It depends on the strength and the frequency of the exposure. If you were, say, in Hiroshima when the bomb hit and managed to survive the blast, it may have taken a few minutes. You would have literally melted. However, that's a lot of fucking radiation and I don't think you wanna mess with that. But if you get like 12 x-rays every day for the rest of your life, it could take years.

Second try. Again, this is still work in progress.

Name: John Wadlock

Alias: Wall (a.k.a. The Living Wall)

Age: 32

Gender: Male

Personality: Calm and calculating, but always ready punch someone in the face if necessary. John's martial art studies have taught him to always be on a defensive state of mind when in a dangerous situation, but sometimes his human nature takes over him and makes him act violently.

Powers:

• Can increase his size (regular height: 7'2''/known limit: 14'4'')


• Super Strength (which increases with his size)


• Skin hard like concrete

Equipment: Nothing so far.

Other: John is a master of several grappling-style martial arts. (Judo, Aikido, Submission Wrestling, Sume Wrestling, etc.)

Appearance:

Old costume and regular size

New costume and known maximum size

History:

John never knew why he was different from the rest, but neither did he care. He quickly learned to dissimulate his strenght and to keep his size stable. His first sensei helped him with this, taught him how to control his impulses, how to keep calm and under control. His coach taught him about thinking ahead of his enemy, but to also be ready to improvise.

It's rumored that the day he decided to clean up his city, both the corrupt police chief and the mob boss had heart attacks, or in some stories choked while eating at some expensive restaurant. Nevertheless, that's the past. He served his city well enough, now he has decided to leave and try to help on a larger scale (get a new costume, make this whole hero thing official). He has decided to join the Guild.

Personally could use some more tweaking, but it looks good so far.

I'm still working on his backstory which explains the change of costume (street-level vigilante to part-of-a-group hero) and his origin (can't decide on how he got his powers). Anything specific you think I should change?

So I was thinking..

Those energy blaster things I put on Fallout's armor? I thought that instead of having Fallout fire energy blasts through them, that his radiation could power some lasers instead. It'd make a bit more sense than radiation blasts powered by Super Science.
