"Well, you still became very good at cooking, regardless" Kos noted.
"Is there any kind of clothing you need?" Orna asked.
"I prefer living on a farm, though" Veax replied, smiling.
"Now, we can relax, I guess" Larek replied. "I'm glad we helped Railing, even though he didn't seem too grateful."
Back on Adykon's farm...
Aerta sat down in her magic laboratory, getting comfortable on her plush blue cushion. Being an archmage, she had quite a few friends in the magical world and more than a few ways to contact them. Today, she preferred to use her crystal ball. It was an antiquated method, to be sure, but it was just as time-tested as it was old-fashioned. Placing her claws on the smooth blue sphere, she focused on Jammy and Danae, the mothers of those who had married her oldest children.
Aerta's eyes briefly glowed a light blue, a hue matching her cushion, her clothing, and the color of the room in general. The particular shade might very well be described as Cerulean, but the dracon female didn't much care for the coloration at the moment. Placing her clawed hands on the crystal sphere, she projected an image of herself in front of Jammy and Danae, appearing to both of them at once. Aerta could see each of them through her two eyes, and if she wanted the visions not to overlap, all she had to do was to close one eye and open the other, with Jammy appearing in her left eye, and Danae in her right.
The image before the other two females was a translucent vision, almost like a ghost if not for the colors, indicating that Aerta was still very much among the living. She spoke the same message to both females, who could both see and hear her, and she could see and hear them in return.
"Hello there. I don't suppose you've been contacted quite like this before. Anyway, I was wondering if the two of you might meet with your husbands and see if we can arrange a meeting of our families. Now that we are starting to have grandchildren, it might be important for us to plan some things for the long term" she said.
