Listen though. Mell isn't one to give in so easily.
She will continuously wear the pants to class. If asked to change.. she will put the skirt on over her pants, not taking off her pants. If this doesn't work she will go to the principle and appeal, saying she will wear the male uniform instead of the female.. and even hiring a lawyer if thats the case and saying that its sexist to require women to wear skirts. (I can go into great detail about this, because of my pre-law sister XD) IF that doesn't work she will mutilate her skirts until they are skorts.. and as a last resort she would use violence.
just saying. Mell will do everything in her power to NOT have to wear the skirts, as she finds them degrading and the pockets aren't nearly deep enough.
Though if she MUST wear her skirt and cant modify it.. she will do whatever she can to cause as much trouble for the teacher as possible all while putting on an innocent face.
also, i can see her being really bad about the uniform in the first place considering she is all anti-authority. Legit can see her not wearing all of it, or modifying it however she feels like. XD (she was taught from a young age not to take shit from anyone, and I assure you, she's met scarier people than her homeroom teacher. ALL OF HER FATHER's PARTNERS FOR ONE)
