

Larek took that one. "We don't really know, but his arm is injured."

"Alright. If you two take me to him, I'll see what I can do." Vespion replied. "Consider this a favor."

"You can chop up some vegetables" Sasha said

"Somewhat. Although, where we lived was pretty safe. Normally. I was attacked, one night, coming home, the city was in lock down, so thugs were out taking advantage I guess" tran said

hermia nodded, "nyx was clumsy at first, she hurt herself sometimes. "

"Thank you" nyx said gratefully, starting to head back, "I already feel like we owe you so much. I will happily return the favor anytime"

"Heh. Cutting things. That's something I can do." Kos got some lettuce, spinach, cucumbers, and a few onions out. He picked up the kitchen knife and was tempted to swing it like his sword for a moment. "Then again, I prefer a larger blade" he added with a smile as he started cutting.

"Oh yeah. I think I remember that" Orna said, unsure if she had seen it or if he had told her about it before.

"How did that happen? I mean, those scars she has looked like she must have cut herself" Veax replied.

"Just lead me to him, please. I'm needed back here in a few hours to give a sermon." They led Vespion to the house in just under an hour. "Alright, now, if you two could show me where he is, please."

Sasha smiled, "I imagine it is different to weilding a sword. More delicate"

"Mm I did still have the bandages when we met" Tran said

"That, and Redding, her teacher, did take her out on an adventure that turned dangerous. Thats why he got her armor, not that she ever wore it" hermia said, "but a majority of them were from training"

Nyx headed inside, fidning Prudence and Railing, "we brought Vespion"

"Yeah, more like what my half-sister uses. Rhiga always was skilled with dagger, but never a sword" Kos noted.

"I remember those, but I also remember caring far more about you than those" Orna replied.

"Wait, she had armor? I mean, I guess it would have been useful, but a female of our species wearing that much is odd to think about. Then again, she had that shirt on so I guess she was unusual indeed" Veax replied. "Then again, I'm unusual for not using a shirt so who I am to judge?"

Vespion approached Railing. "That's me, I'm Vespion. Now, could you tell me what's wrong?"

"Doesnt it take strengtj to weild z sword properly?" Sasha asked, starting to cook thr meet

Tran smiled, "for which, I am glad"

Hermia nodded, "but not that many, at least comoared to males, females fight. So, I doubt its thought of that they need armor"

"Muscle damage, I guess" railing said, "I dont know"

[Aristocles]

"Yeah, but not really very much for a light one" Kos explained. "Females can use things like foils, epees, rapiers, and some other lighter weapons just as well as the males."

"I guess that injury is all better now?" Orna asked.

"Well, you make a good point" Veax replied.

Vespion examined Railing. "Hmm. Let me try this first." He put his hands on Railing's arms and used a healing spell, causing the injured area to glow briefly with a golden light. "Is that any better?"

"Oh, right" sasha said, makingnsure the meat didnt burn

tran nodded, "just a small scr to show it was even there"

"But nyx found it hard to move it, and maintain jer flexibility" hermia said

railing watched, tensing, having to control himself to not lash out, to not move away. "I don't know. It feels the same"

Kos smelled the air as the food cooked. "Smells good. I have the vegetables right here."

Orna looked over and saw it. "That's not a scar" she said, laughing. "Now my father, he has some real scars. On his chest."

"I suppose she, Larek, Caex, and I are of the same mindset when it comes to armor" Veax admitted.

"Hmm. This next one should work for sure. It will regenerate any missing or otherwise permanently damaged tissue" he applied more magic, this time resulting in a whitish glow.

Sasha took the vegafables, starting to cook them as well

Tran chuckled, "it was a knife, and my mother has good healing skills" tran said

"It looks hard to use. Bulky" hermia said

railing gritted his teeth to prevent from crying out, "is it meant to hurt?"

"Maybe we should add some spices?" Kosjurec suggested.

"Well, whatever caused it, it makes you look tough" Orna kissed her finger and gently pressed it to the scar, laughing.

"Not to mention uncomfortable" Veax added.

"Yes. That's the muscle regenerating. If you felt nothing, it wouldn't be working" Vespion assured Railing.

Sasha was already getting some out, to add, "yup"

"I'm tough without scars" tran said with a smile

"Do many people wear armor anyway?" Hermia asked

it was almost burning pain, a d Railing shuddered. Just like when they had injured him to begin with. He had to fight for control, to not thrash out. Prudence reached out, tzking his other hand, "its okay" she whispered

[Aristocles]

"Maybe some carrots too?" Kos suggested.

"Just like Kos" Orna said. "Then again, he wishes he had as many as my father did."

"Yeah. It's sometimes used as a status symbol" Veax explained.

"Here, this should kill the pain" Vespion used a third spell, which caused a light blue glow. It dulled the pain considerably but did not end it. "The damaged muscle should be restored in a few moments."

Sasha nodded, putting some in

"Farm work doesn't lead to scars generally" tran said

"Right" hermia said with a nod "but not a necessary one, really"

"Fine" railing said, looking away, and down

"Those are surprisingly good" Kos explained. "I'm not sure why."

"Good, too. I don't want you getting hurt" Orna said.

"Pretty much" Veax replied.

"Well, it's fixed now. Try it out" Vespion replied.

"They are" Sasha said, smiled, "because they are"

"Therefore, I'll try not to" trN said

"Oh well. Neved understand why anyome needs to flaunt status in anycase" hermia said

Railing hesitated, "how?"

"I see..." Kos said, not seeing at all. "How about we add some salt?"

"Good. We need you strong for the nest" Orna replied.

"I don't understand it either. It might be something to ask your parents, or maybe mine" Veax replied.

"Move your arm in a way that used to hurt" Vespion replied.

"I will be" tran said

"Daily tasks never really hurt much" railing said softly, "it was whenever I tried to fight, or use my sword"
