Dynamics: Basically your character's relationship with other characters.
Olivia is a woman in her early twenties that is of medium height and weight (Five-six feet tall, and one-hundred-and-thirty pounds, respectively). Her body is well toned due to exercise and whatnot. Olivia's ways of keeping fit aren't exactly "ladylike," she omits yoga for running, sports, practicing Muay Thai, and lifting weights. These hobbies have allowed Olivia to develop a muscular, which accents her curvature. She certainly has curves on her. Her thighs are quite thick and strong from all the running, so are her calfs. Which leads to people making jokes about how she can crush a water melon in between them (Which she refuses to confirm or deny). Legs are also slightly longer than usual. Her behind, naturally, is somewhat big - she's no slouch in the chest area eiher. Her stomach region has a faint trace of abs. Arms are also toned. Though, she doesn't exactly have the bulging muscles you'd expect from a female body builder, her build is somewhat like a less buff MMA fighter.
Olivia, in terms of ethnicity is mixed between Asian, Caucasian, and South American. Her mother was Japanese and Brazilian, and her father is French. Her skin color appears to be fully Caucasian, while she looks South American in the face (Her eyes are slanted like Asians). It's quite hard to tell unless you know where to look. Olivia's hair is a short, dark-brown color. She keeps her hair cut short, and spiky. Worn very loose, it flaps wildly in the wind. Olivia's face is heart-shaped, with her face getting thinner leading up to her square chin. Her eyes are a brown color, slanted, and almond shaped. Her nose is medium-sized, and upturned, nostrils not being particularly large. Seems oddly large in contrast to her thin lips, and somewhat small mouth. Finally, her ears are medium sized, and diamond shaped. Olivia's outfit changes from day to day, but Olivia is never seen without her scarf. A green scarf with thin red stripes that she keeps wrapped around her neck.
Skills/Talents:
Much like her friends, Olivia is a very adventurous human being who dedicated herself to being outgoing. Most importantly, she's taken up several sports to keep herself in space. Freerunning being one of them - assisted by her power, she can preform moves unheard of... an overprotective father had her take up a Martial art being Muay Thai. She's been doing it for almost a decade, and is pretty talented at Muay Thai. Better watch those kicks. Olivia was also a girl that loves speed. She made her parents buy her a fancy motorcycle, and she's taken up training for her. Putting that training to good use, Olivia also knows how to do some tricks, along with taking corners fast.
Brief Bio:
Olivia was born in Verthaven, California, to her father, a rather high ranking Agent of NEST, who was so busy that they wouldn't see him for months as he was transferred throughout the United States to combat Metahuman threats. However, what came with his rank was a hefty paycheck that allowed Olivia, her mother, and her three younger brothers (all triplets) to live in relative comfort in Verthaven. Olivia, right off the bat, was a wild girl who had a lot of energy in here. She had a love for speed and adventure that drove her to explore the world as she tried to find herself. Which was a problem as she grew older. She was less concerned with school, and more about where she was going to go next. She had a bit too much energy. Her father (when he was around) choose to get Olivia invested in martial arts at a young age in order to invest herself in self defense. As the world is a very dangerous place, and he wanted her to be able to defend herself, and let loose some of that spare energy. Which worked in cooling the girl down.
Up until her Metahuman ability developed when she was fifteen. She didn't even notice she was a Metahuman. She seemed to just spawn storms where ever she went. She didn't realize why, up until she got into a fight with a girl and the storm got intense. Pelting the area with heavy hail rocks. After she realized what happened, she concentrated, and dispelled the storm. Finally realizing that she was the walking storm. A test ran by NEST confirmed this, and her father was disgruntled - he didn't want his daughter (who was already troublesome enough) to get involved in the world of Metahumans. With one phone call, he arranged for Olivia to get sent to one of the Academies - Academy 218 in Alaska. Olivia didn't want to go there... but she had to. When Olivia first arrived, she greeted two girls on the way there - Jessica Rosefey and Diana Lucker - and befriended them. Even though both friends stood on different ends of the spectrum in terms of morality and personality, she managed to bring the two together and form a trio that tackled the everyday life of Academy 218.
Eventually adding Diana's younger sister, Wendy Lucker, to the mix, and they eventually formed a school team once Olivia met a boy named Justin Trevino - a boy who could shoot beams of solid energy. The two met after an arena match went wrong and Olivia injured Justin. Out of regret for her actions, she was forced by the school to him in the hospital. The two didn't get along at first, but they connected on their common grounds, and eventually became friends. A part of their life that she couldn't remove. The two eventually confessed their feelings for each other, and became boyfriend and girlfriend.
Months passed, and Olivia felt incredibly great about going to Academy 218. With her friends, she felt invincible. Of course, that had to come to an end. A supervillain called Amethyst, and her group named The Beasts of Burden attacked Academy 218 with an unknown goal. Before NEST arrived, Amethyst had killed several students. Olivia and Amethyst got into a battle outside the academy, and it was getting pretty intense until Amethyst got the upper hand on her. Intending on killing her, Justin saved her... unfortunately, giving his own life in the process. Olivia, at this point, was being carted off and was too exhausted to stay unconscious. A few hours later, and she awoke on a hospital bed, while her father and friends told her everything that happened. Olivia was overcome with rage, and wanted revenge. However, her father took her out of the Academy, and wanted to place under NEST watch in Verthaven just in case Amethyst tried again.
This filled Olivia with so much anger that she almost went insane with rage. She wanted nothing more than revenge against Amethyst for the death of her friend. The rest of her friends kept in touch with her. However, Olivia caught wind that Amethyst was in New Rivere City. Not wasting a second, Olivia decided to pursue the villain to bring her to justice for the death of her boyfriend.
... And she'd soon learn that she bit off more than she could chew.
Power Information
Power Class:
Elemental
Power: Weather Manipulation.
Olivia truly is the storm. Where ever she walks, a thunder will follow. Olivia has the power to sense, create, shape and manipulate weather. This ability is very versatile, and the elemental nature of this ability gives her a limited manipulation of weather related elements. This ability splits down in two different paths; the summoning of individual weather affects, and creating storms. In regards to the first path, she can control and summon rain, wind, hail, lightning, snow, fog, and a subconscious control over temperatures, in a localized area. This might be a bit more like a control over an element. For example, Olivia can create a heavy rain storm, create a powerful blast of wind, drop the area temperature and produce snow, summon bolts of lightning, throw up a blanket of fog, and so on. Olivia also has a minor elemental control over water/ice (It has to be rain/snow), wind, and water vapors like fog. She'll also eventually gain the ability to channel electricity through her hands. They are no where near as strong as a dedicated elemental type, however. It's a very rudimentary form of control that mostly allows her to move it, she can't move a massive amount of it. This ability has a wide variety of offensive and defensive techniques, of course. Even a mobility increase, as Olivia is capable of using air currents to fly - or fling herself using strong winds. The other half of her ability is the production of storms. Olivia has the ability to blanket a wide area in a mighty, raging storm. This differs from her individual control, as it blankets a wider area in a dangerous rain, wind, thunder, or snow storm. This ability can be truly devastating on a group of enemies, and can cause much destruction. A very powerful feat - but it requires a lot more effort, and also requires that she remains stationary in one place. She can also manipulate existing storms (Intensify them, or disperse them).
Limits:
Olivia's abilities aren't as monstrously strong as they appeared. Her powers (even the storms) don't go up to the scale of cities. Her individual control over the weather elements has a rather short range compared to the ability to produce larger storms. Olivia can only summon a weather affect fifteen feet of herself. Her elemental control also doesn't have the same finesse as those who specialize in an elemental, and they can effortlessly overpower her control. As for her creation of storms, there's also a certain set of weaknesses for that ability. While she can cause a large amount of destruction in an area, Olivia is the center of that storm, and it follows her. If she leaves the area and heads to another, the storm will fade away in that section, and has to start up again in another. So, say if Olivia caused a massive rainstorm to take out a horde of mooks, and she is forced to retreat, that storm will disappear, and another will start in her new location. Which means she's not good at giving chase, or could be chased off herself.
The ability also works better if she's standing still. Also, she doesn't exactly have control over the storms she creates - once she gets one going, it's fair game. Creating storms is also very exhausting, after crafting any kind of storm, she'll need lots of time to recover. In addition, she'll have a hard time fighting, and creating storms, since generating a storm is a very taxing process that requires her full attention. Now, I feel like I should cover calling down bolts of lightning because of how devastating they can be. First, Olivia can't just randomly summon a bolt of lightning on the fly. She'll need to stop, focus, and will the bolt of lightning to the target. And it's a very inaccurate process, so there's a chance she'll miss. Missing can be much worse when you consider the short range of her ability to summon weather effects. Finally, Olivia's effectiveness is dependent on whether or not she's indoors. She can't summon most of her weather effects while indoors for obvious reasons, Olivia can only control fog, wind, and control water. Though, she can affect the building with weather effects from the outside. However, she needs to be outdoors (or at least have the sky above her) to create a deadly storm.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
First and foremost, Olivia has zero resistance to any weather affects she creates. Which means she can electrocute herself, freeze, or hinder her own vision in a storm. Same goes for other people, and property. Everything is collateral damage, and she's not the kind of person who'd enjoy destroying things. I should probably come up with more weaknesses, but #yolo.
Relationships
Family:
Cornelius Verde - Father (Kinetic Energy Absorption, Blasts, & Infusion) Brook Verde - Mother Jameson Verde - Younger Brother Troy Verde - Younger Brother Dillon Verde - Younger Brother
Dynamics:
Jessica Rosefey | Good | Best Friend | "It's like staring into a mirror somethings. The two of us are just so similar that's the reason why we hit it off when we first met. I'm astonished at her strength... Which is why I'm sorry that I have to leave her behind." |
Diana Lucker | Good | Friend | "My other best friend. She sure as hell loves to drink and smoke all the time. Man, every time I turn around, she got her hands on some whiskey. Though, I'm not complaining. She's a good drinking buddy." |
Wendy Lucker | Good | Friend | "Don't know her as much as Diana, she's too busy with her books, but when we do talk, she's great. We don't have a lot in common, but she's really smart, she helped me come up with stuff for my power." |
Short and firey. That's what people get the impression of the second they see her. Right off the bat, a lot of people can tell that she isn't a ball of sunshine, and kittens. Rarely does she ever remove that scowl from her face, and just looks like she's ready to fucking explode. Diana's build is thin, and boyish. She's almost comically short (At 5'1 ft), and weighs a just right amount for her bmi. She has a solid square shaped body with a solid build, to be precise. One thing that she has going for her is her chest area. Diana has a C-cup bra size, and given how comically small she is, she looks much bustier. It's offset by a flat behind that nobody's anaconda wants! People like to say that she has a "boy ass" just to taunt her (Don't, unless you want to get punched in the nose). Her limbs are very short and slim, but they're somewhat muscular because of all the work Diana does. She's the kind of woman who works out whenever she can. Her hands and are small (And scarred!). The woman has faint abs she's been working on.
There aren't really any scars or marks on them because of her power. Diana's facial features are very European, being a mixed bag of European countries - French, Swedish, and Canadian. Speaking of her facial features, she has diamond shaped facial features, with a small, round head. Most notably, Diana has very small and poky lips, that have some thickness to them. They don't have makeup on them, so they're a very dull pink color. She doesn't exactly have a strong jawline, but her cheeks and chin aren't pronounced enough to stand out, and simply blend in with her jaw. Diana has a pronounced droopy nose that looks disproportionate to her lips. It's medium sized, and has a pretty thick nose bridge, one that has nostrils that aren't too small, or too large. Her ears are small, round, and slightly pointed at the top. With a light splatter of freckles on her face, and upper body, to top things off. Finally, Diana's other most prominent feature is her hair. Her hair color is very bright, that Swedish Blonde color. It's straight, very clean, and styled as a spiky pixie cut with the sides of her head being combed.
Contrary to her appearance and attitude, Diana has a strange schoolgirl style. She's almost always seen wearing a skirt of some kind, with a modest top (A sweater, a button up, etc). However, she loves to wear tall leather boots (Or combat or steel-toed boots). Diana doesn't exactly wear jewelry over than some rings.
Skills/Talents:
I should note that her true talent is the automotive field. Diana is a very talented driver. If you're robbing a bank, she'd be a great get away driver. She also knows a bit about the layout of cars... enough to know what to do to steal some cars. Diana's an avid car jacker, give her a few minutes and she'll be inside someone's car, and already speeding off with it. Diana also has a limited knowledge of automotive repair. That isn't to say that she isn't good at other crimes. Diana is a pretty good pickpocket, and is very sneaky beaky. The kind of gal that's real light on her feet. She could get behind you and scored a hit before you even noticed she was there! Fighting was something that always came naturally to Diana. When she rolled with a gang, they taught her how to fight. No official MA, but her friends taught her some tricks from various fighting styles. She is quite formidable in a fight. Though, fighting dirty is more of her thing. It's nothing that she would admit, but Diana is a ballet dancer, and a beautiful one. She still takes the time to practice the techniques that she learned years ago. She's still a great dancer. This is barely a skill, but Diana knows a little bit about the crime world. It stops at illegal racing, but she knows a bit.
Brief Backstory:
Diana Lucker was born in Stadium City to Ewan and Lucy Lucker right in the midst of NEST's grand offensive against the Tyrants. She was a happy child... until her mother was caught in the crossfire between NEST and Tyrants and blown in half by a Tyrant. This utterly devastated the family, to the point where her father couldn't take care of her, and sent her to Verthaven to live with his parents. Diana didn't know how to feel about this, she felt abandoned. Her grandparents were too old to give a shit, and Diana felt like was living on her own. However, she met another girl like her, Maxine Carter, who recently lost her own father. The two girls bonded, and found much in common with each other. Becoming the best friends... then they started getting into all sorts of trouble. Both of them got involved with gangs, gambling, and doing everything girls their ages shouldn't. Often getting sent home by the VPD, and chided.
This routine continued until her powers manifested. Elemental control over paper... one of the lamest powers out there. Maxine got the far cooler control over fire and it's byproducts. Before the duo could cause more trouble, Diana was sent back home to her family in Stadium City. Getting separated from Maxine was bad enough - but her fuckin' father went off and married some Asian broad while she was gone! Un-fucking-belieable! Even had a kid... Wendy Lucker. Despite Diana's cold reception, the two girls warmed up to each other, and got really close. However, Diana decided to get back involved in the same old, without her best friend Maxine, and started trouble fast as possible. Getting involved in Metahuman gangs around Stadium City. Naturally getting in trouble with NEST. While spending some time with her little sister. It turns out that Wendy had the same power as her! How sweet was that? Things went to shit for Diana once she tried getting initiated with the Tyrants, and it got raided by NEST. Diana almost got away, but she was no match for NEST's crackshot Sonya Mayfield. A taser dart hit her right in the ass, and she fell forward.
NEST was damn near ready to send her to prison, before Sonya Mayfield suggested that she gets into the Academy program to straighten up. Diana didn't want to go to any circle-jerky school, but her father agreed to it because Diana needed to get away from bad influences. She was sent to Academy 218, much to her complaints. Well, at least Wendy was going... When she first got to the Academy, she immediately made a few friends. Mostly out of the bad seeds in the Academy. Two people that had a big impact on her life was Jessica Rosefey, and Olivia Verde. At first, she hated Jessica, but with the help of Olivia, she managed to include the girl in on her group. Diana's educational side was pretty shitty. Because she didn't put too much effort into "learning," finding it superfluous because she was going to leave fast as possible. Which meant her grades and academic life suffered. Though, her social life was great. Finding plenty of people to talk to, and mostly getting in contact with the kids that smuggled drugs and alcohol into the school. Olivia also got her on her gay team.
Things took a turn for the worst once a group of supervillains attacked the Academy, going on a rampage (The Beasts of Burden). Wendy and Diana had no choice but to fight for their lives, fighting off some of those thugs to the best of their ability. They managed to force them retreat... but Olivia was all on her own, fighting the ringleader. By the time the group got there, Olivia was barely conscious, while her boyfriend was dead. Jessica and Diana fought off Amethyst while Wendy carted off Olivia. She did something weird, then escaped. Everyone was gathered in Olivia's hospital room a few hours later, and it was decided that Olivia would head back home. While Diana and Wendy got a pardon for their crimes, since they stayed in the Academy for a few years and were finally allowed to go home.
The two returned to Stadium City - but quickly heard from Jess that Olivia was heading towards New Rivere to go get revenge against the Beasts of Burden. The two quickly had a conversation about the matter, and decided that they were going to head there in Jess' RV to stop Olivia from getting herself killed. Disguising it as a road trip with friends.
Power Information
Power Class:
Elemental
Power:Elemental-Type: Mode Paper Paper-Manipulation.
Also known as Papyrokinesis, Diana has an elemental ability relating to paper, card, and cardboard. She can telekinetically control paper on a large scale - capable of controlling several tons worth of paper at a time - and shape them without bending or tearing it. Creating complicated structures is simple for Diana, since her ability naturally gives her a high degree of control over her paper. This is assisted by paper's flexibility. She can create a building out of paper if she's given enough time. While this may sound lame, but Paper is a pretty good weapon against unarmored targets. She can form it into sharp blades that'll give a sucka a nasty papercut, or pack it together to create a dense, high impact, blunt weapon. On the other end, it works very well defensively. If she has enough paper, she can create a shield that'll stop a projectile (Possibly a bullet if she has enough time). Outside of fights, she can create clothes, forge documents, repair damaged paper, and more. This ability goes in tandem with her ability to turn into (or make herself weightless like) paper. Wendy showed her that she can fly by creating a giant paper construct, or riding it like carpet. Just pray you don't fight her in a office supply store.
Paper-Mimicry.
Diana has the ability to turn into paper. Whether it's a storm of individual (Or one whole piece) paper pages, or into cardboard. This ability, amazingly enough, extends to the clothes she's wearing, and the objects she's holding. So no, she won't be naked when she reforms, boys. The main usage is probably turning into individual pieces of paper, so I'll go into that one the most. Diana can individually control each piece of paper, and naturally, this gives her a form of flight, or teleportation if I'd go far enough to call it that. She can turn into a cloud of paper, move, then reform. This gives her a heightened dodging ability, and basically makes her immune to physical attacks. Turning into dense cardboard and throwing a punch can make someone feel like they were bitchslapped by a Bible. Diana can also partially turn into paper or cardboard. Some of her paper powers extends to her true form. Diana can become weightless, and flow like a fluttering piece of paper. She can possibly fly by riding wind currents (albeit, very erratically), or by the aforementioned means. This ability to adopt the weight of paper extends to her clothes, and the objects she's holding (REQUIRED SECONDARY POWERS).
Paper-Absorption & Storage.
As a combination of both aforementioned ability, Diana can store paper inside of herself. It's simple, she turns into paper and places the foreign paper inside of herself. Ready to be used at a later date. When she wants to use it, all she has to do is pull the paper out of her body. To an outsider, it'll appear almost like she created the paper out of thin air. She can use it like shooting a blade of paper out of her hand. Diana also has a regenerative ability. It's pretty simple, if she has an injury, all she has to do is turn it into paper, and absorb some paper to fill the wound. This can extend as far as fixing a broken hand, or even regenerating a limb. It won't work on a bruise, but it's handy for cuts.
Ink-Manipulation & Generation.
As a side ability, Diana as a minor Melanokinetic ability. She can't, say, throw gigantic globs of ink at people, but she can manipulate the ink on paper into whatever she pleases. She can pull the ink off the pages, and throw it around at people, but like I said before, she can't do anything more than that. Pulling ink off the pages is only useful if she wants to put it on something else. She also has the ability to produce ink from her fingertips, which she can manipulate in any way she chooses.
Limits:
Each of Diana's individual abilities have their own limits. For paper manipulation, she has the usual range limit of around thirty-feet, and the max weight limit of two tons of paper. Diana cannot remain in paper form for too long - the maximum limit is inhibited by how long she can hold her breath. If she runs out of breath, she has to turn back into human form, or, you know. So, she can only remain as a storm of paper for only so long. Though, if she's partially transformed, holding her breath isn't an issue (at the expense of strength). Even if she's one solid piece of paper, she's still limited. She can only scatter herself around twelve feet. Diana can't use paper manipulation while turned into paper - she'll only be able to control her own paper. Also, absorbing paper into herself weighs her down, thus, preventing her from going weightless unless she expels it. It'll also come with the feeling of being weighed down. Diana's regeneration won't really work if she's wet, or too bloody. So, if she's gushing blood, she's going to have a problem. Diana's ink manipulation basically has a tactile range. She can only control ink that's within two feet of herself - and in that case, she's better off just touching it. She can produce two quarts of Ink at most.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
Diana's power makes her a bit more... flammable. Even in human form, she'll burn away like paper if she's exposed to flame. Which could spread, and she'll have no choice but to drop that part of her body unless she wants to burn up. Fortunately, water doesn't do anything to her human form, so she can take a swim. However, if she's soaken wet, then she can't turn into paper. Just to cover all grounds here, if she's soaken wet while paper, then she'll immediately be forced back together and become human. It's some sort of subconscious thing that'll keep her alive. Now, I have to go over the weaknesses of paper. They should be obvious, Diana cannot control paper that is soaken wet, or burned. So fire/water benders are her bane. She can work with torn paper, of course. Gusts of wind can also be a pain in the ass. It'll send the paper she's controlling flying, and make her lose control of it. This can also be a problem if she's a storm of paper. It'll send her veering off course. This means outdoor areas aren't her favorite place.
Wendy Lucker | Good | Sister | "Lucky Wendy's a good girl. She just needs to get the hell out of that eccentric-ass shell of hers and smell the fresh air. Those books can't take the place of humans - speaking of which, isn't it fitting that she got the ability to control paper from me?" |
Jessica Rosefey | Good | Friend | "She's a good person. A little childish, a little thick, but she really grew on me. Maybe we're great friends after all. Most of all, she might be the only person who can talk Olivia out of this stupid plan." |
Olivia Verde | Good | Friend | "We partied a lot. Gave her plenty of weed and drinks.... I feel really shitty because I couldn't help her. Which is what I'm going to do now. Stop her from getting herself killed." |
Other
Diana's a bit of a handful in terms of personality. She thinks like a criminal, and certainly acts like one if given the opportunity. Other times, she's cool and aloof, at times callous. It's rare to see her shout or raise her voice. However, if you set her off, then you're in for a world of hurt - which is easier than one might think. Despite the exterior, she can be quite pleasant, even playful. She legitimately cares about her younger sister.
Diana has done it all. Smoke, drink, do drugs, and more. Only thing that stuck with her was smoking. Whenever she gets some time to herself, she'll be seen with a cigarette in between her lips.
Diana is a gambler at heart. She won't hesitate to make bets, and always carries around dice in her pockets.
Basic Information
Name:
Wendy Emily Lucker
Age:
15
Gender:
Female
Appearance & Attire:
Wendy is a rather unremarkable teenage girl. Much to her chagrin, Wendy hasn't exactly been blessed with the feminine charms that'd hook boys to her. She's very lacking in the boobage and butt area, her body just lacks curves. Her chest is flat, to the point where she contemplates whether or not she even needs a bra. What doesn't help either is her height. She stands at the male average, and very little boys are interested in a girl that's as tall as them. People get the impression that her mother just had to be an Amazon. She has a square build with little hips, she's very skinny and lithe. Mixed with her height, one could mistake her for a swimmer. Just in an attempt to make herself more striking, Wendy wears her hair quite long. Her flowing mane of black hair is at least waist length, and rather unkempt. Many people have commented on her bad grooming skills. However, she has some bangs over her forehead. Now, Wendy is a girl that is somewhat distinct for her ethnicity. She is mixed, she's part French, and part Japanese. However, Wendy appears 100% Caucasian. Her skin is a modest beige color, that isn't pale nor tan. Her square facial features are more consistent with French people. What betrays this is her obviously slanted eyes, that only very observant people would be able to tell. Now, Lucy has a rectangle-shaped face. Her nose is medium sized, has a droopy shape, but is otherwise has well proportioned nostrils, nose-bridge, etc. It matches her thin lips that haven't been touched by lipstick once. Wendy's ears are crescent shaped, and medium-sized. Eyes are a unremarkable brown color, and are roundish-almond shaped.
Wendy isn't particularly stylish, she's very modest, or schoolgirl like. However, she dresses like a detective. She's never seen without a trench coat of some sort that has tons of pockets. Underneath this, she wears a button up or any manner of shirt. Usually, her shirts are white, and her trenchcoats are tan. Wendy isn't picky about her legwear, and they can range from skirts, to cargo pants, to jeans. Though, skirts are her main thing. Her eyes are hidden behind a pair of circular, thin-framed, glasses.
Skills/Talents:
Skills? Well, Wendy don't have too many skills because she heavily invested herself in reading. Her primary skill is the result of a very creative and imaginative mind - drawing. Wendy has dedicated herself to art. Other than that, her love of reading has really made her quite intelligent and perceptive (She reads all sorts of books). As for sports, Wendy is into Tennis.
Brief Backstory:
Wendy was born in Stadium City as the daughter of Ewan and Kumiko many years after his first wife was killed in a Metahuman attack. Wendy lived a rather sheltered life, since she was naturally adverse to social interaction. She'd rather read a book or two than have a conversation with someone. However, she wasn't Ewan's first child. Oh no, her sister was the troublesome Diana Lucker. After the death of his first wife, he sent Diana to Verthaven to live with her grandparents. Now Diana came back into her life, who became a miscreant, a thug, a punk - who hung out with all the wrong people, and gambled, while in Verthaven. A changed woman from the little girl that Ewan sent off. Despite their differences, the two sisters are quite close - even though one wants the other to change their ways. However, Diana manifested superpowers while in Verthaven due to the Black Fall Effect, the ability to control paper. She started getting involved with local Metahuman gangs, and committing crimes on a grander scale. Diana was picked up by NEST, and gotten in juvie several times. It wasn't long before Wendy manifested powers of her own - secretly - and touched Diana. Their nervous-systems lit up with the green Metahuman energy, before the flash of light disappeared and Wendy had the same power as Diana, with little clue that she had replicated it.
Her parents (and by that extent, NEST) assumed that she simply had the same exact power as her sister. Diana and Wendy got much closer, as the two trained to use their powers together. Finding out some creative ways to use it. However, Diana then took Wendy along to meet her friends, and when they shook hands, their hands started glowing with the Metahuman energy. That's when Wendy gained Pyromancery (Albeit a slight version), and it turned out that she was a Replicator. She talked about it with her parents, and they decided, for her sake, that they keep this a secret, and tell everyone that Paper Manipulation is her only power. However, Diana got in a load of trouble with NEST during a crime-spree (And she was shot in the ass by a sniper). NEST said that if Diana joins the Academy program (Going to Academy 218), and adjusts her attitude, then she won't go to jail. Wendy herself was sent to the camp after a disagreement over a late library book escalated into a fight (That ruined almost every book in that library), and she was arrested. So, she also joined Diana on her trip to the Academy.
While worried about just who would be going to the Academy, she adjusted her attitude once getting there. Finding it an incredible and new experience how to learn new things about her power. While Diana wasted time getting high, and drunk, Wendy worked with the teachers how to put that paper manipulation power to good use. Learning all new tricks. Wendy tested her training by participating in Arena fights within the academy, and joining their games. Wendy felt proud that she could do many feats with her power. She thought about learning another power, but didn't want to blow her cover within NEST.
Though, she never realized that she'd have to use that power in live action when a group of supervillains known as the Beasts of Burden attacked the Academy. People were quickly taken out of the fight, and it came up to Wendy and Diana to defend themselves. Wendy herself didn't fight badly for her first brawl. They managed to chase off the villains, but Olivia and her boyfriend were fighting off the big bad. They arrived a little too late... and Olivia was beaten to an inch of her life. While Diana and Jessica held off the leader, Wendy dragged the unconscious Olivia out of the battle. She didn't see what happened - but she knew that the villain retreated. Afterwards, all the girls involved left the Academy. Diana and Wendy managed to get their crimes erased by NEST, and went back to Stadium City.
While Wendy loved the Academy, she sure as hell didn't see it as safe. However, Diana told Wendy that Olivia went to New Rivere City to fight the bitch that killed her boyfriend. Diana and Jessica chose to go there to convince Olivia to go back home before she died. Wendy didn't want to get involved, but she knew enough about the two that she was more than convinced that they would die without her guidance. It was hard, but Wendy convinced her parents that they were going on a roadtrip for the summer.
Not possibly fighting the same supervillain that killed one of their friends.
Power Information
Power Class:
Power/Elemental
Power: Elemental Power-Replication.
Powers work very similarly to each other, in theory. She has the power to copy another Metahuman's power long as they have another Elemental-type ability. She'd be able to, for example, copy the power of a water bender, but not a regenerator. However, if the ability allows someone to alter their own body using their elements, then she is capable of more physical feats. It's very contact based - How long Wendy holds contact with a Metahuman dictates how much of the power she replicates. Brushing up against someone will give her an ability so weak that it's useless. While extended contact will grant her the full ability. Of course, there are a few differences between the owner's and her replicated ability as it will "mutate" as it goes from one person to another. Wendy can store powers she used before inside of herself (Up to three). She is limited to one power at a time, and in order for her to switch power, she would need to touch said element. Of course, if she finds a Metahuman that uses the same element as one of her copied powers - both powers will merge, and Wendy will get a boost.
Paper Manipulation & Mimicry/Ink Manipulation & Generation.
Wendy has her sister Diana's power copied (Read her sheet for details). This is Wendy's "main" power, and the one she's the most familiar with. So far, Wendy has exceeded her sister in usage of it. Like the rest of the abilities she copies it runs off "fuel", and she has to absorb paper to keep using it.
Fire Manipulation.
Wendy has a minor form of pryomancery which she accidentally gained during her miss adventures after shaking hands with it's owner. She can't produce a firestorm, but she can throw a fireball at someone the size of a baseball, and shoot streams of fire. She has to absorb fire to keep using it, and it comes with an immunity to heat.
Limits:
As it was mentioned above, Wendy can store up to three elemental abilities inside of herself. However, once she reaches that limit, she'll have to discard one ability for another. She doesn't have the level of skill to choose yet, so it'll be random. Wendy can only use one power at a time. In order to switch to a different power, she has to touch the element... Which can be hard depending on the enviroment. The biggest limit is that she has no clue how to use a power from the start. She has to figure out how to use it herself, or get taught how to use it. Again, she inherits the limits of the owner. Go see Diana's sheet for the limits. Though, I should note that she's only really skilled with Diana's power from years of using it. If she loses it, then she'll basically be using a weapon she doesn't know. Her Fire Manipulation is very weak, and she can only control a small amount of flame, and send it like fifteen feet of herself.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
Whenever Wendy copies an ability, she is "locked" into the power until she figures out how to use it. Even if she accidentally copies a power by brushing up against someone, she'll be locked. Which can be a problem if she's locked into a power that's useless (or has no clue how to use). Just to reiterate Diana's weaknesses, while using Paper Manipulation, Wendy will be extra flammable, and she can't use paper that's soaked/burned. Her pyromancery dehydrates her, and she's still weak against the byproducts of fire (I.E smoke and shit).

A very friendly individual, albeit a tad stressed. She is known to be a passionate, dedicated, and adventurous, youth that treats people well. Though, she be a bit overly judgement, and narrow-minded, at times. She seems to be more interested in pursuing her own hobbies than interacting with other people.
Wendy brought her some book collection with her to keep her occupied. If anyone touches it, then they will be castrated with a paper airplane.
Wendy is also an avid Photographer. She carries around her black Canon PowerShot SX410 IS 20-0 Megapixel Digital Camera. She'll be seen taking all sorts of pictures (Mostly of scenery, but of people, too). Touch that if you also wish to get castrated.
Jessica Sharon Rosefey Jr. (Jess, The Raging Bull, The Female Hercules)
Age:
21
Gender:
Female
Appearance & Attire:
The best word to use to describe Jessica's appearance would be eyecatching. She simply looks like an adventurer. It's in her eyes, her face, her attire, and the way she carries herself. She just looks like someone who's ready to jump up and start having some fun. She kinda has the look of a tomboy, but still has plenty of features that show her feminine side. She has short hair, muscles, and usually has a bruise or some dirt/grease on her face. All coming from her upbringing out in the mid-western parts of the US. Features on her such as scars and very bruised knuckles suggest that she gets into fights a lot. Jessica has a muscular and lean physique that comes from her powers. She does work out in attempts to get even stronger. That's not to say that she has massive bulging muscles. If she were to show some skin, people would get impressed with her build. She has six-pack abs, hardened through physical exercise. She has mighty long limbs, lengthy arms and legs. With large hands and feet. Other than her muscles, she has plenty to flaunt. Long legs with thick thighs and calves, impressively large c-cup breasts (Pushed up with her bra to look bigger), a well toned rump. She certainly looks feminine with these features. Her height isn't that much taller than other girls, she stands at the average female height.
Jessica is a redhead, and it's easily one of her most striking features. She has a face splattered with freckles, along with some on her upper body - and speaking of her skin, it's rough and calloused, giving people the impression that she is the type who's on the move constantly. It's a beige color, and splattered with some freckles, along with some scars. There's a scar on her cheek, right under her eyeball, that goes to the lower part of her jaw. It's red, fleshy, and ugly. More importantly, fresh - it's obviously a recently dealt wound. She also has several other scars on her body, but fortunately no where near her face.
She is quite obviously Caucasian. A little blend of Irish, Scottish, and Russian. Which gifted her with bright-orange hair, cut short, and very wavy and wild. It's styled like a cropped pixie-cut, with the sides of her head shaved. It's maintained to the best of her ability - which she has a bit of trouble doing herself. So she usually gets a friend to help her style it. Aside from her hair, Jessica has rugged facial features, and lean her on the tomboy side. She has a, thin, diamond shaped face, with sharp features. Most notable part of her face is that she has large rosey cheeks, that are covered in freckles. She has a very sharp jawline, with a round chin that blends very well with it. Jessica has big, round, eyes, with green irises. Her eyebrows are thick, and her eyelashes are quite thin. She has a large, upturned nose, that is fairly round, and has a very thick nose bridge, and two wide nostrils. Jessica's ears are somewhat large, aren't disproportionate to the rest of her face. They stick out somewhat. Lips are medium size, and far from pronounced. They have a healthy size and thickness. However, Jessica's appearance has a touch of the beast. A small touch. She has two, white, horns on her forehead that curve upwards. This has given her appearance a touch of the beast.
This is totally sterotypical, but Jessica has a cowgirl style. This is mostly because of the wide-brimmed cowboy hat that she's always seen wearing. Usually she would wear a matching T-shirt, polo-shirt, or button-up. The usual pattern is plaid and checkered shirts, along with jeans that are almost always blue. She usually gets the one that's a few sizes too large for her, because she finds that a bit more comfortable. She's almost never seen without a pair of boots - sometimes cowgirl boots. Jess is certainly a fan of vintage jackets, too. She dresses like a 80's highschool jock, stemming from a fascination with those old 80's highschool movies. She constantly wears a 80's Varsity Letterman Jacket, of various colors. She usually gets the one that's a few sizes too large for her. Her favorite jacket is a red and navy blue jacket.
Skills/Talents:
Jessica has a talent for all out brawls. She was taught by her father how to box, and how to fight dirty (Using plenty of illegal boxing moves such as elbows and headbutts). Skills that were honed in various street fights, to perfection. In combination with her strength, she's one kick ass fighter. She boasts she has an ability to knock someone out in one punch. Though, she doesn't know how to use her entire body. Instead just relying on the strength of her punches. Earlier in her life, Jessica is pretty good at Soccer. She's a big Soccer nut. This won't come into play, but Jessica knows horseback riding, and how to tend to farm animals. Finally, Jess worked for her father as a assistant car-mechanic for a few years. She won't be pulling any miracles, but she knows her way around a car. Jessica has always been one that's been fiddling with a guitar. She knows hows to play a bass guitar. Though, it's a even greater talent how she learned to stop breaking them.
Brief Backstory:
Before I start with Jessica's origins, I should begin with her father's, Hagan Rosefey. Back in his heyday, Hagan was the mafia legbreaker and body-guard known as the "Ox King". A man who claimed to be invincible, and immensely strong. With his strength, he defended the Crime Boss of the Noctis Family. Magic-themed Metahumans who owned a chunk of High-Roller Heights back in the day. He was their most feared employee, since there were few who could counter him. NEST didn't have the advanced technology and techniques that they did today. Being the best employee meant he was their most paid. He accumulated a wealth by saving it all up. However, the criminal life wasn't for him, he already got as much money as he needed. There was only a matter of time before he gets killed or arrested. One night, he just up and left. Leaving nothing in his apartment behind. He settled down far away from Highroller Heights and ended up in Houston, Texas, as an auto-mechanic. In the process, he met a woman in a bar named Jessica (Not this Jessica, her mother). Eventually, they married and had a kid, that kid turned out to be the Redhaired Headache, Jessica Sharon Rosefey (Jr)!
Jessica, right from the start, was a hard-headed little git with a knack for starting trouble. She pulled pranks on people, and got into fights... Which she lost because she couldn't pull hair like the other girls. The girl was a limitless pile of energy, and they got her invested in many activities. Mostly the little farm the Rosefeys had. She was an excellent farmhand, and loved animals. However, her father, realizing the danger of the world, decided to teach Jessica how to fight. He was an experienced boxer from his days as a legbreaker. Under his teachings, Jessica, too, became pretty good at boxing. Of course this meant that the git went out and started trouble even more. However, while she inherited his fighting skills, she also inherited superpowers from him. One day, horns grew from Jessica's forehead, and she started exerting a little more strength than a thirteen-year-old girl should. She was tested by NEST, and it was discovered that she's a Metahuman with strength and durability buffs. Her father decided to keep a tighter leash around her because, with her power and boxing skills, she could kill someone if she isn't careful. Jessica was trained by her father, and taught how to control her own strength, until it turned out that she could responsibly use it.
Shortly after she received a change. Her mother became pregnant with with twins, and nine months later, she gave birth to the children who will become Warren and Billy Rosefey. A happy child. Jessica accepted her brothers with open arms, and was excited to get to know her brothers. The next few years was going swimmingly. In high school, Jessica met a boy named Andreas on the Soccer Team, and they became the best of friends. They had similar interests in music, fashion, and sports. They got along fine, so Jessica thought about going steady with the boy. This was the best time of her life, the two of them were inseparable. Everyone supported the relationship, and months in, it seemed like they would be together forever. It seemed that way, especially on July 4th. Andreas took Jessica out to see the fireworks on the hill, and they were beautiful. The night was perfect, the mood was just right... It was sudden, but hormones and passion got the best of them. They choose then and there that they were going to take it to the next level. It was going great, but it quickly went oh so horribly wrong. Let's just say that Andreas didn't walk straight ever again.
This incident was proof that Jessica could use a little bit more training. Academy 218 contacted the Rosefeys, and offered Jess a spot among them. Jessica gladly took the spot - only because she wanted to go to Alaska! It wasn't half bad. It was pretty rad actually. She learned to control her strength through the instruction of the teachers, and incidents where she broke stuff. It also helped develop her personality a bit. She was around other people like her, and she made friends of her own out of the students. People like her. Such as Olivia Verde, and Diana and WEndy Lucker. She got into arena fights with helped with her reputation, and helped her develop her powers. Soon enough, she requested that she become a full student there, and the request was approved by her parents, and the school. She stayed there, making trips every now and then to come back for the holidays. She had plenty of fun with her younger brother, who was getting much, much, bigger. They had adorable moments together. Up until Jessica was sent back to school.
The good times ended once the Beasts of Burden arrived and fucked up the school. Jessica was fighting alongside the staff, and delivering some pretty devastating hits to her enemies. Once they were finished, she went to help Olivia - but she was too late. The girl was already beaten to an inch of her life. Jessica and Diana fought to fight the villainess off - but she disappeared in a flash of light. Which meant the nightmare was over. The group gathered in Olivia's hospital room where her big hoss dad flipped a table, and pulled her out of the Academy Program. Hearing about the incident himself, her dad choose to take her out - and she couldn't blame him. It was fun, but it came to an end.
Going home to Texas, Jess was awaiting a mundane Texas life - was. She heard that Olivia was heading out to kill the woman that attacked the school. Jessica didn't want to tangle with that bitch anymore, nor did she ever want Olivia to die. There was only one thing to do; stop her. Jessica went out and managed to convince her father to let her loan the RV and go stop her. She also got Diana and Wendy along on the mission.
They set out to New Rivere City.
Power Information
Power Class:
Super-System
Power: Enhanced Strength & Durability.
Jess here is the Female Hercules! In case you haven't gotten it from her history section, Jessica's power is that she has unrivaled (So far) strength. Because she has a higher muscle mass, her muscles are capable of easily exerting supernatural amounts of force, and are extremely durable. She has enough strength to throw cars with ease, send someone flying with a kick, and punch through concrete. Jessica can lift around five-thousand and two-hundred pounds at most. Which is enough to lift up two cars, and make sure that anyone who takes a direct blow from her isn't going to get up for awhile. Because of her strength, the muscles in her legs are also capable of carrying her further. She can run faster, and jump higher. Of course, Jessica needs a power to work in the background of this incredible strength. She is insanely tough to boot. Her skeleton has been reinforced in order to support the weight, her tendons and ligaments can't be torn easily, and her skin is rough, and hard to pierce. She's capable of easily shrugging off a weak ass baseball bat, basic blows, or a knife, like it's nothing. Though, bullets (Especially high caliber) would still pierce through her normally. To supplement these abilities even further, she also has a higher stamina.
Enhanced Smell.
Comparable to a dog, Jess' smell has been increased by at least a hundred times. She can smell in great detail, and easily track scents using her nose alone! That's pretty much it.
Limits:
Unless she throws something, Jessica will be restricted to close ranged combat. While she's strong, she's still limited by her stamina. Excessively lifting objects places a strain onto Jessica. Like average humans, her muscles will tire out after doing it a lot. It's rather for her to overexert herself, and feel burnt out. Fighting at full strength isn't exactly ideal. While Jessica is tough as nails, she still feels pain. A punch can't hurt her normally. Her durability mostly prevents physical attacks from hurting her, elemental (Specifically Energy) attacks are effective against her. Getting set on fire isn't pleasant (Her blood might boil!), electricity would knock her out, and etc. And, you know, she still needs air.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
The first trade off comes when you realize that she doesn't exactly know her own strength. While this might not be a huge problem in a fight, it certainly makes the mundane tasks harder to preform. She can easily break her items if she isn't careful, or accidentally hurt someone. This doesn't normally come into play since she has a grasp over her strength, but if angry or not paying attention, that's when she has the problems. The next weakness she has is that she's much, much, stronger than she is tough. If you realize what that means, then is very possible for her to break her hand with a full force punch, or break her joints by lifting up something that's too heavy. When Jess uses her strength, then she has the likelihood of tearing up her bodily tissues. Which would cause some problems. It would also cause plenty of joint pain, and impair her healing. Jess also doesn't have the best balance. Throwing a roundhouse kick is just as likely to knock herself over. Finally, muscle is pretty heavy, and it adds onto her weight. It makes her heavier than most people.

Cheerful, playful, and very laid back, is what she comes across to her peers. She's far from the super aggressive Amazon that most people assume her to be. She tries her best to be the big fun people that everyone should be around. The one that tries to keep herself and everyone around her chippy as possible. People get the feeling that she acts nice, dorky at times too. It's rare to see her get angry at all, she casually brushes off any asshole that approaches her, and very rarely takes them seriously. Though, if she does get angry, she's very hard to calm down. She's a terrifying berserker. It stems from her arrogance, that they are no problem, only background noise. Speaking of her arrogance also causes her to drastically underestimate her threats. Because of her strength, she feels that she can take everything out in one punch. If she does get into a fight, she tends to drag things out and show off her strength. Like it's a show. To Jessica, she sees things as a competition, or a game, and she views herself as the champion of them all. Which is why she's so willing to fight anybody - but mostly the strongest. Because, to her, she's the grand champion that can take anyone. In casual situations, this attitude isn't so pronounced, but people may be quick to note how she looks down on them, and speaks as if she's better than they are. She's quite optimistic, to the point of idealism. Which paves way to a bit of naivety. She doesn't think too hard about things, and takes things at face value. If someone knows enough about her, she can be pretty easy to manipulate.
Already has a reputation for causing trouble. Such as starting fights, and other hilarious pranks.
Jessica aggressively keeps the incident that lead to her enrollment into the Academy a secret. Aggressively.
Jessica owns, and drives around in, a large RV. Which is shared by her two lovely companions.
Now let me say this so it doesn't sound like a surprise later. In the past, Lynette has suffered some very extensive injuries that required that she receives amputation. Specifically both her arms cut at the shoulder, her right left cut at the base, and everything below the knee on her left leg. All that's left are useless stubs that she can barely move around. This would normally make it very, very, hard to write as her - but she uses her power to compensate for her missing limbs. Metal limbs take position at the stubs of her missing bodyparts. These metallic constructs look identical to normal limbs - except extremely muscular - made out of a variety of different metals that she has gathered. Specifically Iron, Steel, Nickel, Platinum, Copper, and some Titanium. Which make these prosthetics incredibly durable (And shiny!). Using her willpower alone, she can move these limbs much like her regular limbs. It doesn't look super convincing to the observant eye. Sometimes her walking will look a tad robotic, and her arms will move stiffly. In general she does look a tad awkward when she moves. However, she's still capable of staying balanced, holding objects without breaking them, and anything along those lines. Lynette keeps her limbs covered up with concealing clothing. Fortunately, they're hard to spot unless you touch them.
With her robo limbs out of the way let me describe Lynette's real, fleshy, body parts. By starting with her scars! I mentioned that her limbs were missing, but I never mentioned how. The right and left sides of her body were left with horrible burn scars that coat both sides of her torso, going up her neck, to her face. Only her right cheek has any burn scars - but they're certainly noticeable. Being a fleshy mass of old wounds. Due to healing from Metahumans, and age, the scars have faded a bit, and the nerv damage has been repaired. She just keeps them as proof of what happened. Fortunately, not every inch of her body has been damaged, what isn't scarred shows her body quite well. Lynette is African-American, Dominican, and Puerto-Rican. Lynette's skin is a brown color that isn't super dark, but shows her ethnicity off clearly. Her non-scarred skin is smooth, and has black freckles on her upper body. In terms of build... yeah, it's hard to describe since because of the whole metal limbs thing. Before she was attacked, Lynette was quite tall. Up there with the boys at Five-eleven. It's not that different now that she has metal limbs, but there's a few extra inches added on to it which gives her the illusion that she's over six feet tall. Her body is somewhat curvy. Her behind is tight and round, while her chest sticks out a bit with her D-cup bra size. Though... she's one of the girls that looks better clothed due to all those horrible scars (Unless you're into that).
It's also difficult to workout missing several limbs. Fortunately, Lynette is capable of at least working out her upper body. Though she's still quite limited. With the hellbent intent of keeping in shape, Lynette obsessively eats right, and eats what can build bulk, and it shows in her abs and muscular body. Her body is very tight and toned, just like a NEST Agent should be like. Lynette's hair is a black color, and has an afro-texture. It's straight, and very well cleaned - she passes on intricate hair styles for a simple ponytail. In terms of facial features, Lynette certainly does look more African than Hispanic. Though, some of her facial features looks like a mixture of the two ethnic groups. Her head is heart-shaped, and rather large (Especially her large forehead). Her ears are diamond-shaped, and pointed at the tips, being medium-sized. Lynette has a strong jawline with a rather squared chin. That jaw is one of her most pronounced features. Her nose is round but have rather large nostrils, and much like people of her heritage, she has thick lips.
In terms of outfits, Lynette tends to gravitate towards brown colored clothes. Like I said before, she wears outfits that covers her metal limbs up so she appears perfectly human at a first glance. So, jackets, jeans, etc are the way to go. Since she doesn't have to worry about keeping anything cool other than her toso, she tends to wear a wide variety of outfits. Though, some of it stands out in a crowd (And could be spotted by an observant person). In terms of jewelry, she avoids things like rings - instead opting for earrings and whatnot.
Skills/Talents:
Back when Lynette was younger... she was a prodigy at sports. She was born lucky, because she could pick up anything and be a champion at it whether it was basketball, running, soccer, swimming, etc. She could have competed in the Olympics if her little incident didn't happen. Once she lost limbs... she couldn't do any of this, and it's been awhile since she even practiced. She deemed her dreams taken away from her, and never even tried to get them back. Replacing those lost skills with NEST training, Lynette is at least talented at using basic firearms, basic military hand-to-hand, and military tactics. Lynette knows how to use her limbs enough to be good at these talents as usual agents. Though, she's skilled NEST Agent, at least.
Brief Backstory:
Lynette was one of the girls they say were born lucky.
From a young age it was apparent that she had something special about her. Not only did she started walking earlier than expected, as she grew up, it became apparent that she had a talent in the physical area. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Lynette was the daughter of two humble government workers that, through years of hard work and dedication, managed to reach the upper brass of their line of work. Which meant they were able to live an upper-middle class lifestyle. Enough to support the young and aspiring Lynette. Back to her, her parents were able to spend time with her - with her father teaching her how to play sports. He was honestly surprised that she was able to pick up the sport so well. Getting her invested in the activity quickly proved that she was a prodigy at it. She outplayed even the boys, and did fancy tricks that the amateurs could only dream of. More than even that, she was talented at other sports. Having unmatched speed, coordination, and footwork - that put other people to same.
It brought the girl quite a lot of media attention - she even appeared on the news a few times. They said that she'd be the next big player on whatever sport she chooses. With this in mind, it made the girl quite arrogant as she progressed through school. Being a popular schoolgirl due to her talents. Though, her schoolwork was never something that she excelled at... due to her, quite frankly, not giving a damn about it. She was going to be a sports star - who cares about stupid stuff like school? Lynette just did what she did best - just biding her time until she was eighteen. This gave her the impression that she was invincible, treating people however she wants to. Going from team to team. Though, unlike other teens, she did very little that could ruin that streak.
Once that golden age of eighteen, she was ready to be thrust head first into the world of being a sports superstar...! Then she was told she had to graduate highschool first. Once monotonous schoolyear later, and she was finally ready. However, all good things had to come to an end, and everything she had was taken from her. While walking home from a friend's house, Lynette was kidnapped by a crazed Metahuman with control over fire and brought to an abandoned house. Here, she was tortured by the Metahuman for hours, burned over and over again. She was just begging for it to end.
However, her cries of help didn't go unheard, NEST Agents barged into the scene, and while the Metahuman slipped through their fingers, they managed to save Lynette. However, the damage had already been done. She was rushed to a hospital, but all of her limbs were so severely burned that they had to be amputated. She lost both arms, a leg, and half a leg - and just like that, all her dreams, all her talent, just went to waste. A healing Metahuman took pity on Lynette, and tried to heal her - but their healing ability just wasn't strong enough (It was strong enough to repair most of the nerve damage she suffered). It was unknown why the Metahuman did this. Though, it was suspected that they were either horribly jealous, or the Metahuman was attempting to join the Changeling Unit as one of their "trials."
What Lynette did know that it was the end of everything she worked so hard for. She quickly faded into irrelevance, as she had to depend on her parents to take care of her. Lynette couldn't even wipe her own ass. She immediately fell into a bout of depression - and even contemplated suicide. Sorrow and emptiness filled her soul as everything set in. There were days where Lynette would refuse to eat - and had to be force-fed just so she'd stay alive. She was a sack (Almost literally) of self loathing.
All these emotions (and a lack thereof) was what (she believes) lead to her power developing. While her mother was feeding her, the fork suddenly bent. Weird things also began happening to the metal - until she realized that it was her causing it. Curiosity started to make her fight her depression as she experimented with the ability. What she didn't have in range, she had the ability to shape metal to her will. There was one experiment she wanted to try; she gathered all the metal together in her room and formed a metal leg. It was a challenge, but she managed to get herself on the leg - using other pieces of spare metal to make a prosthetic for her other leg. The experiment was straining on the girl who was unfamiliar with her ability, but it paid off when she realized the implications of her ability. Lynette's family contacted NEST and got her registered with the organization. The Agents were kind enough to loan her some metal so she can get some more practice with her new "body." Substituting metal for limbs.
It took her years, but Lynette mastered the ability to use these metals as limbs. Walking again became easy, and so did using her arms (In fact, she could argue that it was better). Though, she long lost everything that she had - and no matter how hard she tried, she was never the same. It was almost like she was a different person. What began to replace depression was rage, and a lust for revenge. The bastard was still out there, and she wanted to get payback for everything she lost. The only thing she could think of was joining NEST, and finding the bastard herself. Lynette was accepted as a NEST Agent after carefully fooling their therapists on her mental assessments. It was a bit more challenging than she thought. Lynette was able to get through the training in three years (It took her a little longer due to her obvious disadvantage).
After those years were up, she came out as an officer. Though, she couldn't fool everyone about her problems. Lynette wanted revenge - and would often take out her rage on targets. Acting way out of bounds. She was reprimanded several times - but the only thing stopping her from getting outright fired was the fact that she was a skilled NEST Agent, getting the job done. However, this attitude was waned when she encountered other seasoned NEST agents (Such as Sonya Mayfield, Maximilian Cornell, and such and such). They caused her to realize how irrationally she was acting, and how she was slipping.
This was when her attitude and behavior changed - she started being a NEST agent not for revenge, but to make sure that what happened to her, never happens to anyone else. This was when she started getting much more cheerful, and her life started getting easier. She no longer abused her power, but instead acted within NEST protocol. Lynette was no longer on the verge of being dishonorably discharged, and received status within the agency for her skill. Along with getting in the good graces of the NEST veterans (Which made it easier to get promotions).
Since Lynette had no family (and didn't plan on it), she was shifted all over the country throughout the years. Eventually, New Rivere City was one of those cities.
Power Information
Power Class:
Elemental
Power: Tactile-Metal Manipulation
Lynette's power manifested in the way of a very short ranged metal manipulation. She is capable of manipulating all forms of metal; raw or refined. Moving them, shaping them, and the sort without cracking them or breaking them - with willpower alone. Unlike other elemental types, Lynette uses her power through sheer willpower rather than through body movements. A little bit like a telekinetic. One neat thing about metal is that it is mostly tough, thermal resistant, conductive, and is pretty damn common. Metals are rather flexible, and can be fused into one another. Lynette's form of Metal manipulation is unique because it's very short ranged, as an upwards range of three feet. Which basically means that it's melee weapon in a sense. Where she lacks in range, she makes up for in power (And she has even more power when she's in direct contact with the metal). She can swing metal with the strength to leave some pretty hefty cracks in the pavement (If it's not outright shattered into pieces).
This gives Lynette the illusion of super strength - which might not be an illusion since she can easily will metal to move objects like she could if she had arms. Those metal limbs of hers can strike hard enough to crack someone's skull, or block a full force punch from a super strong meta. Even if they get damaged, she can easily repair it by snapping it back into shape, or infusing it with metal. Oh, speaking of which, Lynette can infuse this metal with outside metal in order to add mass to them. Which gives her more to work with when she shapes them. It's also not impossible for her to preform ranged attacks. It's simply shooting a piece of metal out that's no different than throwing it - getting it back is the hard part. Lynette can also instinctively sense any form of metal within ten feet of herself (believed to be linked to electromagnetism).
Limits:
Like I said before, this metal manipulation is so short ranged that it loses the edge that most elemental types have. It's basically a short-ranged weapon... a powerful short ranged weapon. But other people can out maneuver her if possible. Lynette can move a few tons of metal at a time - but that's highly unlikely that it'll come into play because try fitting two cars into a three foot dome. Lynette also can't, under any circumstance, swim (Or enter water for that matter). The metal that is attached to her will weigh her down to the bottom, and if she takes it off, she'll be basically helpless.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
There's the obvious weaknesses attaching heavy metal to yourself. She's heavy as hell, and thus, she's slow to boot. Lynette's body, as you may have expected, is still completely flesh and bones. There's only so much metal she can attach to herself before it starts hurting her body. This naturally puts a certain amount of strain on her. Lynette also relies on her power to move around and function in normal life. If she's too exhausted, then she'll be basically immobile. The same applies if her power gets nullified. Magnetism and Electricity interfere with her ability, it weakens the bond between herself and metal. A tiny magnet can weaken her slightly, while an industrial magnet can render her powerless. Which means that she should stay away from them magnets. Electricity can also damage her due to the sheer conductivity of metal. Heat and cold also have logical weaknesses for her metal limbs. You see, if her limbs get too hot/cold, then it'll start to damage her fleshy parts. Which is bad.

Lynette is a bit of brash NEST Agent that doesn't let people in that easily. She's been mentally scarred by the incident that left her so broken and isn't the most social because of it. What lacks in social graces, she makes up for in sheer determination and effectiveness. Her moral code was strengthened by NEST, and she rarely gives up when perusing rouge Metahumans. Though, she suffers from an extreme amount of PTSD from the incident earlier in her life.
Lynette tries to suppress it, but she has an intense fear of fire.
Veronica Emily Davis (Changeling Name: The Terror)
Age:
20
Gender:
Female
Appearance:
Veronica is a girl that stands out due to two things; her eyes, and her hair. Her eyes are a bright-green color, and round almond-shaped. Quite large, too. Easily the most pronounced part of her face. As for her hair, it's standout because of it's wavy (Almost curly) hair texture, and how it goes straight to her back. Which creates a sharp contrast with her white, ivory skin. Which means she fits the raven hair, ivory skin trope! Speaking of her skin, it lacks scars due to her life-style which didn't involve too much action. She does have a few scars on her skin from childhood falls, and blunders while playing Tennis. Veronica is obviously Caucasian, and is a pot of various European backgrounds. Hailing from Quebec, Veronica is part French, Icelandic, and Welsh. Which shows in her striking and pronounced facial features. Her face is oval shaped, and her facial features are quite sharp, and blend into each other quite well. Starting with her full, pointy-lips, which are barely disproportionate to her medium-sized button nose that is round and compact. Her ears are a crescent shape, and are larger than she'd like them to be. In fear of being called dumbo, she keeps them hidden behind her hair. I've already gone over her eyes. Veronica's build was enhanced by her genes somewhat. She's a skinny girl that stays fit due to a large amount of exercise, and her metabolism working in her favor. Veronica doesn't have a lot of body fat on her, and a faint muscle tone. The girl has a bit of height to her, standing at five-foot-nine. Standing tall as the guys! Not something that she is particularly proud of, however. Veronica has a bust that would ample on a shorter girl, being C-cup, but her behind more than makes up for it. Being gigantic for a girl her height.
Skills/Talents:
When Veronica was still in school, she became quite an expert at Tennis. Her footwork, reflexes, and speed are quite good along with her skill. She doesn't play it as much - but whenever she gets the chance, she stops by a tennis court and practices (At times, plays some scrubs at it). Being a native of Quebec, and otherwise French-Canadian, she knows how to speak French fluently. In terms of social skills, Veronica is quite charismatic... and manipulative. She knows how to make people bend around her finger to do as she pleases. Veronica's time with the Changelings have also taught her combat skills. Not only using her power, but fighting without it. Veronica knows her way around a gun, and prefers pistols above all else.
Brief Backstory:
ailing from Quebec, Veronica is the daughter of a CEO of a clothings company. Veronica lived the privileged life, baby! However, unlike most people, she didn't really have mommy and daddy around. Due to the fact that the circumstances of her birth weren't ideal for either party. Her mother was a young, impressionable, model who was looking for fame, and her father took advantage of that. Getting the model to sleep with him in order to get herself a name. She agreed - and Veronica was the result of that relationship. Now, her father was too busy running his company, and didn't have the time to interact with his daughter, and her relationship with her mother was shaky at best (Being ashamed of her daughter). So, Veronica was left in her father's mansion, and in the care of a team of maids and butlers. Which meant that it was up to them to raise her... and the results weren't pretty.
What was more was there was more to this company than her father let on. This simple clothing company was one of the many that had ties to the Hands of Science. One of the organization's backers. Veronica's father was using this in order to get backdoor deals on their fancy serums - also helping them target Metahumans to kidnap. All in the name of money.
Growing up, Veronica didn't exactly develop a kind heart. Taking what little interactions that she had with her parents to heart, she developed the idea that she had to be great to get to the best places in life. Better than other people - and that she could step on them as she saw fit. This trait manifested and became pronounced during her time in school. Going through school, Veronica did everything in her power to become the best. The best looking, having the most friends, and excelling in school - due to her father's influence, she could go to wealthy, high-class, schools. Even if she didn't legitimately accomplish it, she did a few backdoor deals in order to accomplish it. She became the epitome of hubris, and she had plenty to back it up. Due to her ruthless pursuit, she gathered a lot of friends in school.
Veronica's main claim to fame was Tennis. She drove herself to become a Tennis star, boasting that she would become a professional, and laugh at everyone underneath her. Veronica's interactions with her father was limited, but served only to further her attitude. They had a positive opinion of each other - being quite similar in many, many, respects. Despite the fact they remained distant from each other, he was the only person Veronica came to seeing as an sequel. However, Mr. Davis was all about seeing his daughter become the best. Using his backdoor deals with the Hands of Science, he managed to purchase a power serum for Veronica. She was, at first, very hesitant, but after realizing all the incredible things she could be capable of, she took the serum. Just to put herself on par with the freaks that roam this world.
At first, she didn't realize what it had done. Until she could feel electrical currents flowing around her. A few internet searches about Metahuman testimonials had got her experimenting. Eventually, it appeared that she had electromagnetism at her fingertips. After she realized that she had this amazing power. She quickly vowed to learn it, realizing that it was just proof that she was superior to other people, and took pride in her ability. All in private. Whenever she was alone in her room, she'd bring some dinnerware, and play around. Despite practicing, she could never quite get it down. It took her years until she could get a grasp on it. Though, this was something that she kept secret from NEST for obvious reasons. The last thing she wanted to do was live under their rules.
Veronica became the Prom Queen, and a few years after that, she graduated from school. Getting ready to reach the next stage in her life. Though, there was a rival in her father's business that wanted to be head of the company. So, he did the simplest thing; expose the man for all his dirty deeds (Save for the connection to the Hands of Science). While returning home, the police had raided the mansion, and pulled out all sorts of delicious things (Drugs, money, and stolen goods). Father Davis was arrested, and their family bank account was frozen. Which meant that the family had nothing.
Suddenly, everything that Veronica had was taken from her. Money, friends, school, and opportunities were long gone, and the only opportunities she had now was working in a fast food restaurant, and living in a shitty motel. This filled Veronica with an anger like no other, and a desire for revenge against those who "wronged" her. Which lead her down a very dark path... the path of evil personified.
Her anger and her incredible power made her a prime candidate for the Changeling Unit.
She was approached by the Changeling leadership... Luis, Heartbreaker, and the Mannequin, and offered a spot in the Changeling Unit, and seduced by all the rewards. Veronica took the chance without hesitation. Though, she had to "prove" herself to them by going through five hellish trials. Veronica had dark ambition, and aced every trial they set before her, until she was deemed worthy of being a Changeling. There, she stopped being Veronica, and started being the "Terror." Being one of the Changeling Unit's strongest assets. Though, she was repulsed by the group's sadism and depravity, she couldn't turn down the money and status within the organization. Veronica got plenty of practice using her power by carrying out missions assigned by Luis'. She became quite skilled in using it, far more skilled than ever before. Veronica was also a trusted member of the Changeling Unit.
However, once the Unit was exposed to the world, the group split up into two groups. Heartbreaker's group, that went to Verthaven. Luis' group, that went to Toronto to pursue a Metahuman. Veronica was apart of neither group. She was assigned a special mission by Luis to investigate a few matters that have been disturbing him. For starters, a woman who attacked an Academy with her own group. He wanted to know about their motives, and a possible recruitment into the Changeling Unit. The other thing that Luis wanted looked into was something he wasn't willing to share much about - but he wanted to know about a person who called himself the "Black Hound." Veronica, not one to disappoint, set out to find these people.
She tracked them for months until she ended in New Rivere City.
Power Information
Power Class:
Elemental: Energy
Power: Electro-Magnetism.
Veronica possesses the mighty ability to control the electromagnetic phenomena. This ability manifests itself as control over electricity, and magnetism. Each in their own ways.
First, and foremost, Veronica has the ability to emit her own electromagnetic field that she can perceive, and manipulate as she pleases. This field manifests as a dome that goes out twenty feet in all directions. This gives her a wide variety of abilities, the most notable being her ability to move any ferrous material, whether it be metal (Iron, steel, etc), or otherwise - assisted by a background ability (A combination of telekinesis, and metal manipulation). She's capable of manipulating these materials much like any other bender-type. Veronica is highly capable of manipulating a large amount of metal at a time. She's capable of lifting up and throwing a car... but it's such a feat that it'd cause her to pass out afterwards. Veronica fully acknowledges how impractical that is - and instead chooses to smaller uses which are even more effective in fights. A storm of knives can be just as devastating.
However, she also deals with attraction and repulsion of these metals. Yes, she can attract anything ferrous to herself, and repulse it. Veronica can also attract metal to a specific part of herself. However, she can magnetize metals such as steel by touching it and "passing" the ability onto another source. She can't control it, per se- it automatically attracting all metals around herself. Another technique she's capable of by creating these fields is a "shield". In effect, it's essentially a shield that stops any metals, and holds them within the field until she disperses it. The mechanics, however, is that Veronica is setting her field into "automatic" mode, where it automatically catches any metal, and this method takes quite a bit of concentration. This field is especially useful for stopping bullets (Long as they have steel jackets). Pistol rounds will slow down until they stop, however, higher caliber rounds will take more effort to stop.
The other half of her ability is electrokinesis - nothing that'd make her Thor, however. Electricity and Magnetism is very closely connected, and thus, she has a limited control over the energy. Just to address the obvious, yes, Veronica is capable of controlling electricity in the direct way. Such as controlling how it flows, or producing electricity that she can directly shoot. It isn't like a bolt of lightning, more like a continuous stream. At it's extreme, it's no more powerful than a, say, stun gun. Though, make no mistake, any amount of electricity can stop a man's heart. Veronica is capable of distributing larger amounts of powerful electricity on touch, which is powerful enough to fry someone if she holds on for long enough. However, Veronica has the ability to absorb electricity (which will play a vital part of keeping her power functioning). This, of course, means she can enhance her electrical attacks (Even the ranged ones). At most, she can absorb a lightning bolt's worth of electricity - however, she can't actually absorb a bolt of lightning, and it's unlikely she'll be able to even absorb this much (Refer to the limits section).
Veronica is also capable of dispersing electricity - low amounts of it, however. She can't possibly shut down a dedicated electrokinetic. Veronica can control electrostatic forces, and cling to objects. Veronica's own abilities also give her a flight ability. She can't fly high like Superman, but she can levitate ten feet off the ground at a pace comparable to herself walking. Whenever Veronica starts using her power, her eyes start glowing green, with green electrical arcs appearing from her eyes. Interestingly enough, all metals she controls will be surrounded with a green electricity, any electricity she produces will also be glowing green.
Limits:
These powers have a few limits which restrain her from becoming Magneto. Veronica's power is dependent on whether or not she currently has a magnetic field up. Up until she does, she's powerless. Veronica is only capable of control metals within the bounds of her own field, which extends twenty feet in all directions. Anything outside of it is out of her hands. Veronica's fields have a limited "charge", shall we say. Over time, the electromagnetic field will eventually decay, and become unstable. When it becomes unstable, obviously, her control within the field will deteriorate. Up until it finally gives up, and she's powerless. This happens after using her fields for a large period of time... takes around fifteen minutes of use for the field to start getting wonky. Once it runs out, Veronica will have to haul ass and absorb electricity, or another Magnetic field, in order for her powers to start working again.
Absorbing electricity has it's own two problems. For starters, she isn't completely immune to electricity. Her control over it is what stops her from electrocuting herself. If she isn't fully prepared, she can be electrocuted like anyone else. Veronica also can't absorb a lot of electricity at once. While she can hold a lot of electricity at once - suddenly absorbing a lot will cause it to overwhelm her and simply electrocute her. She'll need to slowly absorb electricity to reach that level of charge. The other half is that, if she absorbs an excessive amount of electricity, she'll have to quickly release it. Having too much electricity in her will exacerbate weaknesses below. Not only that, the electricity can overload Veronica, and eventually shock her, if she holds it in too long.
Obviously, anything that isn't metal or electricity is a completely different ball-park. Someone can beat the fuck out of her if they pull out a wooden plank or sex toy! Veronica's electricity powers aren't as strong as a electrokinetic mutant's ability. She can't produce a powerplant's worth of electricity, but what she can produce can be a pain in the ass for someone without an insulator of some sort. Now, electricity has a range before it starts to disperse. The further it goes out from Veronica, the less powerful it'll be. For balance, let's just say that Veronica's Electromagnetic fields hold the electricity together, and it'll disperse the second it leaves the field.
Weaknesses:
Veronica's magnetic field can be destroyed by high amounts of heat. In fact, if a metal is too hot, she can't control it. And metal is a very good heat conductor. She won't be able to even get her magnetic field up in the first place if it's too hot. Which means that heat-based Metahumans are her bane. Veronica's power is electrically based, and very charge/current based. Water is what disrupts those currents. If someone throws water on her, say a cup, then her power will be interfered with as the currents will go into the water. If she's the slightest bit wet, all electricity will go into the water no matter what she does (Though, the water will evaporate eventually). Getting submerged/soaked in water will cause Veronica's charge to disappear, and she'll be powerless up until she's dry, and finds electricity or a magnetic field to restart her power.
Now, Veronica's power is connected to her own bio-electricity. This works against her in two ways. Using her powers will begin to disrupt the electrical signals in her body. Which can potentially cause violent twitching, or she'll lose the ability to properly control her body parts. Which can be a pain in the ass. The other way it's a weakness is that it's a steady, careful, balance. In case another electricity comes into the mix, it can screw up her power. Now, while Veronica can control electricity, she has to be on guard, prepared, etc or she's weak to it as anyone else. It also requires concentration, and interrupting it can cause her to shock herself. Something that can ruin her concentration would be hitting her while she's charging up an attack.

A domineering and calculated girl. Growing up, she's gotten the impression that you need to be ruthless to get to the places you need to be in life. Which is why she carries herself with utmost confidence, and strength. She will rise to any challenge just to show everyone that she's the greatest. However, this turns into her flaw, because she tends to go to idiotic lengths in this pursuit. To other people, she can come off as snobbish, callous, and at times, aloof. She tends to associate herself with a select few people - the rich, the strong, the powerful, etc, and ignore the rest. Merely because she has zero time for losers. Veronica is also secretly bisexual, presents herself as heterosexual.
Veronica brought a few weapons with her from the Changeling stockpile. Two Smith and Wesson 4506's, a Smith and Wesson 500, a few combat knives, and several throwing knives (To use with her power). Veronica doesn't bring all of them around with her for concealment sake. She usually brings one pistol, and a few throwing knives. She isn't expecting a fight, but she's prepared.
If there is anything Garrett is good at, it’s appearing average. He isn’t the type of guy you would spare a second look at. Standing at 6’1’’ and weighing roughly 180lbs, he is exactly what people have in mind when they think ‘starving bachelor living away from home with a crappy job’. Tall but lanky, completed with the pale complexion of a night owl and the plastic smile of someone who couldn’t care less, Garrett looks at home behind the flimsy receptionist desk of his granddad’s motel. He isn’t all skin and bones though; a childhood in the harsh neighbour of Highroller Heights did put emphasis on skills such as running and knowing when to fight back, so there is some definition to him, just not something you’d write home about. His hair is of a light golden hue, which can look almost white under certain light, and his eyes are pale blue. It is quite obvious that he is Caucasian.
As for apparel, while his budget doesn’t allow him to be trendy, Garrett does make the effort to not look like a slob. On casual occasions, he is often seen with simple t-shirts and jeans, with a hoodie or some worn coat thrown over when it gets cold. When he is at work or feels the need to be formal, he will throw on crisp white shirts and some decent pairs of jeans with no stains on them. His most prized, and probably most expensive possession is a silver bracelet made of woven chain links and a thin band with the marred engravings.
Skills/Talents:
Firearms: Garrett knows a thing or two about guns. Just enough shoot straight and not accidentally hurt himself. However, it appears this is not a skill he is particularly proud of, as he never mentions it to anyone.
Street-smart: Garrett likes to know things. Not a healthy habit, but he does, anyway. Just small things though, like if where to get those little pick-me-up pills really quick and easy, or which number to call for cheap second-hand cars with no questions asked.
Observant: People-watching is one of his favorite past times, but just because he usually has a copious amount of time to do it. It has become almost second-nature to him now, noting details and forming judgement from just a few glances.
Brief Backstory:
Garrett didn’t have what you’d call a normal, happy childhood. He was orphaned from a very young age, though for what reason, his few remaining family members didn’t elaborate, sparing him the grisly details. All he knew was that there was a fire, and the house collapsed, meanwhile he survived thanks to a broken arm that landed him in the hospital. After the incident, he came to live his grandfather, a pensioner and proprietor of a small motel in Highroller Heights. His uncle also lived there, occupying a small room on the ground floor. At that point, life was fairly easy on him. His grandfather was rather eccentric, the years weighed heavily on both his body and his mind, so he wasn’t always coherent. His uncle, on the other hand, was rather…dodgy. He would shut himself in his room for days on end, only to come out smell faintly of gasoline. Not that the man was unkind to him, just slightly aloof.
When he was old enough, Garrett balanced between school, fun time with friends and helping out at the motel, not that he was very passionate about the first one. Schools around those parts weren’t particularly good, chocked full of delinquents and whatnots. While he wasn’t the shining beacon of justice, his granddad’s bizarre sense of honor (which basically boiled down to ‘don’t be a dick’) rubbed off on him and he did try to not get into too much trouble. He picked up a few things from them though, like the interest in firearms for once. His uncle was surprisingly accommodating and supportive of this hobby, even going as far as giving Garrett a handgun on his 18th birthday.
The peaceful days came to an end, eventually, when one day, a team of NEST agents busted down the door of a room at his motel and dragged a man out. It wasn’t someone he knew personally, just another drifter who paid for the roof over his head and not questions. The scene was disconcerting nonetheless, Garrett felt uneasy as they slapped a collar on the drifter and led him away like a stray dog. It affected his granddad even more. The old man was quiet as dead when the agents did their job, watching them with darkened eyes, but as soon as they were out of the door, he was almost hysteric, mumbling gibberish while dragging around a suitcase and shoving Garrett’s things inside. Even his uncle dropped the ‘cool guy’ façade and tried to restrain granddad, fearing that the dementia finally kicked in. Maybe it had, because instead of answering his uncle’s questions, the old man dropped what he was doing, shoved his uncle aside and came at Garrett with the stun gun they kept under the counter for emergency.
Garrett swatted the weapon away, naturally, but not before feeling the cold touch of metal on his neck. It didn’t hurt though, quite the opposite of it actually. The electric current was…soothing as it came into contact with his skin. And that how he and his uncle found out about his power. It only got worse from there though. His uncle didn’t take the news very well. The last words he ever said to Garrett was a snarling “Just like his father!”, before the man proceeded to disappear into his room and avoid interactions since. Between his grandfather’s paranoia and his uncle’s growing resentment, Garrett developed mixed feelings about his power. It did not help that the NEST scene kept playing over and over in his head. So he decided he had enough. The next day, he packed up and left. That was three months after his graduation from high school.
Three years later, he found himself working as a hotel receptionist in the Outer-Ring of New Riviere city. His work place was something of a high-end hotel, at least by Outer-Ring standards, caters to tourists with a taste for adventure or thugs taking their lady-friends out on payday. Not the most glamorous of work, but it paid the bills. Furthermore, NEST presence wasn’t that strong in the area. Over the years, he had got wiser, outgrowing the childish fears and prejudices. However, that didn’t mean he wanted to tangle with the NEST, especially with his status as one those unregistered metahumans.
Power Information
Power Class: Elemental
Power:
Electricity Maniplulation, or more specificly, Garrett has the ability to generate, shape and manipulate electric currents. He can make it coursing through him, electrocuting anyone unfortunate enough to come into range with varying results. When needed, he can also shoot arcs of lightning from his hands, should the need arise. While he is capable of generating his own currents, he can also take in electricity through other sources, significantly increasing his strength and reflexes temporary. He often refers to this state as ‘charged’, and during these times, his eyes glow an eerie blue and his control over electricity is amplified. With this power, he can also create a magnetic field around him, allowing to either draw in or expel metal objects at will.
Limits:
His biggest limit would probably be his range. His power only extents about 2 or 3 feet from his person, and generating electricity is rather taxing. With debilitating currents strong enough to knock his foes out, he can probably stand to generate them dozens of times. But as for those strong enough to kill an adult, he will have to expend quite a sizeable amount of energy. Therefore, he can probably do that for two or three times before stumbling into a burnt-out state. In this stage, all his energy is completely spent and he will lose access to his power in a couple of hours or even a day, depending on the severity of his exhaustion. He can recover quicker by recharging at a power source, but this process is also going to take up to 4 hours.
One more thing to note about his power is that it comes in quick, devastating burst. Garrett finds continuous usage, like maintaining a magnetic field constantly, extremely tiring. It causes his body to overheat and he will be forced to take a break around every fifteen minutes, or risk reaching his burnt-out stage prematurely.
His magnetic field is fairly weak as well. While it allows him limited control over metal objects, its potency varies depending on the type of metal and he can only affect small or relatively light objects (forks and keychains and toasters). Heavier and bigger objects will instead either drawing him to or propelling him away from them, and not always in the direction or with the speed he wants them to. Furthermore, this ability is not selective. He has no control over what he will attract or repel. Sometimes, when he tried to grab the keys from the counter, the toaster also came loose and hit him on the head. Theoretically, he can also use this ability to affect the paths of projectiles such as bullets, but that will require complete concentration and an immense amount of energy.
In his ‘charged’ state, he is indeed stronger, faster and has access to a greater reservoir of energy, depending on how much he charged. However, there are also drawbacks. Greater charges will make him overheat faster and will force him to take frequent breaks, while weaker charges aren’t as potent. Naturally, it also takes time for him to charge up, usually from 15 minutes to 4 hours using a common electricity outlet.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
Water is the bane of his existence. Sure, normally, he can be just fine around water. But when using his power, contact with water will cause his power to haywire, dampening his ability and causing him to lose control. In his ‘charged’ state, contact with water will cause him to lose all his accumulated energy in a devastating and painful blast.

They are slightly lighter than average due to being quite skinny with a general lack of muscles. Rori certainly isn't athletic or strong looking, in fact they are really quite scrawny in that respect. Much to they're announced Rori is reasonably well sized at her chest, being around a C or D cup. Most people born female would be happy with this but it hardly helps with Rori's gender dysphoria. Most of the time Rori will be found wearing a binder to make her chest look a lot flatter. So in most circumstances Rori has a more gender neutral body and the lack of other curves helps this.
To help in having a more gender neutral appearance Rori has their hair cut short. It is in a somewhat messy style, not so short that strands don't fall across their face. Occasionally they will style it in some way but often it is just left in a mess as if they had just woken up. While naturally Rori's hair is a dark red-ginger in colour, a rather nice colour, they tend to have it dyed. This is due to them being somewhat embarrassed about the hair colour - they were teased about it at a younger age. At the moment it is dyed a dark blue. Their skin tone is fair and freckled, with a myriad of freckles covering their face. They have light brown-yellow eyes, slightly more yellow than they are brown. These are quite large and probably the most predominant facial feature. Their face is slightly round in its shape giving them quite a cute appearance and making them look a bit younger than you would expect. Cute is probably a good term to use to describe Rori, and the smile that is permanently across their lips makes them look really quite friendly.
On top of their more normal humanoid features Rori has a few that are not so humanoid. One unnatural thing about Rori is their eyes, though this isn't always obvious from a distance. They are more like a bird's than a humans and as a result does not blink with their eyelids but rather by a third hidden eyelid, the nictitating membrane. This isn't often noticeable however. Along with this various parts of their body are covered in a soft down-like feathers. These are a light reddish-brown in colour, similar to that of their natural hair. Most of the other bird features they have aren't easily visible.
Clothing wise Rori tends to wear outfits that are more gender neutral. You won't find them in a dress or a skirt any time soon. They most often wear baggy and concealing shirts, with a binder underneath, and more loose jeans or trouser(pants) and trainers. They are almost always found wearing the same dark green hoody. They predominantly dress in green, with some darker blues to match their hair along with black and white.
Skills/Talents:
Socialising: Rori is incredibly friendly and cheerful, if a bit shy, meaning they excel in social situations and find it easy to make friends. In general they are very easy to get along with.
Optimistic: Though not much of a skill, Rori can make the most out of a bad situation and isn't one to let what is happening get the best of them. This means they can help cheers others up and will keep calm if things take a turn for the worse.
Creative: Rori is good at both writing and drawing/painting and enjoys doing both. They often get inspiration for stories for the most random things. They always carry a notebook or sketchpad around with them and often will just start writing or sketching.
Musical: To add to their creativity Rori is quite musical. They play a few instruments, including the piano, clarinet, violin and Irish tin whistle. They also enjoy listening to music and have a good sense of rhythm, always open to pick up more instruments.
Brief Backstory:
Rori was born to a relatively large family. They were the fourth child born into the family, with an older brother and two older sisters. Their younger brother was born just a year after they were. Their parents were strict Christians and brought up all of their children to be religious as well. This wasn't something that Rori ever liked but they had to go along with it. Along with this their parents were incredibly anti-metahuman.
Even though Rori had little in common with their siblings they always tried to get along with them and most often succeeded. They got on best with their younger brother, Conor, though he was rather annoying. There was the smallest age gap between the two of them which helped. However the person Rori did got on very well with was their cousin, Max. The two families grew up near each other and Rori would spend a lot of time with their cousin. The two got on, though Max was a much less friendly and more troublesome individual than Rori. However when Rori was eight there was a fall out between the two families. They were forbidden from seeing Max again and eventually Max and her family moved away to another city.
Rori lived a relatively normal life until they were twelve. It was at this point that they began to become aware enough to question they had been assigned at birth. Rori certainly didn't feel like a girl, felt uncomfortable within their own body and disliked being lumped in with either of the binary genders. They eventually came to the conclusion that they were neither. It took a lot of courage but they told their family. The result wasn't good. The only reaction they got was negative and then given the strict warning to never talk about it 'or else.' This was one of the more unhappy periods of Rori's life as they were forced to keep going under the name Roisin and as a girl.
It was shortly after this that her powers began to manifest. The change was subtle at first. Their eyesight changed - getting better. Then they stopped blinking and began to form light feathers across her body. They did their best to hide this even though they didn't know what was going on. Rori panicked a lot more when they first changed shape into a bird. Having no idea what was going on and panicking slightly they continued to try and hide it.
They were around thirteen when their parents walked in on them mid-change. It was safe to say Rori became more of a disappointment than they had been before. The fear on their parents faces was clear. For the next few days their parents said nothing. But Rori noticed the difference, and heard the private phone calls they made. Their parent's hatred for metahumans seemed to extend even to their child. Things took a turn for the worse when Rori overheard a conversation her father had on the phone that suggested they would send Rori away to have their powers removed and, if that wasn't possible (which is clearly wasn't), to have them killed.
Feeling even more scared than before Rori didn't have much choice but to pack a bag and run away from home. While this wasn't exactly the nicest experience they spent minimal time on the streets before coming into contact once again with Max, the cousin they had once been close to. It was something of a chance encounter but led to Max taking in Rori (though Max herself was hardly an adult at the time). They were somewhat shocked to find out about their involvement in gang crime. While Sal tried to push them into it, Max was always against it. However inevitable Rori began to help somewhat though they were never particularly happy about it.
However after a close call with NEST agents were both Sal and Max were almost caught the three have moved again, leaving Sal and Max's uncle to make a life in New Rivière City. They haven't been there long and are only beginning to find their footing.
Power Information
Power Class:
Super-System (Bestial)
Power: Permanent Features
Rori has a few birdlike features that remain even when they are in a humanoid form. Their eyes are more birdlike than other humans. This gives them a much better vision than normal humans meaning she can see longer distances and colours in the ultraviolet spectrum just as birds do. However with this they struggle to move their eyes and often has to move their head around to look in other directions. Along with this they have light down-like feather covering a lot of their body - including along visible parts of their body like their arms and neck. This acts as an extra layer of clothes in terms of keeping them warm. They're bones are also lighter and stronger than most, like a birds, as if to allow for them to fly. However they have no way to fly as a human, so these just make her lighter than she looks. It allows her to jump higher than the normal person but she wasn't quite blessed with wings as a human.
Transformation
Rori can transform fully into a few forms of birds. As a bird they have all of the features of a bird and it is difficult to tell the difference from her and a bird. However she retains her intelligence and mind, so often if a bird is acting as a bird should not it is probably Rori. This comes with all the features of whatever bird she turns into. She tends to turn into the average bird for that type in terms of size, strength and speed.
Limits:
Difficulty rolling their eyes due to them being birdlike and as a result has to move their head more. their eyesight is better than normal humans but not quite as good as the best birds eyesight.
Rori is limited in the types of birds she can turn into. At the moment she can turn into a thrush (she tends to go for a robin), a kestrel, a hawk, a hummingbird, a duck and an owl. She can turn into any species from these sections. Along with this she can only make the change a few times per day unless she pushes herself.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
If they look into the far distance for too long they can strain their eyes meaning that their vision will go blurry and it is difficult for them to see anything.
Rori gets incredibly exhausted and ravenous after changing from their bird form back to their human form. This can easily be solved by eating a lot of food and a long nap. However if they don't get this they are prone to collapse without warning or faint from the fatigue. Along with this the longer they stay in their bird form the more they takes on the characteristics of the bird. It is likely that if they remained as a bird for a prolonged period of time they will probably forget who they are and how to turn back into a human. This would mean Rori would be permanently stuck in the form of a bird.
Ruri also sometimes get stuck mid-change which is incredibly painful and traumatic. It can take them hours to get out of this state. Along with this they are often left in pain after the change and feel like they have limbs that they no longer have (such as wings).

Rori absolutely hates the name Roisin, and the only time they really get annoyed is when someone calls them by that name (or refers to them as a girl or boy)
The nickname Robin was one given to them by their cousin, Max, when they were younger due to Rori having red hair like a Robin's chest and being quite flighty/timid as a child
Personality wise Rori is very friendly, upbeat, cheerful and optimistic. They tend to like to joke around with other people and can often be quite teasing.
Rori's father is Irish, and moved over to the US as a young adult
Basic Information
Name:
Maxine Ivanna Diaz 'Max'
Age:
19
Gender:
Female
Appearance & Attire:
Often found wearing a somewhat violent expression Max can be rather intimidating, even at only 5'3" tall. There are certainly rare occasions where she does not look as if she is about to kill all those around but those are, well, few and far between. Max looks reasonably strong for her height. Her raw strength is something that she works on through training in combat and doing a lot of exercise. She is certainly physically fit and this is something that is often obvious when people she her. While she is certainly not overweight, most of her weight coming from the muscles she has, she couldn't be described as skinny. She has an unfortunate lack of curves, something that she herself doesn't care about. Her chest isn't quite flat but in certain clothing it's difficult to tell if anything is there. Max certainly doesn't have anything near the ideal feminine body, often looking somewhat more masculine. She pulls it off, however, and has no issue with the lack of curves. She isn't look for people to be attracted to her anyway.
Max's hair is a dark brown in colour. The left hand side is practically shaved, styled as an undercut. The rest is swept over to the right and often covers her eyes. At the front this falls to her chin and at the back it goes just past the nape of her neck. Sometimes she'll have her hair slightly dyed. The ends of it are currently a reddish colour from the last time she dyed it but the rest is it's natural colour. Her hair frames her incredibly dark brown, almost black eyes. Her eyes are turned up slightly and somewhat narrow. Her face is slightly oval shaped with surprisingly soft lines. Her skin tone is an olive tanned tone thanks to her Latin American/Hispanic heritage. She has thick, dark eyebrows and medium sized lips. All of this together means that her facial features look a lot more feminine than her body does. However she only rarely wears makeup, and in when she does it tends to be very dark. She has quite a few visible scars on both her face and arms, all from fights. There are quite a few that are also hidden by any clothes she wears.
Max tends to wear clothes that are a mix of blacks and reds, with the occasional other dark colour or white thrown in there. She tends to go for some combination of ripped jeans, tank tops (or any top really) along with a leather jacket and boots.
Skills/Talents:
Fighting: Max is good at hand to hand combat and street fighting. She got most of her training from criminals and as a result fights dirty. She knows how to use weapons like a knife in combat if needed.
Deception: Max is a pretty good liar, good to spinning a tale and getting people to believe her. This helps with all sorts of things. It can help make people believe she's harmless and often makes it all the easier to steal from them, or something similar.
Gymnastics: Though she doesn't necessarily look it Max is pretty flexible due to doing gymnastics at a young age, and continuing it for a bit in her early teens. She kept up this flexibility and can do all sorts of fancy things such as handstands and forward flips. It's not a skill she uses much anymore, though.
Gardening: Max rarely admits it but she has something of a talent for growing plants and flowers. She enjoys it as well but tends to keep it secret because it seems like it isn't a tough enough hobby for someone like her to have. Even so she tends to have one or two plants wherever she lives, though she goes for more dangerous varieties.
Brief Backstory:
Max's parent's relationship was built off of something akin to a love story. Her father was a metahuman part of a small gang and her mother a devout Christian. She put her love for him over her religious views, and he gave up the gang life to raise a family. As a result both were somewhat ostracised from their sides of the family.
Even so Max grew up in a loving household. She was surprisingly close to her four year older brother, Sal, and the two of them spent most of their time play fighting (in a friendly way). Along with this Max spent a lot of time with her cousin, Rori (Roisin at the time), though she could tell that things were tense between her mother and her aunt.
Max always knew of the existence of metahumans due to her father and brother being registered as them. Her brother was one of the few born a metahuman with inherited powers, with the super-system power of regeneration. Max was always slightly jealous because she felt that she was normal without a power. At the age of ten Max was forced to up and move, leaving behind her cousin that she had grown close to. She has never been sure of the exact reason but thinks it was something to do with the fact her brother and father were metahumans. They moved to Black Fall and lived here relatively happily until Max was twelve, and her brother sixteen.
The family got in a tragic car accident that resulted in the death of both Max's father and mother. Salvador survived due to his regeneration and Max seemed to survive for the same reason. It was assumed that their father suffered injuries he couldn't recover from. The two of them were sent to live with their uncle on their father's side, who left them mostly to their own devices having never wanted kids.
Max and Sal both fell into a bad crowd at this stage, though Max was mostly tagging along with her older 'cool' brother at this point. After beginning a life of crime they joined a minor metahuman gang. It was here that Max discovered the truth about her powers. She didn't have regeneration, rather she copied another's power. This was why her father had died. The power she had made her a valuable member of the gang. It was here that she learned to fight and steal. By the age of fourteen she was regularly involved in street fights, doing drugs and participating in all sorts of gang activities. She miraculously managed to stay out of NEST's radar, being completely unregistered. However her, and a few others around her age, were caught doing minor crimes and noted down by the police force due to this. At the age of fifteen Max had a chance encounter with her younger cousin, Rori, which ended with her taking them into her care (without permission of her uncle). This didn't stop her and Sal's involvement in crime. Rori ended up getting involved as well, something Max wasn't particularly happy about. But there was nothing she could do to stop it.
However after a close call with NEST agents were both Sal and Max were almost caught the three have moved again, leaving Sal and Max's uncle to make a life in New Rivière City. They haven't been there long and are only beginning to find their footing.
Power Information
Power Class:
Power
Power:
Power Replication
Max has the ability to replicate the powers of others. This replication is not specific to one class, however there are some she struggles to replicate more than others. She seems to find the super-system class the easiest to replicate. She can replicate up to four powers it seems, however they each must be of a different class. So for example she could not replicate two different super-system powers. In terms of choosing whether she can replicate a power, this varies. She has gotten to the stage of control where she can pick and choose whether she replicates a power if it is of the super-system class. However not for the other classes. Any new powers she gets will replace the one in the 'slot' of its class of power, essentially replacing that one. If she does not use a power for a long time she will lose it, in a way. This means she has to use each in a reasonably regular basis.
On top of this she can only use one power at a time. Which power she can use seems to be reset dependant on her sleep - she needs to sleep a certain amount of time to change what power she is using. However there are some limits to this - she must have used the power that she is currently locked into to then change it. This means if she does not know how to use a power she will be stuck with it until she can work out how to do so.
Current Powers Replicated:
Regeneration: (Super-system Class) From her father Max has the ability to regenerate. This allows her to heal wounds that she sustains at a reasonable rate, and she can repair bones and muscle damage at a faster rate than most others. This allows her to survive things that other's wouldn't necessarily be able to.
Telekinesis: (Cerebral Class) Replicated from a member of the gang she was part of before being nabbed by NEST, this is the one that Max tends to stick in since she's reasonably comfortable with it. However it isn't that powerful. She can move one object of a medium wait (say, a chair) and two that are light (for example knives). This takes a decent amount of concentration it is obvious she is the one moving them. She can only pull and push the objects rather than changing their form, such as bending them. However she is working on getting better at this and will probably learn more the more she uses it.
Limits:
She has to have skin to skin contact to replicate someone's power. The longer she holds this contact the more powerful a version of the power she replicates.
She doesn't necessarily know what power someone has or how to use it meaning she can end up with a power completely useless to her. She doesn't have a very long time to learn how to use it either.
She can only have up to four powers, each of a different class. These are replaced by class so she only ever has a power of one class. She cannot always choose whether she replicates someone's powers or not. Along with this she can only use one at the time, and this changes after she has slept for eight hours AND used the current power she is locked into. However if she replicates a new power she switches to using the one rather the previous one.
She is also limited by the power. Regeneration wise there are only so many wounds that she can heal, and often she can only fully regenerate the smaller ones. For telekinesis she is limited to ten feet away from her, and objects of a medium weight. She needs to concentrate to do more than one small object and breaks in her concentration cause her to lose control.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
The fact that she has to have skin to skin contact can be a weakness. This leaves her vulnerable as she weakens her targets power and means she has to get close to them in the first place which is not always a viable option. This can leave her in all sorts bad situations.
She can only change power after using the one she currently has. This means if she does not know how to use a power she is stuck with it until she can figure it out.
Using powers of others is quite taxing on her body. While the powers themselves need no fuel they use up a lot of the essential nutrients she has within her body. Using the powers will cause Max to begin to both dehydrate and starve, meaning she must eat and drink a lot more than normal while using them. If she does not eat or drink she will grow weaker, her reactions slower. This will eventually push her to death by starvation/dehydration if she keeps using her power.
Along with this Max gains the weakness of whatever power she steals.
Regeneration Weaknesses: Incredibly painful to do, does not regain any lost blood ect. She cannot regenerate massive wounds meaning that any life threatening wounds would kill her. While the wound is healed her body still suffered the damage, leaving her weaker after regenerating.
Telekinesis weaknesses: Must concentrate to be able to keep using the power. If she cannot see the object she is moving she cannot move it thus it is easy to break the line of site. Tiring mentally on her and doing it for too long will cause blinding headaches and migraines, and often put her in a bad mood and make her tired.

Salvador Diaz | Mixed | Brother | "Sal is a pretty cool older brother, but we have our fights. Also he keeps getting Rori involved with everything..."|
Other
Personality wise Max is pretty violent and gets angry pretty easily. This doesn't mean that she's necessarily unfriendly. She's incredibly flirtatious. She doesn't put up with shit and isn't going to be sympathetic about people's problems, or get emotional and cry or something like that.
Max picks fights and gets in trouble far too often. She doesn't really care about the rules - they're just there to be broken after all.
Basic Information
Name:
Salvador Felipe Diaz 'Sal'
Age:
23
Gender:
Male
Appearance:
Standing at 6 feet Salvador is oddly quite a bit taller than his younger sister, Max. While part of this could be put down to the fact he is male it is quite a bit of height different. Sal is certainly not skinny for his height, but instead filled out with clearly defined muscles. While certainly not a fitness nut he make sure to keep himself in good shape and has worked on his strength to help with fighting. His height manages to spread out the muscles meaning that he doesn't look overly muscular and strong. His body is quite attractive to those that get a chance to look at it.
Sal's hair is a dark brown, coming close to black. It's darker than his sister's but not by much. It is quite short, not short enough that it has been completely shaved off but not long enough to be any kind of bother. His eyes are narrow and ever so slightly turned, practically black in colour. His skin is a relatively dark tone of olive tan. This is darker than his sister's. His face is sharp and angular but not all that bad looking due to it. It is slightly square in shape, all sharp angles and lines.
Clothing wise Sal will often wear what is practical. In terms of practicality he will be found wearing a simple t-shirt along with cargo pants and some kind of leather jacket. If he is going more for looks he'll be found wearing jeans and the same leather jacket. In a way his clothing style is quite similar to that of his twin. One occasions where it is require he will wear something smarter but quite often he sticks to what is practical for what he does.
Skills/Talents:
Fighting: Salvador is trained in hand to hand combat. Most of this he learned from being in gangs and as a result knows how to fight dirty, and with knives. Shooting:Sal's main skill in shooting is with pistols or similar at a more close range. He learned this from the gangs and is quite accurate. He also knows how to care for guns, and can use more long ranged ones such as a rifle but just isn't quite as good at that. Cooking: Sal is a surprisingly talented cook. He can make a tasty meal out of pretty terrible ingredients and knows quite a few recipes off the top of his head. While he is no classy chef he can cook tasty enough meals in comparison to your average person. Leadership: With a commanding air and the ability to keep cool under pressure, Sal is quite a skilled leader. He knows how to bring the best out of people and command them in a tough situation. He can keep them under control without getting incredibly angry at those who are insolent. However, with this leadership skill comes a certain amount of cockiness. Strategy: Sal is quite good at coming up with strategies, whether that is for combat or for breaking into somewhere well protected. He can plan well and will come up with various backup plans quickly. This can help in tough situations.
Brief Backstory:
Born to a metahuman and a normal human, Sal grew up in a surprisingly cheerful household. From a young age it was obvious that he had inherited his powers from his father as small cuts healed faster than they should and never seemed to bother him.
At four Sal got a younger sister, Max. He was overprotective at first and this grew into a friendly sibling rivalry. They spent most of their time play fighting (of course he always won). Though they were in contact with their cousins on their mum's side Salvador was never close to any. As a metahuman he felt he should avoid being around a family that was anti-metahuman.
Sal was fourteen when he accidentally caused his family to have to up and move. It was an accident, of course. He had been playing with his cousins, one of the few times he did so, and a slight slip from a tree caused a broken leg. Unfortunately for him he had no control over his regeneration and was able to walk long before most humans would. With his cousin's being more than somewhat anti-meta the family made the decision to move to Blackfall just in case.
Their time in Blackfall wasn't much different for Sal, until when he was sixteen and got involved in a car accident. His regeneration save him and his sister luckily survived. It didn't take him too long to have suspicions about the reason for his sister's survival though he kept it to himself longer than he should of. The two were sent off to live with their uncle, who had never wanted kids and let them look after themselves.
Sal was the first of the two to get involved in crime. He let Max tag along as she proved herself useful enough and he couldn't get her to stay at home even if he tried. He joined a minor gang and it was here the Max discovered for herself what her power was. Sal easily fit into the gang and quickly moved up the ranks with ease. His natural leadership skills helped him here. He managed to stay out of NESTs radar by mostly running things behind the scenes are rarely going into do the proper dirty work after he reached a certain rank.
At nineteen, now having left his uncle and living with just his sister, Sal reluctantly allowed their cousin Rori to live with them. It wasn't a surprise for him that they were a metahuman (they had always seemed odd). He tried to get them to join in gang activities, after all their powers would be useful. However Max resisted this and tried to stop Sal from allowing it. Sal won in the end, though, as he always did.
Recently, however, a close call with NEST agents have made both Salvador and Max known to NEST as possible criminal metahumans. Deciding not to risk getting caught the two of them, and Rori, have made the move to New Riviére city. Sal managed to get them a small apartment in the outer ring. Since moving they've got by with running small jobs but Sal is trying to find something more, whether legal or illegal.
Power Information
Power Class: Super-System (Biological)
Power:
Sal's power is that of regeneration.
External Wounds and Blood loss:
Sal can heal serious external wounds at a speed that is faster than the normal person. He can heal deep cuts (that haven't reached any organs), serious burns and broken / fractured bones. The time it takes varies by severity. Minor wounds take a matter of minutes to heal, whereas a wound that would perhaps be fatal could take days. Due to his regeneration, however, there are wounds he can survive that many others could not. He also regenerates blood cells meaning that blood loss is less of a worry for him. For example most people would need a blood transfusion if they lost roughly 30% or more of the total blood volume in their body. For Salvador this percentage would be closer to 40% or so. Any torn muscle, ect, can also be regenerated.
Lost Limbs:
Salvador can, to a certain extent, regenerate lost limbs. The limb is grown to be almost exactly the same as the old one. In terms of re-growing limbs this goes for arms and legs (and any parts upon them). This does NOT include his head. Time wise this, again, depends on what needs to be re-grown. A finger or toe would take half a day to a day. His entire arm would take at least one week, probably more. His entire leg would take even longer.
Internal Wounds / Damage to Organs
Sal cannot regenerate / repair internal wounds and damage to organs as well as external wounds. If the damage is non-fatal then he would be able to regenerate it but at a slower rate than he would an external wound. If the damage is minor than it can easily be regenerate. However if, say, he was stabbed through the heart he would not be able to regenerate it. In terms of his brain he can survive / regenerate more serious damage than most, but it is the part of his body that he has most difficulty regenerating.
Diseases, Toxins, Drugs
Sal is less susceptible to illness that most others. This is due to his regeneration resulting in a strong immune system and just regenerating while ill means he rarely catches diseases. He would never come down with, say, a cold or the flu. Something more serious is possible. He is also less harmed by poison and tends to be unaffected by less strong toxins (though there are still some that he cannot recover from). The same goes for drugs.
Limits:
Salvador is limited in terms of the speed he can regenerate at. The more serious the wound the longer it takes, from a few seconds to heal a cut to hours / days for broken bones to weeks / months to regenerate a lost limb.
Along with this he is limited in how much he can regenerate. He can heal multiple small wounds at the same time but can only heal one serious one at a time (serious being anything that could be dangerous in the long run). If he loses more than one limb he can only regenerate one at a time.
There are things he cannot regenerate. If a serious enough wound damages his internal organs and would be fatal he will likely die from it, as he won't heal the internal rupturing fast enough. He can't heal that much brain damage. If his brain is damaged enough he may be able to heal it to the point of still being alive, but the damage would be irreversible and he wouldn't be the same person. His head is in general the weak spot and if it was, say, cut off he wouldn't survive it.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
Salvador still feels all the pain of the wounds, and this has the effect a wound would on any. He may be able to regenerate but his pain threshold / tolerance is no higher than any other person.
When in the process of regenerating, especially if it is something serious, Sal is physically weakened. He will be able to function but is likely to struggle with even walking until he has finished the regeneration process. This puts him in a weak position. Of course this varies by wound. A cut will not cause this, but a broken bone may (even in the arm). This can be quite easily taken advantage of.
Sal is not invulnerable. He will die to serious head injuries or if he loses his head. He will die to major organ damage. He will also die to multiple fatal wounds, as he can only heal so many at once and one of them will kill him. If he would be instantly killed by something the chances are he will die (he does need some time to regenerate). So there are quite a few ways to kill him, just less than there are to kill the ordinary person.

Basic Information
Name:
Arianne Eve Dubois
Age:
24
Gender:
Female
Appearance:
Arianne stands at 5'6" and doesn't have the appearance of a trained individual. Her strength certainly isn't as great as some others within NEST, but that has never been her strength. Still she is fit enough after training and continuing to keep up this training. After all she does need to be able to face meta-humans.
Arianne has dark blonde hair, practically a dirty / sandy blond. While she keeps it relatively long, allowing it to fall past her shoulders, it is almost always tied up in a bun or a braid. Something to keep it out of the way. Her eyes are a light, pale blue. There is nothing spectacular about it. Her eyelashes and eyebrows are light to the point of not always being visible (she occasionally will remedy this with makeup, but often it isn't practical to do so). Her skin is pale, of the slightly reddish kind, with very few freckles. However she does have visible scars here and there. Very few are notable and merely things she has gotten in the line of duty. Her face is slender and somewhat long, like most of her is. It is softly curved with very few sharp angles.
Clothing wise she will be found most commonly in jeans and nice enough tops, tending to wear a mixture of blues, whites and purples. She does like wearing nice looking clothes, but of course has to make sacrifices when on the job.
Skills/Talents:
Technology Intelligence Woodwork Writing
Brief Backstory:
Arianne was born to a middle class, living what was mostly a normal life as a child. She had one younger sister who she was close to and slightly protective of. None of her parents were meta-humans and as a result it was never something she gave any thought to.
Even as a child, however, Arianne was emotionally detached from the world. She didn't have very many friends at school and this wasn't helped by the fact that she was quite a bit smarter than others that were her age. She found it difficult to communicate with others and the only person she really got on with was her younger sister. She only got smarter as she grew up, gaining a certain affinity for things technological.
Arianne was nearing the end of school with an offer from one of the top colleges, when things changed for the worse. She had felt like she was being watched for a while but it wasn't till the night before her 18th birthday that she found out who it was. Some kind of metahuman, with a cerebral power type, had taken a fancy to her and the rest of her family. The metahuman broke in to their house and took all four members of the house hostage.
She prefers not to talk about what happened the weeks before someone worked out something was up with the Dubois family and called the authorities. With the discovery it was a metahuman it was NEST who was called and they managed to capture the man. The entire was left scarred. What only made the situation worse for Arianne was the clear effect it had had on her younger sister. As she lay in hospital, recovering from injuries inflicted upon her, she willed her sister not to remember.
The next morning her sister showed signs of memory loss. She claimed the events were 'hazy' and that she wasn't sure what had happened. Arianne tried this on her parents and they too forgot most of what had happened. Of course with NEST agents looking in to the incident they noticed the sudden memory loss of all the Dubois family excluding Arianne. As they went to register her as a meta-human she was given a choice between continuing her life as normal and joining NEST. She chose the latter.
Though the physical training was difficult for her (she hadn't had any military or police training, after all) Arianne easily passed all intelligence based tests. It took her longer than it should have to get through training but eventually she did.
After moving around a bit Arianne was settled in a position in New Rivière city. She has been there a few months and mostly does more intelligence and technological based work for NEST.
Power Information
Power Class: Cerebral
Power:
Arianne's power is memory manipulation.
Memory Reading:
With her memory manipulation comes the ability to also read other people's memories. Recent memories are easier to read. The further back they are the more difficult they are to read, often impossible. Along with this anyone with some kind of mental block / mind shield can prevent her reading their memories.
Memory Erasure:
The first part of her power that Arianne discovered and mastered is memory erasure. This erases a specific memory that a person holds. While she learned this first it is, in fact, the most difficult to do. To do this she must know some kind of details memory. So she cannot just delete any random memory. When a memory is deleted by Arianne it is as if the target is suffering from amnesia. They do not remember what happened as their memory appears to be 'hazy' or 'foggy.' People with especially strong minds can get over this.
Memory Creation:
This part of memory manipulation allows Arianne to create a memory and implant this into someone's mind. The more complex the memory the more difficult it is to put into the persons mind. In general Arianne does not use this ability as often as the rest as there aren't many occasions were she would want to create a new memory.
Memory Changing
The main part of memory manipulation. This allows Arianne to make changes to a memory that a person has. The more subtle the changes the easier it is. If she makes major changes it is more likely that someone is going to realise that their memory has been changed and remember the original memory. In terms of time it is rare that Arianne can change a memory that someone has from over a year ago.
Limits:
Arianne is limited by whether she knows a memory or not. While she can read memories she must maintain an incredible concentration to do this, and then keep this concentration to change it at all.
She is also limited in that she must either know the person very well (as in the case with her family) or be able to see them to read/change their memories.
It is rare she can change or access older memories or those that are over a year old. The more fresh the memory the easier it is to access it.
Sometimes people realise that something is wrong and that their memories have been changed. This is most often meta-humans in the Cerebral class or intelligent people.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
Arianne suffers an equal, but temporary, memory loss to any memory manipulation that she has done. If she slightly changes someone's memory she will forgot small details from recent memories. This scales as the memory changes she makes do. She tries to keep this drawback secret. Along with this she just, in general, has a worse long term memory. She finds it incredibly difficult to remember any of her life from years ago (any memories are fuzzy and constantly changing).
After a certain amount of memory manipulation Arianne get's intense migraines. These often become ocular migraines which means she loses her eyesight and is pretty much helpless.
She needs to concentrate very hard to change memories meaning that she must ignore everything else around her (and as a result will not notice anything that might happen to her). This is especially the case when reading memories.
If someone has a particularly bad memory it is most likely to stick with her, particularly in dreams. This leads to temporary insomnia.

A member of NEST, though certainly not one of the top or best. Relatively new and out of training
Technologically gifted, having learnt things like hacking to help with her work in NEST. Also very very smart
Aloof, bad at communication and socially unaware. Also still emotionally detached. Somewhat mentally affected by being held hostage but it seems to have less of a lasting effect on her than it should have.
Heather stands at 5 feet 9 inches. She has an athletic build due to gym visits and regular yoga classes, as well as her constant walking at her waitress job. She weighs roughly 128 lbs (though she'll bring it down if she's telling anyone). She has long, blonde hair that falls to her shoulders. Her eyes are a mix of green and gray, with more hints of green in them. She has white skin. She has a beauty mark on the right side of her chin. Her physique is curvy. She is a C-cup. On an average day, Heather would be seen wearing as close to trendy clothing as she can afford on her budget. She especially loves camisoles, light jackets, jeans, and boots. Her favorite colors are dark red and yellow and will incorporate those colors in her wardrobe. She wears clothing that would be considered "girly", but, on her off days, she isn't afraid of going outside in a T-shirt and sweatpants. She also has her favorite gold earrings her mom gave her on her 16th birthday. She only wears them on special occasions.
Skills/Talents:
Charismatic: Heather is good at talking to people. This is evident especially at her job when she is trying to get a really good tip or flirt with a cute guy she likes. She is a friendly sort and enjoys talking to people in general. Athletic:Whether it's doing yoga or playing ball with the boys, Heather likes to get out there and do it. She goes jogging and goes to the gym, but her favorite thing to do is yoga. She hasn't mastered the poses yet, but she's close! Mixologist:Not a skill that could save a life, but Heather has a flair for working with alcohol and likes making different drinks.
Brief Backstory:
It all started that night on the beach.
At first, she thought it was an accident. A trick of the mind. She was experiencing with some really strong alcohol at the time. Her friends were drunk also, laughing incoherently at some joke that was said hours ago. She giggled too. Yeah, she was out of it. She must have just thought she saw the loose piece of driftwood on the beach move by itself. She looked at it again. And it moved. She stopped giggling and dropped the cup in her hand. The others continued their shenanigans while Heather moved towards the piece of wood. This time, she focused, as best she could, on that piece of wood. With as much will as she could muster, she saw the piece of wood move in front of her and levitate in the air. After a brief few seconds, she panicked and screamed and the piece of driftwood was sent flying.
It was a mixed bag of emotions after that night at the beach. Maybe if she didn't draw attention to herself by screaming she could have played it off and continued life as normal. However, being partially drunk meant that she wasn't very good at hiding facts and so when her friends asked her what was wrong, she told them. They, of course, didn't believe her. And, stupidly drunk, Heather thought it was necessary to prove them wrong and demonstrated. She was proud of it, in fact. Her friends, not so much.
She never thought she would be classified as a Meta-Human. She heard the word tossed around along with a few other words in a negative context. But after that show on the beach her life turned from normal to abnormal. Her parents grew concerned, and rightly so. Heather's mother had a brother who also had a superhuman ability. They heard horror stories of Meta-Human camps, prisons, tests and so forth. Heather begged them not to tell, but it was only a matter of time before NEST heard of it and she was taken to be tested. Although they assured her she was not in any danger, Heather could feel that if she was deemed "dangerous" in any sense, she would be taken care of. They asked her to demonstrate what she can do. Focusing all she could to make sure she wouldn't fly off the handle, she demonstrated her telekinetic abilities to the NEST testers. After what seemed like hours, she was deemed "suitable" and was able to return to her life.
Now, Heather is a 21 working girl in the city. She is a waitress/bartender as a popular, tourist restaurant and makes a decent living. She lives with her best friend Diana and has a relatively good life. Though she says she doesn't want to use her powers, she has been known to move the TV remote closer to her or give a particularly mean customer an uncomfortable wedgie. She is determined to live as close to a normal life as possible, even with her superhuman abilities.
However, Meta-Humans aren't quite capable of having a normal life.
Power Information
Power Class:Cerebral
Power: Telekinesis:
Heather has the ability to move objects/matter with her mind. This can range from a book on the table to the man walking across the street. She is able to do various things with it, such as levitate the object around, keep the object from moving (binding it in place), and pull/push the object. Giving more power to it, Heather could blast the object with a greater force.
Telekinetic Bullets:
Heather can form telekinetic bullets or use small objects as bullets. She can "shoot" these bullets with force behind them. The bullets themselves are light blue in color and are about the size of a handgun's bullets. The bullets themselves can be as powerful as she wants them to be, given the amount of force behind them.
Telekinetic Barrier:
Heather is able to crate a telekinetic force barrier to protect her from oncoming objects and damage. The barrier cannot be seen to the naked eye.
Limits:
Part of the reason Heather tries to keep in shape is to keep her energy levels up and, thus, her mind at tip-top shape. Although Heather is able to lift small objects with little to no effort, the greater the object she wants to lift, the greater the amount of effort it will take to achieve it. Same with pushing/pulling, blasting, and binding the object. Heather's telekinetic bullets can be forced with ease, but she is only able to create five bullets at a time, or use only 2 small objects as bullets. The more objects or bullets she uses, the greater the effort it will take on her part. The bullets cannot go through solid foundations, like buildings, but they can go through people with enough force. The more force, the more strain. The barrier is able to protect Heather, but only in the direction she is looking at. She would be unable to block an attack from behind. If the force is especially strong, the barrier could break. Holding the barrier for long periods of time can be draining on Heather as well.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
Because Heather is opening her mind while using her powers, she is especially susceptible to psychic attacks against her. If a person is able to control themselves at a fundamental level, she is not able to lift them. Heather must also concentrate in order to be able to use her powers. If she were to be distracted while performing her powers, she would lose whatever hold she had. Heather must also keep her emotions in check. Being angry can cause her to lose control of her powers and damage her and her surroundings. Happy emotions make control easier, but not any less strenuous.

At 5’6 Seraphine isn’t particularly tall, but frequently wears heels that add another four inches to her height, an illusion that is only heightened by her willowy build. It could be said that she plays at being high society, but the truth is that she does a great deal more than play at it. She wears makeup, not a great deal, just enough to highlight and enhance her own natural beauty.
Seraphine employs an expensive personal trainer, and they make sure that she maintains her slim, attractive figure. She’s not overly busty, but has certainly been gifted with aesthetically appealing curves, maintained and tightened by the ruthless attentions of her personal trainer. This consistent regimen ensures that she is strong and fit, but not as muscular as someone with a particular interest in fitness would be.
Seraphine is wealthy, and she isn’t afraid to flaunt it, always wearing expensive designer clothes and even more expensive jewellery. A flair for the dramatic means that given the opportunity she will wear expensive gowns and dresses, frequently clothed in evening dress even for fairly mundane tasks. It is an opulent show of wealth when some of her outfits cost in excess of a month’s salary.
Skills/Talents:
Is fluent in nine additional languages including French, ASL, Russian and Japanese. Taekwondo – Black belt Photography Law Proficient Pistol Marksmanship Observant
Brief Backstory:
Seraphine was not raised as a high society lady, or even as Seraphine. Sophie Jones was about as common as they come, her father was wealthy, but as a man who had worked his way up from the bottom, he wasn’t exactly welcome among the old guard of the wealthy. You could think that such prejudices were long since forgotten, but in the upper echelons of society there are still those who hold onto old and outdated sensibilities.
Her father was proud of his heritage, and refused to blend in with the circles he now moved among, still wearing old battered jeans and helping the hands on the ancestral family ranch. Sophie hated it, hated being looked down on and bullied by her fellow students at her private school, at home she had to carry out chores on the ranch, which would have been fine if it didn’t include mucking out the horses and throwing hay, giving her a more masculine physique than most teenage girls are comfortable with, particularly amongst peers who are spoiled rotten by their families from birth, not raised in a working household. She always wanted to escape that life, to be something more.
When her powers manifested things only became more complicated, they changed for the worse. Though it came with advantages, people were frightened of metahumans, and Sophie became even more ostracised than she already was, even her father, who had always been an honest, hard-working man, was ashamed of his daughter’s freakish nature. His daughter, his hard-working, honest daughter, was registered with nest, chipped, tagged, and suddenly an embarrassment.
Sophie ran away, she stole twenty thousand dollars from her father and left town, left the county, the state. She changed her name, acquired a whole new identity, and set about transforming her life. Anyone else might have struggled, even most metahumans would have struggled in that position, but Seraphine’s ability gave her the unique ability to be in two places, or more, at once.
A year spent working long hours every day helped her lose the puppy fat, and a lack of proper nutrition ensured that her once chunky physique slimmed down a little more rapidly than was really healthy. It didn’t take long though, before she realised the power her new appearance gave her. At her age, she looked old enough to be within the consenting age, but was ruthless enough tot ake advantage of the fact that she wasn’t, and extorted money from the men foolish enough to fall for her feminine wiles. Of course, it eventually meant she had to move on, and before long she found herself in Louisiana. Attractive, and clearly already in the habit of using her sex and beauty to take advantage of men, she was picked up by a pimp, and put to work in the city’s thriving sex industry.
Her abilities made her much more valuable than the man was capable of dealing with however, and she was soon ‘taken off his hands’ by one of the city’s crime bosses. She was lucrative, and swiftly became a high class, in demand escort. She was ambitious though, she was happy to use men to get ahead, but she wanted to be the one who called the shots, who ran the business, so she began moving her way to the top. Seduction; bribery, blackmail, they were all tools of the trade, and she learned to use them swiftly and with ruthless efficiency. She rarely resorted to violence, never had the taste for it, but had the money and ambition to buy the services of people who would.
She made enough to buy her way out, bought her independence from the families, and made enough friends that they wouldn’t try and take her back by force. Especially not when one of them was a potent meta, a man of unknown origins who now acts as her bodyguard.
Power Information
Power Class:

Power:
Seraphine has the potent gift of self-duplication, the ability to generate complete clones of herself. These clones share a limited empathic link, but are otherwise capable of acting and thinking independently, though the fact that they are the same person allows them to act with an uncanny unity of purpose at times. These clones are identical in virtually every way, impossible to tell apart for any but an extremely potent telepath.
This power is the secret to Seraphine’s success each clone, though tethered to the Prime, is capable of living an independent life, of learning and acquiring skills. Though there is no telepathic link between the Prime and the clone, upon reabsorption Seraphine Prime can absorb all of their memories, knowledge and skills. The clones otherwise can function independently.
Limits:
Though Seraphine can produce a number of clones, she is limited to a maximum of twelve, and she maintains three in various countries around the world, limiting her to being able to produce nine clones in her immediate vicinity.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
Reabsorbing a clone can have some adverse effects for some time after the fact. These can include personality defects, wild mood swings and occasional periods of exhaustion. These effects are magnified the longer the clone has been independent, a few days has little to no effect, while a few weeks or even months can have a much more difficult effect. After reabsorbing the clone that had become qualified as a lawyer Seraphine had to excuse herself from business for more than a month, the strain of absorbing a five year old personality made her almost irrational at times.
Though the clones can operate independently while Seraphine sleeps, forced unconsciousness for the Prime, through drugs or trauma, will force unconsciousness across the entire network, and trauma applied to them can be felt by the Prime, though she cannot use it to locate her clone, merely to experience (unwillingly) the pain the duplicate is experiencing. This empathy even extends to death, the clones can die, and they will experience death in exactly the same way as any other, and the reverberation of that experience can cause incredible psychological pain for Seraphine Prime.
The final limitation is simple, Seraphine is the Prime, the centre of the network, if she dies, so does every other Seraphine, like puppets with their strings cut.
Seraphine is an information broker, it keeps her alive, and keeps her in a position of influence. Know the right things and you can make people dance to your tune. She’ll buy and sell information, but you have to have something worth trading for. If you want to know something in New Rivière City, then Seraphine is your girl.
Seraphine is independently wealthy now, and runs the biggest and most exclusive underground bordello in New Rivière City, with clients that include the proprietors of a number of the city’s casinos, a deputy Police Commissioner, a high ranking member of NEST, and three Judges, of course, they are clients with guaranteed confidentiality, but it allows the illegal operation some degree of respectability and security.
Despite her past as a high class escort Seraphine is a virgin, her ability to be a walking orgy all on her own has meant that she’s never actually been in that position, producing clones and then reabsorbing them after the fact. It seems strange, but Seraphine is saving herself for marriage, not that she’s shown any interest in anyone thus far.

Basic Information
Name:
Eli Scott
Age:
21
Gender:
Male
Appearance:
Slight, and unintimidating, Eli is the last person you’d expect to be involved in organised crime. His long hair often comes close to falling into his eyes, eyes which are rarely engaged, and usually hold a preoccupied, vaguely distracted look, even in the event of serious danger. His face is smooth and unscarred; with boyish good looks that fool even the dedicated observer into thinking he is younger than he actually is.
He clearly doesn’t care much about what he wears, though most of it is expensive, albeit worn carelessly, clearly he doesn’t buy his own clothes, and has them bought for him. Silk shirts are often thrown on with Roberto Cavalli jeans, the shirt creased and un-ironed, the jeans dirty and clearly stored in that classic location, the floordrobe. He’s also not exactly subtle about the gun that is apparently welded to his ribs or hip.
Skills/Talents:
Creative thinking, he’s never been a fighter, and truthfully doesn’t have the build or muscle mass to really pose much of a threat in close quarters, what he does have however, is a viciously inventive mind and an eye for any weaknesses or slip ups that can be exploited. Reading people, he has an uncanny knack for reading people’s feelings and reactions, and frequently exploits this. Psychological warfare, following on from his ability to read people is his ability to play with their feelings and perspectives. He can cause even the most secure and self-confident fighter doubt themselves and their abilities.
Brief Backstory:
Eli grew up in the city, and not in a nice part of it at that, his parents didn’t own a car, because any vehicle in the neighbourhood would be stripped down to the chassis in a matter of minutes if left unattended. Kids played on the streets yes, but always with cautious parents watching from windows, or the front door on the pretext of smoking outside the house. It was simple perhaps, but the people in those neighbourhoods bonded through a mutual desire to survive and prosper.
They had little, but it wasn’t an unpleasant life, there was always food on the table, and Eli had enough friends in the neighbourhood. Then, when Eli turned eleven, his father lost his job, the local factory he had worked out closing its doors without warning, leaving the family with no income. His mother started working as a cleaner, finding work in the wealthier neighbourhoods where people were always willing to pay for someone to scrub the toilets and vacuum the floors. Jonathon Scott had more difficulty in finding a job though, and the fact that they had always lived on credit, on the edge of bankruptcy, began to catch up.
Proper meals, at least for his parents, became fewer and farther between, while new clothes were more often bought in thrift stores than brand new, and luxuries like smart phones were entirely out of the picture. Of course he was bullied at school for his misfortune, but Eli, though he never really understood the realities of what was going on, just did his best to help his parents. Years of careful scrimping and saving got them back on a relatively even keel, and Jonathon Scott even managed to get a job, albeit a poorly paying one as a night guard. Things were finally starting to look up, until Rebecca was diagnosed with lung cancer.
Without health insurance there was little they could do, and even less they could afford, Eli’s father began working non-stop, pulling in eighty and ninety hour weeks on his paltry wages. Having just turned eighteen, and watching his mother wasting away and his father desperate to save her, Eli tried working, and realised that there was no way that he would be able to help monetarily, he tried another way. He’d always stayed out of the gangs in the neighbourhood, but when some of these boys were flashing their brand new iPhones and driving around in souped up cars he realised that maybe it was the best way to start helping.
Of course they wouldn’t simply take in an outsider, and his first attempt found him with a black eye and two broken fingers, although it ended much worse for the gang members who thought he would be an easy target. This moment of stress, of desperation, was the moment that his ability manifested, and it allowed him to make short work of the young men who thought he would be an easy target.
Perhaps as a result of his power he experienced a strange rush, a rush he’d never experienced before, it was heady, addictive, and he found himself craving it once more. In any other city NEST would have been called in, but Seraphine Campbell, by pure happenstance, had an informant placed in the gang. She stamped down on the rumours before they could spread, and offered the young man more money than he could dream of if he agreed to work for her. The original deal was simply until his mother’s cancer went into remission, but two years on, when it did, when she was announced as healthy as she could be, he continued to work for the glamourous information broker. Acting as an enforcer and sometime bodyguard brought with it a rush that he couldn’t find anywhere else, and he was hooked on the lifestyle. He still speaks to his parents occasionally, but they know little of what he does, even if they have their suspicions. And he intends to keep it that way.
Power Information
Power Class:
Super-System
Power:
Eli has an ability that makes him hard to predict, one that fluctuates in power levels, and, as such, most people are unaware of the truth of his ability, of course he uses this ignorance to his, often significant, advantage. His abilities are controlled and manipulated by his moods, more particularly, by his levels of cortisol and adrenaline. These are chemicals in the body who’s presence increases dramatically in times of stress, and particularly in Eli’s case, in times of aggression and conflict.
Eli’s physical capabilities increase when he fights. This isn’t an instant transition, he does not suddenly possess incredible physical abilities when a fight starts, rather, it ramps up slowly, over time. Unlike most therefore, he benefits from a fight lasting a long time, turning from a relatively unintimidating, slight figure with apparently little in the way of physical talent, to a physical juggernaut capable of dashing across a room in a blur and bowling over men twice his size without breaking a sweat.
This ability, once it gets rolling, will enhance all of his physical capabilities, including his reaction speed, strength, and even his resilience. These do not all increase at the same rate however, so he may be able to throw a car, but not dodge a bullet, though he can certainly get anything vital out of the way of anything but close range shots. His resilience will also increase exponentially, more in line with his strength, apparently partly out of self-preservation to prevent him from breaking his own bones, but with the added bonus that he can take significantly more damage than any normal human when sufficiently ‘roided up’. Now this process accelerates as it develops, and his strength effectively doubles for every minute and a half that passes while in this state.
Limits:
Eli is as vulnerable as any normal human at the beginning of a fight. He’s not strong, and though he is fast by necessity, he isn’t going to be dodging any bullets. The easiest way to take him out of a fight is simply to target him first, removing him from the equation and thus neutralising him as a threat. Even if he was ignored for the first few minutes however he would still be limited in his effectiveness. It takes a minute and a half for him to double in strength, which isn’t saying much as at only 130lbs he isn’t exactly a world class athlete. Although his resilience keeps up with his strength, it won’t make him bullet proof at any great speed, after a protracted combat of six or seven minutes he could likely shrug off small arms fire, but heavy calibre bullets would still do significant damage unless the fight had been drawn out to nearly twenty minutes.
There is also no healing aspect to this power, he becomes more resistant to damage, but damage done before this is still there, a bullet hole in his leg will still be there. It may be a little easier to ignore, but the damage is still done.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
Though protracted fights are Eli’s greatest strength, therein also lies his greatest weakness, maintaining his ability at such a level for such a period of time is exhausting, and he will be left incredibly fatigued, even unconscious after a long fight, victorious or not. In addition, he is far more likely to suffer ashing than most metas. He cannot turn off his ability, once it has kicked in it’s there until he wins, or Eli is defeated or dead. This ability also has addictive qualities, it heightens the effects of an adrenaline rush to become something that has led to a dependency. In addition, the presence of huge amounts of cortisol in his system can induce high levels of stress once his ability has wound down, including symptoms such as headaches, chest pain and a rapid heart rate, a poor immune response, and insomnia.

Basic Information
Name:
Alice Barrett, Shortcut
Age:
25
Gender:
Female
Appearance:
Alice is slim and petite, standing a bare five foot two in height, and with little to her form in terms of weight. Her chest, always a source of embarrassment, is as flat as they come, and she frequently wears expensive push up bras in an attempt to make them look far more substantial than they actually are. The theme is continued elsewhere, and with her diminutive figure could easily be mistaken for that of a boy at a distance.
She wore her red hair long in some attempt to preserve what little feminine appearance she had, but thanks to a rather heated encounter with an atomic metahuman she was forced to have what the stylist referred to as emergency hair surgery. As a result it is now cropped extremely short, and only highlights her boyish figure, much to her mortification.
Though she tries to wear more feminine attire, her career as a NEST agent means that practical, hard wearing clothes are far more appropriate than dresses and skirts. In her off time however, she favours summer dresses and relaxed skirts, being extremely self-conscious about her boyish figure. Her skin is, or was, unblemished, apart from a large, vicious looking scar, though faded, down and across her neck, and extensive tattoos, with two full sleeves that spiral and entwine across her chest and back.
Skills/Talents:
Make-up, seriously, Alice could be a make-up artist professionally, and has a knack for applying cosmetics with a touch that makes it near invisible, while also being capable of giving someone a complete makeover at the same time. Capoeirsta, Alice is a practiced and experienced user of Capoeira, primarily for its uses in combat, though she also enjoys it’s more recreational aspects. Drinking, so she’s five foot two and weighs a hundred pounds, she’ll still drink you under the table without breaking a sweat. Cop Instincts, Alice comes from a family of police officers, has been brought up with, raised with stories about the people they dealt with on their beats, about raids, about crime and punishment. She has the kind of instincts you would find on a veteran beat cop, able to tell when someone is lying, or needs her to step in and help.
Brief Backstory:
Mom was a cop, dad was a cop, it seemed that it was just a matter of time before Alice followed in the family footsteps. At least after her brief period of rebellion when she turned eighteen, a period of rebellion that cost her several thousand dollars and left her with an exquisite set of tattoo, back, and chest tattoos. She regrets the decision, but is still oddly proud of the art upon her skin.
Only a year later Alice was enrolled in the NYPD Academy, and true to her roots, to her heritage, she proved to be a natural, being raised a cop probably had something to do with it. She graduated with honours, and was assigned a position as a beat cop at the tender age of twenty-one, and appeared in the accident and emergency room rather soon afterwards. Quite literally. Six months after beginning her new job, she popped out of thin air into the middle of the accident and emergency room of Mount Sinai. One moment there was no one there, the next a uniformed patrol officer had collapsed, blood pumping from a vicious cut in her neck.
She was fortunate, had she been anywhere else, out on the street, any further than a minute from a hospital, then she would have died. As it was she was left with an eye catching, raw looking scar, and permanent damage to her vocal cords. NEST visited her in hospital to register her as a metahuman, and to discuss her options now that she had developed abilities. It wasn’t long before she officially left the NYPD, transferred indefinitely to NEST, both for training in the use of her newfound gifts, and to put them to good use in policing those that normal police forces had to leave alone.
Though certain of her police instincts had to find a new home once she had formally joined NEST, she showed a talent for her duties, and was often able to talk down newly developed, or unstable metas from dangerous situations, as well as judging when those situations were about to go south rapidly. She was doing well, until her relationship with her last partner took a direction she wasn’t expecting, wasn’t prepared for, and was somewhat in denial of. She immediately requested a transfer to a different city, it was expedited, and she arrived in New Rivière City only a few months ago.
Power Information
Power Class:
Other
Power:
Alice has the ability to quite literally break the laws of physics, to bend the very fabric of space itself. Put simply, Alice can traverse great distances in the blink of an eye, or, in laymans terms, teleport. Effectively, Alice moves from one place to another without bothering to cross the space in between. This ability can displace liquids and gasses upon travel, though not solids. This ability has a potentially long range, and Alice can jump up to two miles at a time. Multiple short range jumps can be accomplished extremely rapidly and with pin point precision in line of sight.
Limits:
Alice can carry people with her, but only a maximum of two, any more than that and any attempt to jump would likely fail and end in a crippling migraine for Alice. Jumping with new passengers can also lead to a strong sense of nausea for the passengers, even vomit if they are particularly unaccustomed to it. They can grow used to this sensation after enough time and experience of it. Also, although Alice can jump by herself with ease, adding even one passenger can rapidly tire her out. Also, although she can displace gas and liquid when teleporting, solids are not nearly as accommodating, and if Alice does not already know an area well she could end up reappearing halfway into a wall, and the wall would win. Her current maximum range is two miles, but that would push her to her limits, exhausting her and potentially even making her throw up.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
Jumping takes a lot out of Alice, she is quite literally generating the energy required to leap across space in an instant, and she therefore burns energy and calories at an accelerated rate, and consumes copious amounts of greasy and fattening foods, without it having the slightest effect on her figure. She needs to consume somewhere in the region of twelve to fifteen thousand calories a day, more if it’s particularly strenuous. Her ability isn’t silent; displacing such a large amount of air makes a distinctive, solid, thump of suddenly compressed air. Long distance jumps take more out of her, with reaching her maximum range causing migraines, blackouts, and often vomiting. She also needs to be familiar with the area she is jumping to if it is long distance or a blind jump. She may be able to teleport with pinpoint accuracy if she can see her target, but teleporting to something she can’t see can easily end with her buried up to her waist in the earth or halfway through a wall.
She also maintains whatever momentum she has when she teleports, so if she falls off a building, she’d have to react pretty quickly in order to catch herself. Teleporting once she has acquired enough speed will still leave her travelling fast enough to leave her a smear on the pavement.

Alice was raised a strict Catholic, carries a Rosary and visits Church every Sunday.
She has some internalised homophobic views, partly thanks to her extremely strict Roman Catholic upbringing, and partly thanks to her own insecurities and fears about her own sexuality.
Though Lewis is capable of transfiguring his very looks, there’s one form he sticks with normally. His default appearance, if you will. In this, he's a man of Vietnamese-Korean descent with pale skin and a lanky build, with very little muscle of fat on his bones. Standing at only 5’5”, most would make the mistake of assuming Yung is younger than he really is. His hair is black with light hints of white laced inbetween strands. He keeps it long and disheveled. Partly because he can never find the time or money to style it, but mostly because he likes the ‘rugged, wild youth’ look, even if it makes him look somewhat of a hobo. His almond eyes are a rich, dark brown, dark enough to look black. Lewis holds a devil-may-care attitude towards his wardrobe. Not that it matters. Stylish clothes are a luxury he can't afford (literally). His clothing is composed of plain shirts, jeans, and jackets. Usually hand-me-downs and cheap buys from the local thrift store. The fanciest thing he owns is a silver, dove-shaped pendant that he never takes off, even when he changes his appearance.
Life wasn't just hard for Lewis. It was broken down apartment, share your clothes with your sister, no money for a meal difficult. But that's what happens if you're born in the Outer Ring. You suffer, you struggle, you survive. No questions asked, no complaints made. That's how things were. And the thing is, Lewis wasn't that mad about it. If he had to work, he worked. If he had to steal, he stole. Morals were only there to make him feel guilty for a second before moving on. His dad was some stranger who didn't even know he had a son, but y’know what? He didn't need one. He had his mom. He had his older sister. And that was enough.
But of course, that had to change.
Like everything, it started small. Lewis’ sister, Sara, would be asleep in her room. The next morning they'd find her in the closet, confused but okay. The initial answer was simple: sleep walking. Then it grew. It always did. She'd be sitting in the kitchen. One blink. Now she was sitting in her room. They would find her in the fridge, or hanging from the ceiling fan, or even on the roof. Sleepwalkers couldn't do that. Metahumans, teleporting metahumans, could. Lewis was fascinated. Their mother was in awe. The neighbors were terrified. A girl with that power could mean nothing but trouble, they whispered. Soon those whispers became rumors. She was dangerous. She was vicious. She was a monster that had to be stopped.
And so she was.
They came silently, like owls on the hunt. They swooped down in the middle of the night, slipping into the tiny apartment, leaving behind a broken corpse of a girl. She had been twelve, then. Lewis, ten. It wasn't until later that he learned to know and hate their name: The Pure.
The incident left his mother ill and silent, never leaving the house or speaking to anyone. Bills piled up. Food was scarce. Lewis needed a way to keep the remnants of his family behind.
The answer came when he woke up one morning with green eyes. No contacts. No surgery. Just a look in the mirror and there they were. Not dark, void black, but green. Brilliant, emerald green. Turns out Sara wasn't alone with her abilities. A bit of experimentation, a pinch of practice, and in a matter of time Lewis learned to control his newfound power. This time, however, he kept it a secret. There was no need for a repetition of the incident. He found stealing easier. Difficult cons now childsplay. Money, food, medicine for his mother. All of that came as easily as a drop of a hat.
Things haven't changed from then and now. Lewis still takes care of his ill mother, buying her what she needs with less than legal schemes. He's gotten involved with more than a few gangs and made quite a bit of unsavory deals, but hey. That's just how things are in Rivière.
Power Information
Power Class: Biological Super-System
Power:
Shapeshifting Lewis is able to alter his cells, allowing him to completely change his appearance. Although he is able to change specific factors of his body (i.e. eye color, hair color, skin color etc), he specializes in full body mimicry. No matter the age or gender, he is able to copy others with simply a look.
Voice Mimicry Along with appearance, Lewis can parrot the voice of whoever he wishes, granted he's heard the voice before. This aids in his disguises or tricking others through phone calls. Plus, it's really funny seeing people flip when a little girl speaks in a deep voice.
Limits:
Lewis is able to only alter living cells. Note the word ‘living’. He can't will an open wound closed, or undo a bruise. Additionally, Lewis’ transformations are far from perfect, and he can only copy from what he sees. If he sees only the face, then he can only do guesswork when trying to mimic the body or any minor details. His transformation time differs with the how much change he's undergoing. Small changes like hair color can last barely three seconds, but changing his entire body can last five to ten minutes depending on the size.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
Believe it or not, but having your bones and muscles stretch can hurt. A lot. While eye and hair color involve an odd sensation at worse, processes that involve his body shrinking or growing drastically can leave him with an uncomfortable ache and drain his energy. Often times, full scale changing will leave him hungry and fatigued. Multiple major transformations in a short time span can actually cause bodily harm, or worse.

Being his father’s son, James’ developed more conservative ideas and decided to base his radio talk show on his political opinions and support for political incorrectness. His show was named The Politically Incorrect Party and he mixed his opinions with his own style of comedy.
At the age of fifteen James began to suffer from migraines that would happen randomly at different times of the month and he regularly got eye sores. His trips to the doctor didn’t find any answers to his medical problems and his physicals showed that his body seemed to be fine, it was a mystery until his powers finally activated. One day while on his way home from high school, James saw a mugging happening and wanted step in and stop it, but then his migraines started up and he couldn’t focus on trying to stop the mugging.
His frustration with his condition caused him to mentally lash out in anger and that’s when his eyes glowed bright blue and shot out a beam of ice that froze the mugger’s legs, stopping him. After his powers activated, his migraines and eye sores only happened when he used his powers for too long and it would take him some time to learn how to control his metahuman abilities.
After graduating high school, James moved out of Austin Texas and went to collage in New Rivière City. The city was interesting, but it had its problems. After collage he went into the radio business and started his talk show. As for his powers he had discovered the other elements that he could fire out of his eyes and only used them when he found them necessary. In case of the need to fight, James trained in boxing and karate when he was younger and kept up with it to keep himself practiced in case the need for it arrived.
Despite his powers, James tries to live a normal life as a radio talk show host preaching against political correctness and the subjugation of free speech. Reading a bit of comics as kid gave James the idea of having an alias in case the need arose and named himself Pulsar for secret identity purposes.
Power Information
Power Class: Elemental Power: Elemental Vision:
James’ main power is the ability to generate different classical elements from his eyes in the form optical blasts and each has a different color that his eyes glow when utilizing one of them. He has five different elemental blasts. Fire vision causes James’ eyes to glow a bright red and shoot jets of hot flames, these flames are as hot as normal fire and is hot enough to heat up metal, but not melt it. Ice vision has his eyes glow bright blue and fire beams of ice that freeze parts of targets, the effect area of the beam is three feet in diameter. Metal vision makes James’ eyes glow a bright gray and golf ball sized steel balls shoot from them as fast moving projectiles and travel at 100 mph. Lightning vision causes his eyes to glow bright yellow and electric bolts fire from them and electrocute his targets, the electricity is no more powerful than a stun gun.
Limits:
James can only use one element at a time and his powers activate mentally so he has to will his powers to work and therefor can be sneaked up on before he can react.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
Prolonged use of his optical powers will cause him fatigue and drain him of energy. Using his powers for too long also puts a strain on his eyes and can temporary harm his eyesight. Finally aside from his powers James is basically human and has all of the human weaknesses.

Despite not having the physique most guys of his age possess, physical appearance doesn't relatively matter to Chris so long as he can function normally as a human being with a complete and able set of body parts. Chris stands at around 170 cm from a rough estimate and weighs at about 151 lbs. On the outside, he can be seen having an average build, composed mainly by a slim body frame and narrow shoulders. His apparent lack of muscle tone gives the impression that he doesn't bother on working out even at the slightest bit, which is not really a necessity for him as he couldn't find any point from it all. At times, he tried his best to give it a go but then ended up being too lazy and swirled up by his absurd philosophies in life. That being said, with his laziness, he reached at a point where keeping an image accepted by social norms is something he should be avoiding. This doesn't mean that neglecting his hygiene is a supposed response to that. He still maintains cleanliness at best and tries not to look as absurd as possible while remaining true towards his own self.
Chris' dark hair has been kept at shoulders length for quite some time and has no intention on cutting it anytime soon as he is largely comfortable from how it looks alone - a great excuse to hide his face from the masses. He has a rather pale complexion, which only proves how his childhood years revolved around being inside of his house and rarely going out. That's true for the most part but it doesn't apply to the majority on how his life was spent back then. He has dark eyes which he thinks is a distant heritage that he's completely oblivious of. Chris often lacks facial expressions, most especially when he's trying to interact with other people. He always looks bored and uninterested but those come off naturally and don't really mean that he's bored or uninterested in actuality. Even when he's angry his facial expressions look exactly the same and prove no difference whenever compared to his other moods.
With regards to clothing, Chris likes wearing anything dark-colored. He has a large collection of merchandise ranging from t-shirts to bull caps with printed logos of his favourite musicians. Often he keeps his style simple and again, not adhering too much towards social norms. He has a tattoo of a rose on his right shoulder and a small, prominent scar located near his left brow.
Skills/Talents:
Luck: While it technically doesn't apply to all real life situations, Chris has the natural acquisition of luck. Most of the time, he puts his reliance to his applied knowledge which in turn, puts him to the side where he can easily turn things around and have them running in his favour. Be it from a simple coin toss to effortlessly winning movie tickets, Chris is able to obtain them all with the help of his versatility and his unique set of characteristics he can benefit from - that, in which, can guarantee to invite luck at his side.
Musical skill: Growing up with parents who worked at bars, restaurants, events, etc. as musicians, it'd be no surprise if Chris himself has the innate affinity to have interest in music as well. He was able to learn a few musical instruments often used for jazz music but his favourite of all is the piano. While how he plays it doesn't match to an exceptional genius, one can say that he's quite good if given the chance to hear him play some pieces.
Brief Backstory:
Chris' early years were quite uneventful. It was an endless cycle packed with mundane absurdities that never even helped him develop his own growth nor be someone who is living to meet one's goals and aspirations. He was a kid who has nothing more in his hands than obeying what his parents told him, mostly adhering to what's right and what's wrong. For the most part, he didn't come from a privileged household. He belonged to a family where neither one of his mom nor dad had a good educational background. They strove throughout their lives, using whatever skills they can use to provide income and support each of their daily lives. Luckily, Chris' parents were decent musicians themselves who had their own band back when the days were brimmed with young stoners and aspiring rockstars. However, Chris didn't have a healthy relationship with his parents as he largely disliked their laziness and believed that they were the reason why he had nothing else to look forward to at the present time.
Regardless, he tried best to live his life forward without too much regret. Besides in the end, those things wouldn't matter to him anyway and having that point of view kind of made everything easier for him, or at least not as difficult as it could've been.
College wasn't a big requirement for Chris. As long as his age and educational background were fitting enough to be qualified for a decent-paying job, then those were the fixed conditions he ought to maintain. After finishing high school, he immediately began investing his time to earn and survive. Of course it wasn't easy; he was deemed incompetent for a few number of jobs but that didn't bring him down. Merely, they were only reminders that told him he wasn't trying hard enough and needed to make an effort to improve the way he does things. After all, if he didn't consider on trying another job, he shouldn't have tried in the first place if he was just going to give up in the end. Eventually, he did find a job and as soon as he earned enough to gain independence, he moved and resettled in the big city.
Perhaps life would've been quite normal if it wasn't for one discovery that forever changed Chris and his way of seeing things. It started off as a peculiar sensation, something that felt familiar but the more he tried to think about it, the more strange it became. Chris assumed it was just the result of him smoking too much but it was far from the effects one would have from taking drugs, because Chris knew that choosing them as an option would be an act of desperation and something which he'd very much regret in the end.
He could see things in different variations, all of which had a certain closeness to the events happening around him. It was as if he knew what the future was going to be. He was scared, terrified and paranoid of it. If anything, escaping the visions evincing throughout his perception was the first thing he wanted to do. However, the more he tried resisting it, the worse his condition became. It was at a particular occurrence where he began experiencing psychological pain, of which was caused by the visions that were invading his mental state. It became worse and worse up to the point where he stopped showing up for work and stayed inside of his apartment for an entire day, trying to relieve the pain that was lodging inside of his mind.
Currently, the condition calmed and Chris found another job to get his life together again after losing his previous one. Apparently, it wasn't easy for him, knowing that there was a certain kind of fear lodging inside of his mind that he couldn't even describe himself. At times, he just wanted it to end, and release himself from the suffering it was causing him, but even that was a lot more difficult to do.
Power Information
Power Class: Cerebral
Power:
Precognition
In which is known as foresight, future vision or fortunetelling by some. To simply put, Chris has the ability to foresee or predict future occurrences by subjecting himself through abrupt visions of the forthcoming. As these visions manifest a mental image, Chris' actions can eventually become influenced depending on how he wants to avoid particular future events that might be futile for his well being. He is also able to observe the sequence of events from these said visions as doing so will become useful onto assisting him in possible courses of action. This, however, is prone to continual change as what the future holds can completely come off as different from Chris' visions with the present time perpetually altering its flow. With that being said, Chris can prevent certain things from happening but that will solely depend on how much power he has to do so.
Limits:
While seeing what the future is can be a great advantage to many, but for the ability itself, there are limitations that can only make it as useful as it is. Firstly, Chris' foresight can only reach a singular time frame and cannot exceed beyond a few number of years. Most of what his visions hold are approximate events or anything that can be within the next day, week or month. Visions that tell about what's going to happen within the next two years or so rarely manifest and if they do, they can be quite vague and unclear as to what really happens in that specific time period. These visions can be similar to dreams and can be a bit challenging to remember unless there's something that can help on deciphering what they comprise. They are also involuntary actions that happen unexpectedly, but there can be some rare instances where Chris can use it within control.
Lastly, focusing on the visions that manifest images of the future can be quite difficult to do should there be any background disturbances.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
Chris has frequent memory loss not because it's naturally his trait but because of his precognitive abilities. The visions that are being generated in his mind lay an impact that causes his memory storage to overload, which in turn, affects the processing of his memories. While this side effect doesn't profoundly affect his overall performance to the point where he can't remember every single thing that happened, it is quite risky to have such results from the ability alone because it can possibly link to anxiety, occasional panic attacks or through a series of psychological torment.
Selective using of the ability can also strain the mind as it requires heavy brain activity to process and observe his visions of the future. At worse cases, it can even sap Chris' consciousness away from him as there are some unpredictable situations the ability provides wherein the user's mind can be temporarily suppressed within the visions due to having dream-like elements.

Joseph is a Male in his mid-twenties, who is of Avg height (5’10) and has an average weight.(180 pounds) He’s not exactly athletic, but Joseph isn’t obese either. While Joseph can not run extremely fast, or lift several hundred pounds, he can hold his own. His muscles are built well enough that Joseph can have some power behind his swings and also take a few hits. Joseph is also of Indonesian ancestry; though he considers himself completely American. He’s somewhat tan though Joseph is not completely dark. Like any typical Asian, he has brown eyes and black hair. As for his clothes, he doesn’t wear much flashy. Though he wears suits to work, usually Joseph will wear something casual when he’s not at the office. A simple jacket, t-shirt, and jeans.
Skills/Talents:
Joseph knows his way around computers.Due to spending years at the office, he’s pretty good with computers. Now, he won’t be able to hack into the NEST database or anything, he’s not some prodigy, but he can probably break into a simple personal computer. Joseph is also subtle enough that people will generally ignore him. He’s learned how to become just background noise, the kind of person that looks like he belongs there but generally looks like the type who’s just there.
Brief Backstory:
Joseph grew up on your typical Asian family. The kind that prioritized school over everything else, getting the best grades, getting into the best schools. There isn’t much to say about his family life. While he wasn’t close to his family due to their narrow-minded viewpoint towards him, Joseph never really hated them either. Just.. indifference. They didn’t show much love towards him, but at least, they took care of him. How could he complain when they sheltered, fed, and clothed him? Granted, he got decent grades in school, so there wasn’t much his parents could really get mad over. There might have been a fight or two, but nothing serious enough to get him expelled. It was enough to get him into a state college and major in computer science. Joseph wasn’t very active on his college campus, just going on campus to attend class. His college life was remarkably dull. After his four years, he got a degree and went into an internship.
The job was horribly boring. What ended up happening is that Joseph sat in the office every day, typing up some report or something. As such, he became depressed and angry. While he never wanted a glamorous life, a monotone office life was not something he was keen on either. But he kept quiet. In fact, Joseph would have probably stayed there, miserable and broken.
His boss knew this too and tormented him with it. It might have been a curse… or a blessing. It was on one fateful day when his boss was tearing him a new one, and Joseph screamed back. The windows and computer screens in the office began to crack, then explode violently, with glass pieces flying everywhere like shrapnel. A few workers were killed, dozens more injured. The local police didn’t know what to make of it. Some freak accident? Some strong wind? There were several theories but none of them fit.
Even Joseph wasn’t sure, at least until he had tested his newfound power out. Broke a few windows in the process, but Joseph found he could move glass with his mind. Even put glass shards back together perfectly with enough willpower. He also found he could shape glass, albeit crudely. Fearing NEST could have caught wind of the incident, Joseph decided to take a job offer in New Rivière City, putting a lot of distance from his former employers.
Power Information
Power Class:
Elemental
Power:
Vitrikinesis- Fancy wording for the power of manipulation of glass. Joseph is able to sense, create, shape and manipulate glass. This can take form in the basic form of manipulation, such as throwing glass itself at people or objects. For example, he could break a few glass windows, then throw the glass shards with his mind, which would be very effective against soft targets. Or he could shape glass into a crude weapon to have a makeshift weapon, providing versatility to his skillset.
Limits:
Generally Joseph can only manipulate glass he can actually see. The event in his former office was a bit of a fluke. Any attempt to control glass on such a big scale will usually end badly. Breaking glass also takes a second, so anyone fast enough can probably catch him off guard if he hasn't started manipulating beforehand. While he can shape glass weapons, glass is still extremely brittle. The maximum he could probably use these improvised weapons is probably 2 or 3 times.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
The glass Joseph manipulates is really still glass. Any extreme heat or cold would be an issue, as well as certain vibrations or sound frequencies. He also is more fragile whenever using his powers.

Damian Alexander Ahote Mallory, but he prefers to go by Alex
Age:
22
Gender:
Male
Appearance & Attire:
Damian has grown a bit taller since his time at the academy, now standing at an even 6 ft and weighing in at around 172 pounds or so, a little on the heavier side of what's to be expected but he attributes that to some weight added on by his prosthetic arm. While he's technically a mix of Native American and Irish, most people wouldn't be able to tell. From his long jet black hair, to his tanned skin, to the structure of his face, he seems to have gotten most of his looks from his mother, the only thing he really seemed to have gotten from his father were the greenish tinge that spread out in a sort of starburst formation from the pupils of his hazel eyes, and a faint dusting of freckles along the bridge of his nose and upper cheekbones.
His body is pretty lean and, thanks to NEST training, somewhat muscular as well. His torso, however, is a mess of scars, both surgical and strangers ones that seem almost like someone had scrapped skin from his body, leaving slight depressions in his skin. He also has these surrounding his eyes as well, but he starts everyday by hiding them with cover up to avoid questions. He hates having to use make-up, but he'd rather not get into discussions about how he got said scars if possible. That being said, the discussion comes up anyway when people see his prosthetic right arm, so it's always a question of why even bother most days. He tries to hide it by wrapping it up in bandages, but that only brings up more questions, making it a never-ending cycle of futility, though that's never stopped him from trying.
His usual attire is nothing fancy most of the time, usually just a light jacket over the long sleeve shirt, some worn blue jeans, and regular black shoes. When he's on duty, he wears the basic Nest uniform. He wears a pendant around his neck, a simple one that has a piece of amber that's been shaped into a horn. It's the only thing he has to know his mother by, and treasures it dearly because of that.
Skills/Talents:
He's a programmer and a gamer, never having worked out a day in his life that wasn't part of a school curriculum. He also likes to draw from time to time, and has gotten rather good at it since his time at the academy. That being said, he still doesn't consider himself as being that good more often than not. He's also gained some skills in hand-to-hand combat thanks to his Nest training, as well as some marksman training. He's decent in both, but more skilled in the latter than the former.
Brief Backstory:
Alex lived with his father in the city of Verthaven, with his father being a highly respected member of the community and just the two of them living in two-story house in Union-Point hills. He had only the faintest memories of his mother, who had died before he could remember. He had never been told how his mother died, and while obviously curious once he became old enough to become aware of that fact, he never could bring himself to ask his father. He had always felt a deep sadness in his father, one that always seemed to grow whenever his mother was mentioned.
He discovered his affinity with Technopathy when he was around 7 or 8, when his dad found him flipping channels on the T.V. just by staring at it. His father was so happy that he didn't even care that earlier that same day, he'd been suspended for getting into a fight with another student. 'Ah, You've just got a temper is all, just like your mother. Haha, she would've killed you for this, but before worrying over you like a fussy hen over her eggs.' It was one of the few times he'd ever heard his father speak about his without any sadness in his voice. It was only years later that he'd find out why his father was so elated, beyond fatherly pride that is.
4 years come and go without major incident, with Alex's father trying and failing to teach him how to use his abilities due to the differences in how they functioned, until one day when disaster strikes. As the son of a prominent Meta-human doctor, it was an inevitable conclusion that he'd eventually be targeted, yet it once his father never felt the need to plan for. he felt that with NEST and the police on the look out for the gangs and terrorist that'd try to go after his son would never be able to make it. His over-confidence in the government's capabilities was misplaced, however, as Alex was kidnapped on his way home from school by the ever mysterious Hands of Science. He and some other carefully selected Meta-humans of all ages and classes, were to become test subjects for a weapon the notorious group had created through their research, an insidious device that caused a Meta-humans cells to begin the Ashing process. The test took place in the Ghost Town, away from prying eyes and all Alex could do was watch in horror as dozens of people were killed in cold-blood, fading away until there was nothing left. Not every execution went off without a hitch, however , as some were only partially turned before the Ashing halted, leaving only half-living corpses in their lace. As he stared down the barrel, facing death as it began to charge an the end coming ever nearer, he prayed to god for some miracle to save him from death. But soon, all he could feel was pain as the world exploded around him .
It wouldn't be for another 4 years, at the age of 16, that Alex would finally open his eyes again, though he'd be quick to realize they weren't the ones he was born with. His sight was too crisp, too clean,, his eyes felt heavy in his head. Only half-thoughts could form as he looked around, only to be suddenly engulfed by his father in a extremely tight hug as he sobbed hysterically, tears flooding down his face, which had aged so much that it startled him. Over the next few months, ALex would be told of how NEST found him and the other surviving Meta's after noticing an odd level of power fluctuations in ghost Town. They arrived on the scene immediately, soon discovering the building the test were being held in and busting their way in. They found Alex along with the few other survivors, his body rapidly beginning to break down as the process began. He had been rushed to the hospital, where his father himself had operated on him, doing everything he could and more to save his son's life. He succeeded in the end, but not without severe consequences. Alex's eyes and arm had suffered catastrophic damage and had to be removed completely, as well as his brain and heart suffering from serious damage that left him comatose and tied to a machine. Many saw Alex as a terminal case, with little chance of making it through anymore, and told his father to just pull the plug and end his suffering. His father promptly told those people that they could take their opinion and go fuck themselves with it, before heading off to his labs, determined not to lose the only family he had left. It had taken years of work, research and pushing himself to the limits of his ability for him to become the man he is today, a pioneer in prosthetic technology, and more importantly, the man who gave his son back his life.
The next two years have been spent on physical therapy, as his muscle had atrophied due to disuse over the years, and also making sure everything was functioning properly. Once his father deemed him fit, as his recovery was sped up through the use of his father's other machines, his father decided it was time for him to learn how to use his abilities and how to control them, especially his rage-based ones, in order to prevent this kind of event from happening again. In truth, his father wanted him to have his powers suppressed to eliminate the danger entirely, and Alex was tempted to do so as well, but then his father told him of how his mother died, using her power, which was a similar form of emotional manipulation only more focused on defensive use than offensive, to save his father from an attack from a powerful Meta-human criminal. She had never really made use of her powers before, seeing no need to, and while it was strong enough to save many, many lives, the strain was too much for her to handle and she Ashed away right in front of him. Alex didn't want to lock up his power, he didn't ant to live in fear of it. Knowing of his mother's sacrifice, he felt as inspired as he felt saddened. He wouldn't allow himself to be but in that same situation. He learned first hand that danger always comes when you least expect it, so he at least wanted to learn how to fight back. HIs father was against it at first, but once he saw the stubborn look in Alex's eye that was so much like his mother's, he couldn't resist and gave in. He worked some added safety measures into his arm and sent him of to Academy 218, hoping that he made the right choice.
At the academy, he'd initially have his doubts about how well he'd be able to actually relate with his fellow students, as he was there for very different reasons than most of them, but in the end he found his fears to be mostly unfounded. He got along with people, made friends, enemies, and just livd his life as best he could. It was pretty fun . . . until the academy was suddenly attacked. The lights went out, people were screaming, and there was nothing but chaos and mayhem through out the school. Amidst the action, Alex somehow found himself facing off against one of the intruders, barely being able to hold him back until they called a retreat, and almost pushing himself to asking again from the process of not only defending himself, but some other students that had gotten caught in the cross-fire.
After the incident, Alex's mind was more set than ever on what he wanted for his future, and what he needed to learn if he were to accomplish his goals. He swore that that would be the last time he found himself so helpless against another person ever again, and as soon as he was able, he signed up to join NEST. TO say the transition in life style from somewhat spoiled rich kid to NEST cadet was jarring is quite the understatement, and Alex would be lying if he said that he didn't feel like he just wasn't met for this kind of work at times. But he pushed those thoughts to the side, and kept on pushing, and after he got over his first hump, the rest came to him with moderate ease. While still a cadet, he's been assigned to an officer in New Riviére for some on the job training, to learn the ins and outs of the field from a professional.
Power Information
Power Class:
Super-System, Cerebral
Power:
Technopathy: This is an ability he inherited from his father, though instead of gaining control of the hardware like his father, his son has a more intimate connection with technology. He doesn't command them so much as ask them to do what he wants, the download and uploading of data in and out of his head being more like a conversation than a strict process. The software, the coding and programs that form the synapses of the technology and tell it what to do is his domain. This allows him to interact with the tiny constructor drones in his robotic prosthetic, guiding their movements and actions with remarkable ease, as well as the queen, which were built by his father. The drones and the arm are made from a experimental metal alloy that has been infused with Meta-human energy, making it resistant to the abilities of other Metahumans.
Alex main use of this Technopathy is focusing more on his true passion: Coding, with a focus on game design to be precise. With his ability, there are very few computers and technologies he can't coax into giving up their secrets, if he ever decided to get into the hacking field(not to say he's never hacked before, of course, but he's done it very rarely). Also, thanks to the fact that his eyes are now all machine, he can create a form of HUD display in which he can actively scan and get a read out on a particular piece of technology, a program he created using his powers. He's done several such programs for his arm as well, from making it have capable of being a wi-fi hotspot, creating a few gigs of space using constructors in order to store his music, to even setting up a holographic display(a device he kinda hacked out from his dads files) around his arm, so he can do things like watch tv, get the time, surf the web, etc, etc
Cybernetic Enhancements: After losing his right arm, eyes, and nearly his life the first time he lost control of his powers, his father, a powerful Technopath and a highly regarded doctor, immediately set to work helping his son to recover. The drive created from his need to help make sure this event never happened again drove his powers to new heights, allowing him to control technology down to it's base materials, and from those, created entirely new technologies that previously wouldn't be thought easily possible. With this new power in hand, he slowly but surely began to work on advanced prosthetics, a slow and steady process of over 5 years and numerous prototypes where his son was the main test subject. Eventually, he was able to get them to their current level of aptitude.
Along with the arm, he also has a cybernetic eye replacements, allowing him to see as normal, though they are capable of scanning people vitals(which causes his eyes to change like so when activated) and if they are suffering any injuries on their person or exhibiting signs of heighten electrical activity(so he knows who to stay away from), a symbiotic heart implant, as that was also dangerously damaged during the event and was the first thing that his father worked to create, as he likely wouldn't have made it past the age of 15 without it. There are also a few others that help make sure that everything else in his body stays functional.
Along with having all of the functionality of a regular arm, is also has an array of offensive and defensive tools incorporated into it, as well as some more luxury-features that Alex later added in with his own abilities. These include a decent amount of enhanced strength and durability(more so in the later than the former), allowing him to lift people much larger than him with ease and take a blow from Meta-humans with super strength with barely a dent in the casing. His shoulder and part of his torso has been reinforced and fitted with advanced shock-absorbers, so as to minimize the damage that such actions and impacts would have on the rest of his body. The arm also has a built in taser, so along as someone comes is in physical contact with the arm, they'll be in for a world of hurt, and this can be used at a range by having his drones build darts to launch at his foes.
The drones themselves are phenomenal works of engineering by his father, able to make anything from bed sheets to high powered laptops and even greater than that as well, as long as they have a blueprint coded into the software. On hand, Alex has about every blueprint one could ever need for the luxury items in his life, but he also has a cool little tool that he kinda begged out of his dad, who also repurposed it for less emergency based needs. Basically, Alex can summon a force field that has three modes:Comfort, Personal defense, Group Defense. In more detail, he has a device in his arm(that he can also make for others using his drones) that can cover him in a field of modified Meta-human energy, using him as the battery. In comfort mode, it basically keeps him warm and protection him from air and waterborne hazards by filtering them out or simply blocking them, as well as keeping the temperature around his body relatively comfortable in regards to his surroundings. The field is completely invisible and fits solely around his body, almost like a second skin. Personal defense mode makes it a bit more visible, as it forms a malleable oval that bends and contorts in conjunction with his body, and provides moderate level of protection from physical attacks, and a noticeably better protection from elemental based attacks. This is what he uses in a fight and to keep his heart from immediately getting shut down while engaging with an Electrokinetic. Heavy physical blows(from either super-strength Meta-humans or having large things thrown at him) can overcome the shield's capacity to defend if the force is too great, leading to Alex suffering more intensive injury, though likely much less than what he would've been exposed to without it. Against elementals, he has more of an advantage in protecting himself from harm, but if he got hit with a concentrated blast of their attack, in most cases, it cause his shielding to weaken, and thus, provide an opening for them to strike. The final form is for when he needs to protect a group, and is the strongest of the three, covering up to 10 meters in diameter. While the energy consumed is usually his, if he can get a volunteer to stick a needle in their arm, connected to his, he can share the burden with them, making the shield that much more stable.
Limits:
The constructor bots guidelines have been reworked to more properly align themselves with his new line of work. Lethal weapons and explosives can now be created, though there must be an active threat in the area in order for this to be done. The size limit remains the same as before, nothing bigger than what would fit in a 6ft circumference.
When engaging with technology, he needs to focus on his 'conversation' with the software, so he can't do if there's a lot of distractions nearby or he's suffering under some kind of duress.
The constructors drones run on his meta-human energy, and the amount they take is related to the size and complexity of an item, with complexity taking a lot more out of him than size. Something like a laptop, tablet, or smartphone will leave him feeling, while relatively small in size, will leave him quite fatigued after making it due to how complex the machinery is. Making a large blanket or comforter, however, is rather easy. The time it takes for him to create something goes from anywhere between 5-45 seconds depending on the item. Making the Porta-shield, the most complex thing he can build, will leave him very much drained and maybe even slightly paralyzed.
When it comes to the porta-shield, the drain is relative to the strain being put on it. Comfort mode is the easiest to maintain, so much so that he can keep it on indefinitely in most cases, the drain is so minor. It starts to get to him, however, when he's stuck in extremes of either weather cycle, and while it'll still take a while for him to run low on energy, he'll have to conserve what he has access to more efficiently, less he ends up stuck in the snow with a metal arm. Personal defense is tougher to maintain, definitely something he won't be using for extended periods of time if he can avoid it. The protection can be overcome if hit by a strong enough blow attack, and the shield doesn't completely block out physical attacks either, as he'll still be knocked back and stagger, it just that he won't have to worry about broken bones along with it. Given the drain, this is one that he tends to only use against foes where he's definitely going to be in for a bad time if he doesn't. Group protection is the one that can kill him f he's not careful and doing it alone. While maintaining it by itself is rather easy, once it's put under strain, it really starts eating through his energy. If it's overcome by the attack the shield will give out final shockwave in attempt to knock the aggressor back. F he has enough energy in him, he can throw in a flash bang as well, to disorient them while people either attack or try to escape. After using this, Alex is almost always down for the count, barely able to move, think, or speak, let alone create anything. This is an extreme last resort move, when their is no other option to keep either himself or a group alive.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
The Queen that creates the Constructor Drones and provides the with materials(who synthesizes them by feeding passively feeding on ALex's Meta-human energy) to build, which are rather small at about 2-3 cm in length, is embedded in his shoulder. If that area is ever damaged, or if the queen is ever compromised, then Alex will lose all ability to over his constructors, and maybe in his arm if the damage is severe enough. The Arm also has a weak spot on the inside of the elbow, so a strong hit there could probably rip right through and either remove or disable everything to the south of that point.
Due to the fact that his constructors have a finite material amount to build with, he can only build a limited amount of things before his drones need to refil, which would take about 1-2 minutes if he completely exhausts them(like if he made a ridiculously good laptop or the Porta-shield), but usually takes him about 30 seconds or so if he's still got some in reserve.
Due to his mechanical parts, even though the material they're made of was meant to be resistant to Meta-Human powers, are highly susceptible to strong electrical currents. So if Alex is charged with enough true electricity, then any and all of his prosthetics could shut down, leaving him potentially blind, unable to use one of his arms, and suffering from cardiac arrest due to his heart suddenly stoping. That latter is a problem for most, but for him the risk is especially high.
He suffers from splitting headaches and debilitating nausea when he's close contact with electromagnetic waves, as they interfere with the machines in his head. If one were to focus a beam or something of that nature of electro-magnetic waves at him, they'd temporarily short circuit and he'd be instantly knocked out, and stay like that for a good five minutes or so, give or take.
Can't swim that well do to the fact that his body is kinda lopsided in the wait department, so water is definitely something to be careful of.

Alex is a creative and romantic sort, prone to flights of fancy and chasing various ideals that pop into his head. He has a bit of a temper, but tries very heard to keep it in check, often taking part in things like Yoga, Tai-chi, and meditation to help him stay calm. Other than that, he's also a bit of a jokester, always ready to make a sarcastic reply or a joke, though whether he's any good at it depends on who you ask. Despite his near death experience, he's quite care free, except when it comes to his abilities, not really stressing much on anything.
Is currently taking remedial classes in order to catch up on the six years of school he's missed. It's a lot of work to do, and in not a lot of time, but he's busting his ass to get it done. That means that he tends to spend a lot of time by himself or in the library studying and practicing like there's no tomorrow.
Hates Carrots and Greens
Is somewhat addicted to sugary foods
Is a relative open-minded person and always ready to make new friends
Alex has created a Artifical Intelligence using his coding skills, Technopathy, and a few brain scans talen from some of his father's patents and from his friend, Diana. In fact, she was the main reason he was able to make a good amount of progress, as the scan gave him a great amount of data on a fully intact and healthy human brain. The A.I goes by the name Nora(self-named much to Alex's chargin) and she's been in activation for about 1 and a half years. She serves as Alex's assistant for most days, but can also assist him in hacking and decryption as well, though she's not as good.
One odd observation that Nora has made is that Diane is technically her mother and Alex her father, as such, she tends to want to talk to Diane whenever possible and also emulates her behavior to an extent. Something Alex doesn't necessarily like, as he's afraid of what people will think of him because of it. Not only that, but he finds Nora's insitanxe in gender, names, and recently, wanting a body to be both interesting and annoying. He wonders if this desire to express indoviduality is due to the use of Diane's brain or just a natural progression. Either way, she's his most annoying accomplishment and is constantly hooked into his head through wireless connection, the main server holding her consciousness is located at wherever his current residence is.
Bleu is a young caucasian man with messy, short, brown hair and a fair skin tone. He stands at an average height and owns an moderate build. He would almost not stand out if it weren't for his hand-me-down, baggy clothing that he's usually seen wearing. Many of his pants are ripped at the knees and it's not often you can see him in a shirt that doesn't have a hole somewhere in it. His shoes, however, alway seem to be in decent shape.
Skills/Talents:
Bleu is rather fearless, great at sports for someone who isn't involved in clubs or the sort, and fairly good at climbing things and ignoring pain. He doesn't really have many skills he can apply to a specific career choice, but he does have more courage than most, allowing to try things that are new. He does also own a bit of experience in fighting, though he is not trained in any martial arts or the like.
Brief Backstory:
Bleu, or rather, Bobby Penn, grew up in a household that could only just barely afford food on the table, with parents that worked long, hard hours and rarely saw home before the later hours of night. His relationship with his parents was strained because of this, and became even worse when his powers showed up later in life due to his father's unwarranted prejudice against meta-humans.
Since his parents were rarely home and he had a babysitter who could care less, Bleu was often allowed to do whatever he so desired, only really getting punished when it affected his household. He was somewhat of a delinquent, often skipping class on a whim and sleeping when he did show up. As he grew older, he became more and more reckless, going out to parties and doing things that probably aren't too bright. He'd often jump at the chance to win a bet and earn anything to spin, even if he wound up with a few more bruises. There was even the occasional fight, though this was because he had a bigger mouth on him than he should rather than him being aggressive. One day when he was 15, he discovered his ability while showing off to some girls and almost hurt one of them. Since then, he's learned to live his life as a sub-human, the last interesting thing of note being of how he got his nickname, Bleu. While he was digging through some of his oldest belongings, he found some homework from kindergarten, where he simply spelled his favorite color wrong. This, for some reason, stuck, and he's been called Bleu ever since.
Power Information
Power Class:

Power:
Riftwalk - Bleu has the ability to create "tears" in existence on anything he touches that can be opened, letting him either travel through the object or rest within the "tear", which act like a temporary separate dimension. If desired, said "tears" can be closed, leaving no mark on the subject of the power or they can be cancelled, removing the area where the "tear" existed entirely. This functionally allows him to cut through anything, no matter how tough or thick. There is no true range limit on the power.
Limits:
There is a limit of 5 "tears" in total that may be open at any given time. Additionally, "tears" require a surface to exist on and cannot be made in the air or out of nowhere.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
As Bleu is only able to create "tears" on something he has touched, foes able to keep distance are especially effective against him, especially if he is put in an area he is not familiar with. Very sizeable "tears" also put a lot more strain on Bleu. These cannot be directly placed on people.

Raina Eavan O'Speedwagon | Good | Acquaintance/Rival | "Could quit being so afraid of living life, but they're not so bad." |
Janet | Good | Crush | "Very fun to be around, knows how to have a good time. Wish she was better at keeping secrets, though..." Has some purdy lips
Raina is Caucasian with very fair skin inherited from her Irish ancestry. Her hair is shoulder length, and while being considered brown, has a tinge of red to it. She stands at a petite 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs a mere 110 lbs. She has a petite but well formed frame, however this is often hidden under baggy sweatshirts and loose fitting jeans. She is also loathe to be seen without her headphones either over her ears or hanging around her neck.
Skills/Talents:
Raina is a fairly talented musician, capable of playing a variety of instruments ranging from the piano, to the guitar, to the flute. Her singing is also usually well recieved, she doesn't get boo'd off the stage at karaoke at the very least. On the more physical aspect, she is in considerably above average shape, going for extended runs most every day and exercising every morning to stay fit.
Brief Backstory:
Raina was born a second generation American, as her paternal grandfather immigrated over from Ireland during his younger years. That said, her accent is nigh on negligible, carrying just a hint at her ancestry in her voice. Her parents were both normal, not developing any manner of power, but they still they were accepting of Raina when she began to develop her own.
Her own power developed fairly young in life. She was at a piano recital at the age of 8 when her own power manifested in such a way that well. . . ruined the performance.
Raina's family ran. The moved to a new city and hid her power. That said, they didn't stifle Raina herself from developing. She continued music lessons all through her young life, but developed her power in secret. Luckily for her, unless she willed it to be so, her own power would not manifest in the most obvious of ways. To be honest, her life developed in a pretty normal way, with the exception of the whole becoming a meta-human thing. Her parents raised her to respect human life, and to take care of herself. As such, she is a serious person that works hard. She is living on her own in New Rivière City as a dealer and bartender at a casino in town.
When she moved to this new town, she first met up with some friends of her parents, and their foster daughter. This daughter was a bit of a troublemaker, but it soon became habit for Raina to just look after her like a little sister. A couple years after moving to New Rivière City, she got words that both of her parents had passed in a car accident with a drunk driver back in their home town. With no strings holding her to her past life, she is living each day free.
Power Information
Power Class:
Elemental (Energy)
Power:
Raina's power is that of control over vibration. This manifests itself in a myriad of different ways. One such way is weaponizing sound waves as a physical force of varying intensity based on how much power she exerts on it as well as the strength of the original sound wave. For example, should she clap with maximum force, and focus wholly on that wave, she can exert the force of a full body tackle on her target. Another use would be a form of echolocation. While whistling for example, the sound waves scout out the area around her and return to reveal the layout of the nearby area. She can cancel out other sounds through a usage of dissonance in the sound, creating a vacuum of sorts for all sound in an area, as well as vibrate her own molecules, allowing her to transmit more energy through contact that say, a normal punch. This also allows her to transmit force through objects, arriving at her target without damaging the medium in between.
Limits:
The main weakness of Raina's power is that of dispersing energy. Her own power can only hold the vibrating molecules together for so long before the energy contained within disperses. Her sound wave attacks only go for 10 to 15 meters before dispersing. While her echolocation is not so, she can still only search for a defined amount of space. This may change as her power gets stronger, but as of now, she cannot keep the waves together indefinitely.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
The years of playing with sound waves have made Raina's own hearing rather sensitive to loud noises. While she copes with that, and it has even helped her music, it is still a weakness nonetheless. Her power also does not make her any less vulnerable to damage than any normal human.

Wei is a Chinese male who stands at about 6 foot, weighing in at 185 lbs. He has high and distinct cheekbones, with a perpetually defined jaw line. He can be seen sporting a light beard and moustache in between shaves, which at times is little more than peach fuzz. He has relatively short, scruffy black hair. Moving away from his face, he has a muscular frame with chiseled abdominals and sizable biceps. Along with this set of muscles are an apparent set of veins, which do not necessarily bulge, are definitevly visible. Wei has several tattoos inked along his body, each one having it’s own, separate meaning to him (more on that later). Commonly, Wei can be seen sporting a leather jacket and a “wifebeater” underneath. If not this, some sort of tank top is always in order for Wei, lest temperatures be freezing cold. More often that not, Wei is wearing a gold chain, which rests around his neck.
Wei’s Tattoos: Tattoo of Guan Yu on his left bicep. Guan Yu is as much a figure of Chinese folklore as of historical fact – in life he was a revered military general, but in death he was deified as the Taoist God of War. Unusually for a God of War, Guan Yu is a peace loving deity who blesses people who observe the code of loyalty and righteousness rather than all those who go into battle. Guan Yu also represents brotherhood, which is a big part of life for Wei as an ex-member of the Triads.
(2) Tattoo(s) of Dragon on his right bicep stretching to his right pectoral and other on his left forearm. Chinese dragons are the symbols of power and mystery, evoking both fear and worship. In China, the mighty dragon is celebrated as much for its benevolence and intelligence as for its malevolence and ferociousness. Wei believes the same could be said of his personality. But more importantly, this is the symbol for the Triad gang Wei was apart of in his earlier years.
Tattoo of the Yongqi symbol (勇气) on his left pectoral. Yongqi is a Japanese character that translates to “Courage.”
Skills/Talents:
Fluent in both English (albeit with a slight accent) and all five Chinese dialects
Wei is relatively strong, only having about 15% body fat. Wei can bench press 280 pounds and squat 300 pounds (at one rep each).
While by no means is Wei some kind of lights out deadeye crack-shot, he is very adept with a firearm. Years in the Chinese gangs guaranteed him this skill.
Wei is no stranger to crime and gangs, so, as cheesy as it sounds, Wei has extensive street knowledge
Brief Backstory:
Wei grew up on the ship breaking yards of Tianjin in China on the coast of the Yellow Sea. Long and forgotten, these beaches, nicknamed the Shipyards, was where a large number of denizens made their living, crews swarming over boats to salvage what copper, iron, and other materials they could from the boats. If one was to stroll down to the beaches of Tianjin they would see hulking skeletons of mammoths that once peacefully glided across the glimmering waters, but now are nothing more than rusting hulls with scavenging crews crawling over the copper frameworks like gnats on a dead body. In an attempt to help provide for his family, Wei was inducted into a shipbreaking crew at the age of 12. His small and lanky twelve year old body was of more importance than one might think to a crew of muscular and brawny men. His size allowed him to be lower into the dark and musty maze of ventilation shafts that ran throughout the ships. He would strip copper wiring and enter crawlspaces and occasionally find remnant treasures such as oil, which were rare commodities for the crew. Eventually, Wei grew too old, and by effect too large, to fit the role the Shipbreakers needed, and he was out of a job. He and his single mother could no longer afford rent, and they moved in with Wei’s grandparents in Shanghai. His grandfather was an ex-pat from America who moved to China and quickly fell in love with his wife. It was over the next four years, that his grandfather taught him english. Wei was reluctant at first, detesting that it was a useless skill which he would never utilize. However, his grandfather was insistent that English was the primary language of the world, and if he was not to learn it he would be stuck in Chinese poverty his entire life.
Wei grew up poor, but compensated by always making sure he was the coolest guy around, and was bold in nature, so he was never afraid of challenging his rivals. As many young men in low income socioeconomic situations do, Wei got mixed in with the wrong crowd, and was inducted into the 14K Triad. The strong Triad ideals of brotherhood and loyalty reverberated strongly with Wei, and he eagerly swore to the 36 oaths. Wei became heavily involved in opium and heroin trafficking throughout the inky and mysterious back alleyways of Shanghai. At the age of 24, Wei took control of a small drug operation and began targeting upper class women and teenage girls, making them addicted to heroin, so that he could be able to exploit and force them into prostitution to support their addictions. This caught the attention of filmmakers and distributors, allowing Wei to use his girls as porn stars. With the profits, Wei laundered the money into larger drug operations and would use the profits to invest further in the entertainment and pornography industry. In just three years, Wei was in control of vast drugs, prostitution, and pornography rackets. It was not a pretty way to make money, but it was a way to make a whole lot of it.
It was around this time, Wei’s meta-abilities started manifesting themselves to him. Wei was open about these new found capabilities with fellow brothers of the Triad, expecting them to see opportunity in new ways he could utilize this new capacity for meta-energy. However, Wei was greeted with metaphobia and uneasiness by his fellow brothers. Uneasiness grew to distaste and distaste grew to agitation. Tensions boiled over eventually and Wei was forced out of the Triad and a hunted man. This filled Wei with anger and disgust, as the Triad had broken the very 36 oaths that every member swore and lived by, and had broken the trust that came with brothership. Knowing first hand the danger of the 14K, Wei made plans to flee to America to begin a new life. He arranged for his grandparents and his mother to be relocated to Seoul in Korea, and gave them a large sum of money he had earned from his racketeering to keep them well off.
… And just like that, he was off.

Dimensional Manipulation Also known as Dimensiokinesis, Dimensional manipulation is the ability to essentially "rip holes" through the spatial and dimensional plane. In layman's terms, one can open portals, whether it be to the other side of the world or 40 feet away. The way these "portals" work is a dimensional hole is opened which allows anyone to pass through it; a spatial worm-hole if you will. In essence, you are basically traversing an area but you are taking out the distance you are required to travel in between. As a result, these portals are live, meaning that one can put one arm or leg through, but have the rest of their body still be on the other side of the dimensional hole. In other words, there is no big flash of light when you enter one, the transition is seamless. These dimensional wormholes are opened and closed at the behest of the creator, meaning, if left open, any one can go through it. The insides of these "portals" have the appearance of their destination with a slight glow outlining them.
Pocket Dimension Creation: As on might guess, Pocket Dimension Creation is the ability to create pocket dimensions. Pocket dimensions are small virtual mini-verses created by the user, or in this case, Wei. They can be as small as the inside of a trunk to as big as a very large warehouse. The laws of physics, gravity, et cetera are decided upon creation, although creating a large pocket dimension is very taxing and a time consuming ordeal. In other words, not something that can be done on the fly. These "virtual realities" are accessed through portals (see Dimensional Manipulation) which can only be created by the maker of the pocket dimension known as Gateways. These pocket dimensions are often used for storage or sometimes deciet (ie pocket dimension Gateway placed in a doorway, Gateway leads to identical room in which they would have entered, however it is not the room, it is a pocket dimension built to look like the room).
Limits:
Dimensional doors, as they're sometimes called, are limited in that Wei cannot just go creating portals to wherever he; certain requirements must be met. In order for Wei to be able to create a dimensional hole to a place/location he must either be able to see where he is creating a hole to, or he has to have been to the place before. So, to be perfectly clear, one cannot just create a portal to the lush safaris of Tanzania if they have never been there. As well as this, only one hole can be open at a time. On top of this, dimensional holes can only be, at max, the height of an average doorway. This means no gargantuan dimensional wall which could envelop a small army. As far as pocket dimensions go, they have their own set of limitations as well. As mentioned before, the size of these pocket dimensions are limited, and are never bigger than a warehouse. So this means that although it is called a pocket dimension, emphasis on the pocket, as they are never as big as a real dimension. Coupled with this, the user cannot create sentient life. Perhaps they could create projections which are "scripted" to do things, but never sentient life. Lastly, pocket dimensions cannot be changed or edited once they are created. The setting the user creates is decided at its conception and is not able to be changed once made.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
The main issue with this power is the conundrum of stability. Keeping pocket dimensions and dimensional holes stable becomes increasingly difficult the more time they are left up. If someone is passing through a dimensional worm hole and loses their concentration to keep the hole open, this could lead to them letting go of the wormhole. The best way to think of it is someone prying open a hole through the spatial plane with both hands, and they must keep it open with both their hands, because if they let go, even just a little bit, that hole will slam shut. If one is caught in the middle of a closing hole whatever body parts that were in the middle of the portal are lost to dimensional nothingness, and you can kiss that limb goodbye. The same goes for pocket dimensions; keeping the pocket dimension stable grows increasingly difficult as more and more time passes. Signs of instability are apparent when the lights start flickering, the room begins to shake, et cetera et cetera. Eventually the dimension will collapse in on itself, resulting in instant death for whoever is in there.
On top of this, the toll the creation of a portal has on it's user scales to the distance the dimensional door covers. Something that is only a couple hundred feet away would not tax the user at all, but something like a couple hundred miles away is very taxing and could leave the user in a very weakened state if the toll of the creation was too much for them. Coupled with this, the amount of concentration required to keep the portal open scales with the distance required too. Something a couple hundred feet away would not require much concentration at all, but a couple hundred miles away would be something that a user has to give his utmost and complete attention to, and any small slip would cause the dimensional door to slam shut.
At Wei's current power levels & adeptness with the skill, he is not able to do crazy spatial jumps like across entire continents without ashing, and things that are more than a hundred miles in any direction, it's safe to say he would be left in a weakened state after making such a jump.
