A high school class of students take a seven day trip to one of the most historical cities in the state. However, the bus driver seems to be a different person and they don't seem to arrive at the town they're supposed to. During the day the city seems perfectly normal, but it becomes completely different from sunset to dawn (like the image below). However, the longer you stay in the city, the more paranormal activities you would encounter such as witnessing a murder scene, cannibalism, ghosts, dolls etc. (Go crazy and be creative~) Eventually, some of the students would even become psychologically unstable. The students and teachers/faculties must evacuate the city as soon as they realize what is happening to themselves before it's too late.
This RP is 18+ (Gore and wut not)
Please write at least 1-2 paragraphs minimum. I'd like this RP to be around high-casual.
May play as a teacher or a student
Want around maybe 3-4 people
May have romance in it, if you want
Appearance _ [Art pls] Name _ Age _ Sexuality_
Personality (Can be vague)_
History (Optional)_
Other (Optional)_
*BTW this is my first time doing this, so be patient with me pls. Thnx* :)
Will there be more backstory? Location of the school, et cetera? Also, will we start off riding on the bus like an exposition sort of thing first, or will we be getting right off as soon as the roleplay begins?
@Ebonsquire For the school there won't be much of information unless you guys want some, but we'll start off riding the bus as in traveling to the town. The bus ride part shouldn't take that long either maybe a couple of hours. Then they'll arrive at a weird inn kind of place and from there you write about the weird things that happen and stuff. Hope that helps.
Personality: Malta is a shy young girl who mostly keeps to herself. She's always tried to do her best in school and highly enjoys reading when not casually hanging out with friends in coffee shops or browsing the internet. Due to her family's concerns, she's usually carries some form of a weapon on her and is very cautious. Some might even say she's a little jumpy or frequently on edge since she almost always has her guard up. This makes it difficult for her to make friends or talk to people as she's always seemingly nervous and easily startled. Overall, to strangers, she's highly suspicious and distrustful. Those who break past that barrier of nervousness find a very calm, centered girl beneath who loves nothing more than to sit at the window on a Sunday morning and drink tea while listening to the birds chirp away. Due to familial issues, she's emotionally compromised and honestly a wreck deep down. She would like nothing more than for some prince/ss charming to sweep her off her feet and "fix" her.
The youngest daughter in her family, she was 6 years old when she was told to hide in the closet when an intruder was heard in her home. Obeying, she watched in horror from an open crack as the intruder strangled her father to death, stabbed her mother and beat to death her two older sisters. Having spotted her, the intruder dragged her out of the closet kicking and screaming, ready to snap her small neck. At that time however, her 14 year old brother came home from baseball practice and
From there, the police were called. Malta and her brother, Marit, were taken into custody and placed in a foster home. Once all had settled down with the placement of the two, their new family proved to be abusive in an emotional sense. Their new brothers and sisters ignored them, and even hated them when their parents attempted to show them any affection. This made Marit and Malta learn to stick together. Three years in their foster family's custody built to a point where their foster siblings had had enough. They cornered the 9 year old Malta, cutting her hair down to the scalp, kicking her while she was down and calling her filthy names. Years of dealing with the trauma of watching her parents and sisters be killed caused her to snap in that moment. She fought back, pushing down the youngest of her foster siblings who was just a year older than herself and strangling him. While the foster siblings did their best to pull her off, it was to no avail. He would have died had Marit not come in at the last second and pull Malta off.
In the end, it was decided that since Marit was 17, they would leave the foster family to fend for themselves and nothing more was said about the incident. Now living on their own, Marit dropped out of school just before graduating to take up work to support himself and Malta in their one bedroom apartment in the city by Malta's school. As her hair regrew, Marit decided that she should carry a weapon considering their past. Though he had noted Malta's show of violence back with their foster family, he had noted that it had been self defense and trusted her with weapons. At all times now, Malta carries a knife attached to her leg under her skirt.
Marit and Malta's past has dictated their relationship to be closer than the average brother and sister. Marit has proven to become far too overprotective of Malta almost to the point of abuse in itself. Malta, however, having no other person in her life quite so important to her, has never seen it this way and clings to her brother when out in public.
Marit has become leader of a street gang and now deals drugs which highly helps with his income, which is best since he got fired from his crappy minimum wage job and became desperate. Now he's able to spoil his little sister with frequent trips out to eat and new clothing. They've been able to upgrade to a very nice high class apartment in a skyscraper and Malta, being the obedient little sister in his care, has never questioned how they were able to afford it. He has also been able to help pay for Malta's schooling so she can afford to go to the high school who's fate is about to take a turn for the worst. Their life has become phenomenal, but the weight of the past still sits on their shoulders.
Marit and Malta, being as close as they are, have strained sexual tension between them that neither have stepped up to pursue. Their shared trauma, experiences, and borderline psychosis issues has made them far closer than a brother and sister ever should be. And while both are aware, neither has said anything on the subject. It remains a dark tension that is only increasing by the day.
Other: -The names of her family reflect foods or sweets. Malta in reference to malt shakes you can get at a 1950's style restaurant and Marit is in reference to the popular Italian dessert Tiramisu -Malta is good with her knife, but she's also good with just about anything that can be turned into a weapon, particularly short to mid range objects like rusty lead pipes and broken broom handles. -It's really refreshing to have an 18+ roleplay for gore and gross stuff, pardon me for taking advantage vuv
@xKarnival Is it okay if I disclose my history through roleplay instead of in the character sheet? I mean, I could write like five - ten sentences, but I don't feel up to divulging my character's life story just yet. I have it fleshed out, though.
This is a CS. I didn't know if I wanted to be a teacher or a student and decided to just go for a student because teachers are adults and adults are poop and I can say this because I am one now here is the CS of the student and definitely not a teacher which has been made clear okay thank you and have a nice day.
Personality It's rare to see Nicoletta without a smile. It's even more rare to see her without a gaggle of people around her, chattering about the latest news from the hottest gossip rag. However, when Nicoletta smiles it never seems to be out of genuine joy, and she only ever appears to contribute to conversations amongst her supposed peers in the vaguest manner possible. She's one of the popular crowd by virtue of the most shallow reasons possible and she knows that but sees no reason why she can't take advantage of that while it lasts. By playing along and acting like one of the in crowd she has built a solid reputation for herself as both intimidating and flirtatious, though Nicoletta has never acted on her playful little antics. In her mind, Nicoletta doesn't belong with the in crowd, sharing none of their interests and hating that she's constantly coming off as a bratty, spoiled little girl. She wants to just be herself, but that's become harder and harder as she isn't quite sure who she is or what she wants...only that she doesn't want to suffer more talk over who's hooking up with who and who made the cover of this month's issue.
History Nicoletta was born outside of the country, coming over with family when she was a child due to her papa inheriting his brother's failed venture: a fine dining Italian restaurant in the heart of the city. Her papa, being much more skilled at management, managed to turn the restaurant around and into something that requires reservations in advance. Nicoletta was left to her own devices during this lengthy renovation process as her papa seemed to care more about raising the business' reputation than raising his daughter. Once the restaurant was something of a hot spot for more illustrious clientele, Nicoletta found her own stock rising among the students at school all looking for a way 'in'. The weird, daydreaming, doodling, heavily accented girl in the back of the class was now suddenly invited to all the birthday parties and being taken out on various trips to various local joints.
Her papa wants to keep the family business going. Nicoletta doesn't know what she wants, but she does know that people's expectations of her have been consistently dragging her around for years now.
Other
-Nicoletta has yet to reveal her orientation to anyone -She is on the cheerleading squad but shows little affection for it. It was just what she thought she was 'supposed' to do. -Is quite the superfan of tennis but didn't make the team...because she missed tryouts to be dragged to cheerleading. Whatever, tennis is stupid anyway.
Nicoletta's deeper history is to be expanded upon over the course of the RP.
@Ebonsquire@xKarnival Ye, I just had Malta wear a uniform since her bro probably bought her an outfit that looks similar to one because she thought they were cute and she's a bit of a weeaboo.
It's most typical to see Vander with an intense frown plastered on his face whenever he's not engaged in conversation or focusing on some other activity. One could almost gather that he doesn't enjoy being alone with his own thoughts, and would much rather be kept busy by others -- rather, any form of social interaction appears to alleviate that grimace from his expression. However, it's still not common to see him with a smile even while talking to others. In the scope of school life, Vander is hardly a popular or well-known student. His grades have been kept average, he has never received any academic or extracurricular awards (not that he participated in any clubs or sports to begin with), and his favorite seat in any classroom lies in the back of the class, as far away from the teacher's desk as possible. He's not the sort of person who gleefully enjoys voicing his opinion on matters, though he definitely has his own views on certain topics. This habit of suppression comes from the utmost desire to stay out of trouble or land himself on someone's shit-list. From the constantly tensed shoulder muscles and furrowed brows, it can certainly be inferred that Vander is someone who is strangely on edge most of the time.
History: To be divulged over time.
Other: -Enjoys exploration, but certainly doesn't enjoy partaking in the activity by himself. -Vander has amassed hardly any adequate combat capabilities throughout the entirety of his life. Fleeing would seem to be his best bet for surviving most dangerous situations. Thankfully, over the past four years of training in the concrete jungle that is his district, he's become a fairly adept traceur. -Keeps a photograph of an elderly beagle lying on its side in a vast field of grass in his right pants pocket.
