[Aristocles]

Larek put his strong hands on her shoulders. "Just tell me where to begin, my love."

Kos was slower than she was, given how top-heavy he was and how he didn't exactly cut a lithe figure in the water.

Veax fed the chickens as well. "Sure beats dusting, sweeping, or emptying the chamber pots" he added with a laugh.

"I was thinking a little pseudodragon" Orna explained. "It can talk, and it would have to willingly agree to stay with us."

"Well, it is our child," Avera said with a grin before the hatchling tumbled out of the egg. Avera reached forward and carefully scooped the hatchling up and looking it over. "It's a boy."

"Where ever" Nyx said, letting her eyes close, wrapping her arms gently around her belly, almost protectively.

Sasha reached the other side, shifting around in the water to swim back to Kos, smiling

"It does" hermia agreed, laughing as well

"Alright then, we can see about that too" tran said

Caex walked over to the child and, seeing how Avera was still holding him, gave him a nuzzle instead. The little dracon made some chirps, but he didn't cry or make much noise, which was a good sign. He nuzzled his father back with his tiny little snout. Aura moved over to the hatchling as well, but didn't interfere, knowing that the parents would need some time. Eventually, she asked them a question. "Does he have a name?"

Larek began to knead her shoulders. "How's this feel, love?"

Kos finished the race several seconds after Sasha. "You win, dear."

"I suppose the next thing to do is to collect the eggs. It feels weird, you know. I mean, we dracons lay eggs too" Veax told Hermia.

"Did you want a pet?" Orna inquired, her tail wrapped around her left leg.

Nyx let her eyes close "good" she said happily enough

Sasha smiled "I made more fr water then you"

Hermia laughed "well, yeah, but none of these chicken eggs will result in a chick, without a rooster right?"

"I've never had a pet" tran said, with a shrug

"I just want you to be happy" Larek said to his wife, working his way down and rubbing in little circles. After about 15 minutes, he was done. "How do you feel now?"

"Agreed, but I'm better on land" Kos said, stepping onto the grass.

"Correct, although we have a couple of roosters" Veax pointed out. "And you have me. Be glad I don't take as many mates as a rooster does" he added with a smile.

"Oh. Well, are you okay with having one in the house?" Orna asked.

Avera smiled and softly cooed to the hatchling, carefully swaddling it in the cloth. "Hmm... I like the name Auryn. What do you think?" She asked, looking up at Caex.

Ryland looked at the blue hatchling with a smile and hugged Aura.

"I am happy" Nyx said with a smile. "Restless. But good"she said after a moments thought.

Sasha climbed out as well, "well that's true" she said, looking up to the sun, enjoying it's warmth

"I am glad I get you all to myself " hermia said smiling

"I'm happy to have one" tran said

"A good name" Caex said. "So it shall be. Now, we really should make sure he is okay. He looks fine, but we need to make sure. Maybe we could set him on the table?" Caex didn't quite know what he felt. He obviously loved his child, but it was a very new feeling for him, much like his love for Avera, but deeper still. He didn't know that such love was possible.

Aura returned the hug. "I won't tell you two how to care for him, but if you ever need me, I'd be happy to help."

"Some exercise might help with that restlessness" Larek suggested.

"Well, we've got plenty of space. Care to walk through the green grass? Or run, if you'd like" Kos asked.

"I could never love another female like I love you" Vaex said, giving a hug.

"Alright. Good to know" Orna told him. "I'd like to use the gate stone my mother gave me to teleport us to a place to buy the pet and some more sheep, maybe early tomorrow."

"Maybe" Nyx agreed, shifting and stretching slightly, "I just don't want to sit"

"I like the grass. It's soft. Let's run" Sasha said, running a foot over the grass

Hermia returned to hug, "I'm glad for that"

"Alright" tran said "that sounds like a plan. I should go see about where the sheep could go then"

Avera nodded and stood, walking over to the table and gently laying Auryn down on the table. "That's a good baby," She said softly to help keep him calm.

"We both will," Ryland said.

[Aristocles]

"Nice to see your gravidness hasn't made you lazy" Larek said, wondering if 'gravidness' was even a real word. "We can go outside, get some fresh air."

Kos ran after her, easily catching up. He kept his speed down so she wouldn't be left behind. The sun was out, the grass was soft, life was good.

"Now, is there anything else you want to do?" Veax inquired.

"In the meantime, I'd like to see how you are doing? I mean, I'm sure you are alright, but as I've said before, this farm depends on your muscles. If something is wrong, please let me know" Orna said to Tran.

Caex looked at Auryn, extending a finger towards the child. "Hello there. I'm your father" he said in a soft tone. He gently poked the child in the stomach, causing the infant dracon to laugh. He still had some of the amniotic fluid from the egg still on his limbs, but he was drying off quickly. "You like that?" Caex said, giving his son a kiss on his tiny forehead. Auryn had two little horns extending from his skull, as all dracons did.

"He's probably still cramped from his time in the egg" Aura said to them.

"Its diffult to sit around and do nothing o matter what" Nyx said, then hesitated, "but what if we are outside, and the egg wants to come?"

Sasha found herself laughing. Perhaos she had been staying I side too much. She slowed after a few momemts, enjoyomg jerself.

"Hm. I dont really know" hermia said, looking about there, "is there anything else that needs to be done?"

"I dont think anything is wrong" tran said with a smile

Avera smiled at the sound of her son's laughter, gently stretching out Auryn's arms and legs. "It looks like we've got ourselves a very happy baby," She said, kissing one of Auryn's little hands.

[Aristocles]

"I'd be happy to be out of that shell too" Caex said. "He seems very active for someone who just hatched. He's also rather long for a child so very, very young..." Caex added, not sure if that was a good sign. "He's going to quite tall, I think."

"Then I'll be with you when it gets here" he explained.

"Remember how we first met?" Kos asked Sasha.

"Well, some field work, but it can wait" Veax said.

"Good to hear" Orna replied. "In that case, want to do some exercises?"

Nyx smiled, "alright" she said, reassured

sasha nodded, "I don't think I will ever forget that" she said

"Well, okay" hermia said, brushing of her hands of some loose chicekn feed

"Exercises sound good" tran sais with a smile

"Well, I was already expecting tall sons, since the men in both of our families are fairly large. And he's probably antsy, happy to be able to stretch his arms, legs, and tail out.

[Aristocles]

"He seems a bit wound up" Caex admitted. "Aura, could you take a look at him?" His sister did so. "Hmm, well, if you turn him on his stomach and give him a gentle scratch or a little rubbing, he might calm down. He's probably not used to having so much room, too" she explained.

"You know I'll always be there for you" Larek said to Nyx. "When it is time to lay the egg, I'll be there."

"We hit it off pretty fast. Then again, we really needed each other, I think." Kos explained.

"How about we pay one of your sisters a visit? Or one of my brothers?" Veax suggested. "Or maybe Tran and Orna?" he added.

"Great. Let me get my top on and we'll go outside" Orna explained.

Avera nodded and picked Auryn up, laying him over her arm and gently rubbing his back.

Auryn let out a few chirps and a little squeal. Then he relaxed, his little arms clinging to his mother. He stopped squirming and relaxed.

"Looks like he enjoys it" Caex commented.
