[Aristocles]

"Oh. Well, hmm. I suppose I can talk to her later" Aerta said. "Do your human children use much footwear, apart from Avera at times? It's not something dracons make, so its either going to have to be imported or made at home."

[GhostWing]

"Working and around horses is when they mainly wear them and I can get shoes easily enough," Danae said, settling the hatchling in a cradle.

[Aristocles]

"Good to hear. Thanks. So, if I may be so bold as to ask, how did a human woman like you have the taste to marry a dracon? I suppose Avera would have the same answer as to why she liked my son." Aerta queried.

[GhostWing]

"Well, what did you see in Adykon?" Danae asked.

[Aristocles]

"Hmm. A good question. I saw courage, strength, duty, loyalty, determination, and the willingness to do the right thing even when it was not easy. I also appreciated his views on fate, that it doesn't bind us. He and I are both fierce believers in free will. Also..." she gave a dirty smile. "Since its just us girls and your daughter won't understand, if I may say, he came with an excellent set of equipment down there. It wasn't what made me love him, but it certainly helped later."

"I saw much the same in Adair. And he didn't run from my evil aunt like most men. He's a gentle giant that could protect his family," Danae said before laughing. "And he also was well endowed."

[Aristocles]

Aerta chuckled a bit "Especially next to your human men, he most certainly would be. I suppose the makers of my species threw it in as a gift to us females, or, in all likelihood, to make the breeding process easier. Or at least more enjoyable. So we might want to do it more. Heh. Anyway, I was thinking we could practice a bit of magic together. Oh, Jammy, I don't mean to exclude you, but... you can certainly watch."

"Marx and I have talked about having more children" Jammy said, answering the previous question

[Aristocles]

Aerta turned to Jammy. "Good for you two! It must be hard to have an empty nest, after having so many children near to you for so long. I remember how lonely I was before having my family."

Jammy shrugged, "It isn't so bad. We enjoy the time to be together"

"I suppose a break between having kids is fine" Aerta replied.

Jammy was silent for a few moments, "we haven't exactly had any success since Nyx was hatched. So I guess we both just decided it was easier on us to just be happy with the children we have, and we are"

[Aristocles]

"Well, if you ever needed any help concieving, I suppose I could help. Maybe Danae could help, seeing as she used magic to help Caex and Avera conceive Auryn. Still, it's not my call to make, do what you want" Aerta told Jammy.

"I guess we will just see what happens" Jammy said

[Aristocles]

"Yeah. Just make sure you and Marx let nature take its course, and whatever happens will happen." Aerta replied. Then, she smiled a bit. "If you have a new egg on the way, be sure to tell me and we can throw you a party. We should have done that earlier for the other recent eggs in this family, I think."

"I'm sure there will be a lot more opportunities to do so" jammy said

[Aristocles]

"Yeah, that's something for you and Marx to deal with" Aerta replied, turning back to Danae. "So, you want to practice some spells together?"

[GhostWing]

"Sure, we can practice, what are your areas of expertise?" Danae asked.

[Aristocles]

"Well, I'm more of a ritual mage, especially in the field of scrying and traveling the astral plane. As you might have guessed, I'm also an expert on teleportation. I can cast illusions too, mostly with the help of magical devices. As for combat, I'm good at the usual, like fireballs and lightning bolts" Aerta explained.

"I see, I tend to dabble in a bit of everything," Danae said.
