I would like you to move us to close to the Church and be on the path of Rasputin and Vlad (which is funny since he's yours too). There's just this tradition of the first big battle being between Lancer and Saber, and I would like to uphold it, lest it doesn't feel like a HGW for me.

If you want to appeal for your character to know General Magecraft as a bundle, then PM me the justification behind it. I won't be handing it out to everyone since most characters blatantly shouldn't know it.

Does Tamamo remember past wars here? It was shown she does during Extra (The awkward moment you meet Pieceman and find out he's Tama's Ex) but the moon cell Grail War was fundamentally different than the Heaven's Feel ritual. I was thinking more along the lines of using it for flavoring and humor than lording her experience against Vlad as a tactical advantage.

While I know that Past, Present and Future mean nothing for a Servant, doesn't the Mooncell wars happen like thousands of years from now? As far as I know, this is the last step before the world of Angel Notes comes into being.

I dont think so. Normally servants wont remember any of the grail wars they've been in. FSN Saber was unique.

Heroic Spirits are beings cut off from the time axis and can be summoned in any era, regardless of past and future. However, the only one that can summon the main body of the Heroic Spirits is the "world", and alas, humans can't summon the main body and can only summon their emanations, the Servants. Speaking of which, the information (souls) making up the Servants return to the main body at the same time as the death of the Servant, and the main body can know, as records, about the actions of the Servants as if reading a book.

That said, she shouldn't really know-know the details because she has an infinite amount of books in a place where past/present/future are meaningless, so it all blends together after a while. Case in point being that EMIYA forgot his best friend's name because the Throne is hell.

EXTRA is in 2030.

It's also a different future than Notes. In EXTRA the disappearance of mana gets accel'd by what may or may not be a failed Aylesbury. In Notes Gaia just starts dying then realizes humanity's going to outlive it and asks the other planets to murderize them. In Tsuki no Sango humanity becomes the God Emperor of the Universe and then becomes so powerful that their life becomes meaningless and then they self-destruct. Etc.

Not to be a buzzkill here but given that The Lord (or just "The" now apparently?) opened up by asking for skinny jeans and talking about banging dudes and generally acting slutty, I can't see how you've given kusanagifire any lead-in to actually get to the church.
I mean, your character is the one who is the devout Catholic in this relationship, not the Japanese magus. Shouldn't you be giving him something more to work with here?
It might just be me but it feels like you're expecting him to do all the heavy lifting insofar as making this whole encounter not feel incredibly contrived.

I was kind of surprised by El Cid's opening. Since the Lord of War (I can't say that without picturing Arms Dealer Nicholas Cage) lived her entire life posing as a man and being the epitomy of honor, the casual kinkieness was surprising. Sure, everything Tamamo says is in someway suggestive or poking the fourth wall, but she was a courtesan and an aspect of a goddess, so there is some sense to it.
Even if she can on one hand say she wants to be the perfect wife and will castrate a cheating Master, yet at the same time lock herself in the Nurse's office for seven hours with either Rin Tohsaka or a shy Egyptian homunculus while Sakura watches through a keyhole. (Accursed American import cutting out the good bits).
