@FamishedPants Oh yeah, missed you. What I really want to know is if his "tears" can work on people?
M-missed me? ///blushu
Anyways, yeah, they can. However, he cannot create them on people directly! Thusly, if he wants to tear you in half, he's gonna need to you to enter a portal in some way!
Alright I made my edits based on what we discussed.
Hmmm... I might be missing something, but I don't see the changes.

Well, that doesn't seem as bad as tearing someone in half. I guess he's accepted.
Ayaka has the appearance of a young woman in her late teens with a slender physique and soft, white skin. Standing at a meager 153 cm, she can hardly be said to cast an imposing figure despite her beliefs to the contrary. She has finely-textured golden hair, cut relatively short, that seems as if sprinkled with gold dust. Her face shows some signs of naivety and displays a refined elegance undercut with a sort of inherent haughtiness and confidence.
Skills/Talents:
Academia: Reading, writing, arithmetic, sciences, etc. Above average. It's actually worth noting that, thanks to her chuuni nature, Ayaka's knowledge of reading/writing is top-notch thanks to being able to make sense of all sorts of uncommon words. Very fast reader. Knows a lot of complicated science words but uses them incorrectly; it's unclear as to whether or not this is intentional.
Singing: Unironically good at this. She does it too much though. Like, way too much.
Charisma: In terms of addressing a crowd, public speaking, personal willpower, persuasive ability and the like, Ayaka can be called first-rate among twenty year olds. The content of what is said mitigates this pretty harshly though.
Improvisation (Stories): Capability to create tales and worldbuilding that make the Silmarillion seem tame, all in the span of a second and a half. A ridiculous existence who can weave complex narratives that not even she can follow. The peak of possibility in the art.
Brief Backstory:
As one could gather from the apparent cultural dissonance in her name, Ayaka's parents were...eccentric, to say the least. For some reason or another, in their youth they had both become rather taken with the culture of a certain island nation, and had since built their lives around that culture. Both Ayaka and her older brother, Ryuichi, were given names taken from that culture sphere.
It is now worth explaining a concept central to Ayaka's nature. The word "chuunibyou" is used to refer to a syndrome typically acquired in the early adolescent years by some, particularly for individuals who never grow out of such a phase. Ordinarily, those who are subject to this sort of behavior grow out of it by around the age of fifteen.
Ayaka can be called an unparalleled paragon of chuunibyou, one who was predetermined from birth to follow such a path. If fate does truly exist, then she can be called an existence that is irreparably bound to and yet wholeheartedly accepts her fate. She believes without question that she is a being on par with a god, and in fact believed this prior to even awakening her ability. If asked about her family history, she weaves a complex genealogy of varying celestial and demonic beings despite the fact that such things don't exist in the minds of rational people.
Something worth noting is that she never gives the same family tree twice, but each time she gives it, she believes it earnestly. It cannot be said that she lies; rather, her beliefs reorient themselves constantly in order to align themselves with her moods and vacillations. In that sense, Ayaka would probably make a good politician if it wasn't for the whole chuunibyou thing.
As one could thus deduce, the eccentricies of her parents were not lost on their children, and in fact, it is no exaggeration to say that her parents (as well as her older brother) are the root cause of Ayaka's chuunibyou. Dinner conversation at the Smith house generally revolved around matters from the secret techniques Ryuichi had been practicing to Ayaka's plan to ascend to Demon God. Save for her absurd family situation and demeanor though, she grew up rather well, albeit somewhat socially isolated (which only stunted her social competence further). Her power was actually awakened not under stress, but one day when she was writing a story about a hero chosen by celestial powers, climbing a tower ruled by monsters only to realize that his traveling companion had been the Demon Lord all along, her emotions ran so high in writing it that something in her awoke.
Since then, not much has actually changed in her life, as she views the time with her power as the same as the time without her power, always considering herself to have had "heaven-defying abilities". She's currently studying for a Bachelor's in Eastern Mythology, something her parents are worryingly happy to pay for. It is worth noting that she still fully intends on becoming a Demon God one day.
It's honestly a miracle she hasn't screwed something up and died yet.

Power
Power:
Magnum Opus Endowment - Creation of a passionate narrative that is, through actualization via power, made into fact providing that the subject of the narrative already exists. Requires incantation, inscription, or otherwise a method of putting the narrative into some form outside the mind. This should not be conflated with manipulating reality, as it is closer to the ability to endow something with concepts. For instance, writing a narrative about how a sword glowed with a blazing flame would subsequently cause the sword to become alight with fire.
Limits:
The vaguer the statement is, the weaker the effect; for instance, by making a sword into a sword on fire, the fire will be weaker than if a narrative was written about how, for "this hour only", the sword was on fire; this has an additional tradeoff of being a narrative that takes longer to write. Further, this cannot be used on living beings without their express consent. This ability is also only able to confer additional properties; for instance, she can add fire to a sword, but cannot take fire away from a sword that is already on fire.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
As this ability does require crafting a narrative about the subject, it is unsuitable for use in the heat of battle, as it's hard to give a grandiose speech or write an amazing story while dodging energy beams and flying chairs. Further, some familiarity with the subject is needed, so in an unfamiliar environment it might as well be useless.
@Mr Allen J Yes hello. I just woke up because I am in a bit of a different time zone, but I am here now. At least till I go to work. But I will be back. Anyway, it is difficult to say what the upper limit to my power would be given that the force produced is based on existing sound. Like, I suppose that based on sound she can create herself, the power would be limited to a certain amount of damage. Let's say that as an assigned value, a loud clap is equivalent to a full body tackle? When she is focusing the whole of her attention that that specific wave and vibration at least.
Allen, I think I might try and go with a different power just to be hitch free :) I was thinking portal creation or dimensional manipulation as possible ideas.

Man, portal creation sounds pretty cool. Wish I thought of that. :^)
Damian Alexander Ahote Mallory, but he prefers to go by Alex
Age:
22
Gender:
Male
Appearance & Attire:
Damian has grown a bit taller since his time at the academy, now standing at an even 6 ft and weighing in at around 172 pounds or so, a little on the heavier side of what's to be expected but he attributes that to some weight added on by his prosthetic arm. While he's technically a mix of Native American and Irish, most people wouldn't be able to tell. From his long jet black hair, to his tanned skin, to the structure of his face, he seems to have gotten most of his looks from his mother, the only thing he really seemed to have gotten from his father were the greenish tinge that spread out in a sort of starburst formation from the pupils of his hazel eyes, and a faint dusting of freckles along the bridge of his nose and upper cheekbones.
His body is pretty lean and, thanks to NEST training, somewhat muscular as well. His torso, however, is a mess of scars, both surgical and strangers ones that seem almost like someone had scrapped skin from his body, leaving slight depressions in his skin. He also has these surrounding his eyes as well, but he starts everyday by hiding them with cover up to avoid questions. He hates having to use make-up, but he'd rather not get into discussions about how he got said scars if possible. That being said, the discussion comes up anyway when people see his prosthetic right arm, so it's always a question of why even bother most days. He tries to hide it by wrapping it up in bandages, but that only brings up more questions, making it a never-ending cycle of futility, though that's never stopped him from trying.
His usual attire is nothing fancy most of the time, usually just a light jacket over the long sleeve shirt, some worn blue jeans, and regular black shoes. When he's on duty, he wears the basic Nest uniform. He wears a pendant around his neck, a simple one that has a piece of amber that's been shaped into a horn. It's the only thing he has to know his mother by, and treasures it dearly because of that.
Skills/Talents:
He's a programmer and a gamer, never having worked out a day in his life that wasn't part of a school curriculum. He also likes to draw from time to time, and has gotten rather good at it since his time at the academy. That being said, he still doesn't consider himself as being that good more often than not. He's also gained some skills in hand-to-hand combat thanks to his Nest training, as well as some marksman training. He's decent in both, but more skilled in the latter than the former.
Brief Backstory:
Alex lived with his father in the city of Verthaven, with his father being a highly respected member of the community and just the two of them living in two-story house in Union-Point hills. He had only the faintest memories of his mother, who had died before he could remember. He had never been told how his mother died, and while obviously curious once he became old enough to become aware of that fact, he never could bring himself to ask his father. He had always felt a deep sadness in his father, one that always seemed to grow whenever his mother was mentioned.
He discovered his affinity with Technopathy when he was around 7 or 8, when his dad found him flipping channels on the T.V. just by staring at it. His father was so happy that he didn't even care that earlier that same day, he'd been suspended for getting into a fight with another student. 'Ah, You've just got a temper is all, just like your mother. Haha, she would've killed you for this, but before worrying over you like a fussy hen over her eggs.' It was one of the few times he'd ever heard his father speak about his without any sadness in his voice. It was only years later that he'd find out why his father was so elated, beyond fatherly pride that is.
4 years come and go without major incident, with Alex's father trying and failing to teach him how to use his abilities due to the differences in how they functioned, until one day when disaster strikes. As the son of a prominent Meta-human doctor, it was an inevitable conclusion that he'd eventually be targeted, yet it once his father never felt the need to plan for. he felt that with NEST and the police on the look out for the gangs and terrorist that'd try to go after his son would never be able to make it. His over-confidence in the government's capabilities was misplaced, however, as Alex was kidnapped on his way home from school by the ever mysterious Hands of Science. He and some other carefully selected Meta-humans of all ages and classes, were to become test subjects for a weapon the notorious group had created through their research, an insidious device that caused a Meta-humans cells to begin the Ashing process. The test took place in the Ghost Town, away from prying eyes and all Alex could do was watch in horror as dozens of people were killed in cold-blood, fading away until there was nothing left. Not every execution went off without a hitch, however , as some were only partially turned before the Ashing halted, leaving only half-living corpses in their lace. As he stared down the barrel, facing death as it began to charge an the end coming ever nearer, he prayed to god for some miracle to save him from death. But soon, all he could feel was pain as the world exploded around him .
It wouldn't be for another 4 years, at the age of 16, that Alex would finally open his eyes again, though he'd be quick to realize they weren't the ones he was born with. His sight was too crisp, too clean,, his eyes felt heavy in his head. Only half-thoughts could form as he looked around, only to be suddenly engulfed by his father in a extremely tight hug as he sobbed hysterically, tears flooding down his face, which had aged so much that it startled him. Over the next few months, ALex would be told of how NEST found him and the other surviving Meta's after noticing an odd level of power fluctuations in ghost Town. They arrived on the scene immediately, soon discovering the building the test were being held in and busting their way in. They found Alex along with the few other survivors, his body rapidly beginning to break down as the process began. He had been rushed to the hospital, where his father himself had operated on him, doing everything he could and more to save his son's life. He succeeded in the end, but not without severe consequences. Alex's eyes and arm had suffered catastrophic damage and had to be removed completely, as well as his brain and heart suffering from serious damage that left him comatose and tied to a machine. Many saw Alex as a terminal case, with little chance of making it through anymore, and told his father to just pull the plug and end his suffering. His father promptly told those people that they could take their opinion and go fuck themselves with it, before heading off to his labs, determined not to lose the only family he had left. It had taken years of work, research and pushing himself to the limits of his ability for him to become the man he is today, a pioneer in prosthetic technology, and more importantly, the man who gave his son back his life.
The next two years have been spent on physical therapy, as his muscle had atrophied due to disuse over the years, and also making sure everything was functioning properly. Once his father deemed him fit, as his recovery was sped up through the use of his father's other machines, his father decided it was time for him to learn how to use his abilities and how to control them, especially his rage-based ones, in order to prevent this kind of event from happening again. In truth, his father wanted him to have his powers suppressed to eliminate the danger entirely, and Alex was tempted to do so as well, but then his father told him of how his mother died, using her power, which was a similar form of emotional manipulation only more focused on defensive use than offensive, to save his father from an attack from a powerful Meta-human criminal. She had never really made use of her powers before, seeing no need to, and while it was strong enough to save many, many lives, the strain was too much for her to handle and she Ashed away right in front of him. Alex didn't want to lock up his power, he didn't ant to live in fear of it. Knowing of his mother's sacrifice, he felt as inspired as he felt saddened. He wouldn't allow himself to be but in that same situation. He learned first hand that danger always comes when you least expect it, so he at least wanted to learn how to fight back. HIs father was against it at first, but once he saw the stubborn look in Alex's eye that was so much like his mother's, he couldn't resist and gave in. He worked some added safety measures into his arm and sent him of to Academy 218, hoping that he made the right choice.
At the academy, he'd initially have his doubts about how well he'd be able to actually relate with his fellow students, as he was there for very different reasons than most of them, but in the end he found his fears to be mostly unfounded. He got along with people, made friends, enemies, and just livd his life as best he could. It was pretty fun . . . until the academy was suddenly attacked. The lights went out, people were screaming, and there was nothing but chaos and mayhem through out the school. Amidst the action, Alex somehow found himself facing off against one of the intruders, barely being able to hold him back until they called a retreat, and almost pushing himself to asking again from the process of not only defending himself, but some other students that had gotten caught in the cross-fire.
After the incident, Alex's mind was more set than ever on what he wanted for his future, and what he needed to learn if he were to accomplish his goals. He swore that that would be the last time he found himself so helpless against another person ever again, and as soon as he was able, he signed up to join NEST. TO say the transition in life style from somewhat spoiled rich kid to NEST cadet was jarring is quite the understatement, and Alex would be lying if he said that he didn't feel like he just wasn't met for this kind of work at times. But he pushed those thoughts to the side, and kept on pushing, and after he got over his first hump, the rest came to him with moderate ease. While still a cadet, he's been assigned to an officer in New Riviére for some on the job training, to learn the ins and outs of the field from a professional.
Power Information
Power Class:
Super-System, Cerebral
Power:
Technopathy: This is an ability he inherited from his father, though instead of gaining control of the hardware like his father, his son has a more intimate connection with technology. He doesn't command them so much as ask them to do what he wants, the download and uploading of data in and out of his head being more like a conversation than a strict process. The software, the coding and programs that form the synapses of the technology and tell it what to do is his domain. This allows him to interact with the tiny constructor drones in his robotic prosthetic, guiding their movements and actions with remarkable ease, as well as the queen, which were built by his father. The drones and the arm are made from a experimental metal alloy that has been infused with Meta-human energy, making it resistant to the abilities of other Metahumans.
Alex main use of this Technopathy is focusing more on his true passion: Coding, with a focus on game design to be precise. With his ability, there are very few computers and technologies he can't coax into giving up their secrets, if he ever decided to get into the hacking field(not to say he's never hacked before, of course, but he's done it very rarely). Also, thanks to the fact that his eyes are now all machine, he can create a form of HUD display in which he can actively scan and get a read out on a particular piece of technology, a program he created using his powers. He's done several such programs for his arm as well, from making it have capable of being a wi-fi hotspot, creating a few gigs of space using constructors in order to store his music, to even setting up a holographic display(a device he kinda hacked out from his dads files) around his arm, so he can do things like watch tv, get the time, surf the web, etc, etc
Cybernetic Enhancements: After losing his right arm, eyes, and nearly his life the first time he lost control of his powers, his father, a powerful Technopath and a highly regarded doctor, immediately set to work helping his son to recover. The drive created from his need to help make sure this event never happened again drove his powers to new heights, allowing him to control technology down to it's base materials, and from those, created entirely new technologies that previously wouldn't be thought easily possible. With this new power in hand, he slowly but surely began to work on advanced prosthetics, a slow and steady process of over 5 years and numerous prototypes where his son was the main test subject. Eventually, he was able to get them to their current level of aptitude.
Along with the arm, he also has a cybernetic eye replacements, allowing him to see as normal, though they are capable of scanning people vitals(which causes his eyes to change like so when activated) and if they are suffering any injuries on their person or exhibiting signs of heighten electrical activity(so he knows who to stay away from), a symbiotic heart implant, as that was also dangerously damaged during the event and was the first thing that his father worked to create, as he likely wouldn't have made it past the age of 15 without it. There are also a few others that help make sure that everything else in his body stays functional.
Along with having all of the functionality of a regular arm, is also has an array of offensive and defensive tools incorporated into it, as well as some more luxury-features that Alex later added in with his own abilities. These include a decent amount of enhanced strength and durability(more so in the later than the former), allowing him to lift people much larger than him with ease and take a blow from Meta-humans with super strength with barely a dent in the casing. His shoulder and part of his torso has been reinforced and fitted with advanced shock-absorbers, so as to minimize the damage that such actions and impacts would have on the rest of his body. The arm also has a built in taser, so along as someone comes is in physical contact with the arm, they'll be in for a world of hurt, and this can be used at a range by having his drones build darts to launch at his foes.
The drones themselves are phenomenal works of engineering by his father, able to make anything from bed sheets to high powered laptops and even greater than that as well, as long as they have a blueprint coded into the software. On hand, Alex has about every blueprint one could ever need for the luxury items in his life, but he also has a cool little tool that he kinda begged out of his dad, who also repurposed it for less emergency based needs. Basically, Alex can summon a force field that has three modes:Comfort, Personal defense, Group Defense. In more detail, he has a device in his arm(that he can also make for others using his drones) that can cover him in a field of modified Meta-human energy, using him as the battery. In comfort mode, it basically keeps him warm and protection him from air and waterborne hazards by filtering them out or simply blocking them, as well as keeping the temperature around his body relatively comfortable in regards to his surroundings. The field is completely invisible and fits solely around his body, almost like a second skin. Personal defense mode makes it a bit more visible, as it forms a malleable oval that bends and contorts in conjunction with his body, and provides moderate level of protection from physical attacks, and a noticeably better protection from elemental based attacks. This is what he uses in a fight and to keep his heart from immediately getting shut down while engaging with an Electrokinetic. Heavy physical blows(from either super-strength Meta-humans or having large things thrown at him) can overcome the shield's capacity to defend if the force is too great, leading to Alex suffering more intensive injury, though likely much less than what he would've been exposed to without it. Against elementals, he has more of an advantage in protecting himself from harm, but if he got hit with a concentrated blast of their attack, in most cases, it cause his shielding to weaken, and thus, provide an opening for them to strike. The final form is for when he needs to protect a group, and is the strongest of the three, covering up to 10 meters in diameter. While the energy consumed is usually his, if he can get a volunteer to stick a needle in their arm, connected to his, he can share the burden with them, making the shield that much more stable.
Limits:
The constructor bots guidelines have been reworked to more properly align themselves with his new line of work. Lethal weapons and explosives can now be created, though there must be an active threat in the area in order for this to be done. The size limit remains the same as before, nothing bigger than what would fit in a 6ft circumference.
When engaging with technology, he needs to focus on his 'conversation' with the software, so he can't do if there's a lot of distractions nearby or he's suffering under some kind of duress.
The constructors drones run on his meta-human energy, and the amount they take is related to the size and complexity of an item, with complexity taking a lot more out of him than size. Something like a laptop, tablet, or smartphone will leave him feeling, while relatively small in size, will leave him quite fatigued after making it due to how complex the machinery is. Making a large blanket or comforter, however, is rather easy. The time it takes for him to create something goes from anywhere between 5-45 seconds depending on the item. Making the Porta-shield, the most complex thing he can build, will leave him very much drained and maybe even slightly paralyzed.
When it comes to the porta-shield, the drain is relative to the strain being put on it. Comfort mode is the easiest to maintain, so much so that he can keep it on indefinitely in most cases, the drain is so minor. It starts to get to him, however, when he's stuck in extremes of either weather cycle, and while it'll still take a while for him to run low on energy, he'll have to conserve what he has access to more efficiently, less he ends up stuck in the snow with a metal arm. Personal defense is tougher to maintain, definitely something he won't be using for extended periods of time if he can avoid it. The protection can be overcome if hit by a strong enough blow attack, and the shield doesn't completely block out physical attacks either, as he'll still be knocked back and stagger, it just that he won't have to worry about broken bones along with it. Given the drain, this is one that he tends to only use against foes where he's definitely going to be in for a bad time if he doesn't. Group protection is the one that can kill him f he's not careful and doing it alone. While maintaining it by itself is rather easy, once it's put under strain, it really starts eating through his energy. If it's overcome by the attack the shield will give out final shockwave in attempt to knock the aggressor back. F he has enough energy in him, he can throw in a flash bang as well, to disorient them while people either attack or try to escape. After using this, Alex is almost always down for the count, barely able to move, think, or speak, let alone create anything. This is an extreme last resort move, when their is no other option to keep either himself or a group alive.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
The Queen that creates the Constructor Drones and provides the with materials(who synthesizes them by feeding passively feeding on ALex's Meta-human energy) to build, which are rather small at about 2-3 cm in length, is embedded in his shoulder. If that area is ever damaged, or if the queen is ever compromised, then Alex will lose all ability to over his constructors, and maybe in his arm if the damage is severe enough. The Arm also has a weak spot on the inside of the elbow, so a strong hit there could probably rip right through and either remove or disable everything to the south of that point.
Due to the fact that his constructors have a finite material amount to build with, he can only build a limited amount of things before his drones need to refil, which would take about 1-2 minutes if he completely exhausts them(like if he made a ridiculously good laptop or the Porta-shield), but usually takes him about 30 seconds or so if he's still got some in reserve.
Due to his mechanical parts, even though the material they're made of was meant to be resistant to Meta-Human powers, are highly susceptible to strong electrical currents. So if Alex is charged with enough true electricity, then any and all of his prosthetics could shut down, leaving him potentially blind, unable to use one of his arms, and suffering from cardiac arrest due to his heart suddenly stoping. That latter is a problem for most, but for him the risk is especially high.
He suffers from splitting headaches and debilitating nausea when he's close contact with electromagnetic waves, as they interfere with the machines in his head. If one were to focus a beam or something of that nature of electro-magnetic waves at him, they'd temporarily short circuit and he'd be instantly knocked out, and stay like that for a good five minutes or so, give or take.
Can't swim that well do to the fact that his body is kinda lopsided in the wait department, so water is definitely something to be careful of.

Alex is a creative and romantic sort, prone to flights of fancy and chasing various ideals that pop into his head. He has a bit of a temper, but tries very heard to keep it in check, often taking part in things like Yoga, Tai-chi, and meditation to help him stay calm. Other than that, he's also a bit of a jokester, always ready to make a sarcastic reply or a joke, though whether he's any good at it depends on who you ask. Despite his near death experience, he's quite care free, except when it comes to his abilities, not really stressing much on anything.
Is currently taking remedial classes in order to catch up on the six years of school he's missed. It's a lot of work to do, and in not a lot of time, but he's busting his ass to get it done. That means that he tends to spend a lot of time by himself or in the library studying and practicing like there's no tomorrow.
Hates Carrots and Greens
Is somewhat addicted to sugary foods
Is a relative open-minded person and always ready to make new friends
Alex has created a Artifical Intelligence using his coding skills, Technopathy, and a few brain scans talen from some of his father's patents and from his friend, Diana. In fact, she was the main reason he was able to make a good amount of progress, as the scan gave him a great amount of data on a fully intact and healthy human brain. The A.I goes by the name Nora(self-named much to Alex's chargin) and she's been in activation for about 1 and a half years. She serves as Alex's assistant for most days, but can also assist him in hacking and decryption as well, though she's not as good.
One odd observation that Nora has made is that Diane is technically her mother and Alex her father, as such, she tends to want to talk to Diane whenever possible and also emulates her behavior to an extent. Something Alex doesn't necessarily like, as he's afraid of what people will think of him because of it. Not only that, but he finds Nora's insitanxe in gender, names, and recently, wanting a body to be both interesting and annoying. He wonders if this desire to express indoviduality is due to the use of Diane's brain or just a natural progression. Either way, she's his most annoying accomplishment and is constantly hooked into his head through wireless connection, the main server holding her consciousness is located at wherever his current residence is.
@Raijinslayer Sorry for the late-ish response. Only thing is that, upon reevaluation is that he's a tad OP (Just a tad) with all the shields, and strength, and durability and technopathy.
@Mr Allen JOkay, I'll get rid of the added enhancements then. Any other issues?
Well, my thing is that he seems to have a ridiculous amount of durability when you combine the cybernetics, the shield, and how it's been Meta-proofed.
@Mr Allen JSo should I cut it out or specify on the drain a bit more? Also, to be honest, i kinda forgot about the shield somehow while adding in the enhancement thing, I guess cause it's been awhile since I played this character. As for the cybernetics, with the ones I added in cut out, then the main thing is his arm, which is definitely more dangerous now thanks to him receiving training, but it's also just an arm. It can't protect all of him. As I currently see the shield, Jessica could probably deal a good amount of damage to him through it if she were to hit him with either one of her full-powered swings(which would probably break or fracture a bone) or to get him a couple of times with her average ones, the damage building up over time just like in a real fight.
Against elementals, he has more of an advantage in protecting himself from harm, but if he got hit with a concentrated blast of their attack, in most cases, it cause his shielding to weaken, and thus, provide an opening for them to strike. Would the shield be better if I added in these specifications on the shields capabilities?
