@XxLyraxXThat framewerk is practically identical to Eiswolf. That's hilarious.

Also 'Cute and Cheerful' was my gimmick :c

Hmm, a flirt, huh? Usually male pilots have that quality, so it's definitely interesting to see. Very in-depth personality and back story, good work.

The Framewerk is a good example of a jack-of-all-trades; while not as capable exclusively sniping or melee as specialized mechs like Eiswolf or Atty, she can decently do both, granted she gets the opportunity to land enough shots for her spear to charge up in power. The weapon will count as both a Kinetic and Energy weapon type.

The suit reminds me of Pacific Rim, and I approve. The sheet is accepted, you can post it to the character tab. I recommend you read pages 7 and 8 of IC while waiting to post.

Get strapped to your seatbelts, cause we're going in hard!

Mist's effective radius is in squares completely inside the circle; less than 50% overlapped squares don't count. Circle's radius is medium range for weapon ranges. Framewerks can both move two squares in both axis and attack in the same post, with diagonal movement limited to one square while attacking. Framewerks can fully dash 4 squares without attacking, and diagonally can move two without attacking. The exceptions are both Yeager when using boosters and Jetto Chosa in jet form; both can add three squares to their axis movement and two squares for diagonal movement. Always specify where your Framewerk ended up at the end of your post. For example, Logic Gate moved to E3 (haha).

And a warning; if you fuck up too much, there is a real chance you may die. Unlike the training battle, this is a real war, and the gloves are off.

Now that I think about it, this kind of makes me think of Fire Emblem...

Also, the PDF is totally playing X-COM. They even got the right aliens for it.

EDIT: If I understand, Medium range is 3 Vertical or Horizontal squares or one diagonal square + one vertical/horizontal square? Then what is Long Range?

@Ariamis a few quick things.
1) you didn't tag me either of the last to mass tags, it's OK because I check back so often, but just making sure you don't forget about little ol me.
2) are you left handed by chance?
3) yes, please confirm firing ranges.
4) I don't suppose I could have a preemptive charge on my wave surger, considering we were waiting for an attack? I suspect the answer is no, but I thought I might ask.

@AtomicNut
It prevents comms between the colonies and NOAH, but not within the same area.
The jetpack gives two additional squares of axis movement or one additional square of diagonal movement, but can only be used for a dash.

@Ammokkx
Long range is 7 squares axis or 5 squares diagonal.

@Jasonhero
Doomslayer is real, and he's still out there kicking ass.

@Mr Rage
1) Sorry, I was sure I got everyone tagged. I'll add you from now on.
2) Yes, did you guess it from the crap art?
3) What Ammokkx assumed of medium range is correct. To be more specific, the number of squares in the range also accounts for the square where the weapon is firing from.
4) You didn't mention charging the Wave Surger in your post. However, since you were preparing for an attack it would make sense for him to start charging the moment he saw the fleet, so I can give you one turn of charge already done.

@Ariamis According to what you said, and assuming cruxi play by the same rules as we do (move two and still attack), this is the effective range for the two enemy snipers in Troas.

I... I think that there might be a slight unbalance in range here.

EDIT: Joppa isn't much better.

So, to make sure, the comm blocking means I can still communicate with my squad, and respond to the order I was given?

@Gate Keeper
Magus landed in the landing zone, and then moved to flank Mist at E-3 before it was shot. And no, the pilot didn't die.

@Ammokkx
They first took the shot and then moved to those positions.
Edit: Oh, you mean to say it's unfair?

@Jasonhero
The squad can communicate among themselves, but the HQ channel got jammed before you could respond to it.

@Ariamis Even if we keep that in mind, it then becomes

for Troas. Made this one in advance, don't know Joppa but you just subtract a few spaces. Anyway.

If we then consider tentacles are melee and standard units are equipped with one medium range weapon each, the only safe spot for this turn is B1. Goddamn we are screwed.

And I thought you guys wanted a clusterfuck?
Don't forget each of you can move and attack. If you target the correct enemies you can leave yourself in a good spot without getting overwhelmed.

Edit: But if enough people agree it's too unfair I can nerf some stuff as well. Just want to give you guys a challenge.

@Ariamis Oh no, I'm happy with a clusterfuck. But I just think the snipers' range is a little wonky. They've got pretty much 75% of the map covered at all times. And I'm aware of a spot I can move Serah in that's relatively safe, don't worry.
