And we need to come up with a chain of command or the JL. Obviously Cap is the head/Captain/whatever under Lex. But I'd like to see someone else be able to lead the team occasionally. If they have to split up. Cap's needed elsewhere etc... And to have it kind of written out so I just don't have to make things up on the fly.
Is there anyone who wants the position? I know who I want, but I'm slightly biased to that character anyways.
Captain America Black Widow Thor Zatanna The Flash Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) Aquaman Ant-Man (Batman)
I mean, it does make sense given her experience and time working with SHIELD.
Hell, if Batman wasn't on “I’m busy, call me when it's important” mode I’d give him a vote, but Batman is always a sort of “unofficial” member of most incarnations of the JLA anyway.
You guys are missing the obvious choice of Making Killer Moth Supreme Overlady of all creation. She's the only logical choice for combating Thanos.
Excuse you? Has anyone else lead a country since before they were a teenager? Fought countless wars and commanded thousands of brave warriors?! Clearly, Orin is the obvious choice for a leader.
And not seen a civil war brewing in two decades, nor been able to defend his wife and child. OK, I see your point, maybe he shouldn't lead.
And P.S. @Vandy I took Cap for me at your word. No take-backies anymore.
That's fine, think I'll start work on a Martian Manhunter sheet. Or maybe Gambit to get some more mutants up in here. Plus Gambit is Cajun, and I'm Cajun. Hmmmmm.
Oh and my vote for leader número dos would be Aquaman. King of Atlantis seems to have pretty good leadership ability.

Excuse YOU? God of Thunder here, Prince of Asgard (Prince of a mythical real uhyeah!), who else here has lived millenia and ascended to literal godhood? Divine right to rule people! Also a pretty good leader of warriors into battle, beloved by millions, clear powerhouse, wonderful hair, need I go on?
If not him then I vote Captain Marvel, along with a future joke featuring nepotism for captains...
@Sep I've always wondered about this - is it that you can't see it against the grey background or that it looks similar to another colour?
Because it's dark, I find it hard to pick out. I can see that it's there but I need to highlight it to read it. I can't remember when but at one point I remember I ignored someone by accident as I actually could not read their text :P
In my defence he is at a different point than ASM Hulk and has a slightly different origin (Cross between the two Hulk movies) :P.
He also already has two enemies! :O
Three if you include Lux.
Tony Stark and Reed Richards use their genius to save the world every other week. That's how they'll be remembered in history. Meanwhile, I – I who, forgive me, have just as much to contribute – will be lucky if my tombstone doesn't simply say "Hulk Smash."
Name: Doctor Robert "Bruce" Banner
Alignment: None
Affiliation: Lawful Chaotic (Can be Chaotic Evil if enraged to the point of Savage)
History:
Bruce was raised by his father, an esteemed scientist working for the US military. Trying to secure the nations future during the Cold War with the Nuclear arms race. As Bruce grew older he began to notice the tenuous relationship that his father and mother seemed to have. As things became worse for his father at work, things became worse at home.
When his father lost his job working for the military he turned to drinking and violence, after several scenes of domestic violence a young Bruce called the police on his own father. Securing his and his mothers safety, the last time Bruce wanted to see his father was the court proceedings. He didn't want to speak to him again, and he didn't want people to suffer like he did. He vowed to do all that he could to make the world a better place, and he'd do that with his natural talent. The same natural talent that ruined his fathers life, he turned to science.
Though he should have known he wouldn't be lucky to escape so easily. In a blind and drunken fury, claiming that his work in radiation had tainted Bruce his father came at him with a knife. Likely just jealousy that Rebecca, Bruce's mother, held more love towards their son than he did to her. In a final act of love and compassion she stood in the way, but undeterred he killed her in a blind fury. That, was the last time he saw her. As he was then moved to a mental insitution and Bruce went to live with his aunt Susan.
His aunt convinced him that he didn't have to live the life of his Fathers sins, and use his intellect to benefit those in the world. Bruce became a prodigy, as he grew older he took an interest in Nuclear Science as it was a growing industry. The power to change the world itself, he studied at the Desert State University in New Mexico (A location that would become important later in life) before going on to study at Harvard and then gain his Doctorate from the California Institute of Technology all in the various realms of Nuclear Physics. He became a big name in the field, but wanted to do good in the world.
Though he couldn't get any funding, no-one wanted to fund bright eyed dreams of making the world a better place.
He worked for the U.S. Military for a period of time, however eventually LexCorp came to creation in 2003 and while the idea of changing employer didn't really appeal to him, however when they were awarded all the lucrative contracts Banner saw his chance, LexCorp was obviously the way forward as the military would never fund his research. Perhaps an up and coming company would be his way to do the research he wanted, he'd just have to work his way from the bottom up. Within a couple of months Bruce was working on new weapon contracts within the company as it began to compete with Stark Technology and Hammer Industries. He was on the right track.
Something interesting happened however when LexCorp introduced a medical branch. Seizing his chance he sent his idea up the chain on how to use Radiation to improve the human body. Effectively become immune to radiation and improve the human body, obviously some of the fat cats would label that as super soldier however all major technological developments did typically start as a military project. This was something he knew could work, and obviously some of the powers at be felt it could work too as it was approved.
Moving to a facility near Vista Verde, like all origin stories, not everything went to plan. When the machines malfunctioned Bruce managed to save the life of one of his fellow employees at risk to himself absorbing what was easily a lethal dose of Gamma radiation, he would be lucky to survive to the end of the week. Without second thoughts he grabbed the vial of formula and injected himself. Much to his lab partner, Rick Jones', great displeasure. What happened next, could never be predicted. Bruce doubled over in pain as his bones began to grind on one another and his muscles... grew, somehow. His skin turning a dark green and he kept growing till he was easily seven foot tall.
Beating two giant fists on the ground he walked over to the machine, picking it up with impossible strength and throwing it through the wall. Hulk continued to rampage through the facility until he just disappeared. Seeing the damage the Hulk (Or so the papers were calling him) could do Rick saw no choice but to destroy all their data and all of the experiment, blaming it on Bruce to prevent himself ending up in jail Rick was just sad that this meant that helping his friend would become nigh impossible...
Bruce, and Hulk have been on the run ever since. Conflicting with eachother at every turn, LexCorp and the authorities seemingly around every corner ready to spring a trap on them. Eventually Bruce managed to hide out in Canada where he got in touch with a Doctor on the internet who went by the alias Doctor Blue, while he went with Doctor Green. Together they discussed the prospect of a cure, a way to cure Banner of his affliction, as such Bruce shared the chemical make up of the chemical he had taken to save himself from Gamma Radiation and thus turned him into the Hulk.
Unknown to him Doctor Blue a.k.a Samuel Sterns actually worked for LexCorp and had always considered Bruce a rival, so wasn't trying to cure him but take his work and kill him. Offering the chemical to LexCorp, due to it's "succes" with Bruce it was approved for a human trial on the basis that the individual was not bombarded with nuclear radition. The test subject was a gun for hire and ex-Russian mercenary Emil Blonsky. When the chemical apparently worked, Sterns went about thinking of a way to kill Bruce rather than let him find a way to counteract his own work, or worse destroy it.
Still using the alias Doctor Blue he managed to convince Bruce to venture to the old lab in Vista Verde where he had developed a machine that would bombard Bruces cells with more Gamma Radiation than they could handle feeling that it was the easiest way to kill Bruce. Obviously Bruce wouldn't know the machine was active before too late, little did he know the consequences that it would have. Emil Blonksy in his new power had become fixated on getting in a fight with the Hulk, so when LexCorp told him to follow Stern to see what he was up to he was thrilled at the prospect of a fight with the Hulk. It would seal the fate of the three of them.
On arriving in the facility Stern activated the machine, however before it could begin it's work Stern noticed Emil. In shouting for him to get out of the way Bruce was alerted and fled. However the radiation would still do a job. Emil was affected in a worse way than Stern, growing into a giant Hulk sized monster. Though later it would be made clear that he had retained the same intellect. Stern himself miscalculated, even from behind the shielding his body was irradiated but unlike the others he didn't become a monster. In fact he became positively brilliant!
Emil, now Abomination stormed into Vista Verde on a mad rampage. He didn't care who got in the way he was fixed on having his fight with the Hulk. Calling him out, was he afraid to fight him? Probably, or at least obviously as he hadn't turned up yet. Bruce seeing the commotion on the news had no choice, surely him and the entity known as the Hulk could strike an accord? Work together for what was best? With no other option he returned to a Vista Verde in flames.
That's when Hulk took over. The fight itself caused untold destruction as the two goliaths clashed, while Abomination appeared stronger his strength was a fixed state unlike the Hulks... there was also something different about the Hulk that appeared now compared to those that had appeared before. He was still enraged and unpredictable but there was something different in his eyes...
Ever since then, the Hulk and Bruce have had an even more difficult relationship as while before the Hulk was a mindless beast even now Bruce has to admit that he's something more... what doesn't make it easy is that while both of them still avoid as many people as possible Lex Luthor has a new band of goons, the Justice League. A group of heroes working for him and as much as Hulk is hunted by Lex Luthor he has no doubt that the Justice League are equally on his tail, which is even more unwanted attention especially when he just wants left alone, so he can maybe do some good for this world.
That's all he ever wanted, he never asked for any of this.
Supporting Cast:
Allies:
Rick Jones: Rick was a good friend before the accident, and even owes Bruce his life. He's been a constant source of support to both Bruce and the Hulk. Wanting to help them find their place in the world.
Betty Ross: Love of Bruce Banners life. He hasn't seen her since the accident...
Known entities:
Captain America: Captain America is what Bruce was trying to replocate. It just... went wrong.
Superman: Who doesn't know Superman? Bruce has thought about going to him on occasion. Though has avoided it, he isn't quite sure how the super hero would react.
Reed Richards: He followed Reeds work closely through the year, and they had the occasional correspondence. He wouldn't quite consider him a friend, but if he needed help Bruce would ask him. He'd also respond to a call for help from him.
Tony Stark: There's a bit of contempt for Stark. Also a child prodigy but born with a silver spoon in his mouth, got everything he ever wanted and more.
Enemies
Gen.T.E.Ross: Father of Betty, military General who has worked closely with LexCorp in trying to bring the Hulk down.
Lex Luthor: Lex seems to view Hulk as his property, either that or really liked the labs at Vista Verde...
Abomination: While Abomination has been apprehended - for now, he's still a serious fault and his existence is his fault.
Samual Sterns: Bruce knows that Sterns betrayed him. Though he isn't quite sure how deep this wound goes, or what the reprecussions of their previous encounters could lead too...
How (if at all) does the New Frontier version of your character differ from the original?:
I love the Hulk, and Bruce. I love their dynamic and relationship, I don't want to change that. At most I'll be displaying a more comicy/cartoony approach to Hulk and Bruces relationships than the one shown in the MCU.
